Walking back into the Vault, I watched as Cinder floated in the water. She was no longer frozen, and it only took a month for her to defrost. My brother was most likely on his way to Atlas now, but that was fine. Whatever he thought I was going to do, was wrong. Seeing Cinder twitch, I crossed my arms as I waited for her.
Seeing the water bubble up, she screamed in rage as she activated her maidens powers. She floated in the air, the fire around her intensifying. Watching at the fire was extinguished, she fell back into the water.
Watching her swim to land, I watched as she started crawling out of the pool of water and onto the shore of the underground cave. Cinder holds her hand out and tries to activate a small flame in her hands, but it dies out quickly. Cinder grunts in frustration, slamming her Grimm-like fist to the ground. She looks up to me standing over her, her eyes widening. Cinder then looks up to notice the Vault under Haven Academy where she fought against Raven.
"You lost." I said as I dropped a bag next to her. "Get dressed, we have much to do." I said as she looked at the bag and them me. "From this moment on, you are MINE, and I WILL not tolerate a weak girl such as yourself." I said as I knelt down and grabbed her face, making her look me in the eyes, where I saw the horror in them. "You fail me, and I will burn you alive, just like you did my former self." I said as I pushed her face to the side.
"Who..."
"Revan." I said as I knew she was going to ask who I was, and I made it clear to her that I was back. "And luckily for you, I got a new body." I said as I walked towards the exit that I made. "Unlucky for you, I got a new body!" I said as I looked back at her, with her flinching once more. "Now get a move on, we've got someone to find, and someone to kill." I said as I turned back around to walk away.
Dakota's POV
In a small clearing on the outskirts of the train wreckage, the air shimmered. She stood poised, her vibrant robes rustling slightly in the gentle breeze. I stood across from her stood, my expression a mix of curiosity and skepticism. The others searched for supplies as I watched over the woman.
"What are you exactly?" I asked, darting my gaze toward the trees, expecting Grimm to leap out at any moment. "I can sense you're different, but I cant tell why." I said as I had a strong feel from her. "You said the return of the Jedi, what exactly is that? What does a Jedi mean?" I asked as if that story was true, then there was more to me than meets the eye.
She smiled softly, goggled eyes twitching. "A Jedi is a guardian of peace and justice. They are the keepers of the Force, an energy that binds all living things. It allows them to do things others cannot... from sensing the emotions of those around them... to wielding light as a weapon against darkness." She said as she pointed to my lightsaber.
I shook my head, dismissing her words with a wave of my hand. "That's a Jedi? That sounds like a fairy tale. Stories told to children. I've heard many of those. There's no such thing as dairy tales."
Her gaze intensified, piercing through my veil of disbelief. "I once knew two Jedi over sixty years ago." She said, catching my attention. "They were unlike anyone I had ever met. I traveled with them, learned from their teachings. Though I cannot use the Force myself, I absorbed their wisdom." She said as she pointed at me. "I can teach you the ways of the Jedi." She said with a smile.
My interest piqued momentarily, but skepticism remained. "You can teach me? What would I possibly learn from someone who cannot even tap into that power?" I said was I waved her off.
She straightened, a glimmer of determination igniting in her expression. "The true essence of a Jedi isn't only in wielding the Force. It is understanding the heart, clearing the mind, and connecting with the universe around you. I can guide you to unlock your potential." She said, gesturing to our surroundings.
I narrowed my eyes, contemplating her proposition. "All right, then. Teach me something—anything. If what you say is true, I'll follow your lead." I challenged, not taking her seriously.
"Very well!" She replied, calm and confident. "Let's begin with focus." She said as she sat down in the snow, where I got off the rock and did the same, albeit warily, and both sank to the ground. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, demonstrating a serene composure. "Feel the energy of the forest around you. The trees, the soil, the breeze... they are all connected. Let your thoughts flow as water, and listen." She said, with me taking it that she wanted me to meditate with her.
Closing my eyes, I did just that. Moments passed in silence as I tried to mimic her. Thoughts raced through my mind, doubts clashing like metal in battle, losing to Rika. "This is pointless." I muttered as I shook my head. My mind only wondered to that point in time, my loss against Rika.
"Patience." She prompted gently. "Listen to what lies beyond your thoughts. Let go of your distractions. Focus on your breathing. Let it guide you." She assured.
