"Itsuka-chan will probably hate you after this." Tsuyu commented as she and Minoru hid in the shadows.

"That's if she doesn't hate me already." The shorter boy replied, his sweat rolling down the back of his neck. The two were carefully watching Kendo and Reiko tensely standing around, waiting around for something fast to hit them hard.

The shorter boy theorized that his partner is more likely to fly at the members of 1B, since Izuku had flew at 1B twice as many times as they had 1A. And after some testing, with 1A standing on one side of the roof and 1B and Shinso standing at the other, Izuku came swooping down on 1B 4 times compared to 1A's 2. So with that knowledge, they had Kendo and Reiko stand around as bait. Minoru, Tsuyu, Shinso, and Uraraka would intercept once he appears.

But you may ask… How will they catch a person that's buzzing around like panicked fly?

"Here he comes…" Tsuyu said as the sound of Izuku's screaming approached. Minoru looked up and saw his partner flying towards Kendo and Reiko, who were getting ready to intercept. This was going to be the make or break moment. All the girls of 1B have to do, once they lured Izuku in, was slow him down, even a moment would be enough for the next step to happen. The green haired boy quickly grew closer as he screamed for them to get out of the way.

"Now!" Kendo shouted as her right hand grew. When Izuku was but a couple of meters away, several dozen bits of objects and debris clumped together around Izuku. Reiko was seen visibly struggling and straining to keep the clump from falling apart to the erratic motions of Izuku. She was then supported by Kendo, who had grabbed the clump with her massive hand and further stilled Izuku.

"Our turn!" Tsuyu shouted as she shot her tongue out towards the clump. The coating of objects around Izuku shifted slightly, allowing the amphibious girl's tongue through to wrap around his torso. Shinso's capture scarf flew in from another direction and bound Izuku in a similar way. Now the green haired boy was further stilled.

"Freckles! Are you okay!?" Shinso asked simultaneously with Uraraka. Since the fine tuning on Shinso's mask was damaged from Minoru's attack earlier, it cannot replicate the girl's voice 100%. But they all found out that Shinso's Quirk can still trigger if someone responds to him while he speaks in perfect tandem with someone.

However, despite this Izuku was not responding to the question.

"No. 18!? Can you hear me!?" Shinso and Uraraka asked, again in perfect unison. But once more, they got no response from the green haired boy. Minoru gritted his teeth as he realized his friend was so trapped in his panicking head that he can no longer hear them. Izuku proceeded to shake uncontrollably in his ball of objects, blasting away the layer of debris. Luckily, before the green haired boy could slip out and drag Tsuyu and Shinso off, Kendo grabbed his legs and Reiko grabbed her classmate.

There was just enough weight to prevent Izuku from flying off, but now all of them were struggling to keep the man still. It really was like he was possessed and they exorcists trying to get a demonic force out of his body. Minoru was pushing against Tsuyu's body, doing his best to keep her from leaving the surface she was sticking to.

"Mineta-chan… We're not going to last like this… Go to Midoriya-chan… Talk to him." Tsuyu said, her tongue straining to keep her classmate still.

"You sure?" Minoru asked, looking into the determined eyes of his amphibious classmate. She simply nodded and gestured to Minoru's head. He nodded back and Tsuyu grabbed hairballs off his head, one for each hand, and stuck herself to the ground the moment Minoru stepped aside. This made Minoru quickly rush out towards Izuku, threw a hairball down, and bounced straight towards him. He immediately clung to his partner and began shouting to him.

"Dude! It's me! Listen to my voice!"

"Why is this happening!? This shouldn't be happening! I've been getting better at controlling One for All! I've been working so hard! Now this happens!? What's going on!? I don't understand!" Izuku muttered to himself, repeating those same words over and over like a mantra. Minoru tried again, shouting into Izuku's face this time, but that wasn't working either. The shorter boy didn't want to smack him out of it, not knowing what effect that would have.

That's when Uraraka tackled Izuku's side, no doubt having the same idea that Minoru did. But despite now having 2 people clinging to him, the green haired boy still hadn't come out of his panicked stupor. Uraraka looked to the shorter boy now, unsure what to do next at this point. But her guess is as good as his, leaving them stuck on a flying hazard that was growing more and more fidgety. So at this point…

"Screw it, I'm punching him!" Minoru shouted, balling his hand into a fist after securing his grip. And as if on instinct, Izuku's flight began shaking wildly back and forth to throw off his riders. Minoru had pretty good experience with this… But even then, his grip was slowly loosening and almost got thrown off. However, Uraraka's hand managed to grab a piece of his cape, restoring enough of the shorter boy's stability to refresh his hold on Izuku.

