Noah The Invoked[Yu-Gi-Oh! DM/SI] – Chapter 1

xxx

"Exodia Obliterate!" These were the words that returned the memories of my previous life to me as I watched Yugi Muto, or rather the Pharaoh, extend her hand out to declare her victory as one of the strongest monsters of the Duel Monsters won her the game, the effect immediately granting her victory. Which immediately ended the broadcast of the duel as Seto had wanted to demonstrate her new invention and cement her position as a top duelist as Yugi Muto was a high-ranking regional duelist.

"Nee-sama!" I heard my step-sister Mokuba say as she rushed over to our sister, who had just gotten rocked by her own Solid Vision system.

I quickly followed her as the lift carried her back down to us, and Seto looked completely out of it, making no reaction as Mokuba shaked her.

I, of course, knew what was happening; she had gotten Mind Crushed by the Pharaoh to put her slightly twisted mind back together again the right way. As of right now, I was currently putting all my new and old memories in order, and while she treated us all well, other people…

Yeah, in the long term, what the Pharoah had done was for the better, as this would allow her to expel some of the evil that Gozaburo had installed in her heart and mind, while it was what had allowed her to take over Kaiba Corp. And secure our future, the way she had done it had been messed up.

"What did you do to her?" Mokuba shouted at the Pharaoh, who was looking at the three of us.

"I sent Kaiba on a journey to find herself," She answered. "How fast she finishes that is up to her, though I think you can help speed that up if you support her like proper siblings."

"What do you mean?" Mokuba asked in confusion.

"Thank you," I simply said, and the Pharoah looked at me with eyes of surprise. "She hasn't been right for years, so whatever magic trick you pulled will help; thank you."

"Well, I think you support her like that; she will be back to how you remember her quickly." The Pharoh said, and as she turned around, there was a shift in her posture, and she was back to being Yugi and was quickly congratulated on her victory by Joey, who was the only one who had stayed behind while the rest had gone with Yugi's grandfather who Seto had almost given a heart attack and a stroke.

"Roland, can you help get our sister to the car," I called out to our sister's right-hand man, as we were currently in the would-be opening tomorrow, Kiba Land Skyscraper, a place that was designed to be the ultimate game complex.

"Of course, Master Noah," The man said as he came over and, with his adult body, carried our almost comatose sister out of the building. And I quickly picked up Seto's deck and the card that had caused the incident in this reality. The only copy of Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon that existed in the entire world that had belonged to Solomon Muto. Then Seto had taken it from him in a forced Antee duel, so I would probably have to give it back to him soon.

And oh yeah…

I was Noah.

Noah Kaiba, the biological son of Gozaburo Kaiba, the original heir to the company and currently not a digitally uploaded consciousness. But a Noah who had actually gotten to meet Seto and Mokuba, and so had learned what a family could actually be.

Loved.

And so he- I had betrayed Gozaburo and joined Seto in taking over the company, giving her the majority of the company shares.

As honestly, she was a much better business person than I was, even when she was not being scummy.

"Do you think she is going to be okay, Nii-Sama?" Mokuba asked me, and oh right, I was her older brother, older than both her and Seto as I was eighteen and Seto was sixteen. Though one wouldn't be able to guess as I was about as tall as Mokuba, and she was a short girl, as while I wasn't a Noah that gotten hit by a truck, I was one that got quite sick and so now suffered a case of stunted growth.

"She is going to be fine," I answered. "Seto is made out of some pretty stern stuff, and so she is going to be back up and running in no time. Though until that happens, I am going to be acting as the temporary President of Kaiba Corp immediately." I didn't want any of the Big Five to get ahead of the game. "As my role as Vice-President demands."

"That has been noted, Master Noah," Roland said.

"Good, Mokuba, can you start searching for nurses who can be trusted to help take care of Seto until she recovers," I said, as in her current state, she wasn't any better than a zombie.

"Right," Mokuba said, happy to have something to take her mind off the currently zombie-like Seto, who was at the moment leaning against my body, nuzzling it as her arms were wrapped around my waist.

And I couldn't help but smile at that.

It didn't take us long for us to arrive at the manor, where the loyal staff quickly got Seto out of the car and into her room, where, she could lay down for the moment.

And while Mokuba was busy trying to find a nurse who could help take care of Seto, I went to my room and got to my desk, where I pulled out a deck box.

I opened it up and pulled out my deck.

And doing so did confirm for me that the game was much further ahead than of the anime, though there were no Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, or Link monsters.