As I concentrated, the chaos that filled my mind started to quiet. The gentle rustle of leaves transformed into a symphony, each note harmonizing with the pulse of life surrounding them. For the first time, I grasped the connection she spoke of, the primordial thread binding me to the Force, no, it was more than that, but I could not tell what it was. "Good." she said softly. "You're feeling it. How does it feel to connect?" She questioned.
"The forest… it's alive. It speaks." I replied, astonished by the realization that had just dawned upon me. I kept my eyes closed as I focused on the forest ahead. We were still a good distance away from it, but I could feel the life that it gave off.
"Exactly." She said with a smile. "You are beginning to understand. This connection is what the Jedi cherish above all. It is the foundation of their strength." She said, with me feeling a poke to my chest.
Encouraged, I took another deep breath, feeling more open to the revelations unfolding around me. "Could this really be the path of a Jedi?" I pondered aloud.
"Yes." She affirmed, her voice steady. "It is a journey of understanding and growth, far deeper than mere power. You may be more capable than you know." She said as I opened my eyes, almost to a new light.
A challenge glinted in my eyes, yet a mantle of newfound respect draped over his shoulders. Perhaps there was more truth to her words than I could initially comprehend.
"Great! This is just great! We're stranded, we lost a third of our party, and we've gained a defenseless old lady!" We heard Yang, with us looking over at her. With one final heave, Yang manages to extricate Bumblebee, but falls over to the ground, with her motorcycle following suit as she's partially covered in snow.
"My name is Maria Calavera, and I am not defenseless! I'm just a little hard of hearing. And blind without my eyes, that are in desperate need of repair." She said as she taps on her prosthetics, which open wide and close, before opening narrowly again. "Okay, I'm starting to see your point." She said as I stood up as our training session was overwith, for now.
"Yang, knock it off, will ya? If we lose our cool now, we'll just be inviting even more Grimm." Qrow warned as he walked ocer to us.
"Does that even matter? Apparently, we've been attracting Grimm ever since we left Haven." Blake said as she crossed her arms as she joined us, now standing by my side.
"Oh, and how could I forget about that?" Yang said as she turns to Oscar. "What happened to no more lies and half truths?" She questioned as she crossed her her arms.
"Yeah, I think it's time we got an explanation." Oscar said as he also wanted an answer.
Oscar's eyes glow as control of his body is switched to Ozpin, who furrows his brow at Yang's accusations.
"I did not lie to you." Ozpin said, with me narrowing my eyes at that.
"Well you certainly didn't tell us everything about the Relic." Weiss said as she walked over to us and placed her hands on her hips, looking at him in disappointment.
"Please, now is not the time." Ozpin said as he looked at each of hs as we were all here now.
"No, we're past that!" I said as he looked to me. "You knew this would put us in danger, be it a minuscule or a major one and kept it to yourself. Thats not something that tou keep to yourself." I said as Yang nodded her head.
"We wanna know why you're still not telling us everything!" Yang added as she turned her gaze from me to him.
"It is true that the Grimm are attracted to the Relics. It's faint, but undeniable. I believe it has to do with their origin, but I'm not entirely sure. Regardless, I feared that making you all aware would only add anxiety and negativity. It seemed like the safer option." Ozpin said, with me narrowing my eyes at him.
"You know, I'm getting real tired of people choosing what's best for me." Weiss said, and I looked at her with a raised eyebrow as I didn't get it but I knew she had a reason for saying that.
"Is that why you chose to lie to everyone about Lionheart too?" Yang questioned, with me remembering that Lionheart was called a hero even when he betrayed his kingdom and killed off his huntsman.
"Yes, as a matter of fact, I believed the Kingdom of Mistral deserved better than the truth. And I believed Leonardo deserved to be remembered for his lifetime of service, and not for the unfortunate missteps he made in his final years." Ozpin said, with me narrowing my eyes at him.
"Missteps?!" Yang yelled before I could speak up on that matter.
"What Professor Lionheart did was reprehensible. I am not here to argue differently, but does one lapse in judgment truly negate all of his good? Do we not all have regrets? You may have met Professor Lionheart, but you never met the man he was before Salem found him." Ozpin said, with me shaking my head at him.
We're supposed to be in this together. You say that you trust us, but you don't. Either start, or you walk alone." I said as I pulled the relic away from him, shocking him. "I'm not a fan of leaving someone behind, but if it gets us killed, then I wont hesitate to do so." I said as I placed it on my hip. "Start trusting us... We're not gonna turn our backs on you." I said as I crossed my arms.
