Stede and Ed are going on a blind date arranged by Pete, their mutual friend. Their friend has been strongly "encouraged" (forced) by his boyfriend Lucius, and took the right decision because it's love at first sight for the two men. But Ed has a rather particular job: he's a gay porn star! Would Stede be able to accept the job of the man with whom he immediately fell in love?

There's no wind, the Revenge's not moving, the crew's bored and want a story. Since both co-captains are busy, the crew turns to Oluwande. Oluwande doesn't see anything wrong with that, except that Jim is in all his stories and Jim doesn't want to hear about the past, when they were someone else, before they understood who they were.

The sea is calm and Ed is waiting for Stede to leave with him, far from piracy, far from the past. Except that Stede doesn't arrive, except that Ed's unlovable, except that it is written that he'll never have anything beautiful and nice in his life. And yet he waits, trying to convince himself that Stede will come and that for once, everything will be fine.