But in terms of everything else? Several years ahead already as here the game had been out for about six years and was about to explode even further thanks to Seto's Solid Vision Arena.

As currently in my hand was holding a copy of Aleister the Invoker.

And while my deck was good it was going to need some upgrading so as to crush the pro circuit, as I needed to get to Pegasus' Duelist Kingdom.

That Millenium Eye was going to be mine.

"Now, as you might know, my sister is currently incapacitated, and so I will be acting as CEO until she recovers," I said as I sat before the Big Five, five Japanese-Americans who had managed to become some of the biggest names in Kaiba Corp. Then Gozaburo had been the CEO and was responsible for much of the company's success when it had been a weapon manufacturer, but now they were nothing but figureheads after Seto had taken all their power from them. "Though despite her public loss, the demonstration of the new Solid Vision System was a success, and I can see we've gotten requests from various stadiums for their own Solid Vision Arena."

"Yes, quite the tragedy," Leichter spoke as if he gave a singular fuck about Seto; none of them did. These fucks should be happy they still had a job; well, at least I could do what Seto had been planning to do. Though thankfully I had nothing to fear from them, thanks to the presence of Roland, who was standing behind my back, it was so nice to have someone actually loyal to you. The man had already disposed of the ones on Pegasus payroll earlier this morning. "But with tragedy comes opportunity."

"Yes, Master Noah," Gansley spoke. "You are the blood child of Gozaburo, the one who was meant to lead this company in the first place when you came of age."

"Yes, you are the one who can bring the company back to what it used to be and not what it has become." Nezbitt continued with the blatant villain monologue they were all going on, as they didn't see me as Noah; they just saw me as Gozaburo Jr. And due to my stunted growth, a child in need of nurturing despite being 18 and going to graduate high school in two months.

"Gentlemen," I spoke as I cut them off, preventing Johnson and Crump from having their turn to monologue. "You seem to be suffering from a severe misunderstanding, or delusions."

"What!" They all replied in anger.

"Weapons are not the future; war is not the future. Duel Monsters is, games are, entertainment and civilian products is, advertisement, computer data," I said, and honestly, it was hard to believe that this was 1997, Seto had made actual holograms, and DVDs still weren't the primary storage format. "Seto Kaiba was the best thing to happen to this company; you should all know we are more successful than ever; Seto invented functional holograms, and she is going to accelerate our world to heights we have not seen yet. Kaiba Corp. is going to helm that future."

The Big Five seethed in their seats as they wanted to speak up against me.

"You five are fossils of a bygone Era." There was going to be no War Economy or Patriots. "So it is my pleasure to do this."

At that, the doors to the conference room opened up, and the police entered,

"Konosuke Gansley, Adrain Randolph Crump the Third, Chikuzen Johnson, Soichiro Nezbitt, and Kogoro Leichter, you are all under arrest," They declared as they began cuffing.

"What is the meaning of this Noah!" Leichter screamed at me.

"Honestly Leichter, did you, did all of you think that me and Seto wouldn't find out what you were up to with Pegasus?" All of their faces paled at that. "Also, you are all fired."

And with that, they were carted out by the police as they read of the crimes they were suspected of, which was a lot.

Seto had been gathering material on them for years.

"Well, those obstacles have been taken care of, sir," Roland said, a bit of pride in his voice for what I had done.

"Yes, though thankfully, they were sloppy," I added. "So let's get down to actual business." With that, physical files were sent in, and digital files were sent to me as it was my plan to see what we had and what things Seto had been planning to invest into, and of course, with my future knowledge, I knew things no one else did, what would be needed to get a head start.

And, of course, I had also sent out inquiries to locate information about shadow magic, alchemy and other such things.

Though as I work, one of the many secretaries called me through the coms. "Master Noah, Maximillian Pegasus is on the line and wishes to speak with you."

"Put him through," I answered.

"Ah, Noah boy, it's been a while since we last spoke," Pegasus spoke in that jovial tone of his, and it was true; it had been a few months since I saw Pegaus when Seto had presented to him the Solid Vision prototype to enhance the game of Duel Monsters.

Taking the deal right under Sigfried von Schroeder's nose.

"I has, and can you please stop calling me boy? You are only eight years older than me," It was honestly easy to forget that Pegasus wasn't even thirty yet. Heck, he was mid-twenties.

"Hmm, yes, but I am calling as I heard the news of Kaiba Corporation's Big Five being arrested."

