"Argh!" A man exclaimed painfully, trying desperately to remove his barred hand off the arm rest. He was having trouble keeping a sharp mind. One side of his head was sweating while the other felt very woozy. Three of his fingers were broken and twisted out of proportion. He was surrounded by a dark room with only a single brightened lightbulb hanging over his head, no sign of any exits.

In front of him crouched the evil pro villain Deku, his hair even more disheveled than usual and his outfit burnt and torn. His red tie looked like it was about to rip in two.

"That wasn't very nice, sir~." Deku practically sung to the bound man while scanning his hands, thinking of which one to handle next. "Didn't your parents ever tell you it's not good to steal from your peers~?"

"Go to hell, you little psycho! You're not the only one who's gotta eat, you know!" The man foolishly snapped.

"Tsk tsk tsk." Deku clicked his tongue, choosing the man's ring finger and forcing it straight up. The man let out another loud yowl of pain as a sickening crack echoed in the room. "It's pretty silly to steal from someone you know is perfectly capable of succeeding in vengeance."

"Fuck!" The man exclaimed painfully as so much pain radiated from his hands.

"Now now, no need for such vulgar language~." Deku said. "Just tell me what you did with the cash, and maybe I'll let you live."

The man noticeably stiffened his muscles, gritting his teeth as he did so. He was probably trying to activate his quirk, but was unable to thanks to the platform and cuffs Deku built. No way would he be able to use any quirk at all without turning his inventions off. Deku let out an unstable giggle, just relishing the thought of it.

Thick saliva hit Deku's cheek, the foreign liquid running down his face. The man's eyes widened in pure discomfort-the young villain didn't even flinch. A terrifying grin appeared, Deku's eyes widening manically.

The man's screams echoed from down the halls of Deku's hideout.

"What a shame." Deku said lightheartedly, his blood-stained face dripping as he harshly removed the blade of his favorite knife from the man's blood-soaked chest. He grabbed one of the guy's unbroken fingers and twisted it to be sure the man was dead. When there was no sign of life, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. "Get the body."

Deku left the room, allowing his henchmen to dispose of the lifeless corpse while he disappeared elsewhere.

What a shame, indeed. He needed that money. That was supposed to be his stash for a very special someone. Someone he wanted to lavish with such expensive and beautiful gifts. Unfortunately an enemy thug had the guts to steal from him and hid the money quite well, admittedly. Deku was debating on whether he should hunt for it or not. If for any other reason, it might've not been worth the risk. But that sack contained a huge amount and Deku was just too head over heels for who it was for. He knew of a few areas the guy could've hidden it. He didn't get very far, after all.

Deku stepped on the balcony of the dirty building, looking out at the darkened parts of the city before looking up. The moon was full, glowing brightly while the stars sparkled and made the sky look more diamondy. The cool breeze would've felt great if his bloodied attire didn't feel so uncomfortable. But he didn't care. He closed his eyes and breathed in the mixture of death and fresh air, smiling as he let it out through his mouth. The villain started to think deeply about what his next crime will be tomorrow. What to do, what to do.

Or maybe he'll visit Luna again. It hadn't been too long since he last saw her, but missed her so greatly already. Should he show up unexpectedly or give her a text this time?

He was still unsure of why Hawks spoke with her. Deku couldn't find any evidence suggesting the winged villain may have been working with someone against him. And ever since receiving Luna's number, there was nothing on anyone who she could've been speaking to. The only people she communicated with over the phone besides Deku now were her managers and coworker.

Another thought that arose in Deku's head made his eye twitch. It was probable that this was mostly just a coincidence. But Deku remembered that Hawks loved attention from girls, especially the pretty ones. Luna was undeniably exquisite in both appearance and personality. It wouldn't be surprising if Hawks wanted to speak with her just for the excuse to interact. But the thought of Hawks possibly hitting on Luna made dark feelings rise in Deku. Made his heart twist up and his blood grow cold. Deku grinned crookedly, the thought of having to eliminate someone who were to try to take Luna.