So with that, Minoru stopped hesitating and just went for it.

"Snap out of it you idiot!"

The small fist struck the side of the green haired boy's face, causing him to flinch and his floating to get even wilder. However, the way he blinked told Minoru and Uraraka that he had come back to his senses.

"Huh!? Minoru-kun!? Uraraka-san!? Why are you clinging to me!? It's not safe!"

"Shinso-kun! Now!" Uraraka shouted, turning to the general student who was struggling to stay upright against Izuku's movement.

"Midoriya! What is your dream!?" He shouted. Without a hint of hesitation, the green haired boy answered with all his might and energy.

"To be the greatest hero duo with my partner!"

And just like that, Izuku stopped buzzing around. He simply floated there listlessly as the 3 of them were slowly pulled down to terra firma. Minoru quickly glued his partner's costume, specifically the back as only the gloves and boots had the anti-stick properties, to the ground the moment Shinso and Tsuyu pulled their restraints from him. Still, everyone waited with baited breath as Uraraka gave a gentle slap to Izuku's face.

"Huh? Uraraka-san? Get away from me! It's too dangerous!" Izuku shouted, trying to move. But he quickly found out that he had been adhered to the ground and unable to move. Looking closer, Minoru noticed that his partner had a broken leg and arm, not to mention countless other scrapes, bruises, and injuries. He had been plowing through several kilos of concrete and steel after all...

"You're fine now, we've got–!" Uraraka began before barely dodging a grab from Kendo. Minoru jumped out of the way of Shinso's capture scarf and took cover when several pieces of debris flew his way. Oh great, 1A is 2 members down and 1B has saw no further reason to continue their truce now that the problem was resolved.

"Jackasses! Can't you give us a minute!?" Minoru shouted, drawing his baton as Shinso cut off his escape route.

"Sorry senpai, but the problem been dealt with. It's your turn now." Shinso replied, clearly smirking underneath his mask as he readied a kick. However, before anymore attacks could be thrown out… Aizawa appeared behind Shinso and grabbed him by the back of the collar like he was a kitten. In tired hero's other hand was his capture scarf, binding Kendo, and his glowing eyes were aimed at Reiko.

"Alright, that's enough. Due to the unexpected event, we've all decided to end the match here. Let's clean up and head on back" Aizawa said, everyone staring at him in disbelief of his words. The fight was over? Just like that?

"Don't look at me like that, it was a unanimous decision. Unless you object to this?" He asked sternly and menacingly, sending a chill up everyone's spine. Minoru immediately shook his head, knowing how this will all play out should they voice their objections. So with all that said, Minoru went over to Tsuyu first to get the hairballs off her first. He'll get his partner out later, mostly since Izuku is in no condition to move at this point.

"What a day... Even if 1A won this whole exercise, I doubt they'll be focusing on that once we all come together." Minoru thought, freeing Tsuyu from the pavement.

"Midoriya, what the heck was that? You were actually flying!" Sero asked the moment Team 5 of 1A and 1B returned.

Izuku was a little pale and sluggish, a lingering effect of Recovery Girl's healing, and needed Uraraka's shoulder to lean on. However, the questions seemed to have turned the green haired boy even paler, making him resemble a short birch tree. Minoru knew this was coming, but he couldn't really come up with a plausible explanation. How can you? When your friend suddenly starts flying around and crashing into things, a proper explanation is the least of your concerns.

"Yeah, what was all that about? I thought your Quirk was super strength. Do you have a second quirk?" Mina asked, placing a hand on her chin as she narrowed her eyes at Izuku. Minoru looked over at Bakugou, who was looking back at him, both of them having the same question dancing around in their heads.

How do we get out of this one?

"W-Well… I just… Uhhh… How do I explain this?" Izuku muttered, fumbling around for an explaination.

"What is there to explain? What happened makes complete sense to me." Todoroki said out of nowhere, his usual level of enthusiasm absolutely destroying everyone's sanity. This included Bakugou and Minoru, who had just dropped their jaws and turned to one another again to express said shock.