"Yes, they were planning on stealing the company, and their crimes in doing so caught up to them; now they just need to be prosecuted," I answered. "Learnt that they were talking with you about installing you as CEO."

"…Yes, it was a proposal they sent my way to see if a merger between Kaiba Corp. and Industrial Illusions would be possible. With them calling last night after Kaiba lost her duel, though despite such backroom dealings, our current contract is still being upheld, yes?"

"It is; the success of Duel Monsters will only benefit both companies," I responded.

"Good to hear, and what of your younger sister? Will she recover from the rather devastating loss at the hands of Exodia?" Pegasus asked.

"She will; she is just going on an inner journey or whatever you wanna call it," I said.

"Nice to hear, well it was good talking to you, Noah boy, hope to see you soon."

With that, the call ended.

"Damn clown…" I muttered as I leaned into the chair.

"Welcome back home, Noah," Mokuba greeted me as I returned home after a hard day of CEO work. And I already wished that Seto was awake, as I was not made for this; the only reason I was doing it instead of Mokuba was because I was older.

She was much better at office work than I was.

"Hey, Mokuba," I said back in a tired voice and a little bit hoarse as I had just finished giving a speech for the opening of Kaiba land. "How is she?"

"Well, she is breathing, and she is able to eat, but she hasn't been responsive to anything or said anything," Mokuba said with a sad tone, and I placed a hand on her shoulder to comfort her.

"It's going to be okay Mokuba, it's going to be a bit, but Seto is going to wake up and better than ever; just trust me, okay?"

"I trust you, big bro, but do you really believe in that mystical mumbo-jumbo Yugi was saying?" She asked. "About Seto finding herself."

"I do," I replied. "There is much more to this world than meets the eye, Mokuba, but to change topics, did you find a live-in nurse?"

"I did, and she had an excellent pedigree," Mokuba said with a smiling face. "Let me introduce you to her; she should have just finished… bathing… Seto." Mokuba's smile dropped a little as I could easily guess she didn't want to infantilize Seto, but she was kind of a baby vegetable at the moment.

"When, let's go and greet them," I said as we walked through the mansion, and just like Mokuba had said, the nurse she had found had just finished cleaning up Seto as they were now coming out of the bathroom; Seto in her new wheelchair, and the nurse…

What?

"Noah, this is Kisara, Kisara, this is Noah," Mokuba introduced each other as I looked at the woman who I was pretty sure should not have a physical body and instead should be a Duel Spirit. But I knew that simply by existing(and all the genderbending), we were well into AU territory, so who was to say she didn't reincarnate like Seto had done to be reunited with her.

And look at the white-haired, blue-eyed woman who was dressed in a nurse's outfit that seemed to be exactly the case.

"Hello, Master Noah; it is a pleasure and an honor to meet you," Kisara said extremely professionally and… submissively? "Allow me to take care of Mistress Seto in her current state."

"Well, that was what you were hired for, and since Mokuba picked you, you must be very good at your job," I replied.

"I take pride in what I have accomplished to get me to this point," Kisara replied.

"Hmm," I heard Seto groan as she looked around with eyes that beheld at the moment pure innocence, like she was actually a newborn baby.

"Hey, Seto," I said as I came over to her and placed my palm in hers. "I am taking care of the company, so you just work on getting better."

"Ahhh," She replied. "Ohhh."

"I think somebody is getting hungry," Kisara said. "And you two probably are, too."

"Yeah," Mokuba replied, and I nodded in agreement with her.

"I will be going to my room until it's ready," I answered. "I've got some things I need to sort out."

"Let me know if you need any help," Mokuba said as she went with Kisara and Seto, and I went to my room, where I pulled out the deck and laid my cards across the desk, as now I had time to properly see what I needed as I pulled out the latest edition of the card catalog, that contained all the newest cards released and the current ban list. And since the game was further along than what it was in the anime, but no Synchro, Xyz, Pendulums, or Links, though going by some of the projects that Seto had been working on, the last one could change.

That means what kinds of cards that were banned, limited, or Semi-limited were different, such as Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity being at one.

Last Will was obviously banned.

But it seemed that due to how it differed, cards that were common and somewhat broken, like Magical Scientist, were out while more rare cards, such as Envoy of the End, were not.

Not a lot of copies of that thing.

And that was seemingly due to how everyone was pulled by gravity to the cards that fit them, which again was why more common bulk cards were on the ban.

But also due to that nature, some cards were overlooked and so could be gotten easily despite how power full they were.

