"Traitorous scum." Knightwalker mumbled as Lily fell past her. "You're not a noble Exceed, just a disgusting fallen. You never should have forgotten your debt to our king."
"Its the evil Erza." Natsu said.
"Self-righteous bitch." Gajeel mumbled in anger. "You're gonna pay for that."
"Someone, please. Save Lily!" Shagotte begged, prompting one Exceed to fly after him.
"Scarlet!" E. Erza growled, looking up at her clone.
"Knightwalker..." The Earthland redhead mumbled as the Exceed carrying her struggled to stay in the air.
"I'll handle this." Mystogan said before she could do anything. "Captain Knightwalker, you dare take up arms against the prince of Edolas?" Knightwalker glared up at the man in anger.
"YOU'RE NO SON OF MINE!" Faust's voice boomed all around them. "NEVER ONCE DID I EVEN THINK OF YOU AS SUCH!"
"That's the king!" Coco called out.
"Okay, so where is he hiding?" Laki asked, looking around.
"YOU HAVE A LOT OF NERVE RETURNING HOME." Faust said, directed at Mystogan. "AFTER SEVEN YEARS IN THE OTHER WORLD, YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST RETURN!? I'M NO FOOL, I KNOW YOU'RE THE ONE WHOSE BEEN CLOSING ALL OF MY ANIMA PORTALS. YOU'RE JUST A FILTHY TRAITOR, AND YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR SINS!"
"Where is the voice coming from?" Wendy asked.
"No clue, I'm afraid." Carla answered.
"Show yourself, coward!" Natsu shouted.
"Your Anima project has failed." Mystogan said back at the voice. "There's no reason to fight anymore. Just surrender and we can end this peacefully."
"WHO SAYS I NEED A REASON TO FIGHT?" Faust asked as the ground beneath the group started glowing. "THIS IS NOT A FIGHT, BUT DESTRUCTION ON ALL THOSE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO DEFIE THE KING." The glow died down, revealing strange looking sphere.
"What is that?" Laki asked. "Some kind of weapon?"
"SINCE YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS INSEST ON INTERFERING, THEN I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO EXTERMINATE YOU ALL!" Faust declared as the sphere started changing.
"Father, stop this." Mystogan begged.
"I AM NOT YOUR FATHER." Faust said back. "I AM KING OF EDOLAS. ONCE I KILL YOU HERE, THERE WILL BE NO ONE LEFT TO STOP MY GLORIOUS ANIMA. I'LL CREATE AN EVEN BIGGER LACRIMA, AND COMBINE IT WITH THE EXCEEDS! ETERNAL MAGIC POWER WILL BE MINE!"
"No..." Shagotte mumbled in fear as legs crushed the ground on impact. A mechanical tail popped out of the back before a head with glowing red eyes raised up.
"NOTHING YOU CAN DO WILL STOP ME! I AM THE KING!" He roared as everyone looked at the device.
"Is that... the Dorma Anim?" Shagotte asked in fear.
"The dorma-anim. From our ancient language, it means 'dragon knight'." Mystogan said aloud. "It's reinforced dragon armor."
"A dragon?" Natsu asked.
"Ya know, now that you mention it, it kinda does look like one." Happy said.
"Does that mean it's magical armor?" Wendy asked.
"It's enchanted armor made from a lacrima called 'wizard canceller'." Coco explained. "It means that all of our attacks will be canceled out. The king must be inside controlling it."
"SOLDIERS, CAPTURE THE EXCEEDS AT ONCE!" Faust shouted. "THAT IS AN ORDER!"
"Yessir!" The mob of troops shouted, making their legions fly towards the cats.
"Everyone, fly away!" Mystogan shouted, making them fly away.
"Get them!" Knightwalker shouted, making the troops fire cannons at the cats, turning any they hit into lacrima.
"My queen, we must leave." Mysdroy said, pulling Shagotte away.
"Get them!" Knightwalker ordered.
"I need you all to protect the Exceeds." Erza said told the others. "I'll go handle Knightwalker."
"Right, and we'll deal with that huge thing down there." Gray said, looking down at the massive suit.
"How are you going to do that?" Coco asked. "Every magical attack thrown at it all will just cancel out."
"We don't have a choice." Mystogan said back. "We have to protect the Exceeds. They're completely defenseless."
"Let's go!" Natsu declared as Legiy flew forward.
"NO ONE WILL ESCAPE THE KINGS WRATH!" Faust roared as a blast charged from the cannon in its mouth. "BE GONE!" The blast fired aimed at the beast, only for Mystogan to cut off the beam.
"Mystogan!" Erza called out.
