Chapter 38: A plan in motion

It took some time to stand up for our hero with all his girls surrounding him, but eventually they started to make their way towards the captains meeting hall. Kisuke and the others joined in after landing and quickly joined the rather large mob. While they were walking, Rukia took the opportunity to cling to Ichigo's right arm much to his delight. Yoruichi was still clung to his back with her head rested atop his and Kenpachi had already seized his other arm. Ichigo could do nothing but chuckle to himself at how close they were to him while also mentally thanking Zangetsu for getting rid of that prudish barrier not too long ago.

It took a bit of time but they all made it to the meeting hall where the captains that didn't leave were standing around, waiting on the guest of honor. Once inside, the head captain could only let out a chuckle of her own at how attached most of them had gotten towards the boy.

"Alright," the old woman started with a bang of her cane, "let's start this meeting, shall we."

While the lieutenants and seated officers went to stand behind their captains, with a reluctant Kenpachi and Rukia also joining the lines, Yoruichi had stayed clung to Ichigo. Many were jealous at her boldness and wanted to be in her daring position, but lacked the Moxy to do so like the former captain of squad two. Before anyone could do anything though, it was Kisuke that had come to the rescue and pried her off the boy by pulling on her ear very hard. Those two joined the others in the back since they weren't apart of the squads.

"Well then," the head captain started once more, "now that everyone has been settled down, it is time we started this meeting." She looked to Unohana. "Captain Unohana, if you please."

Unohana stepped forward and pulled a folder from her haori. It was finally time to reveal some key information to everyone here. "As I'm sure you are all aware, all eleven women Ichigo Kurosaki have had relations with have become pregnant and have progressed at an astounding rate." She looked straight to Ichigo with a stern gaze that didn't faze him in the slightest. "In about a weeks time, all eleven will give birth to a variety of children." This information caught everyone's attention.

"A variety?" Kyoraku asked. "What do ya mean by that Retsu?"

With a sigh, Unohana opened her folder and began to read off its contents. "For the following women, they will have a single, healthy girl. Captain Soi-Fon, Ikuko Madarame, Yumichika Ayasegawa, Lieutenants Nemu Kurotsuchi, Isane Kotetsu and Renka Abarai."

The named women were relieved to hear this news and would plan accordingly to what was to come in the next week. Everyone else was still waiting patiently for what Unohana would say next.

"This next group of women will have twin girls." Unohana continued while many in the room were surprised by her words. "Lieutenant Rangiku Matsumoto, Kukaku Shiba, Captain Kenpachi Zaraki, and Yoruichi Shihoin."

Hearing this news had the four women reacting differently.

Rangiku was shocked by the news that she would give birth to twins and could only think about her figure becoming completely and permanently changed once she gives birth. She would need to find a way to keep her gorgeous form after having the two girls somehow.

Both Kukaku and Kenpachi were over the freaking moon hearing this news for different reasons. For Kukaku, this meant that she now had two strong heirs to the Shiba clan and a much larger chance of reviving the clan as a whole once word reached the other scattered members. This was a huge deal for her as now the Shiba clan had a better chance of survival this time around, and this time they had not one but two powerhouses with them. For Kenpachi, she was just happy that she was gonna have two powerful kids instead of one. It meant that life would get a whole hell of a lot more interesting. That and now Yachiru had two little sisters instead of just one like they thought she would have at first. The pink haired lieutenant was head over heels with this news.

Yoruichi was slightly pale from hearing this news. One child was already too much for her, but twins? That was an entirely different feeling all together. She knew the Shihoin clan was ecstatic to finally have an heir to their clan, but the thought of two would make them all jump for joy for days on end. Yoruichi could only imagine how her little sister, Yushiro, would get once she heard the news of having twin nieces to spoil.

This only left one last person out of both reports. Rukia was starting to get nervous as she wasn't mentioned in either report. She was fine with having a single child and was prepared for it, but once the notion of twins came up, she panicked a bit. Now though, she was worried that her child was one of the unlucky ones that wouldn't be healthy, or worse, not even get the chance to live in the first place. Rukia didn't want that and almost had a pain attack right then and there at the uncertainty, but that was when Ichigo appeared next to her and wrapped his large arms around her in a comforting manner. She looked up at him and saw the kind smile and warm gaze he gave her and all her fears washed away. Everyone else saw this a reacted differently, some with jealousy and envy, but they didn't get far as Unohana continued once more.

"As for Rukia Kuchiki." Unohana let out a sigh of irritation that was unlike her and caught everyone off guard. "I have gone through her results over twenty times and found that each time the results were the same. I don't know how, or why this is even possible," she looked to the girl as Ichigo was still there and saw here holding his hand in comfort, "but somehow your child will be a healthy boy, miss Kuchiki."

The room went completely silent.

[Las Noches, monitor room]

Sorako had been listening in to the meeting as she was intrigued at just what would be said about the pregnant women, and she was not disappointed. The news that they would all give birth in a week was interesting as it was much faster than normal means, but the fact that some would have twins was also a rare happening as well. Hearing that Rangiku would have twins caused the rogue to chuckle to herself as she knew Gina would have a field day with this news.

"It seems that this has proven to be my golden opportunity to effectively neutralize this boy." She said to herself as she listened once more. "Though, it is a shame that it seems that Rukia won't be having a child anytime soon."

"I have gone through her results over twenty times and found that each time the results were the same. I don't know how, or why this is even possible, but somehow your child will be a healthy boy, miss Kuchiki."

Sorako gaped at that news and for the first time in a rather long time, she was at a complete loss for words. A boy born within the soul society? It was unheard of. It was impossible. It was-

"The Hogyoku." She said to herself as she remembered that when she went to extract the Hogyoku from Rukia it wasn't there anymore.

She had assumed that Kisuke didn't put it within her gigai and instead had it somewhere else at the time, but now a new theory was going through her mind. Ichigo Kurosaki had already copulated with Rukia before Sorako could extract the Hogyoku, and from the reports, his energy dominates the other and accelerates the growth process now to only a few weeks. Rukia Kuchiki is the only one out of eleven women that is going to have a boy and the Hogyoku should have been inside her at the time.

"With Ichigo's dominant energy and Hogyoku within Rukia and their child being born a male," Sorako stood up and stared hard at the screen as the news made everyone fall silent. "I think I may have a better plan now." She turned off the screen and left the room in order to find Gina and relieve some built up stress now.

Another chapter down. That's a lot of kids for one guy. I'll eventually come up with names for them or use some already suggested names from the past.

What plan does Sorako have in store for our hero, and what is the implication for Rukia having a son instead of a daughter? Wait and see. The next chapter will focus a little more on Yuzuki back in the Kurosaki household.
