Hello!
Thank you for the person that favorited this story!
And, on that regard, here you go an extra chapter, with a little crossover.
Like I said, there will be moments that will happen and I hope you enjoy it.
Note: There will be times that I will jump ahead certain moments already known for the true Stargate fans, like conference talks, fights and such, since this is an original character story with my favourite characters (...not only because it would be boring for you guys, but to also hide the fact that I'm not an expertise in the science, physics stuff mostly. :P )
Chapter 3: A crossover with SG-1 10x03 "The Pegasus Project"
Brown eyes fell onto the city. It was beautiful. She had read the reports but none would ever match the actual vision.
"So, is it Major now?"
Alexandra turned around at the sound of John Sheppard's voice.
"And here I thought you would be dead by now." She teased, with a smile.
"Great. This is the hello I get?" He feigned being hurt.
The Major grinned and walked up to him as the rest of her team entered the conference room.
"How are you, John?"
"I'm good." He placed his hands in his pockets. "You?"
"I would be good too if it wasn't for the matter at hand."
"I know. I've read SG-1 reports."
They kept talking as they sat down.
The next hour was all about discussing what SG-1 needed to stop the Ori and their supergates.
In the end, both Samantha Carter and Rodney McKay went to do their magic. For Alexandra, was all about exploring the ancient city.
"Major O'Neill."
"Dr. Weir." Alexandra stopped as she was leaving the conference room.
"I understand you are not to accompany Daniel to the hologram room."
"I prefer to explore, Elizabeth. Whatever Daniel comes to know from the Ancient repository, he will inform me. I'm sure you understand."
Elizabeth nodded, knowing full well the reason.
"Then, I'm sure my commanding officer can show you around." The Atlantis leader smiled.
"It would be my pleasure." John said as he had come closer both women.
And so they did.
Alexandra met some of the scientists and saw some of the work being done in Atlantis. And given what Daniel was doing, they almost met an actual Ancient, which she had been glad to be steer clear of it.
"Lantea is truly beautiful. I wish I could go to the mainland."
"If we have more time, I can take you." John said as they sat down for dinner. "So what have you been up to? I feel like it's been years since I last saw you."
"Well, PHD, Ori, the usual. My life has been pretty busy. And been reading some of your reports too. You've been busy as well."
"If by busy you mean taking care of Rodney most of the time…"
"He's a handful for sure." She chuckled.
"I'm sorry you couldn't meet Ronon or Teyla."
"It's alright. Maybe next time…"
They talked about Earth, some of their missions, the new threats. Up until the point, Cameron Mitchell approached their table and sat next to Alexandra, stealing her apple.
"How was it?" John asked, his eyes catching their interaction.
"We got it. Even destroyed one Ori ship."
Alexandra went silent, looking him over.
"You're hurt." Her hand stopped midair, before touching his bruised cheek.
"We got an encounter with a Wraith ship. It was a big bang. Couple of bruised ribs. I heard Jackson made a friend."
"Yeah. He did. We got good intel now. According to him, at least."
There was a smile on Mitchell's side that made John's stomach drop at their interaction. And that made him frown.
"You really hate the Ancients, don't you?" Confused, John asked upon Alexandra's mumble at what the other archaeologist had found in the hologram room.
Alexandra surprised herself upon his question.
"I just try to avoid them." She said in a nonchalant way, with a shrug.
Cameron frowned at her response. He knew both officers were friends, so why hadn't she told John about who she was?
"I was looking for you, Alex." Cameron started, as a jealousy streak came upon him. "We have to head back to Earth. The Odyssey already made repairs on the way back here and we are good to go."
"Already?" Alexandra sounded disappointed.
"I'm sorry." Cameron touched her hand quickly.
The military scientist sighed. Turning to John, she noticed he was watching them and there was something in his eyes she couldn't place, making Alexandra take back her hand from near the other pilot.
"I hope I see you soon, Sheppard." She gave him a smile as she got up. Then placed her hand on his shoulder. "Thank you for showing me around the city."
"Sure. No problem." John gave her a quick smile as he felt her touch through his clothes.
"Thanks, Sheppard." Cameron added. "For taking care of her. She tends to attract danger." He gave a quick wink.
"Hey!" Alexandra punched Cameron's arm.
The head of SG-1 only chuckled, stepping away from her.
However, there was something in the other Colonel's voice that hinted at something and that made John frown and think as he watched them leave, hearing them whisper, walking closely to each other. He knew it was more than just concern.
*hides and covers*
Hope you enjoyed it! *shouts from a distance*