"MYSTOGAN?" Faust asked back. "THAT'S THE NAME YOU CHOOSE FOR YOURSELF, JELLAL!"
"Erza, get going!" The prince shouted back. "I'll be fine. Three Layered Magic Circle: Mirror Water!" Three magic seals appeared before him and the beam bounced back at the source, creating an explosion.
"HEEHEH. THAT ALMOST TICKLED." Faust chuckled through smoke. "YOU CAN ATTACK ME WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE, AND IT WON'T DO ANY GOOD! THE DORMA ANIM IS IMPERVIOUS TO MAGIC!" A beam fired again and hit Mystogan and his legion, sending both to the ground. "AND THE PRINCE GOES WHERE HE BELONGS, ON THE GROUND! I'M SURE HE'LL ENJOY CRAWLING IN THE MUD WITH THE REST OF YOU!"
"Ice-Make:-" Gray started before legion moved out of the way of another beam. "This is impossible! I can't fight and dodge at the same time!" More roars fired out and turned Exceeds into lacrima.
"HOW GLORIOUS!" Faust cheered. "EVERY SINGLE EXCEED WILL BE TURNED INTO A LACRIMA!"
"Whose the genius who came up with that thing!?" One Exceed asked.
"He who turns the heavens black. The dragon knight." Mysdroy said. "Legend says it was used to attack Extalia, and almost destroyed all of Edolas as well."
"So the humans decided to seal it away for all eternity." Muganto added. "Yet here it is again. I'm afraid that's all you know."
"But the legends say the world most of lost its magic power when that thing was created and turned the sky black." Shagotte added.
"YES, KEEP RUNNING!" Faust taunted. "I WILL FIND YOU ALL AND-" A blast crashed into the machines neck, making the next shot miss. "WHAT WAS THAT!?" Another blast hit its chest, creating another explosion. "HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!?" A third blast struck the back. "WHO IS DAMAGING THE DORMA ANIM!?"
"Sky Dragon Roar!" Wendy shouted before blasting the suit with wind, sending it sliding back.
"Nice hit, Wendy." Laki said as the girl landed next to her and the boys.
"Thanks, but I'm sure you guys can do a lot more." She said back.
"That creep hurt my cat." Gajeel mumbled. "He's gonna pay."
"OF COURSE IT WAS YOU." Faust growled out.
"Be careful!" Carla shouted at Wendy.
"You guys keep the cats safe." Natsu said, making Erza nod.
"Are you crazy?" Coco asked. "They're only four people."
"They'll be fine." Gray said. "There's no one better to take down a dragon than those who were trained to slay them. Only Dragon Slayers can beat him."
With Pantherlily
"All those lacrima. Is everyone captured by the army?" The female Exceed asked as she stood next to Lily.
"Once the chain was severed, ten years of magic power was lost to the king." Pantherlily explained in pain. "Even IF they were to capture all of the Exceeds, they could never recover that much. They've sunk to using the Dorma Anim. He knows what's going to happen next."
"Don't move, you're in pain." She told him.
"Lily, you're okay." Both cats turned to see Mystogan come up from behind.
"My prince." The large black cat said.
With the Dragon Slayers
"Seriously? Four humans are gonna fight that monster?" The Exceed asked as he and the council looked out. "Either they're crazy strong or crazy stupid."
"Shagotte, come." Mysdroy said to the queen. "We must leave before you get hurt.
"Side by side by side again, lovers." Gajeel teased.
"Perfect, we have to work together again." Natsu complained.
"Natsu, this isn't the time to fight with Gajeel." Laki told her boyfriend. "You two can settle your grudge after we beat this old man."
"Sounds good to me." He cheered.
"DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH." Faust said back.
"I'll give you guys a boost." Wendy said. "Oh swift winds that speed through the heavens: Vernia!" Three magic circles appeared under each Slayer before their bodies glowed red, brown, and green respectively.
"Woah, I feel so much lighter." Gajeel commented before they launched forward.
"DON'T MOCK ME!" Faust shouted before firing a beam at them. The three moved out of the way and the blast hit the ground.
"Man, this is awesome!" Natsu cheered as they flew around him. "Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Natsu lit his hand on fire before slamming it into the mecha's head.
"Iron Dragon Club!" Gajeel chanted before slamming his club into the suits jaw.
"Wood Dragon Tail Crush!" Laki flipped in midair before slamming her leg down on its neck.
The three bounced around the arena hitting the suit when they pleased. "I DON'T UNDERSTAND. HOW IS THEIR MAGIC ABLE TO DAMAGE THE DORMA ANIM!?" Faust asked aloud.
