A week later Allison was checking on Hayden at the hospital, while he wasn't her patient she checked in when his parents weren't there. The little boy was staying at the hospital during the CPS investigation because he had symptoms of internal injuries that needed close monitoring.

"Renee you need to leave," Allison directed as she walked into the room to find Hayden sobbing. She noticed Renee's hands on both sides of the little boy, her posture clearly threatening.

"Says who," Renee asked, "you the whore who ruined my family. The slut who couldn't keep her legs closed."

"Renee this is a closed room," Allison replied, "hospital staff and approved visitors only. Let me check his chart but you are not on his list."

"How would you know whore," Renee asked before shoving Allison. Allison stumbelled back and was able to hit the call button on the wall sending someone running from the nurses station.

A nurse entered the room to find Renee having backed Allison into a corner.

"You deserve it," Renee yelled, "you do, your stupid kids do all the kids do. None of you are good enough for this family. You will never be enough."

"What's going on in here," the nurse asked.

"Code purple," Allison yelled.

The nurse hit the call button in her pocket for back up.

"Ma'am you need to back away from Dr Blouin," the nurse addressed Renee, "we will get someone for you to share your concerns with."

"She has no right to that name," Renee yelled, "not after what she did. She ruined my brother's life."

"Renee is my sister in law," Allison replied, "page the chief."

"Lock down fifth floor west," sounded over the loudspeaker, "code purple fifth floor west. Security fifth floor west. Resource officer fifth floor west."

"You ruined him," Renee yelled at Allison, grabbing her arms.

"Hands off me," Allison directed, "Renee I will hear you out in the hallway. We are not doing this in front of a child."

"You abandoned your child to do what," Renee yelled, "play dr? Pretend she isn't defective?"

"Do not talk about Everly with me again," Allison roared, "you know nothing."

Renee shoved Allison catching her off guard causing her to stumble backwards and trip over an iv stand. Allison reached out her left hand to break her fall. Hitting the ground she heard a cracking noise as pain shot through her arm and across her chest. She took a deep breath and staggered to her feet.

Josh ran into the room, "Allison!"

"Code purple," Allison shouted again.

Renee grabbed Allison by her left arm twisting it to get Allison off balance again.

Josh approached Renee using his height to his advantage, "let go of dr Blouin."

"Or what," Renee yelled.

"Security and the police are on their way," Josh said, "the hospital will be pressing charges."

"Dr Riggs she's Asher's sister," Allison said with tears in her eyes suddenly feeling 17 again.

"Page Dr Teddy Altman," Josh barked as security entered the room.

"The kids don't deserve to have the name Blouin ," Renee yelled, "they're all a waste of my dads name. None of their moms are good enough. Allison is a stupid whore who will never amount to anything. She ruined my brother's life and destroyed her daughter."

The security guards grabbed Renee and dragged her off Allison and from the room. Allison collapsed on the floor sobbing.

"Allie come with me," Josh said, taking her hands and helping his sister in law up.

"I, I , I," Allison stuttered.

"Allie I've known you since the day you were born," Josh said, "none of what she just said is true."

"But Renee," Allison blubbered.

"I'm sending Dr Blouin home," Josh said, "I will be driving her."

"Dr Riggs," Schmidt asked.

"She needs to go home and have a psych eval before she's on the floor after that," Josh declared.

"I want me mom," Allison whimpered.

"She's been paged," Josh assured, "Allie we're going to take you to the pit and check you over. That shove did you hit your head?"

"Asher is going to be so pissed," Allison whimpered.

"Not at you," Josh assured, "he's still working in this building I saw him today. I'll call him to meet us."

Josh escorted Allison through the back staff only routes to the adult emergency room.

"Allie," Asher shouted seeing them and rushing to his wife.

Allison collapsed crying seeing Asher.

Teddy joined them, "oh my got what happened?"

"Renee in Hayden's room hurting him," Allison stuttered.

"Get the police down here now," Teddy barked.

"Already called security have her detained," Josh replied, "she got a couple good shoves in and Allie hit her head so we came over for a work up just in case."

"Thank you," Asher replied.

"Jessica did it to Annie when we were first married," Josh replied, "sisters can be really mean to each other."

"Renee has never liked Allie," Asher replied, "I don't understand it. She's so brainwashed by my dad."

"I'm ordering a involuntary psychiatric hold on her," Josh said, "seeing what I did. I want to 5150 her."

"You saw it," Teddy replied.

"My left hand is numb," Allison suddenly realised.

"Page neuro," Teddy yelled.

"Allie," Asher asked.

"My hand if I can't," Allison said, she was left handed it was her dominant hand.

"It's your left," Asher asked.

"Ya," Allison said, "it's my dominant hand."

"Probably bruising further up the arm or in your shoulder," Josh guessed, "I'm ordering labs and a CT to rule anything out."