Such as Solemn Judgement.

So I was definitely getting two copies of that, and then there were my monsters, old Noah. Old me simply had a mish-mash of monsters to facilitate the summoning of the Invoked Fusion monsters. But I remembered that there were some Spellcasters that would fit very well and combined with a few Spells from another…

And…

My eyes locked onto monsters that had been released a few months ago…

Yes, those could work very well.

Xxx

A few days had passed since Seto had regressed to an infant by the Pharaoh as she went on a mental journey to fix herself.

And those had been some of the busiest days in my life so far, I had managed to get a lot done as I basically had to skip school for the moment. While firing the Big Five and getting them arrested had been the right move.

They had been responsible for important jobs.

This meant that I had to scramble to get suitable and trustworthy people who didn't have ambitions too large for their shoulders to carry to replace them.

But at the end of the week I had managed to do that.

And because of all of that, it took me until the end of the week to do a thing I really should have done earlier as I now stood in front of the Kame Gameshop, home to Yugi Muto.

But I was not going to the store entrance, as it was currently a Sunday and it was closed. No, instead went around the back to the back of the store, to where the home entrance was; it reminded me of my first life when I lived with my parents when we used to own a bakery…

"Not time to get nostalgic now, Noah," I muttered as I rang the doorbell.

A minute passed before the door opened up, and…

I was pretty sure that Mrs. Muto didn't look like that in the anime or manga as I looked up at the utter milf of a woman that was Yugi's mom.

"Hello there," She greeted me as she looked down at me, her giant tits swaying a little as her body moved, and I wondered if Yugi would grow up to look like that, considering how big her chest already kinda was. "Is there something I can help you with, young man?" Fuck was an apron supposed to stretch around breasts like that? How the hell did a woman like this actually exist? She looked like she walked straight out of a hentai, and man, I wished my body would actually react the way it was supposed to at such an arousing woman.

"Yeah, I was wondering if Yugi was home?" I asked.

"Oh are you another of Yugi's friends? Come right on in; she and the others are in the Living Room," Mrs. Muto said as she quickly guided me inside the house before I had a chance to talk further and into the living room, where I could see Yugi, Tea Gardner, Joey Wheeler, and Tristan Taylor Honda were all sitting around a table, with Duel Monster cards spread onto it and scraps of foil on the floor.

It looked like they had just opened a bunch of booster packs.

"Yugi, one of your friends shoved up," Mrs. Muto said. "I will be in the kitchen making some snacks for all of you."

"But I-" Yugi's voice stopped as her and the other's eyes landed on me.

"Noah!" They all shouted at once as they realized who I was.

"Yeah, that is my name, don't wear it out," I replied.

"What are you doing here?" Joey asked. "You come to get revenge for your big sister against Yugi."

"First of no, second, she is my younger sister, I am older than all of you," I replied, and also for that, Joey, I am going to seduce your sister.

"Wha?"

"But you are so small," Tristan muttered, but I clearly heard him.

"Thank you, I haven't noticed," I said back.

"So why are you here, Noah?" Tea asked.

"I am here to give this back," I said as I pulled out from my pocket Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, making Yugi's eyes go wide once more. "What my sister did wasn't right, so I came to apologize on her behalf."

"Thank you," Yugi said as she came over and took the card out of my hand.

"Has he been let out of the hospital yet?" I asked.

"He is still being kept for a few days for observation," Yugi replied.

"I see," I replied. "Well, I will be going then."

"Wait," Yugi said, catching me, and I was pretty sure the others by surprise. "We just opened up packs and made some new decks… would you like to stay and Duel?"

"…Sure," I answered. "For some reason, I brought my deck along." There actually was a reason; I had expected Joey to challenge me to a duel for honor or something stupid like that. "I modified it recently, so I haven't gotten a chance to try it."

Yeah, the cards I had ordered had arrived last night alongside some of the other materials I had requested in my research into Shadow Magic and Alchemy, Alchemy that hopefully could be used to fix my current size issue, at least get above the 150cm mark, and also fix a certain other issue, as my stunted puberty had let other parts of my body not developed very well.

"When I will be the first one, I've finally gotten cards that make for the best deck you can't possibly beat," Joey declared. "I am gonna got straight to the nationals with this thing!"

Yeah, that was pretty soon, and that was going to be my ticket to Duelist Kingdom. "We will see about that."

And soon enough, the table was clear, and Joey and I sat across each other.

"Duel!"
