CHAPTER 13
As it happens Cesca was up most of the night being sick. It seemed that every time she got back into bed and just dozed off to sleep she would wake up and have the urge to be sick. Luckily for Cesca she had her Jonah by her side all night.
It had finally reached 7:30 after such a long night Cesca was exhausted and Jonah was pretty tired too.
Cesca decided that she should probably phone Chris and tell him that she wasn't feeling too good.
Cesca was so exhausted she couldn't seem to contain her emotions and was crying, which instantly worried Chris.
"Cesca, is everything okay"
"No not really Chris I'm exhausted … I've been up most of the night throwing up"
"Ohh you should of rang I could of come and looked after you"
"That's very kind of you but I didn't want to keep anyone awake"
"Do you want to just stay here today … I mean we've got enough staff to look after everyone so you can just stay here and rest"
"Thanks Chris I could really do with the sleep"
"Yeah I think it's probably best … I don't want you missing out on the rest of the trip"
"Actually Chris, could you do me a favour … When I was up during the night I could hear Jonah up and about and it sounded like he was also throwing up so could you go and check and see if he's okay"
"Yeah yeah off course I'll pop up before I go down to breakfast so I'll be about 15 minutes"
Cesca hung up the phone and went back through into the room to tell Jonah what was happening.
"I told Chris what has happened and he's letting me stay here today"
"Aww Ces that's great … You'll be able to get a bit more sleep"
"I also mentioned that I had heard you throwing up while I was up during the night so Chris is coming to check on you in about 15 minutes"
"Right I'll have to dust of my acting skills" Jonah said laughing
"I'll go wait in my room and once Chris has been I'll come back"
Not long after Cesca left there was a knock on Jonah's door.
Jonah went to open the door not before flushing the toilet.
"Hi Jonah are you okay … Miss Montoya mentioned that she heard you throwing up during the night"
"Yeah I have ... I dunno what's the matter I've spent most of my night in the bathroom"
That wasn't a lie he had spent most of the night in the bathroom but with Cesca.
"Do you still feel sick?"
"Yeah I've just been sick and my tummy is doing flips"
"Do you want to stay here today and rest so then hopefully you'll be okay tomorrow"
"Yes please Sir if that's okay it's just I don't think I could make the journey or enjoy the day"
"That's fine if you need anything throughout the day Miss Montoya is also staying here today"
"Okay thanks Sir… I think I'm just gonna go back to bed and try and get some sleep"
"Yeah good idea"
"Enjoy Paris Sir"
"Thanks Jonah get well soon"
Chris left the room and then went next door to Cesca's room.
"Hiya Chris"
"How you feeling Cesca"
"A little better I'm just absolutely exhausted"
"I'm not surprised"
"Did you speak to Jonah?"
"Yeah I've just been to see him and he's also been up all night"
"Oh dear is he okay"
"Yeah he's okay he said he's just gonna try and get some more sleep"
"Ahh right"
"I said that if he needed anything that you were also staying here today"
"Okay" Chris was just about to leave "And Chris thanks for letting me stay here today I really appreciate it"
"No problem Cesca I don't want you to miss out on the rest of the holiday"
"Thanks … Anyway enjoy Paris it's beautiful"
"Thanks … If you need anything during the day just ring me"
"I will thanks"
"I'll also ring you when we are on our way back … It'll probably be quite late"
"That's fine … See you later"
Cesca waited 5 minutes before she went back into Jonah's room.
"Can we go back to sleep for a couple of hours"
"Of course we can baby … I'm just going to text Ronan and tell him I'm not going on the trip today"
Cesca and Jonah got back into bed together and went back to sleep to make up for all the sleep they lost during the night.
