Astrid takes a deep breath as she steps out of the elevator. Making her way down the corridor, Astrid wondered why she was here today. Chief Stoick had called her this morning, asking for her to visit him in his office. She couldn't help but wonder what could be the reason behind this sudden call. While engrossed in her thoughts, she soon found herself standing in front of the door leading to Stoick's office.

Astrid took another deep breath to calm her nerves and raised her hand, knocking on the door.

"Come in."

Hearing that, Astrid pushed the door open and entered his office, immediately feeling the coldness inside his air conditioned office. In front of her, Stoick stood near the glass wall behind, his back facing Astrid as he looked out towards the cityscape through the glass.

"Astrid," Stoick said as he turned around to look at her,"Please take a seat."

Astrid sat down on the chair opposite to the desk, as Stoick also came over and say on his seat behind the desk.

"How is the investigation going?" He asked.

"I've made some progress sir, it's rather little." Astrid admitted,"I've figured some things about Nightfury and made some advances, but I'm afraid it's not enough."

"Hmmm." Stoick listened to her, his hands gathered on the table as he looked to be deep in thought. "Keep up your work, Astrid. Nightfury may be one of the hardest cases we got in recent times, but I have faith in you to solve it."

Stoick's words sparked a flame of determination in her heart. But at the same time, Astrid couldn't help but feel a hint of curiosity.

"Sir, if you don't mind me asking, why are you so interested in Nightfury?" Astrid asked.

"Sir, if you don't mind me asking, why are you so interested in Nightfury?" Astrid asked.

Stoick's leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together. "Nightfury's actions have caught the attention of even city officials." Stoick says,"They're worried about the precedent it sets – vigilante justice undermining the authority of law enforcement. And I share their views."

He then gets up from his seat ,going back at towards the glass wall, as he looked below towards the city streets. "Nightfury is a wildcard. No one can predict how he will act in future. He has already put lives of civilians and law enforcement at risk in several occasions, and I fear if we let him continue, his actions may further harm the civilians."

He took a break, taking a deep breath before continuing,"I don't know if his goals justify the methods he employs, but his presence undermines the justice system. If we let it go as it is, it may even destabilise the situ itself."

Astrid got up from her seat, her mind filled with Stoick's words. But she could sense there was something more to it.

"I sense there is more to it, sir." She said, her curiosity taking the best of her.

Stoick's eyes drifted, his gaze lost in the past. "My wife, Valka...she was taken from me in a senseless accident. And my son,...his fate was sealed by circumstance. Their deaths left me with questions, Astrid. Questions about justice, morality, and the system's ability to protect its people."

He paused, turning back towards Astrid, his voice heavy with emotion. "Nightfury represents a paradox. He operates outside the law, yet seem to be driven by a sense for justice. I need to understand their motivations."

Astrid sensed the depth of Stoick's pain and curiosity.

"Is it about validating your own beliefs, sir?" she asked gently.

Stoick's eyes snapped back to hers, intense. "Perhaps." He admitted,"But also, I fear that if Nightfury's actions are misguided, it could lead to chaos. And if they're not, it challenges everything I thought I knew about justice."

When Astrid left his office, she was once again lost in thoughts. During her investigation, she had seen the effect Nightfury had on Berk first hand, inspiring hope in some and fear to others. Her own opinions remained tangled about this mysterious vigilante, and now after hearing Stoick's words, she knew he wasn't a matter to deal with lightly.

The city of Berk, from outside it looked to be a peaceful city, but deep inside it was a dark underbelly of criminal activities and evil. But the arrival of just one individual has shaken up the city to its very core, shaking up the foundation of its criminal underworld.

The bold city streets of Berk now seemed fragile, now that Nightfury has exposed the vulnerabilities.

As Astrid stepped inside the elevator, she felt her frustrations creep in. "What am I missing?" She whispered to herself. Her determination and resolve remained strong, as she decided, no matter the obstacles, she was gonna breakthrough this case.

She will get Nightfury, no matter what.
