Episode 15: Return to Maenus

Captain's log: Stardate 58378.7 - We are returning to the Psi 2000, known by the inhabitants as: the planet Maenus. When last we were here, a Lord of Kobol offered us aid if we ever needed it. Our mission is to obtain his aid in our conflict with the Shadows.

The Planet Maenus

With a flash, the landing party appeared on the planet's surface. It consisted of Captain Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace, Science Officer Ston, Doctor Leptus, Yeoman Janice Six, Ensign Melko, and Communications Officer 1 of 20. They materialized to find the city in ruins.

"Looks like it wasn't an illusion after all," mused Doctor Leptus.

"A sufficiently powerful telepath could easily fool our senses into seeing this place in ruins," said 1of 20. She, like all members of the Talosian people was a telepath and her past experience with the Volons had boosted the telepathic powers of the Talosian crew-members of the Enterprise to the point where they were starting to be able to telepathically project illusions, like the Talosian from the Argos Universe could.

Doctor Leptus and Mister Stonn pulled out their tricorders.

"That hallucinogen that was in the air last time is not as strong now as it was last time," said Doctor Leptus.

"And it appears to be emanating from this direction," observed Stonn, as he pointed his tricorder towards the temple.

The party walked towards the temple. Its' roof had been blown off. But the walls were still intact. When they reached the foot of the stairs leading up to the temple, Starbuck halted the group and began removing her clothing.

"All right, from this point further, only volunteers," ordered Starbuck, as she shed her uniform. "It's apparently considered sacrilegious to wear clothing in the presence of Lord Dionysos. Ensign Melko, You'll stay here and guard our uniforms."

Due to her advanced pregnancy Yeoman Six's mini-dress uniform had been adapted to her condition. It was now knee-length and looser to accommodate her growing body. But she was shedding it like the others as the prepared to enter the Temple.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Asked Starbuck, as she reached out to grasp the hand of Six.

"Wild Daggets couldn't stop me!" Snarled Yeoman Six, as she continued to undress.

"Well don't forget we're here to form and alliance with him," chided Starbuck. "Try not to make too big a scene."

"I won't," replied Six.

Once the five of them were naked, they proceed up the stairs. When they got to the top and looked in the doorway, they saw Lord Dionysos sitting alone of a piece of rubble in the classic 'thinker' pose.

Starbuck motioned for the rest of them to stay back as she padded forward in her bare feet. When she reached her Lord of Kobol, she knelt at his feet. She raised her arms in prayer as she began: "Lord Dionysos, you offered to aid us if we called upon you. I humbly beseech you to-"

But her prayer was cut off when he reached out and grasped her arm while stimulating her brain's pleasure center. Starbuck moaned in ecstasy as she began to thrash about.

Seeing this, Six waddled forward and gave Dionysos a:

SMACK!

as she slapped him, causing him to release Starbuck.

"You knocked me up, you bastard!" Snarled Six.

"So I have," said Dionysos, as he reached forward, in wonder, and tried to caress her belly.

"Don't you dare touch me unless you mean it!" Screamed Six.

"Jan- . . . Jan, don't! . . ." panted Starbuck, who had curled herself into a featle position and was still trying to catch her breath.

"Janice . . dear Janice . . . I always mean it when I make love to my followers," replied Dionysos.

"Well I'm not one of your followers," snapped Six. "I am a follower of the One God of the Universe, who most certainly is not you!"

"Well if you won't worship me, perhaps you could, instead, marry me?" Offered Dionysos.

"M- . . . m- . . . marry you?" Gasped Six.

You could become one of my wives, my maenads, and together we could raise our child," explained Dionysos. "I appear to have a shortage of wives at the moment."

He looked around at the ruins.

"What happened here?" Asked Doctor Leptus, as he stepped forward.

"The Shadows came from above and blasted us from orbit," explained Dionysos. "The Maenad people are all dead. I am the only one left here."

"We came here to ask your help against the Shadows," said Starbuck as she rose to her feet.

"Then you have come to the wrong god," replied Dionysos. "Athena or Ares or even Pan would be better able to help you. . . . Though, I would be willing to make an introduction . . . if you were willing to transport me to the other Lords."

"That's all you want in exchange?" Asked Starbuck. "Just transportation to the other Lords of Kobol? You don't require us to pleasure you?"

"If you are willing to offer your bodies for the Sharing of Pleasures, I would, of course, accept. But I would not require it of you, unless you were willing to give yourself to me." Explained Dionysos.

"It might be prudent to limit his contact with the members of the crew, especially the human ones," offered Stonn.

"He can stay with me in my quarters," offered Yeoman Six. "That would limit the number of people that could be with him at once."

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Asked Starbuck.

"Does this mean you agree to be one of my wives?" Asked Dionysos.

"It means I want time to consider it," replied Six.

"We should probably make a schedule that people can sign up for visiting with Lord Dionysos." Suggested Doctor Leptus. "Otherwise the Yeoman's quarters are likely to be overflowing with worshipers.

"We also need to limit the numbers that can be off duty at any one time," added Stonn.

"Well post a sign up sheet on the ships computer," commanded Starbuck, first come, first serve. No special privileges for rank, not even for me. Yeoman, do you need to be relieved of duty to organize things?"

"Thanks Captain, but no," replied Six. "I'm too far along to be Sharing Pleasures with anyone and I have a feeling I will want a break from his presence once in a while."

She turned to Dionysos.

"You and I are going to need to have some long talks," said Six. "So don't think you can fill up the entire day and night with your worshipers!"

"Then, I guess it's time to get dressed and return to the ship," mused Starbuck.

Hearing this, their uniforms and equipment floated into the ruins of the temple, as Ensign Melko telekinetically lifted them to them.

Once everyone had gotten dressed, Starbuck flipped open her communicator.

"Thrace to Enterprise," said Starbuck. "Seven to beam up."