"Do you really think Leo was the first?!" Ozpin yelled, making all of us quiet down at his outburst. "That he didn't say those exact same words to me? I'm sorry, but you have to understand that my behaviors are backed by experience. I'm not saying that I have reason to think you will betray me. I'm saying that I have reasons for the things that I do, the secrets I keep, the reason I..." He stopped himself, cooling off before holding his hand out to me. "Please, hand it over."
"So all those times you talked about having faith in humanity, that was just for everyone else?" Ruby said as she now stood in front of me, blocking his path.
"That's not what I meant to suggest. Miss Rose, the Relic is a powerful item and I simply feel as though it is my burden to bear." Ozpin said, his hand still reached out to me.
"But, you said it couldn't do anything right now." Ruby said as she reminded him on what he said.
"Why does it matter who carries it?" Blake asked as she looked at me as I held it.
"I need you to listen to me-"
Suddenly he stopped, stuck in his position as he took a step forward.
"Oz?" Qrow asked as he was getting ready to help him stand if he fell over.
Oscar grabbed his head, shaking it. "Hurry... he's... trying to stop you!" Oscar said, with me taking the relic in my hand if it was needed.
"Stop us from what?" Yang asked as she raised an eyebrow at him.
"He's afraid... you'll find out what he's... hiding!" He said, with everyone looking at eachother as that was big. Oscar suddenly collapses, Yang, Weiss and Blake glare at the boy with intense looks while Ruby takes the Relic of Knowledge from me, holding it defensively. "Her name is Jinn. Say her name to summon her." He said, with Yang looking at us.
"Thats the name Rika called out!" Yang said, shocking us as she now knew the name.
"Her name?" Ruby asked Oscar as he was the one who had the answers now. The wind picks up much more gradually, blowing snow even harder. The Relic starts to glow in Ruby's hands as she held it out in front of her. "Jinn?" Ruby called out, when suddenly, the snow stops, floating in midair, the wind even stopped blowing, no, time had come to a stand still.
"What?" Qrow asked as he looked around, even grabbing a snowflake.
Ruby then lets go of the Relic as it floats a short distance away, cyan smoke emanates from it. Suddenly, the lamp is enveloped in the smoke, and from it, a giant, semi-nude feminine figure emerges. Her skin and hair is colored blue, and decorated with gold jewelry and ornaments. The figure stretches and moans as she has been awakened once again. This is Jinn, the aforementioned being inhabiting the Relic of Knowledge.
"Wonderful, another of my masters has called for me." Jinn said as everyone stares in awe as Jinn bows before us. "Tell me, Master Dakota, what knowledge do you seek?"
Rika's POV
Walking with Cinder, who is now dressed in commoners clothes, we reached the end of the alleyway. Her Grimm arm is bandaged up to hide it from those who would see it as a threat. We looked to our left and noticed a holographic screen showing portraits of us and her allies. A subtitle below says "LAST KNOWN LOCATION: HAVEN ACADEMY, APPROXIMATELY ONE MONTH AGO".
"The perpetrators, Cinder Fall, Hazel Rainart, Emerald Sustrai, Mercury Black, and Rika Feichko, also known as Revan, have still not been seen since the attack and are presumed to have fled the city. The Mistral police department is offering a reward to any citizen who has any information on their whereabouts." The newsman said as we continued on.
Cinder, realizing she's a wanted criminal, puts her hood up to conceal her identity. "Relax, none will threaten us." I told her as we walked out into the rainy streets of Mistral, among crowds of people with their umbrellas up. People still carry out their businesses as usual, both legally and illegally. As we continues walking, I stoppes once I saw what I was looking for. Cinder notices the symbol - a spiderweb with a spider in it - etched into the wall. We're here. I said as I looked at Cinder.
We then walked into the restaurant, with some of the customers bearing tattoos similar to the symbol outside. We then walks up to a woman, who she presumed to be the leader of the gang as she was being paid in bags by some goons. She then notices us just as she about to have her meal.
"That's far enough." She said as her two bodyguards walk up to us, blocking our way. Tossed them aside, their necks snapping as they hit the wall. I then tossed down a sack of Lien on the table.
"Don't think I wont do the same to you." I said as I crossed my arms, then held my hand up, with everyone in the establishment but Cinder, her and I floating, each grabbing their throats.
"Okay." She said as she held her hands up in defeat, where I dropped everyone as Cinder takes a seat across from her.
"You're Lil' Miss Malachite?" Cinder said as she figured out who she was.