"You can't," Asher started.

"Blouin, Riggs the bean counters won't notice I won't treat but I'm getting things started," Josh replied, "I'm ordering treats to get the ball rolling. We do it for each other. When I broke my arm after that dad pushed me a year ago."

"What happened with that," Asher asked.

"He was acting in fear we were clearing the room and he panicked," Josh replied, "it wasn't intentional. Your sister what she was saying the words she used that was planned. I'm going to call psych and security. You look after Allie."

"My hand," Allison panicked.

"Let's go to CT and check it baby girl," Teddy soothed, "Amelia is here today."

"She's good," Allison replied.

"She's very good," Teddy agreed.

Amelia joined them and ran a preliminary exam, "I want the CT changed to an MRI for more detail. I think it's just some bruising and that shoulder isn't moving freely. Get ortho down here to check. Link is here today."

Allison went for the images and it was discovered she had fractured her collarbone and arm and jammed her shoulder.

"Good news Allison no surgery," link said, "bad news you'll need 6-8 weeks to heal. In a cast and sling like you know and we'll reassess in two weeks."

"What about," Allison panicked.

"Your home to rest for at least a week it's a simple fracture," Link said, "rest, recover and then we'll come back with you in the ER and no surgical roles. If it heals faster we'll see I'll do another X-ray in a month."

"My hand," Allison asked.

"I see no reason there will be a problem," Link said.

"I agree there's nothing neuro here it's the swelling from the fractures," Amelia said, "go home. Take your preferred NASAID and relax."

"No pain meds," Asher asked, "those aren't very strong. We only have regular strength Advil and Tylenol."

"I can double it up or take one of each," Allison answered.

"I don't prescribe narcotics for something like this," Amelia replied, "there's no evidence they would help. And I'm going to caution you about looking at your medicine cabinet for your daughter."

"We don't have anything stronger," Allison replied, "Ev doesn't tolerate stronger well. We do the Botox injections every 12 weeks and treat the spaciscity with muscle relaxants. I treat the causes of her pain."

"Okay," Amelia replied, "I like that approach."

"You taught it to me," Allison replied, "before I knew better I gave more pain meds."

"Asher take her home," Teddy directed, "go home once the cast is on. Get settled. I'll pick up dinner for you guys and your kids. Let me clean up a bit and do a load or two of laundry for you."

Allison nodded, "can we press charges?"

"We need to," Asher agreed, "she went too far this time and now we have witnesses."

"Go home, call your lawyer," Teddy replied.

"Cast first," Link replied, "what colour Allison?"

"Blue," Allison replied, "match my scrubs."

With the cast on Allison was sent home to rest and relax.

Upstairs Asher's dad was called to the psychiatric floor to complete the paperwork Renee could not.

"She did what," Mark asked.

"She attacked another patient and a doctor," the psych nurse said, "both have been treated for their injuries. "

"Which doctor," Mark asked, he knew how to play the game.

"A surgeon named Dr Blouin," the psych nurse replied, "she's okay."

"My daughter in law," Mark replied, "just release Renee this is a family matter."

"She's been 5150d she has to remain for 72 hours for an evaluation and may be kept longer if the psychiatrist determines she is a threat to her self or others," the nurse explained, "right now she has no contact with anyone outside of the locked ward and is currently sedated. We will contact you when she is able to have a visitor."

"I'm her father," mark argued.

"That's hospital policy," the nurse replied, "go home sir and we will call you."

At home Allison asked, "can we press charges this time? We didn't years ago when she hurt Ev and her behaviour hasn't changed."

"We can," Asher replied, "it'll mean facing her and my dad. My dad will back his golden child."

"We need to," Allison said, "I want prison time."

"I don't know if you can go that far," Teddy replied, "but look at the incident reports from today. Has she been reported before."

"Hayden made a disclosure to me," Allison replied, "and to his child life specialist. We've both called it into cps."

"Allie you need to relax and calm down before dad brings your kids home," Teddy replied, "what will you tell them?"

"That I had an accident at work and fractured my ulna and clavicle," Allison replied, "it's the truth. I can tell Ev I fell which I did and is how I hurt my arm."

"Will they be okay with that," Teddy asked.

"We'll work though it," Allison replied, "we can hold how I fell back to a degree. I stepped back and tripped over an IV stand. She doesn't need to know I was pushed."

"No she doesn't," Teddy agreed, "What can I do for you now?"

"Can you pick up all the toys," Allison asked, "Ash is ordering dinner."

"I will and then do you want dad and I to stay," Teddy asked.

"I think I just need space mom," Allison replied.

"okay," Teddy agreed, "I'll do some house work then give you space."

"Thanks for coming Teddy," Asher said.

"I will always come," Teddy replied.
