CHAPTER 14
Jonah woke up before Cesca so decided he would go to the bathroom and have a shower and get ready so he could leave Cesca in peace and let her sleep for a bit longer.
20 minutes later Jonah reappeared from the bathroom just as Cesca had woken up.
"How are you feeling babe?"
"I don't feel sick anymore but I've got a bit of cramping"
"Are you up for going out yet"
"Yeah I want to make the most out of today"
"Do you fancy going to Casey's Corner for lunch?"
"Not really, I went there yesterday for dinner … Shall we go to Au Chalet de la Marionnette … They do the best chicken and chips"
"Yeah sounds good"
Cesca was ready and they had now begun the walk from the hotel to the park.
Today was different to every other day because they could hold hands and not have to worry constantly about someone seeing them together.
"Can we do all of the shopping today"
"Off course we can darling"
"I know it's a bit early but I want to get a few things for the baby because some of the stuff here is so adorable"
"I totally agree and plus today is the only day we can really shop together without it being suspicious so I think it's okay if we go a bit crazy"
"There's so many things that I want" Cesca said laughing
"Just buy whatever you want you should treat yourself"
"Thanks Jonah … I'm so excited for today"
"Yeah me too … What ride shall we go on first?"
"Pirates of the Caribbean"
"Sounds good to me"
As soon as they had made it into the park they went straight to that ride and luckily the queue wasn't very big so it meant that they didn't have to wait very long at all.
When they came to get off the ride there was no queue so they were asked if they wanted to go around again, and of course, they said yes.
When they got off the ride they went to look at the photo. Cesca ended up buying the photo as they were the only ones on the boat and it was a nice picture of the two of them. As well as this Cesca and Jonah bought a few bits and pieces from the shop.
After they had been on a few more rides they decided it was time for lunch. After all, it was nearly quarter to one.
"Jonah you have got to try the chicken and chips you are gonna love it"
"If you're recommending it then it must be good"
They made their way over to get food. Cesca went and sat down whilst Jonah waited in the queue to get the food.
It wasn't long before Jonah brought the food and they sat and enjoyed their dinner together.
"Ces I have to say, you were right, this chicken is amazing"
"I told you it was good," She said, winking at him.
"I hope you don't mind but I've booked us a table at the restaurant at our hotel tonight at half 8 as I thought we could stay watch the parade then do some shopping on Main Street then go back have food then come back later on and do some shopping in the village"
"No no Jonah it's fine it sounds like a great plan … And it means that we can drop off all the stuff we buy during the day in our room"
Cesca was just about to go to the toilet when her phone rang.
"Hi Chris … How's Paris?"
"Yeah it's really nice here, the views are picturesque … How are you feeling?"
"Yeah I'm feeling a lot better now that I've had some sleep"
"Oh that's good … Have you heard from Jonah?"
"Erm Chris can I ring you back in like 5 minutes I'm just getting something to eat"
Of course she was lying to her and Jonah had already had their dinner.
"Ces what's the matter?"
"I didn't know what I was gonna say … But I also really need the bathroom"
Cesca went off to the bathroom and got a huge shock when she noticed there were spots of blood on her pants. She instantly began to panic.
Cesca looked really worried when she got back to the table.
"Ces what's up?"
"Jonah we need to go to the hospital"
"What … Why … What's the matter?"
"There was blood and I've had cramps which can only mean one thing" Cesca began to cry
"Ces everything is going to be alright we are gonna go to the hospital and get this sorted … Do you want me too ring Jade"
"Yes please"
Cesca gave Jonah her phone and he quickly dialled Jade's number.
"Hi Jade, it's Jonah"
"Oh hi Jonah, is everything alright?"
"No Cesca has had some spotting and has had cramps all day and she's really scared. Can you meet us at the hospital?"
"No, me and my husband will come and pick you both up now … We'll be about 20 minutes and will meet you in the main car park"
"Thanks Jade … You're a star … See you soon"
"Ces … Jade and her husband are coming to get us from the big car park" Jonah Took hold of Cesca's hand and lightly squeezed it saying "I'm not going anywhere" which helped calm Cesca down a little
"I need to ring Chris Back"
Cesca took some deep breaths before she rang Chris back.
"Chris, I'm going to the hospital"
"Cesca … What happened?"
"I think there is something wrong with the baby"
"Are you on your own?"
She was gonna have to tell him Jonah was with her. He was going to ask anyway.
"No Jonah is actually here … We were getting some food"
"Can you put him on please"
Cesca began to panic even more.
Cesca passed the phone over to Jonah.
"Hi Sir"
"Hi Jonah are you alright now?"
"Yes I am fine now Sir, I haven't been sick since I've seen you this morning so that's good"
"That's good then" Chris quickly changed the topic of conversation "Do you need me to come back from Paris?"
"No Sir you don't have to Miss Montoya has her two close friends taking her to the hospital"
"Okay if you're sure and make sure you look after her … Could you pass me back to Miss Montoya?"
"Yeah here she is"
"Are you sure you don't mind Jonah going to the hospital with you … I can come back if you need"
"No you don't need to come back Chris you enjoy your day … Jonah will be fine I'm going with my two close friends and Jonah can just sit outside with Andy"
"Alright as long as you are sure"
"I am … Honestly don't worry"
"Okay Cesca … Look after yourself and get Jonah to ring me as soon as you know anything"
"Okay I will … Thanks Chris"
They had gathered all their stuff together and were now making their way to the car park.
"I don't really want you to wait outside when we get there"
"Don't worry I am not going to leave your side … Everything is going to be alright you know"
"Thank you"
"What are you saying thank you for?"
"Because you always know what to say to make me calmer"
"Aww come here"
Jonah pulled Cesca in for a hug and kissed her.