"The hell kind of armor is he wearing?" Gajeel asked. "That thing should have fallen over by now."
"I've got this." Wendy said. "I call upon the might to cleave the heavens: Arms!" Another seal appeared and the Dragon Slayers felt their strength increase.
"Okay, this is just badass." Natsu cheered.
"Who's ready to pop this tin can open?" Gajeel asked.
"HOW IS THEIR MAGIC POWER INCREASING!?" Faust asked before the three hit him all out once. "IT MUST BE HER..." He mumbled, looking over at Wendy. "YOU'RE DEAD. DRAGON RIDER MISSILES, LAUNCH!" A chamber opened up and missiles flew out aimed at Wendy.
"Wendy!" Natsu called out.
"I'll be fine." She said. "Vernia!" Using her speed booster spell on herself, Wendy launched back and the missiles hit the ground. She looked up and saw that some were following her.
"Heat seeking?" Gajeel questioned as Wendy tripped over a rock. Natsu raced over and swatted the missiles out of the sky, making them explode.
"Thanks." Wendy said.
"No one's dying on my watch." He said back.
"VERY WELL, HAVE SOME MORE!" Faust said before blows started landing on him.
"Knock, knock." Gajeel said as he slammed his mallet hands on him.
"This isn't the time for jokes." Laki said as she whipped the beast.
"ANNOYING FLIES!" Faust shouted before he flung them off him.
"Crap, they're two left." Wendy pointed before Natsu raced forward. "Wait, stop. Those aren't like the others!" The rockets stopped firing and the pods exploded into flames.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Faust laughed as the flames roared around him. "FINALLY, I'M THROUGH WITH THOSE PESKY BRATS!" A suction noise caught his attention. "NOT POSSIBLE! HE'S EATING THE FLAMES FROM THE EXPLOSION!?" A crunching noise caught his attention and he looked over his shoulder. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? WHY IS HE EATING THE DORMA ANIM'S TAIL, AND WHY IS SHE EATING THE SUPPORT BEAMS FROM THIS OLD PLACE!?"
"Man, that fire was disgusting." Natsu said as he finished his meal.
"Same with the iron." Gajeel added spitting out a nut.
"This wood doesn't taste anything like the stuff in the forest." Laki commented. "Still..."
"Now I've got a fire in my belly." All three said as they regrouped around Wendy.
"You don't get to say that, metal head." Natsu told Gajeel.
"Sorry, first thing that came to mind." The pierced man said.
"Focus, boys." Laki said.
"INCREDIBLE..." Faust mumbled in amazement. "IS EVERY EARTHLAND WIZARD LIKE THIS!?"
"No wonder people call this thing a dragon, it's pretty tough." Natsu said.
"That ain't no dragon." Gajeel said back. "It's nothing but an old man hiding in a hunk of metal."
"He doesn't have any guards around to protect him, so we just need to beat him. Then this all comes to an end." Wendy said.
"That's something we can do." Laki said, pushing her glasses back in place.
'So this is the power of a Dragon Slayer...' Faust thought in excitement. 'I must have it for myself!'
"Something's happening." Wendy said as a black cloud covered the armor. "It's pulling in magic from around itself."
'Once I capture the Dragon Slayers, I can start my Anima project all over again.' Faust thought as his machine started shifting. 'They are the key to everlasting magic... wait, they're not even humans. They're weapons for me to use. If I happen to damage them to capture them, so be it.'
"I SHALL ROB YOU OF YOUR WILL TO FIGHT!" Faust shouted. "BEHOLD THE MIGHT OF BLACK HEAVEN DORMA ANIM!" All four Slayers stared at the transformed machine, looking more like a knight, before it charged them. "YOU'RE MINE!" He slammed his spear arm down and sent all four flying. Natsu recovered first and slammed his burning fist into it. "THAT DIDN'T EVEN TICKLE." Faust said before pushing him off.
"Natsu!" Laki and Wendy cried out.
"That thing didn't even flinch against his attack." Gajeel mumbled.
"YOU CAN FEEL IT, CAN'T YOU!?" Faust laughed. "THIS ABSOLUTE MAGIC POWER! DON'T EVEN BOTHER BEGGING FOR MERCY. I WANT TO WATCH YOU TREMBLE IN HORROR. YOU FACE THE ONE DRAGON YOU CANNOT SLAY." He slammed his spear down and a wave of energy crashed into them.
Far away, Mystogan watched the scene as best he could. "Forgive me for this, Natsu."
"Your majesty, what is your plan?" Pantherlily asked, using the other Exceed as a support system to stand. "You fell in battle on purpose. Why?" Mystogan turned to the captain with a smirk on his face. "Was this all to save me?"
