Rezin and Ali stopped their Ligers outside the courtyard to the citadel. As they climbed out of their weapons of war, they drew their lightsabers. Rezin ignited his signature twin double blades and activated the magnet clamps securing them to his bracers. Ali drew her dual single blades and readied herself in a defensive stance next to her friend. An unspoken agreement went between them as they looked into each other's helmet covered face. Their connection through the Force increases and they force shoved the doors inward, breaking the massive locks. As they entered the courtyard, the Sith Lord Narkest stood across from them with two sith bodyguards, sabers ignited, and ready to fight.

"This is you one and only chance to surrender." Rezin spoke through the tension. Ali stood at his side in a ready stance. She knew this sith would not give in. She could tell by the body language they were giving off. She was about to communicate this through the Force to Rezin when she realized he knew it too. This was a formality. Nothing more.

"You do not even know who I am. I am apprentice to Darth Nox, member of the Dark Council. I am the leader of the sith forces here on Fornost and you are not welcome! I am Lord Narkest!" The sith responded. At that, his guards charged Rezin and Ali. Rezin readied his magnetically bound twin double blades and Ali dropped into a low crouch below his weapons and at his left side.

The first blows landed high from one of the guards. Rezin quickly moved to intercept. The second guard quickly attacked low. Ali protected her friend's flank from the low attack. Rezin struck back by driving the first guard's blades higher, knocking him off balance. He then drove his attack further by bringing his arms up over his head in an attempt to slash his opponent from shin to shoulder. The guard quickly dodged, but not before taking a glancing blow from one of Rezin's blades. Rezin used this chance to deactivate the magnetic locks and free hand his two weapons.

Ali realized what Rezin was doing and force shoved her opponent back. She then reverse gripped her sabers to better adapt to her friend's change in stance. She then closed in with Rezin, going back to back.

Rezin quickened his attacks. He drove his opponent back further and further with each swing. His blades became a blur of viridian green color as they clashed with the crimson red of the sith guards. It took both guards now to even slow Manda'lor and Ali's advance. Ali would strike at weak points in the guards' defenses while Rezin kept up the spinning blade assault. It was a perfectly choreographed dance of fighter and weapon as Rezin spun with his twin double blades and Ali moved around him distracting, attacking, and then retreating within Rezin's wall of fury. The guards could not go on any kind of offensive due to Rezin and could not slow Rezin because of Ali. All that was needed for the fight to end quickly was one mistake by the guards. Then it happened. A guard slipped in his defenses and was cut down in a shower of green color. This was enough of a distraction to the other guard for Ali to quickly dispatch him.

With both his guards down, Narkest didn't waste any time jumping into the fray. He attacked with reckless abandon. He was beyond outmatched and outclassed though. One blade against six. Narkest stabbed and slashed at Ali and Rezin. Then he would jump back and blast force lightning at them. Rezin would easily deflect the lighting with one of his sabers. This would lead to Narkest charging in again. This repeated itself for about 5 cycles. Unbeknownst to Narkest, Rezin was observing his fighting style. He was analyzing it for a weakness.

After the 5 cycle, he found it. With a quick fade of one dual blade, Rezin forced Narkest out of position and off balance. Ali disarmed Narkest and Rezin drove his second saber through Narkest, ending the sith's life.

All in all, these battles lasted about ten minutes.

"Well, that couldn't have gone better." Ali smiled at her friend.

"Agreed." Rezin said between breaths. "Let's broadcast to the planet."

Rezin and Ali walked over to a terminal in the courtyard and opened a planet wide broadcast. "This is Manda'lor the Throne Breaker to all of Fornost. The capital is under our control. Lord Narkest and his guards are dead. Lay down your weapons and surrender to my forces. You will not be harmed if you do this now." Rezin bellowed. "To my Mando'ade. You have fought beyond anything in the old legends! Be proud of your work. Bear this honor with pride. Tonight, we celebrate!"

Later that evening, Rezin was with his friends, family, and fellow warriors in the outskirts of the capital city. Valkyria and their kids had come down from the Skyline to celebrate with their father. "You did wonderfully." Valkyria said.

"Yeah Dad. That was great." Bry, Rezin and Valkyria's oldest son, stated. Bry had been in very few battles. He was 16 years old and a Mando'ade Votyc as well. In fact, Bry, Beck (12), Addi (10), and Al (8) are all Mando'ade Votyc. Only Bry is a knight of the Mando'ade order.

"We still have a long way to go. This is only the first step." Rezin told his family and friends.

"Be that as it may, we have won a major victory here." M reassured her friend. "Ali told me how well the battle went. I did not realize you and my sister had practiced."

"M, you know what it is like to fight with him. Once you master it, you NEVER forget it." Ali told her sister. This was very true. Fighting with someone who dual wields to double blades takes a ton of skill and training. It is not something you ever forget.

"Enough about the battles." Rezin laughed. "Enjoy tonight. We have to pack up the first fleet tomorrow. Revan will be preparing the 4th fleet to move on with us. Before you ask, the 3rd Fleet will remain here under the command of Admiral Shok. Al'verde Wren will bring the 7th Fleet with us to help hold the next system. We are going to be calling in some of our defense fleets to help solidify our hold on the system." Rezin stated bluntly. This answered M and Ali's questions before they were even asked. Revan and Bastila were there too and heard this. They knew they would have a very busy day tomorrow. "But that can all wait for morning. Tonight, we celebrate our victories. We remember those who have fallen, and enjoy each other's company. Jate oya'karir. Ve'ganir some udes. Ijaat te dead. (Good hunt. Get some rest. Honor the dead
