Cute Merry Man from Another World - Prologue
It was 5:00 PM. Hyde Kido, well known as the *Unknown Actor* during his time as an In-Birth, finished school. Since it was summer, he can stay at home, playing games or manga… As he went into his home, he found a girl who she was familiar with.
"Hey Linne. I'm home." He said, being greeted by the girl. "Welcome back, Hyde." she said, without showing any signs of affection. He went to his room to drop his bag and, when he's done, went back to the living room, where Linne also went in. They both sat down.
"So, Hyde… Any news about Paradox?" The name that Linne said was the alias of Hilda, the leader of a group of In-Births known as *Amnesia*. The group was well known for their misdeeds that Hyde has dealt with in the past.
"Nope… Last time I heard from her was that there was a rumor that some sort of natural being made people disappear… Worst case scenario is that some people heard that some woman with black and white fancy dress has gone missing. Perhaps Hilda would be that woman…" He explained. Despite the fact that Linne wasn't quite interested, she did feel quite a relief that Hilda would be out of the picture.
"Well… I guess it's good for us, right…? Even though you haven't found a way to break my curse…" Indeed, Linne was cursed into reincarnating ever since ancient times. However, that wasn't the point of the conversation. What Hyde said, it concerned her. Was Hilda really kidnapped…?
"Well… I feel like whoever took Paradox out must be a Re-Birth… Do you think your brother would be involved…?" He asked. Upon hearing his question, Linne couldn't rule out that possibility. Her brother was most likely to be on Hilda's side. However…
"If that was the case… Why would he try to take her out…?" She raised some suspicions. Of course, Hyde couldn't get that answer, since he doesn't know yet about the full story of both Linne and her brother. This caused both of them to even wonder about the latter's brother's true intentions.
"I guess we have to wait until your brother makes his big entrance…" Hyde said, with Linne agreeing with him. "Until then…" she added.
At night, both Hyde and Linne were on their beds in his room, being separated to prevent their relationship being awkward. They slept after they bid each other good nights.
During the night, unbeknownst to them, they were sent to somewhere else… Somewhere… That they weren't familiar yet…
