Rena was now holding up Maria and Nao's teddy bears, putting on a show for the two babies she was watching.

"I'm so happy you decided to be my friend," Rena said as the yellow bear.

"Me too," she said as the black bear before making them hug. "You're my best friend."

"The end." Rena smiled as she looked at Maria and Nao.

Both smiled back up at her. Maria clapped her hands while Nao reached up to her.

"Oh, you're both the best, best." Rena smiled as she picked them up after handing them their bears back. She then looked down at Maria. "I bet you're happy to have a friend closer to your age, aren't you?"

"Rena." Maria smiled at her.

"I'm not close to your age, silly." Rena giggled. "Nao is close to your age."

Rena then turned to Nao as she heard her giggling. She smiled as she watched her little sister smile up at her. She then looked out her window and saw a familiar face.

"Rosa's back!" Rena yelled as she carried the both of them out of her room and to the kitchen. She saw Rosa just walking in with Shion. "Rosa!"

"Good to see you, Rena." Rosa smiled as Rena stood in front of her. "I hope Maria didn't give you any problems."

"She was an angel." Rena giggled. "Her playing with Nao probably helped both of them, though."

"Maria played with Nao?" Rosa's eyes went wide.

"Yep." Rena nodded. "It was so cute. Maria was leaving her alone at first, but then Nao needed to be changed and was crying, so I did that. Then she kept crying after that, and I didn't know why. When I was about to get my mom, Maria had come over holding her bear. I let Nao down, and Maria just gave it back like she knew."

"That's so adorable!" Shion smiled as she stood next to Rosa and leaned toward Maria. "You're just an adorable little angel, aren't you?"

"Shion!" Maria smiled up at her now.

"You still remember me." Shion giggled as she lifted Maria out of Rena's arms.

"Maria played with another baby…" Rosa mumbled to herself. She smiled as she looked at Maria. "Mama loves you so much, Maria."

"Mama!" Maria looked up at Rosa as Rosa kissed her forehead.

"Anyways," Rosa said as she stood up and looked at Rena's parents. They were both in the same spots. She then looked at Rena. "Rena, would you mind taking Shion with you and showing her how to care for Maria and Nao? She still needs more practice."

"Hey!" Shion blushed. "That's not true!"

"Sure thing, Rosa." Rena smiled as she carried Nao to her room. Shion sighed as she followed Rena while holding Maria.

"So, now I can start asking some questions." Rosa turned around and dropped her smile. "Does someone want to tell me what you two argued about earlier?"

Both of them stayed silent as they looked down. Rosa sighed as she walked to the table.

"Okay, let's start with you since you've been too quiet." Rosa faced Rena's father. "Why is she here if you two are divorced?"

"She…" Mr. Ryuugu sighed. "She came back wanting Rena back in her life. I thought she wanted to take my daughter away from me."

"I see." Rosa sighed as she turned to Reiko. "Is that true?"

"Yes and no." Reiko sighed as she stood straight up. "By the way, I'm Reiko. Sorry, I didn't give my,"

"I don't care about that right now." Rosa cut her off as she glared at her. "Answer my question."

"Sorry." Reiko frowned as she took a deep breath. "I want Rena back in my life, but it's because I wanted Nao to know her older sister. She should know who her older sister is."

"Yet she made me sign an agreement that in exchange for money, we'd never contact her again." Mr. Ryuugu interrupted.

"You agreed to that instead of fighting to keep Rena in her life?" Rosa immediately turned to him and started to grind her teeth. "How can you be so selfish, too,"

"I wanted Rena to be able to go to college!" Mr. Ryuugu started to cry. "I wasn't sure I'd ever make that kind of money, and I didn't want Rena to worry about her future because of me."

Rosa frowned upon hearing that and looked away. She then turned back to Reiko.

"Please tell me you're not asking for that money back in return for having your daughter back in your life."

"No." Reiko frowned. "I'm not asking for money or anything. I just want my daughters to know each other."

"And why exactly do you want that?" Rosa crossed her arms.

"I knew Rena hated me for what happened between me and my ex-husband." Reiko kept looking down. "Part of me thought Rena would be better without me. I knew it was too much to ask for her to choose back then and that it seemed like I didn't care about her because I wanted a divorce. Then I had Nao, and I kept seeing Rena when I looked at her."

Reiko started to tear up. She was shaking as she continued.

"I know Rena may never forgive me, but I want Nao to know how amazing her big sister is. If she doesn't want me around, that's fine. As long as Nao gets to have her in her life, I'll be happy."

Rosa sighed as she looked at her and then Mr. Ryuugu. She took in a deep breath before continuing.

"And I thought my family had problems. Look, Rena isn't my daughter, despite how close we are, but she is someone I care about. And I want her to be happy."

Rena's parents were now looking up at Rosa as she continued.

"I know she doesn't want to be involved with your mess, but Nao isn't part of that. Rena can pretend she didn't want her in her life, but she would have regretted that. So, for now, I'd like to ask both of you to let Nao be part of her life."

"I don't want to lose my daughter." Mr. Ryuugu said as he stayed in his chair.

"You won't," Rosa replied. "If Reiko wants Rena so much in her life, she can try to earn it by letting Nao be part of Rena's life."

"You're fine with me being in Rena's life?" Reiko's eyes widened.

"I'm okay with you trying if Rena agrees to that." Rosa held her hand up. "I don't care what she wants to do about you, but as long as Nao is in her life, I'm happy."

"Okay." Reiko nodded.

"And you?" Rosa turned to Rena's father. He nodded in response. "Good, now, if you excuse me, I need to have a more important conversation with your daughter."

Rosa walked down a hall to Rena's room. She looked inside and giggled as she saw Shion and Rena holding up Maria and Nao respectfully like they were flying.

"Seems you're getting better at this, Shion." Rosa walked in.

"Maybe a little." Shion giggled as she held Maria closer to her.

"Shion is a natural." Rena giggled as she held Nao closer to her.

"In that case, can I talk to you alone, Rena?" Rosa smiled. "There's a few things we should talk about."

'Oh, okay." Rena frowned as she sat Nao on her bed. As she started to walk away, Nao began to cry as she reached towards Rena. Rena turned back and started to tear up.

"Oh, she can come too." Rosa giggled. "She's involved with some of what we need to discuss."

"Okay." Rena nodded as she picked Nao back up. Nao smiled at her, making Rena smile back. Rena then followed Rosa out of her room.

"Looks like it's just us now." Shion giggled.

"Shion." Maria smiled as she looked up at her.