A flash of something in Deku's peripheral vision snapped him out of his murderous thoughts. Something bright that stood out in the streets was in view for barely a second before disappearing behind another building. Deku eyed where it disappeared for a while. It was unusual for a civilian to be out here this late, unless they were planning an assault on Deku's lair, which would be very thoughtless. A fellow villain might be lurking down there as well.

After staring at where it was for some time, Deku assumed it might've been a stray cat and looked away. No one would be foolish enough to try and attack him at his own domain.

He remembered he had other things to tend to. He would visit Luna soon.

Luna found herself in the Deja Brew cafe again on the early morning of a Friday. It was her day off, but Yoshida asked her to come up with a plan for a particular fake cake due in about a year. Someone ordered a specific theme and a sketch had to be made to get an idea of what they could want. So Luna was currently sitting alone at a small booth against the wall, drawing out a sketch while looking up examples on her phone. She took a bite of her crepe cake before washing the flavor down with some hot peach tea, estimating how tall the cake should be. Her pencil drew out a ruler on the side of the paper before drawing out the tiers.

It was very quiet in the cafe. Not a lot of people were in here so early this morning. There were only two customers sitting in their respectable seats, both strangers toward each other as they sat separately. One was asleep with his face in his arms and a coffee cup in front of him. Another was staring deeply into the screen of his laptop, probably focusing on something for work. Only one employee was present behind the counter, using this time to clean the machines and dishes. Her manager was in the back. The only things that could be heard were the faint steps and rubs of the employee moving around and the calming music playing from the store's speakers.

The entry door opened, the sound of heavy boots entering the cafe and stopping for a moment. Luna briefly glanced up, seeing someone standing in front of the glass front, blocking the door. It was a guy judging by his build and the type of clothes he was wearing. His clothes were black with hints of orange and red, a hoodie over his head. His eyes were on Luna the moment she looked at him. Luna just looked back down at her paper, assuming she caught his eyes by coincidence.

Unaware he was still glaring at her.

After an odd moment of silence, she finally heard him walk to the counter. He made an order to the employee Luna couldn't hear. His voice was low and gruff. After the exchange of payment, the employee politely said his order would be ready soon.

Luna's tongue stuck out a little as she focused closely on drawing out the tiers. The employee handed the man what he ordered and told him to have a nice day. The guy didn't say anything in response, just left the counter and headed further into the cafe. The platinum-blonde-haired girl could see him choose a table in her peripheral vision against the wall and next to the condiment stand. He sat down with a tall cup of a drink.

After the tiers were drawn out, Luna tapped her finger on her chin, humming in wonder. She quietly asked herself if the cake's plaques should go on top or the side. This was supposed to be a luxurious cake, so fancy toppers were needed. After deciding a different topper should go on top, Luna sketched the plaques going on the side.

While taking another swig of her tea, her eyes landed on the man across the room. He wasn't directly facing her, but his eyes were on her. They were a blazing color she couldn't read. Hints of spiked blonde hair peeked out from his hoodie. He was hunched over, his arms resting on the table. His face was scrunched up, the top lip quirked a bit. His eyes were narrowed.

He looked…mad.

Realizing her overtimed stare, Luna looked back down at the paper and grabbed her pencil. I hope he's not having a bad morning. Luna thought.

As the minutes ticked by, Luna became aware that he was still staring at her. She gradually started glancing at him repeatedly. The guy was literally not doing anything. Not even drinking from his cup. He was completely still, just glaring at her. His gloved hands were balled into really tight fists.

It was making her uncomfortable. Was he mad at her? Luna didn't recall ever seeing this man. He was never her customer at the wedding cake shop. He wasn't a neighbor to her knowledge, not that she had any problems with any of them. She couldn't think of any reason of why he could he upset with her.

The young woman nervously glanced at her phone and thought of Deku. She remembered how he stayed with her that night in Hana Park, having wanted to protect her from any unknown danger.

Should she call Deku? No, she didn't want to risk waking him up so early. But she was now worried and couldn't focus on the sketch anymore. Approaching the stranger didn't seem like the best idea, either.

Yoshida should be awake right now. She's usually in the wedding cake shop this early, not to open but to prep some equipment and material ahead of time.