"I'm Lil' Miss Gon'-Skin-You-Alive if you ever take that tone with me again." She said as she took out her fan, looked to the money and then looked to me, before letting out a sigh. "Looks like your life's savings." She said as she looked at Cinder.
"Not even close." I said, letting her know I had more and if she wanred it, she would so well to know not to turn on us.
"Cute." Lil' Miss said as she looked up at me. "What do you want for it?" She asked, where Cinder pulls out her scroll, showing portraits of Jaune, Ren, Nora, and Team RWBY.
"I'm looking-"
"No, you're not." I said, with her looking up at me with wide eyes. "I already know where they are going, and you will do well to remeber that I am the on in charge here, not you, girl!" I threatened, with her lowering her head while gritting her teeth. "We are in need of a specific girl that you have in your custody. Not as a prisoner or one of your cheep whors youve got hidden down below, but one of your own." I said as I walked to the other side of Cinder, letting my hand slid from one shoulder to the other. "This one knows her well, and lets face it, they have some history." I said, with Cinder looking up at me as I moved my hand to her jawline and slid a finger off of it, before making her look forward.
"Well, sweethearts, you came to the right place." Lil' Miss said as she gave a fake smile. Cinder jolts a little as she looks behind her, noticing a man entering and being greeted by his group of friends sitting around a table, who quickly escorted him out. "A little jumpy today, hmm? You know, I used to be afraid of spiders. Want to know what I did about it?" She said with a grin.
"Learn to kill them?" Cinder said sarcastically, with me hitting her upside the head as she spoke out of disrespect.
"Oh no, the world needs spiders." Lil' Miss said as she leaned forward. "I just made the spiders work for me." She said, where I crossed my arms. Cinder looks around, noticing all of the customers have the tattoo of spiderweb, insinuating that they all work for Lil' Miss. I already figured this out, so she was slow on the upkeep. "Give us a week, we'll find your girl." She said, with Cinder getting up followed me out the door.
"Oh, and Lil' Miss?" I said as I stopped at the door, looking back at her as she started choking. "Don't forget who you are dealing with, I would hate to have another massacre on MY hands." I said as she started taking in deep breaths as I lead us out of the establishment.
Dakota's POV
"Master Dakota?" Everyone asked as they looked at me, even Ozpin was confused at this.
"I am Jinn, a being created by the God of Light to aid Humanity in its pursuit of knowledge. I've been graced with the ability to answer three questions every one hundred years. You're in luck, as I am still able to answer-"
"That's enough!" Ozpin yelled, interrupting Jinn as she spoke.
Everyone looks to Ozpin, who managed to regain control over Oscar's body. "Two questions this era, or as many as My Master requires." Jinn said, with Ozpin speaking up.
"So the Feichko Family were your master's all along? You refused to answer that question years ago!?" He yelled out in anger.
"Explain." I said, with everyone looking at me.
"You fool, you just used ip one question!" Weiss yelled as she crossed her arms.
"Allow me to start again." Jinn said as she stood up from her kneeling position. "I am Jinn, a being created by the God of Light to aid Humanity in its pursuit of knowledge. I've been graced with the ability to answer three questions every one hundred years, or any number questions my masters give. By my master's will, I am unable to tell any who ask who they are. Even in death, they are one with the Force." She said as she gave a bow.
"So, we can ask any question as long as Dakota asks them?" Ruby asked, looking at Ozpin.
"It appears so." He said as he fell to his knees. "After all this time... it was that family after all." He said, with me thinking about what I wanted to ask.
"I will ask my questions first, then we will move onto Team RWBY, Qrow, Maria, the Ozpin." I said, with everyone looking at me.
"Why am I last?" Ozpin asked, with us looking at him.
"Because you didn't trust us and withheld vital information that could of gotten us killed!" I said as I looked back at Jinn. "Jinn, as you must know, being a being of knowledge, I am a clone of Dakota." I said, with her nodding.
"By body, yes, but not of spirit." She said as she crossed her arms. "The Force works in mysterious ways that not even I have all of the answers on how it works. Though, I do know the ones retaining to you." She said as she pointed at me.
"Am I really Dakota Feichko?" I asked, where everyone looked confused at my question.
"Partly, yes, though you are not yet fully him." She said, with me thinking about it.
"If I am not fully him yet, then there is still a piece of me that's missing." I said as I narrowed my eyes. "Wait... Rika, my sister who is posessing another of my clones bodies, What questions did she ask? Not the answers, but the questions!" I said, making her smirk.
