Mineta stood silently amidst the forrest, the countless variety of trees swaying gently in the breeze, the smell of ash and smoke filling his nostrils as he quietly meditated.

The hero-in-training breathed heavily, his lungs heaving as his eyes were wide open beneath his visor, the sensation of the cold metal-infused nanofibers that made up his new hero costume doing little to soothe his racing mind.

"What... happened... with my... quirk?" Mineta asked himself, his every word emphasized by breathless pants.

He examined his now treebark covered arms, his strategic mind racing to find a possible answer to his question, the events that led him to be lost in this fake forresty-mountain range running through his head.

He then suddenly snapped his treebark coated fingers, finally reaching an answer he desperately needed. "My quirk is sentient AND has a fear of fire!" Mineta shouted, holding his arms high above his head as he jumped with joy.

"Todoroki-san!" He shouted as he almost forgot about his partner in this test.

Mineta then realized something that could risk both himself and Todorki failing. His quirk's fear of fire. However, Mineta's mind flashed back on the two occasions in which his quirk's fear of fire made itself known and a single similarty gave the short student the riskiest possible idea.

Blinfdold himself

So, Mineta took action, using his quirk to turn his eyes into a strip of treebark. His vision growing dark. Then, the short green-thumbed boy bolted towards the echoeing sound of Endeavor's voice, using the vines that sprouted from his back to weave through the countless trees

With Todoroki

Todoroki glared up at his father, his hands clutching the sword made of ice, the once melted blade reforming with the use of his right side.

"Shoto... You are alone. Your teammate has fled. Surrender now, and I will spare him your fate." Endeavor shouted, his voice deafining despite the walls of roaring flames surrounding them like an arena made of fire.

Todoroki's glare harshened in response, refusing to acknowledge his father's venomous words.

"Do you have nothing to say to your father? The man who trained you to be better? The man who raised you to be stronger than your weak siblings?" Endeavor spat back, his voice laced with venom and despisement.

Todoroki's expression grew angrier, his love fore his siblings causing his rationality to leave his mind. The mere idea of his father taking his role of a villain seriously no longer a possibility within Todoroki's mind.

Fueled with rage, Todoroki used all of his might to send a tidal wave of ice towards his father, leading the charge with his icicle blade held outward, rage blinding Todoroki.

"AAAAAAAAGH!!!!!" Todoroki shouted, pure rage bursting from his body.

Endeavor simply smirked, and with a simple wave of his hand, created such an overwheling surge of Hellflame, that it both melted and turned to steam, all of the ice made by Todoroki, and sent the boy flying at high speed, hitting a tree dead-center, the bark having been snapped and splintered from the force of Todoroki's landing.

Todoroki was knocked completely out, the boy's several gashes, burns, and injures growing red from iritation.

"Hmmph. Pathetic. I thought I raised you better." Endeavor spat out, floating mere inches off the ground, a couple of feet away from his son.

Endeavor the flew up high above the vast training ground as Prinicipal Nedzu's voice rang out, "Shoto Todoroki has been eliminated. One Student remaining."

Endeavor simply huffed in annoyance, the flames from his quirk crackling as though to emphasize his anger.

"Now where is the thorny coward?" Endeavor asked himself before his wuirk burst to life, the flames on his back roaring as they shot him through the air as Endeavor began scaning the area for Mineta.

With Mineta

Mineta's breath came out in pants, having hesrd the fight from behind a towering oak tree. The shorter boy had to think of some kind of solution to Endeavor.

However, before Mineta's train of thought could continue, he clutched his head as a loud voice that he immediately recognized echoed through his mind. "Where the hell is this kid? He must be somewhere he-" Endeavor's voice soon cut out as the sound of fire crackling grew loud before the sounds fizzled out.

Mineta felt one of his vine tendrils resting up against a nearby tree right as Endeavor's voice echoed once more. "There are far too many trees here! I don't know how that rodent manages to afford all of this crap." Endeavors voice faded out as Endeavor spoke until it was silent again.

Mineta then reached a conclusion that surprised him.

His five senses can be extended through plant-life as long as he's touching it.

An idea then popped into Mineta's head and took action on it. The short boy used is vine tendrils to dig, his body spinning like a drill as the vines carried him below. Using a fifth vine tendril he had dragging above him, Mineta extended his senses through the entire forrest, which granted him a mental map of almost the entire training ground.

Using his mental map, Mineta made a beeline for Endeavor, tracking the Flame Hero like a missle. As Mineta grew closer, he utilized a strategy given to him by Midoriya while in one of Yuuei's many quirk gyms.

"Hey Midoriya?" Mineta called out to his classmate, his many vine tendrils lifing countless weights.

"Yeah Mineta-san?" Midoriya responded, lifting his gaze fro where he was taking notes in his Hero Journal.

"Whatcha writing in there?" Mineta asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

"Oh I'm just taking notes on what ways your quirk could be used." Midoriya enthusiasticly responded, turning his notebook around vto show Mineta two pages filled to the brim with notes, observations, and hypothesises pertaining to Mineta's quirk.

"Really? Mind telling me what you've got written down already?" The shorter boy inquired, holding a finger to his chin.

Pointing to a sketch of what Mineta assumed was vine tendrils several times larger than what Mineta normally used bursting from the ground, while surrounded by withered looking plants, Izuku happily gleamed, "I've theorized that your quirk could absorb the energy from plants and use it to allow you to create even bigger plants from your body!"

Using his vine tendrils, Mineta absorbed the energy from every tree he burrowed under, picking up speed as he grew closer to his target.

Soon enough, Mineta was right under Endeavor, and using his vines, burst out from the ground, shooting through the sky as a deafening rumble followd from his emergence from the ground.

Endeavor turned around as Mineta's vine tendrils grew to the size of skyscrapers, crashing down on Endeavor with such surprising speed, Endeavor was caught off gaurd.

The tendrils pummeled into Endravor, his flames snuffed out from the force as Endeavor was slammed to the ground, creating a massive crater from the impact, sending trees flying and blowing a massive thick cloud of dust up into the air.

Endeavor wheezed as he stood up on trembling legs, the air having been knocked out of his lungs. The burly pro-hero clutched his side in pain, swearing one of his ribs were cracked.

"I shouldn't have underestimated that twerp." Endeavor spoke to himself, a scowl on his face.

However, before Endeavor could fully recover from the sudden attack, he heard a loud click from behind him, and found his free hand had been cuffed.

Principal Nedzu's voice then rang out through the mangled traing grounds, signaling the end of the exam, "Mineta and Todoroki have passed the exam. You may return to the bus that took you here and return to the Exam Observation Building for a review on your performance."