"How do you feel?" The prince asked.
"Nothing but a scra- agh!" Pantherlily started before groaning in pain.
"We don't have any other choice but to leave my father to Natsu and the others." Mystogan said, walking over. "We have something else we must attend to."
"What is that?" Pantherlily asked.
"One final duty to this kingdom, and you're going to help me do it." Mystogan explained, confusing Pantherlily even more.
With Erza and Co.
"I can hear them screaming..." Carla mumbled as they watched the army blast the Exceeds into lacrima.
"The army has almost completely reached the Exceeds." Erza said.
"There's just so many of them." Gray observed. "So, what's the plan of attack?"
"We stop them before it's too late." She said back. "If we fail this, we not only fail the Exceeds but Mystogan as well."
"Don't count is out either." Rose spoke up. "We wanna fight too."
"There you are, Scarlet." All looked to see Knightwalker on her legion.
"Why are you here?" Erza asked. Seconds later, a swarm of army legions flew up next to their commander.
"Crap, we flew right into a trap!" Gray realized.
"Legiy, we need to go." Coco told the beast before it was blasted in the chest by a shot from the ground. "No!" Coco shouted as everyone fell off the beasts back and started falling.
"Those who threaten our kingdom must die." E. Erza said. "Land and kill them all." Her troops obeyed and they flew pass her.
"Stop flailing, child!" Carla begged as she grabbed onto the girl. "If you keep moving, I'm going to drop you."
"We need to save Legiy!" Coco begged.
"Stop squirming!" Rose shouted, grabbing onto her arms. "Do you wanna die!?"
"You are so heavy..." Happy groaned as he carried Gray to the ground. "Please don't strip your pants off..."
"Shut up!" Gray shouted before looking. "Where the hell is Erza?"
Knightwalker looked over to see a chain wrapped around a legions beast and Erza spinning around it. Distracted for a second, she barely had time to block her sword. "Shall we settle this, Knightwalker?" Erza asked.
Knightwalker pushed her off and the clone jumped off the legion. "Keep moving to the surface, men!" Knightwalker shouted as she followed her Earthland clone. "I'll deal with her alone." Both landed on an ancient Exceed city as the troops started flying past them. "Seems like a good enough place for your grave."
"I cannot believe that someone with my face could act so heinous against Fairy Tail." Erza said as she donned her Heavens Wheel armor.
"I can't believe someone with my face would dare oppose the king." Knightwalker said as her spear changed.
"We only need one Erza!" Both shouted as they charged each other.
With Gray and Co.
The group of five laid sprawled out on the ground in pain. "Everyone okay?" Rose asked.
"I think so..." Gray mumbled before looking around. "Hold on, where's Erza?"
"She's facing off against Knightwalker." Carla explained.
A blast forced them apart as they looked to a squad of royal army soldiers before them. "They found us!" Gray shouted as they circled him, Coco and the Exceeds. "Crap, there's so many of them."
"We're completely surrounded." Coco mumbled in fear.
The army fried conversion cannon blasts at the three Exceeds, forcing them to jump out of the way. "Leave them alone!" Gray shouted as he crafted a wall of ice. The other side of the troops kept firing at the trio. "Why are they only aiming for them?"
"The Exceeds have all been turned into lacrima." A captain explained, shocking the group. "These three are the only ones left, so just give up and turn into power for our kingdom!" He fired another blast and the three jumped out of the way.
"The Exceeds are just as much alive as us." Gray said as he gathered his magic. "Are you that desperate for magic power that you don't care about that!? You people disgust me!" He slammed his hands down and ice shot up and forced the soldiers back. "No one is dying on my watch!"
Edolas Fairy Tail Guildhall
"We've got to go help the Exceeds." E. Lucy spoke towards the guild. "Gajeel told me everything. The royal army is planning on using them all as batteries."
"Gajeel... you mean that reporter?" E. Lisanna asked.
"He's a creeper, but he's never steered anyone wrong." E. Jet added.
"We have to help them!" The blonde shouted. "Both them and the Earthland wizards are in danger. The army is planning on wiping them both out. We can't just let these guys take over the world!"
"But... the army has all kinds of weapons." E. Natsu spoke up. "We're completely out gunned."
"He's not wrong." E. Mirajane added. "We've barely survived with what we have."
"I hate to say it, but they would wipe us out in a second." Surge spoke up.
"I have an idea." E. Droy spoke up. "Let's just wait until the two are done fighting, then we swoop in and take them both out."
"That is a good suggestion, Droy." E. Cana agreed. "Strike while the iron is hot and all."