"Who do I get to join me in over throwing Salem's Rule? Where is Cinder? And Neo? How do I get the other lightsaber? How do I get through that god forsaken door in Atlas? How do I kill Salem? How do I beat her? Who is the chosen one? The one to kill Salem, to end this war? Do I return to the body that I once had, before being burned by Cinder? How? Is the mother in that story, Salem? If Salem and Abeloth were to fight, who would come out on top? How do I kill Abeloth? How do I defeat her? She was sealed away, how?" Jinn repeated everything Rika had asked, with some of it giving answers.
"Rika wants to take Salems place?" I asked, unsure on what to make of that.
"Cinder must of been at the bottom... alive." Yang said, with us now knowing why she jumped off.
"And Neo?" Blake said with narrowed eyes.
"Well, we were right about her going to get the other lightsaber." Weiss said as she crossed her arms. "But what door?" She asked as she thought about it.
"There is a secret passage under our mansion that hides the door. Behind it, is a true Lightsaber, much like the one I have." I reminded.
"She cant kill Salem, nor can she beat her." Qrow said as he shook his head. "She wouldn't of asked for the True Chosen One if she could." He said, with us nodding.
"She also returns to her original body some how, thats also a bit concerning." Ruby said as she looked at Qrow.
"The most concerning thing she brought up was The Mother, Abeloth... so she is real." I said with a shiver at the stories I remembered hearing, and the nightmares.
"Who?" Ozpin asked, looking at me.
"Abeloth was a story that was told to us to make sure we went to bed and were good. A being so terrifying that she makes this Salem look like a child. A being able to drain the souls of those she wishes from planets away." I said, shocking them.
"AND SHE IS REAL!? Nope, there is NO winning against that THING!?" Ruby yelled out in shock.
"Well, we don't have to, she was sealed away, so we dont have to worry about her." Blake informes, with us remembering what was said.
"Okay, thats some good news." I said as I looked up at Jinn. "Does Rika get rhe second Lightsaber?" I asked, with Jinn nodding her head.
Not through the main doors, no, for she never enters." Jinn said as she pointed at me. "She retrieves it from you, after a fight that causes you both to fall and fet seperated." She informed, with me nodding.
"Do I get it back?" I asked, with Jinn nodding.
"Yes." She answered, with me thinking once more.
This, Chosen One, who is it? I asked, making her smile and bow to me.
"Why, you are the chosen on, Master Dakota. You are destined to defeat Salem and bring balance back to the world." She said, with everyone looking at me.
"So, I kill Salem?" I asked, with her nodding. "I will not ask how, as that will alter the way that it happens, and could terminate the outcome all together." I said, shocking everyone even more.
"Are you insane!?" Ozpin yelled as he grabbed my shoulders and shook me. "You have the key to finding her weakness, you cannot pass on that opportunity!?" He yelled, with me pushing him off gently.
"I have a feeling on how it happens, and I will keep on track of that." I said as I looked at Ruby briefly before looking at Jinn. "Tell me, am I a Jedi? And if so, is my sister a Sith?" I asked, needing to know this answer.
"You are indeed on the path of a Jedi, as for your sister... she is neither Jedi, Grey Jedi, nor Sith." Jinn said, shocking me. "Your sister is hurt, and wants nothing more to prove that she is strong, stronger than anyone that comes across her. She may use the force, even the darkside of the forde, but she is only looking to prove to herself that she is strong." She said, with me feeling pity for her now.
"The massacre, the one where she killed my family... what lead up to those events?" I asked, with Blake taking my hand in hers as this was a heavy question to ask.
