Fall of Remnant
(Inspired by Transformers: Fall of Cybertron)
It is the last days of Remnant.
Years ago, the war between Ozpin and Salem suddenly intensified. The fragile peace that the four kingdoms and all other living things across the planet was shattered when Salem announced herself and unleashed a vast army of Grimm from her throne and onto the world.
The four kingdoms were ravaged by the seemingly endless tide. Atlas fell to the ground atop Mantle, the three cities of Mistral are ravaged, and Vacuo is glassed.
And soon, in the final days of what was now known as the Grimm War, Vale is the last kingdom left standing, and it is barely hanging on by a thread.
The whole kingdom has been mobilised into a war footing. Everyone that can fight has been thrown onto the frontlines against an enemy that never seems to end. Day by day, the kingdom stands to lose more and more, all while the people in charge, what's left of Remnant's leaders and Huntsman academy headmasters, coordinate their movements and their enemy's positions and decide on who next to send into the meatgrinder. On the ground, the likes of Ruby Rose, Yang Xiao Long, Blake Belladonna, and Weiss Schnee are either wounded or dead. Many of the surviving Huntsman students, from Neon Katt to Octavia Ember to Scarlet David, have been thrust into positions of authority simply because everyone else is too dead to take up command. All of the former heroes that once populated their world are now either wounded, broken, or dying.
Vale is on the verge of collapse, and everyone is gearing up for what could possibly be their final end at the hand of the Grimm.
Meanwhile, most of Remnant's populace have already abandoned their home, in search of a new life amongst the stars.
This is a more technologically advanced Remnant. In the massive rush by the Grimm against their walls, mankind has been forced to rush their technological developments, and now have finally begun to master the art of space travel. Their technology has lost all its previous artistic style, and is now crude and utilitarian, and their spaceships are haphazard and fuel intensive...
But right now, there is one last spaceship ready for what's left of mankind to depart in. The Beacon.
It is mankind's last hope.
And now, as the sure of Grimm finally rushes to Vale to finish off what is left of mankind, the war against Salem has become a desperate struggle to hold on to the next day, to prepare their last hope for departure, and to escape their world and find a new home amongst the heavens above.
And as enemies from within and without Vale's walls work to bring about their extinction, what is left of mankind must face the struggles and horrors of this war together, hand in hand as they fight against the endless tide of destruction and work to save what remains of their kind and flee their dying world.
All that is certain is this:
This is the Fall of Remnant.