"Maybe we should get on the army's good side and help them." E. Juvia suggested. "They'll be indebted to us and no longer see us as an enemy."
"It would be nice not to keep running every ten days." E. Wendy agreed.
"You're the smartest, Juvia!" E. Gray praised.
"Get lost, creep!" She shouted back.
"Its okay, Gray." E. Laki said, cuddling up to him. "I'm always here for you."
"Not going to happen." E. Lucy said, confusing everyone. "The king is mad with power. Side with him or against him, he will come out of us."
"She has a point." E. Lisanna added. "We can't trust them. Even if we side with them, they could turn on us at any second."
"Droy's idea won't work either." The blonde added. "Faust isn't just gonna sit around. Once he's done with the Exceeds, he's gonna come after us. He'll turn this kingdom into even more of a tyrannical rule than it already is. We need to work with the Exceeds if we want to stop him."
The guild began mumbling amount themselves at the idea of fighting the whole army at once. "Maybe this isn't a good idea. I think we should just let them handle each other." Dragion suggested.
"He's got a point." E. Alzack told his version of Bisca. "I'd rather stay and cuddle with you."
"Same here." She said back. "It has nothing to do with us."
"Jeez, you're all a bunch of wimps!" E. Lucy shouted. "Just because things are fine now doesn't mean that the king won't come after us once he's done."
"We know that, Lucy." E. Mira said.
"Its a possibility, but we can't take on the king and the army." E. Bisca added.
"Well, we're running low on magic power." E. Levy spoke up. "If I had to guess, we have enough for one final warp. So if we do this, there's no turning back."
"We need to make a decision now." E. Mira said. "Are we going to aid the Exceeds or not?"
The guild members started mumbling about what to do. "I can't think of anything else to convince you." E. Lucy said. "Please! The Earthland Fairy Tail members are out there fighting for us! Earthland Natsu, Gray, Laki, all of them are out there! Are we gonna let them die or are we gonna help them!? I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm sick of running. It's time we fight back! We need to fight on, because that's what a Fairy Tail wizard does!"
With the Erzas
"Trinity Sword!" Erza swung her swords and an arrow head of energy shot forward.
"Gravity Core!" Knightwalker's spear created a black hole that met the attack, creating a massive explosion. The two glared at each other before the captains spear split into two. "Blue Crimson!" Fire and ice shoot forward, forcing Erza to dodge.
Finding a moment of space, she landed on the ground. "Requip!" Erza chanted before her armor shifted. "Morning Star Armor! Photon Slicer!" Her daggers shot out a beam of electric energy that flew towards Knightwalker.
"Luna Save!" Knightwalker's spear shifted again and she sliced through the energy.
"My attack was cut in half!?" Erza asked in shock.
"Silfarion!" E. Erza shouted as she launched forward and stabbed Erza into a series of old buildings, sending her flying back. "You're mine now!" Erza reacted quickly and requiped swords into her feet and blocked her counterpart.
With the Dragon Slayers
The Earthland wizards were knocked back by the massive robot as Faust laughed at them. "ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. YOU DON'T HAVE A CHANCE OF DEFEATING ME!"
"Everyone is suffering because there's no magic in this world." Natsu spoke up, willing himself to his feet. "So why do you have such large amount to use, huh? Tell me!"
Faust chuckled at the question. "EVERY KING HAS IMPOSED SOME FORM OF TAX ON HIS PEOPLE. THE DORMA ANIM REQUIRES A CONTINUOS FLOW OF MAGIC POWER, SO I GATHER IT FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD. THAT'S WHY IT WAS SEALED AWAY. NOW THAT IT'S BEEN ACTIVATED, I HAVE TO WIN. FOR THE SAKE OF THE WORLD!"
"Don't give us that crap!" Laki shouted back.
"You've never cared about your people." Gajeel growled out. "If you did, you'd have destroyed that thing."
Faust chuckled back as Natsu ignited his fists. "One reason I joined Fairy Tail was to help anyone in need. I don't really care about your world. But I'm stopping you for everyone in this world!"
With Gray and Co.
"Get lost!" Gray shouted as he blasted troops with ice.
"Stick with us, Carla." Rose said as she and Happy guided the white cat.
Coco raced forward and kneed a soldier in the face as more troops shot magic bullets at the group. "Seriously, magic bullets too!?" Gray asked annoyed.
A single shot flew towards Happy and Rose. "Look out!" Carla raced over and pushed him out of the way, taking the shot for them.
"No!" Both shouted as they raced over to her.
"Crap! I hit one of the Exceeds." The guard who fired mumbled.
"Moron, we need them for their magic power." The troop next to him said.
