Inside of the cave in the mountain Banjo and Kazooie stumbled upon the cycle plant. But before they could grab it...

"Hoo hoo, howdy doo!"

"Oh no not this guy again." complained Kazooie.

"That's right, I'm here to give you three riddles. Guess them all and you may have the plant... but first..."

After Bop stopped rambling he snapped his fingers, turning the cave into a game show.

"Woah, this looks fun." said Banjo.

"Riddle number one! I may look small, but I'm nine feet tall. I'm not that wide, except inside. What am I?" asked Bop.

"A map?" answered Banjo.

"Ding ding ding! Right o tight o! Next riddle. I have a shoe, but it can't be tied, because I have no feet. What am I?" asked Bop.

"A horse?" answered Kazooie.

"That's it! Time for the final riddle diddle! I often play, but have no life. What am I?"

"A musical instrument." answered Banjo confidently.

"Yes, you have won! What have you won? You won a fabulous trip to..."

"Can we just have the plant already?!?" squawked Kazooie.

"Fine, take it." said Bop, letting Banjo pick up the cycle plant.

"We got it!" cheered Banjo.

"Not for long." said a familiar voice.

"Grunty!" yelled Banjo and Kazooie in unison as they turned around.

"That's right." laughed Grunty "And I have a special treat for you as soon as you step out of the cave."

"I don't think we want to know what it is." gulped Banjo.

"Oh but you have no choice." chuckled Gruntilda "Now cower BEFORE MY TREMENDOUS VOICE!!!"

The mountain began to shake as Gruntilda flew outside. Banjo ran out as fast as he could as snow came hurling down from above.

"Wait for me heehee!" screamed Bop, escaping the cave before being buried.

"Now what do we do?" asked Banjo "We can't outrun this!"

"Hey you two."

As Banjo ran he stop right in front of Sleddy who was heading up the mountain.

"I never did get a chance to thank you guys. Need a lift?"

"Certainly." said Banjo, climbing onto Sleddy without any second thoughts.

"Hold onto your hats." said Sleddy.

"But we don't have hats." said Banjo before Sleddy took off downhill "Woah!"

Sleddy, as fast as he could go, swooped down the side of the the mountain like a flash. But dangerous enemies awaited near the foot of the mountain. Evil snowballs rolled after them as they rode past, the snowballs bounced upwards, and hovered above the heroes.

"Uh oh!" said Banjo, seeing a big giant snowball coming down from above.

Sleddy swerved out of the way, causing the snowball to fall into a hole and get covered by the avalanche, but there was still one more. The snowball attempted the same thing, bounced up into the air, but this time landing in front of the sled, who rode off his back and into the sky.

"Weee!" cheered Sleddy, before crashing down onto the snow again.

"That was fun." said Banjo.

"Yeah, if want a end your life sooner." joked Kazooie.

"That was a blast!" cheered Sleddy "If you guys need anymore help, be sure to call on your old pal Sleddy."

"Hopefully that won't be too soon." said Kazooie.

"Kazooie!" said Banjo, before walking off and bidding Sleddy goodbye.

As Banjo and Kazooie made their way to the witch's house, the Abominable Snow Monster watched from above the mountaintop.

"There they are." said Gruntilda to the Snow Monster "Send your snowballs after them so they don't get too far."

The Abominable Snow Monster picked up a horn and blew into it, alerting his snowball army.

"Raugh." growled the monster, pointing at Banjo and Kazooie.
