Chapter 7 Awaken

Inside the Clover Kingdom palace Alibaba and his guardian ÄRM closed in on King Augustus, Snow, Edward, Alviss, and Belle. Snow and her group were both surprised and horrified to see that the Chess had arrived in Clover Kingdom and had already launched a attack that had breached the palace. Augustus was both angered and horrified by this intrusion, but he also saw it as an opportunity to show off his power and greatness to his guests.
"Everyone kindly step aside. I will handle this ruffian." Said Augustus standing up from his throne and pulling out his Grimoire.
"Well this should be good. Bring it on your majesty!" Said Alibaba.
"You will regret coming here! Light Magic: Absolute Monarch of Divine Brilliance!" Said Augustus as he did his magic.
A giant light construct of King Augustus appeared armed with a scepter and it slowly made it's way towards Alibaba and his genie. Snow and her group watched on in awe wondering what kind of powers the light construct had. Alibaba's genie just scowled at the light construct then delivered a few powerful punches to it and the light construct exploded into light and faded away.
"My spell!" Cried Augustus in horror and dismay.
"That...was it?" Asked Snow a bit dumbfounded.
"Well...that was very anticlimactic." Said Edward.
"Many if the king of this kingdom has weak spells like that, conquering this place will be super easy." Said Alibaba.
Alviss realized he might have to be the one to fight the Bishop and was fixing to spring into action, when Edward stopped him.
"Alviss I need you to knock me out. I have a feeling there are Knights here and we're going to need his help." Said Edward.
"Are you sure?" Asked Alviss.
"I'm sure just do it quickly." Said Edward as Alibaba's genie closed in.
Alviss nodded and pulled out his 13 Totem Pole: Rid Mode ÄRM and struck Edward on the top of the head! Edward began to fall backwards unconscious and his his body was enveloped in light as Alibaba's genie swung a big fist at Snow and the others. Alibaba cackled as he believed victory was going to be his and then his laughed died in his throat in surprise as a new figure stood before Snow and the others and caught the guardian's fist with ease stopping it with just their bare hands!
The newcomer was large muscular man tan-colored skin, with dark brown hair in a ponytail, and a pair of scars under his right eye. The man wore a white jacket coat over a black shirt, black pants, black shoes, and rings and bangles ÄRMs on both his hands and wrists.
Alibaba recognized the man and a feeling of dread and fear went through the Bishop's body.
"You're the commander of the Cross Guard, Alan!" Yelled Alibaba in surprise as the man shoved the guardian back.
Alan turned his attention to Snow and the others.
"Princess Snow, so I take it we came to the Clover Kingdom for help and the Chess launched an attack." Said Alan looking at his surroundings.
"They did. We don't know how many are attacking." Said Snow.
"Alright I'll deal with clown and go fight whoever else is attacking. Alviss you stay and keep the princess safe." Said Alan.
"Yes sir." Said Alviss.
Alan turned his attention to Alibaba and his guardian and cracked his knuckles.
"I won't be intimidated by a relic like you! I will defeat you and become a Knight!" Yelled Alibaba.
The guardian let out a roar as it threw a much stronger punch at Alan. Alan just smirked as he threw a great punch of his own using both his strength and his ring and bangles ÄRM Air Hammer to strike. The two fists met and Alan's tore they the guardian's with ease making the guardian explode into a cloud of smoke!
"Impossible!" Sputtered Alibaba taking a step back.
"I'll admit that was a nice warmup." Said Alan walking forward.
Alibaba shook with both a mix of anger and fear, before he pulled out a curved sword and launched himself at Alan. Alan punched Alibaba in the chest sending him flying out the hole he had come through when he busted into the palace. Alibaba crashed to the ground in a unconscious heap and Alan walked by him without paying him any mind as he prepared to join the fight against the other Chess attacking the castle.