"Hang on, Carla." Happy begged as a wall of ice protected them from more shots.
"Leave them alone!" Gray shouted before a roar caused him to look up at a swarm of legions march over. One crashed into him as the army moved in on them.
"If we don't do something, everyone will die." Happy mumbled in fear as troops pointed their spears at a down Gray. "Someone... please help us..."
A small seedling sprouted up before a swarm of vines shot out and wrapped around the necks of the legions. "Is the forest alive or something?" Gray asked as a massive tree rose up.
"No way..." One soldier mumbled.
"But, they always run..." Anther added.
A flag barring the guilds emblem flew triumphantly as the whole guild charged the army. "Here comes the Calvary..." Rose said with a smirk of relief.
"Sorry we're late." E. Lucy told the cats. "But we're here now, and that's what matters."
The guild charged into battle and started swinging their weapons around. "You're supposed to be me!?" Both Grays asked at the same time. "Put some clothes on!/Take some clothes off!"
"Wonderful, now there's two Grays." E. Juvia complained as she trapped two soldiers against her bust.
"Oh, how I wish I was those two..." Surge mumbled in joy.
"What is wrong with you?" Fullbuster asked.
"TWO GRAYS!" E. Laki cheered as she ran forward. "ITS A DREAM COME TRUE!"
Gray looked around and tried to get a sense of what was happening. "Shadow gear is the strongest team, I'm going gaga for Juvia, Laki's crazy for me. The hell is wrong with this place!?"
"Carla, look." Rose shook her oldest friend, making her open her eyes. "Fairy Tail saves the day again."
Carla looked over and smiled. "No matter what world we're in, they're always a noisy bunch."
"You're so cute when you hit someone other than me." E. Gray told his Juvia.
"Back off, and ditch some layers! Like the Earthland you!" She shouted back.
"Is all this really worth magic power!?" Said man asked a royal army member, who flailed around in panic.
"They just follow orders, that's all." E. Mirajane told him. "I'm sure a chunk of them don't like doing this, but-" She swung her sword and took out a charging troop. "The king will kill them if they don't obey."
"Oh crap!" Rose shouted as bullets started approaching them. E. Wendy raced over and blocked with her tonfas.
"Thanks, pretty Wendy." Happy said.
"Get out of here, it's too dangerous." She said before looking down at Carla. "You're hurt bad. Do you need any help?"
"...No, I'm fine." Carla answered. "These two will help-" The bluenette picked her up, cutting her off before she placed her away from the battle.
"You should be okay here." The girl told her. "Just say the word and I'll be there." She stood up and left to rejoin the battle.
"No matter the world, Wendy is nice." Rose said with a smile.
With the Erzas
Knightwalker charged Erza and she spun around, blocking the spear with the swords in her feet. Standing back up, Scarlet caught her blades and Requipped her boots back on before blocking another thrust. "Just die already!" The captain shouted.
"Not happening!" Erza shouted back as the impact created an explosion. The shockwave pushed them back as they glared at each other, panting heavily. "To think that were this evenly matched..."
"Even? Not at all." Knightwalker said back as her spear started sparking. "Behold the final form of my Ten Commandments." Erza watched as the spear changed again. "The divine spear, Ravelt. This was forged by the greatest blacksmiths in Edolas. A single strike will cause ultimate decimation enough to shake the heavens."
Erza's body glowed as she Requipped into a completely pink armor. "Armadura Fairy, my strongest armor." She said, pointing her sword at her clone. "It shares the name of my guild because it holds all the qualities my guild holds dear."
"So, your strongest against my strongest?" Knightwalker asked. "This should be entertaining."
"Give me everything you have." Erza boasted as the two charged each other, glowing in energy. They hit and the entire island was blown into pieces, leaving both the armor and the weapon completely destroyed.
"My... my Ravelt..." Knightwalker mumbled.
"The armor..." Erza mumbled. The chunk of island that survived started shaking as it started to fall. "The island lost its ability to fly?"
"Neither of us have any magic power left..." Knightwalker mumbled. "But still I will kill you!" Erza raced forward and punched the captain in the face as the two started a fist fight. "Damn you!" Knightwalker through a fist that hit Erza. "For the sake of eternal magic power, I cannot lose!" She slammed Erza down into the ground.
"Just how many lives does that magic power justify killing!?" Erza asked, flipping her clone off. "Robbing people through fear, through force, through power!"
"That's how humans work!" Knightwalker shouted back before getting socked in the face.
"That's not true!" Erza shouted. "We're filled with love and understanding! It's in us to protect what we hold dear and fight for them!" The two locked hands and tried to overpower each other. "You can't hear the cries of the Exceeds?!"