"It does!? What part of all that made sense to you dude!?" Kaminari asked, his brain already frying for the second time today.

"Well, Todoroki-san IS the only one of us with a dual-natured Quirk. So he'd know what Midoriya-san just been through." Yaoyorozu commented.

"Then I think I speak for all of us and would like you to explain all this, Todoroki-san. Please?" Kouda said, nervously raising his hand. So with a nod, their dual-colored classmate began going through his thoughts on the matter.

"Do you remember Inasa from Shiketsu? The guy with the wind? He's able to fly by manipulating the air currents towards his feet. And whenever Midoriya activates his powers, the air seems to shift around him in the same way. He's also been working on how to refine his air bullets of his. So Midoriya being able to fly around like that is just an evolution of those two things. It must be a recent development though, since he didn't know he could do that until now."

"Then why was his first flight so wild and uncontrollable? Shouldn't new powers be really weak when they first show up?" Hagakure asked, the way her words sounded suggesting a head tilt.

"Midoriya always said he was a late-bloomer with a powerful Quirk. So any extensions of it will require some work to get it under control, like he did with his original super strength. Besides, he could just be stressed. I know my fire side flares up whenever I'm feeling particularly frustrated." Todoroki answered, the 'facts' coming to him as naturally as he breathed. A hum of understanding and agreement was let out by everyone in 1A but Bakugou, Minoru, and Izuku, who were silent and confused.

"Y-Yeah! I had a really weird dream last night and I couldn't go back to sleep… So I guess I'm feeling a bit off today." Izuku said with an awkward laugh, his eyes staring at an arbitrary spot on the ground as he scratched the back of his head. Aoyama began nodding to that explanation before his own response came out.

"Oh I completely understand you Monsieur Midoriya! Do you remember that quiz Ectoplasm-sensei gave us 2 weeks ago? It ruined the taste of breakfast and I wasn't right as rain for the rest of the day!"

"Oh don't remind me… I completely bombed that thing!" Jirou said, rubbing her temples at the memory.

"He did drop that on us the day after we learned the material…" Shouji added in a defeated tone. And as the conversation steered towards how their teachers can be completely sadistic with their teaching methods… Bakugou and Minoru looked back at each other in total disbelief. The shorter boy didn't need to be talking to his explosive nemesis to fully know what his response to all this was. It was written all over his face.

"We did not fucking get away with that."

"We just did dude. Todoroki did all the work for us."

"Alright, that's enough smack talking the people who decide your grades. Let's talk about Match 5 and what the two teams did during the fight and the crisis that followed. There are plenty of things that could be learned from both those situations." Aizawa announced, catching the attention of the two Hero classes again. Team 5 of 1A and 1B, as well as Shinso, stepped forward and waited patiently for the critique of their pro Hero teachers.

"Mineta, let's start with you. Your overall performance was solid. You made great use of your environment to control your opponents' movements, and you kept a cool head despite having multiple enemies tail you. However, you tend to develop tunnel vision when committing to the coup de grâce, not checking if Monoma was nearby before launching yourself at Shinso was what got you caught. You also could've handled Midoriya's situation with more finesse and confidence. We taught you the EMT procedures, use it. If you have to get physical, warn them first but don't hesitate. Time is not a luxury rescuers have." Aizawa said, pointing to the shorter boy. Minoru nodded at his former master, even if he already knew where he failed and why.

It was good if someone else reiterates it so he won't make the same mistakes again.

"Asui, Uraraka, whether it was fighting in a team or on your own, you fought to your strengths and took steps to rob your enemies of theirs. However, like Mineta, you got short-sighted when one of your teammates was in trouble. Asui, was there really a need for you to stick yourself to the ground with Mineta's Quirk?" Aizawa continued, looking at to the amphibious girl.

"No…" Tsuyu replied simply.

"And Uraraka, you should've smacked some sense into Midoriya when it was clear Mineta was hesitating." Aizawa continued, looking to the gravity defying girl.

"Yeah… I should've…" Uraraka mumbled, looking away from their teacher.

"Midoriya, while I have no complaints of your combat… We really need to talk about what happened to you. It is a terrifying thing to lose control over your Quirk, especially for a late-bloomer like you. But you're not a small child; you're a student of UA who's been through several extraordinary circumstances. Even if you do not have control of the situation, remain calm and work with your team. Panicking would only create more problems for rescuers." Aizawa said, finally turning to Midoriya.