"Love." Jinn said, shocking us as someone as cold as Rike did it out of love. "Rika learned of the prophecy long ago, having over heard your parents talking about it. When they said Rika wasn't anything special, Rika pushed herself harder into training." We watched as a young Rika fought against an army by herself and still won, looked towards our parents and they turned their backs on her. "When you were born, they chose to ignore her over you, as they had discovered you to be the chosen one." She said as we watched as Rika stalked the family. "One day, someone approached Rika in the woods, looking to claim the Chosen one. This person, was none other than Salem." She said, shocking us. "They fought, and Salem won... However, instead of killing her, Salem gave her an alternative. Bring her the chosen one, and she would give her power." We watched the fight, it wasn't one sided as Salem was cut down multiple times, but Rika only grew tired as she was only human while Salem healed over time. "She told her parents about Salem, and they did exactly what Salem wanted, gave the child to Rika to give to Salem." She said, shocking us. "Rika, on her way to have the child over, had a change of heart and begged them to take the boy and run, but they chose to deliver the child themselves. At a young age, Dakota witnesses the death of his parents by his sister, and all who chose to join them. Being too young to understand, he hid away in a closet, watching her killing everyone, watching as she bleed the once blue saber into a crimson red out of anger and love for her brother." She said as we watched from a younger me's perspective, the red, green, yellow and blue lights flicking as everyone was killed by her. "In the end, Rika thought that Dakota ran away, and chose to join Salem, telling her that she killed the chosen one and her family as they "resisted" her offer." She finished as we watched Rika bowing to Salem, who looked both disappointed and pleased.
"She killed them all... for me?" I asked as I held a hand over my chest, knowing that there was more to Rika than she let on. I could feel the tears building up, but I pushed it down as to not seem weak. "Is she only fighting because she is hurting, or protecting me for whats to come?" I asked as I looked up to Jinn.
"Both." She said, shcoking me at my answer.
"The force, what is it exactly?" I asked, changing the subject as I needed to clear my head for a bit.
"That is no easy question." Jinn said as she closed her eyes. "The Force is described as a mysterious energy field that surrounds and binds all living things. It is a central element of the mythos, representing both the light and dark sides of a cosmic duality. The Force grants various abilities to those who can tap into it, notably the Jedi and Sith, who are trained to harness its power." She explained as we aaw a brown robbed figure appear with a blue lightsaber and a blacked robe figure with a red lightsaber. "The Force has two main aspects: the Light Side, which is associated with selflessness, compassion, and healing, and the Dark Side, which is linked to anger, hatred, and the pursuit of power. Jedi harness the Light Side to maintain peace and protect the galaxy, while Sith embrace the Dark Side to gain strength and control." She said as we watched as the Jedi took a meditative stance while the Sith fired off lightning. "Individuals sensitive to the Force can perform extraordinary feats, such as telekinesis, precognition, and mind influence. Overall, the Force plays a crucial role in the struggles between good and evil, acting as a source of guidance and power for many." She said, with me nodding as I now understand that it was a mystery even to itself on what it was, but at the same time it wasn't.
"Other than myself and Rika, are there others who can tap into its power?" I asked, with her nodding.
"Yes, but they are extremely far away, and you will never meet them, for you will be the Last Jedi on this side of the galaxy, and no one else this far will be able to draw in the force on this part of it." She said, with me nodding. It was disappointing to hear, but with what I could do it was for the best.
That is all I wish to know... Ruby? Inasked, with her thinking about it.
"Ruby, please... Don't." Ozpin begged, knowing what Ruby wished to ask.
Qrow glances to Ozpin, and steps forward. "Hey." Qrow said, when suddenly, Yang, Weiss, Blake and I get defensive at Qrow speaking up. Ruby could only stair in disbelief. "Do whatever you think is right, kiddo." Qrow said as he closed his eyes and had his head lowered.
Dakota? Ruby asked as she looked at me, with me turning to look back at her. Ask Jinn; What is Ozpin hiding from us? She requested, with me nodding.
NOOOOOOO!!
What is Ozpin hiding from us? I asked for Ruby, with Jinn smiling at the question. Suddenly, I'm in a blank white space. Ruby? Blake? Yang? Weiss? I called out as I spun around, trying to find them. Oscar? Qrow? Maria? Where are you? I called out as I walked forward,
"Wha-- what? Weiss? Yang?" I heard Ruby from above me, with me looking up and seeing nothing.
"Blake? Ruby!" Yang called from below, with me looking down
"Ruby? Ruby?" Weiss called out from behind, where I turned around and saw her for a split second before it looked like she walked behind a wall.
Dakota? Blake called out from behind me, with me looking at her as she ran forward, only for it to look like something move in front of her and she was gone just like Weiss.
Suddenly, an environment manifests, showing a path leading to a castle in the distance. A woman humming can be heard in the background. "Once upon a time, there stood a lonely tower." Jinn said as Qrow now stood before me from smoke before it blinded me and I was now in his place. "That sheltered a lonely girl." Jinn said as a rather beautiful woman sitting in front of a mirror then appears. I watched as Ruby walked up to her, curious. "Named... Salem." Jinn said, shocking us at the origins of Salem.