"Of course I hear them, even more than you!" Knightwalker shouted before slamming her knee into her clones chin. "But we have no choice! We need magic power to survived!"
"You're wrong! The world I speak of is made of people, not power!" Erza shouted before throwing knightwalker to the side.
"This world is dying..." The captain said in her knees. "This world is losing all of its magic power, and we're trying to stop it! You could never possibly understand!" She charged forward and started punching Erza. "The fear, uneasiness, and the despair of losing your magic! We cannot survive without it!"
Erza caught her wrists and clutched them to her side. "So why aren't we dead right now!?" She asked, shocking her counterpart. "Look at ourselves! We've used up all of our magic power, so why are we alive!? Even without it, humans don't die! We have the strength to overcome those fears! That's what it means to be alive!"
The island kept heading towards to the ground as the two stared at each other. "Listen to me, Erza! You and I share the same weaknesses and strengths! That means you and I share the same heart! Don't let your fear overpower that loving heart that's beating inside of your chest!"
'Is this me?..." Knightwalker asked.
"Speak with your heart, your true voice..." Erza said.
Knightwalker watched as tears flew off of her face. 'Tears...'
"You are not alone!" The Earthlander shouted as the island hit the ground.
"Was that Erza?" Gray asked as the whole ground shook from the impact.
The two Ezra's were blasted apart from each other as they stared up at the sky. "I can't even move anymore..." Knightwalker mumbled.
"But you're still alive..." Erza said back.
"I yield... you win Scarlet." Knightwalker breathed out.
"There is no winning or losing... we're both Erza." Scarlet said back.
"...I guess so..." Knightwalker mumbled.
The Royal City
Pantherlily and Mystogan walked through the castle as the massive cat looked around him. "Isn't this... the place where the anima spell was created?" The captain asked. "My prince, what is your plan?"
"I've spent a long time in Earthland..." The blunette explained. "There are skirmishes every now and then, but it's mostly peaceful there. It will serve as a much better home for this."
"Hold on... You're not doing what I think you're doing, are you!?" Pantherlily asked in shock.
"This is the only true way to stop all the violence in this world." Mystogan answered. "We need a world where magic doesn't rule the world. I'm going to reverse the anima and send all magic in this world to Earthland."
With the Dragon Slayers
"ALL YOU'RE DOING IS TIERING YOURSELVES OUT." Faust declared. "THE DORMA ANIM IS UNBEATABLE! EVERY DROP OF MAGIC POWER IN THIS WORLD BELONGS TO ME!" The suit fired a volley of blasts as the Dragon Slayers charged him.
"A king's job is to look out for his people, not himself!" Laki shouted.
"There's no such thing as unbeatable!" Natsu added. "You and that hunk of metal are going down!"
"Sky Dragon Roar!" Wendy fired a blast of air from her mouth that Faust blocked.
"YOU SHOULD REALLY LEARN NOT TO WAIST MAGIC POWER." Faust teased. "YOUR ATTACKS ARE AFFECTING MY SUPPLY."
"The hell do you mean your supply!?" Gajeel asked. "My magic belongs to me, not you!" He jumped up and landed on the suits tail. "Iron Dragon Club!" He slammed his club into the metal only for the suit to start glowing and force him off.
"ITS JUST A MATTER OF TIME." Faust smirked. "YOUR MAGIC AND YOUR LIVES ARE MINE BY CONQUEST!"
"Not if we end this!" Natsu shouted, only for a blast of missiles to hit him and the others, knocking them to the ground.
"WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL YOUR BLUSTER!?" Faust asked. "FOR ALL YOUR MAGIC POWER, YOU COULDN'T SLAY A DRAGON EVEN IF IT WAS DYING! AS LONG AS THE DORMA ANIM IS AROUND, YOU CAN NEVER DEFEAT ME! MY ARMIES WILL RAIN DOWN CONQUEST DOWN ON THIS WORLD, AND I WILL RULE THIS WORLD!"
All four Slayers struggled to stand up. "OH, STILL SOME SPIRIT IN YOU? YOUR MAGIC IS TRUELY INCREDIBLE, AND I WILL ENJOY USING EVERY DROP OF IT!" Blasts fired out from under them and launched them into the air in pain. All landed with a thud as Faust watched over them. "MORE... MORE MAGIC... THE EARTH, THE SKY... GIVE IT ALL TO ME!"
Black mist rose up from the ground and floated over to the armor. "THIS IS IT... THE LAST OF EDOLAS' MAGIC... YOUR TIME IS UP!"
Natsu struggled to look up at the massive suit. "Guys, we need to roar together..." Laki said, catching Natsu and Gajeel off guard. "You too, Wendy."