He didn't say anything and just nodded to those words, already having internalized the lesson beforehand.

"Shinso... For your first foray into Hero training, you performed exceptionally well. While the timing of your attacks could still use some work, you kept up with your allies and enemies. Whether it was tracking them down, or engaging in battle, you used all you had at your disposal. And even when Midoriya was in trouble, you wisely dropped the match and teamed up with 1A." Aizawa said, looking to his newest protégé.

"Thank you, sir. But there are some things I could work on." Shinso said, shaking his head.

"Do tell. Where do you think you went wrong?"

"I was slow to pick up on how 1A was avoiding my vocal tricks. I literally had to stand next to Mineta to finally get it. Also, when it came to fighting someone with the same combat style as me, I am always steps behind. If it wasn't for Monoma, I would've taken that blow from Mineta unprotected and that would've been lights out." Shinso answered, pointing towards the shorter boy.

"I recommend just running. We're not built for direct combat. So if we lose the advantage, we're screwed until we do something to get it back." Mineta said before Aizawa could respond to the general student.

"Correct. Heroes like us require stealth and subterfuge to make short work of our enemies. And while we can hold up in a direct confrontation for a bit, it's not a situation you want to stay in. Remember, you'll die once you run out of cards. So play them well and know when to fold. Don't be too bummed out about your fight with Mineta though. He's far more experienced in out-thinking his enemies. It will be something you'll be able to do too in time." Aizawa said, nodding to the shorter boy's recommendation.

"Yes sir!"

"Anything you want to comment on about my class's performance?" Aizawa asked as he turned to Vlad, who had just finished handing his critique and advice to his students.

"No. You?"

"Did you talk to Monoma about the blow to his–?"

"That's already a lesson engraved into his body… There's no need to further shame him with obvious advice…" Vlad replied with a slight shudder. Aizawa simply gave a stoic hum of agreement to that before turning back to Shinso. Minoru could see that there was news hanging on the lips of his former master and sincerely hoped it was what he thought it was.

"While we still need some deliberating with the other teachers… Just based on your performance today, it's incredibly likely that you, Shinso Hitoshi, will be joining the Hero course in your second year. You have what it takes to stand with the heroes-in-training you see here." Aizawa said, his usual deadpan expression giving way to the smallest of proud smiles. Shinso just stared at the scraggly teacher, unsure if what he heard was actually real. But with a single hand, so full of emotion, from Minoru, he was able to respond.

"I'll do my best!"

"We have yet to decide whether it will be Class A or B… But once the reviews are in, you'll be the first to know." Vlad said, patting Shinso on the back. The general student, now waiting hero-in-training, just nodded to that as he did his best to contain the tears of joy he was no doubt shedding. There was much rejoicing amongst the two Hero classes, both of them excited at the prospect of another comrade.

"You made it man, through the golden gates like the rest of us." Minoru said with a smirk, walking in front of his possible future classmate.

"I have you to thank senpai… If you didn't tell me about Aizawa-sensei, I would've still been stuck in the general department loathing you. So thank you." He replied, looking to the shorter boy with an honest smile.

"It's no problem. But I doubted Aizawa would've left someone like you in obscurity, he would've picked you up if you didn't go to him first." Minoru replied with a shrug.

"Still, you really changed my life. I'm in your debt senpai."

"Then repay it become a spectacular Hero. Also, why do you keep calling me that?" Minoru asked, only to get paralyzed right after. Shinso smirked and went off to join the mess that was brewing between Monoma and Bakugou, both of them claiming that their class would win the next, escalating number of matches.

"Because you're my senpai in the Eraserhead School of Stealth!"

And that has been Chapter 125!

I thought about how the different Quirks sealed inside One for All behaved. And wouldn't it make more sense if the Quirks were unlocked from predecessor to predecessor instead of randomly? So it'll go from Nana, to En, to Daigoro, and so forth. This also makes it easier to explain how it's possible for Izuku to have a 'second' Quirk, since the effects of One for All activating, the shifting of the air, could be used to mask Float's true nature.

But what do you think? Leave your questions, comments, and concerns in the usual place.

So with all that said...

Until Next Time. T1.