Luna picked up the phone, found her manager's contacts and put it to her ear. After a minute of ringing, someone answered.

"Hello?" Yoshida's tired voice answered bluntly.

"Good morning, Yoshida. How's everything going?" Luna asked.

"It's going. Why are you calling me so early?" Yoshida asked, her tone still blunt. She was probably annoyed to have been interrupted from her work. Luna didn't blame her. Yoshida was considered a workaholic, but broke her back after a staircase incident a few years ago. She said she couldn't move around as quickly anymore so she comes into work very early, despite Luna witnessing her showing a good amount of strength when moving things around.

"Sorry to call you at this time. Did you need help with the store today?" Luna asked in a lower voice. She already felt a pit of guilt arising in her chest.

Suddenly Yoshida's voice became a bit more chipper. "Uh, yeah if you're willing to come in." She said.

Luna was trying very hard not to look over to the man. She responded, almost whispering. "I can, but could you please come pick me up?"

Silence rang in her ear for a minute. "Are you trying to get a free ride out of me?" She asked, sounding annoyed again.

Luna started whispering now. "I'm sorry, but I'm at a cafe and there's this guy watching me and I don't know why. Can you please pick me up? I promise I'll help you the whole day." She asked.

"Did you get involved with something? Cause that's not good for business." Yoshida said.

"Involved with something? No." Luna muttered, not knowing what her boss meant.

There was a loud sigh on the other end. "What cafe?"

"Deja Brew."

"I'll text you when I pull up."

"Thank you."

Yoshida hung up and Luna went right back to working on the sketch. She could feel a strange, unfamiliar sensation on her skin. Humming in discomfort, her pencil rigidly drew on the paper. The girl fought the unusually strong urge to so much as glance at the guy against the wall. Was he still watching her?

The sound of the front door opening caught Luna's attention, who shifted her eyes to see another man walk into the room. He looked very tired, like he hadn't slept in weeks. His whole body was coated up. A large plastic cup fell from his hands and dropped on the floor. He swung down and picked it up, throwing it into the garbage before approaching the center to order something.

Some time passed before Luna received a text, reading Here from Yoshida. Luna hurriedly finished her cake and tea. While doing so, her eyes accidentally landed on the guy.

He was now facing her direction, his chair turned parallel to her. His hands were on his knees now, like he was about to get up. He looked madder than before. Did he know she called someone to pick her up?

The guy who came in was called to get his paid order. He grabbed his new cup and went to the condiment stand behind the blonde man. Suddenly the guy lost his footing and fell, the steaming liquid in his cup splashing onto the blonde man's arm. What came next was unbelievably scary.

The blonde man's lips parted, showing his grow of teeth as he gritted them harshly. A very loud roar of anger and pain erupted from him, his gruff voice yelling at the top of his lungs, "AAAARRRGH! YOU FUCKING DUMBASS!" It looked like his face was about to split in two just from that yell. Everyone in the cafe was startled by the man's sudden outburst.

The man who accidentally spilt the drink held his hands up. "Whoa, whoa, calm down, bro. It was just an-"

A powerful explosion didn't allow him to finish that sentence. A fiery hand blasted the guy's face, angry popping noises and fire-like blasts striking his face, all coming from the blonde man's hand. "DON'T YOU FUCKING TELL ME WHAT TO FUCKING DO!"

The very few people in the cafe started freaking out. The blonde man's explosion caused the guy's clothing and hair to catch on fire. He screamed in pain and terror while rolling around on the floor, clutching his face.

Luna wanted to help the man, but knew better. Sniffling from the fear and mental pain of the scary sight, she hurriedly fled the cafe through the front door and ran toward the road. She recognized Yoshida's car and ran over to it, yanking the door handle and climbing inside.

"What in the world is going on in there?!" Yoshida barked in horror.

"Please, drive! I'll contact the authorities!" Luna said.

Yoshida stepped on the breaks and sped down the road. Luna struggled to dial the police as her entire body was shaking from the sudden shock. She got the police on the line and reported what had happened to them.