"You want me to help?" The little girl asked.
"It's the only chance we have..." The older girl said. "We need to end this before he kills us and this world. You guys ready!?"
"Hell yeah!" Gajeel shouted.
"You don't even have to ask." Natsu added.
"Yeah!" Wendy nodded before they all took a deep breath.
"Sky Dragon/Iron Dragon/ Fire Dragon/ Wood Dragon Roar!" All four unleashed their breaths and in a fusion of elements, hit the suit in an epic explosion.
"He's done..." Gajeel smirked out, making them all smile. A laugh caught their attention as they looked upwards. High in the sky, the armored suit was still totally intact. "That thing can jump that high!?"
"That means our attack didn't even hit him!" Wendy shouted in a panic.
"Then we do it again!" Natsu shouted back.
"NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!" Faust declared as he fell from the sky, missiles falling around him. "DRAGON KNOGHT DIFFUSION CANNON!" The ground was peppered in the blasts, hitting all the Dragon Slayers at once. Faust landed on the ground laughing. "FOR MY BELOVED KINGDOM, I WOULD DO ANYTHING! NONE OF YOU COULD EVER UNDERSTAND! YOU HAVE AN ABUNDANCE OF MAGIC IN YOUR WORLD. EDOLAS HAS NO NEED FOR GUILDS, JUST MAGIC POWER! AND I WILL GIVE IT TO THEM, NO MATTER THE COST!"
Once again, the four struggled to stand on their feet in opposition. "LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE ALL TUCKERED OUT NOW. WIZARDS YOU MAY BE, BUT IT TAKES TIME FOR YOU TO REGAIN YOUR MAGIC POWER. IF YOU SURRENDER NOW AND SUPPLY EDOLAS WITH MAGIC, I'LL MAKE SURE YOU'RE COMPANSATED ACCORDIGNLY."
'This is how I die?' Gajeel asked himself, looking up at the sky.
"Don't give up." Natsu ordered, catching the others off guard. "We're not done yet..." Forcing himself to his feet, Natsu stared up at the suit. "I'm still standing! So hit me with everything you have!"
"VERY WELL, I WILL CRUSH YOU LIKE THE BUG YOU ARE!" Faust raised the foot of the suit and brought it down on Natsu.
"Natsu..." Wendy mumbled, thinking the worse.
"Moron, what can you do without any magic?" Gajeel asked.
"Like hell I'm without magic!" Natsu shouted back, pushing up against the foot. "I'll just use some of tomorrows if I have to!" With a roar of might, he pushed the foot off of him and sent the suit to the ground, back first. "We Dragon Slayers shouldn't be underestimated, ya hear me!?"
Wendy and Gajeel looked at him with hope and a smirk. 'Some of tomorrow's, huh? Maybe Green Woman's heard this enough times, cause she moving already...'
"YOU ANNOYING FLY!" Faust growled out, blasting Natsu away. "I AM THE GOD OF THIS WORLD, BOW BEFORE ME!" A warning system went off and looked over to see Gajeel in the air, club for an arm.
"You're the one whose going to be bowing, old man!" He declared, bringing his arm down through the foot. The other end o father club shot out of the ground, locking it in place. "Try that jumping trick again, and you'll end up a one-legged idiot."
"YOU DARE!?" A cannon popped out of the suits mouth, before a whip of wood pulled the head up.
"Not going to happen!" Laki declared. "Natsu, finish this!"
Natsu fell back down as he looked behind him at Wendy. "Give me the biggest roar you've got!" Wendy looked at him confused. "Do it!"
"Okay..." She nodded standing up. 'I believe in you, Natsu.'
Faust struggled to rip the whip off of him, but the grip was too tight. "LET ME GO, YOU BITCH!"
"Don't you know how to talk to a lady?" Gajeel asked back.
"Sky Dragon Roar!" Wendy chanted, blasting Natsu forward in the spiral of air.
'Amazing...' Laki thought at her boyfriend. 'He's using the rotation of the attack to boost his own power.'
"NO, IT CAN'T END LIKE THIS!" Faust shouted in defiance!
"Fire Dragon Sword Horn!" Natsu chanted, bursting into flames. Crashing through the suit, Natsu pulled the old king out as the suit and threw him just as the suit fell over and exploded.
Faust looked on at the Slayers in horror as he stared at four dragons in fear. 'How could I hope to control this power!?' He thought before fainting in fear.
And the king is down! All hail the Dragon Slayers, the new rulers of Edolas!... not. Still, that was a massive task for them to do and I was screaming my lungs out in joy when I first saw this on tv.
