A/N Guest, I could make your suggestion work in a YAHF were Buffy and Grimm are a fusion au and someone, probably Xander, dresses as a character from Supernatural. Sound good? Does to me, I love plot bunnies. But if you have a different idea, please let me know. 😍
Hope's Dagger is from the Buffy video game Chaos Bleeds, I've never played it, but I've seen references to it.
That psychics and insane people can 'see' the Key's true state is written in Giles' journal, Spike reads it to Dawn. Since insane people were shown to also know about Glory, I'm speculating that they could 'see' her the way they could see the Key and since psychics were stated to also be able to see the Key, I'm chosing to believe a psychic could have also seen Glory. It's never specifically said on the show that psychics can't see Glory, it's just stated that they can see the Key.

"Several people have been brought into the hospital in the last 24 hours with sudden onset of insanity." Diana reported grimly. "Including a night security guard whose patrol covers several warehouses, a worker from one of the warehouses and a man wearing old fashioned robes, according to my contact."
"Like Brother Michael was wearing?" Faith asked.
"Yes." She confirmed. "They have no ID on him, but she also confirmed he's been tortured so severely that all they can do for him is make him as comfortable as possible, he's not expected to last more then a couple more hours, at best. And no," she forestalled Mason's question. "questioning him won't be possible even if he wasn't in an incoherent mental state. When I say they're making him as comfortable as possible, I mean they have him sedated, his injuries are horrendous and include broken bones and internal bleeding. His body's been...she couldn't really describe it. That he's even alive has more to do with the fact that workers at the warehouse found him tied to a chair this morning and called an ambulance for him."
"I wonder why she just left him there." Jesse questioned. "Or maybe I should just stop wondering, Ceridian says she had no more use for him and basically forgot about him."
"He didn't interest her anymore." Mason nodded. "Obviously he's not the Key or she would still have him." He looked out the window, working to keep himself under control. He'd fought demons and he'd seen what their human victims looked like, a Hell god's victim wouldn't be much different. Once they were no longer amusing or useful, they were forgotten about. But it didn't get easier to see or know that. Champ sensed his distress and leaned against his side, a silent support for a world-weary soldier. "The Council knows of several weapons in mythology that could kill a god but as far as they know, none of them are anywhere on Earth. Hope's Dagger, for instance, might be able to scatter her across dimensions. Theoretically. But an incorporeal entity that self titled itself the First Evil hid it in its own dimension, as it was specifically created to scatter it across dimensions. They're looking through their books but they're not holding their breath."
"Xander and Cordelia are on their way to meet the Chase's plane and will fly back on it." Faith told them. "But as of now all we have is the glow ball -."
"Dagon's Sphere." Diana corrected. "And it is mystical in nature and according to Brother Michael created to repel her. Which doesn't exactly explain what it does. A force field repels, for instance, but I haven't been able to trigger it to do anything other than glow."
"Maybe it hurts or weakens her in some way." Jesse suggested. "Having it nearby, especially if she doesn't know it's around, could slow her down or stop her or hurt her enough for Faith to hit her with the chakram. Or keep her from even knowing it's coming at her. That chakram lets you kill from a distance, making it easier for you to survive an encounter with demons."
"If she's weaken by the Dagon's Sphere and Faith can strike from a distance before she realizes she's even in danger, that could be enough to kill her." Mason agreed. "Like a round from a sniper rifle."
"This all hinges on whether my theory that Janus was trying to help us and made the chakram real on purpose, as well as whether he made it out of Adamantine." Faith reminded them. "Pretty big if."
"Nothing else stayed real as far as we're aware of." Diana reminded her. "And you four are the only people we're aware of with any lasting effects from the spell. I went over everyone who was affected magically, they were brought to the High School remember and no one else even remembered transforming, let alone what they did while transformed. And no one else had anything that stayed real either, your theory is plausible, but we won't know until we face her. And we won't be able to do that until we can find her."
"Which won't be until Xander and Cordelia get here." Mason sighed. "The waiting is always the hard part. And I really don't like the fact that we haven't been able to come up with a back up plan."
"Aside from opening the Hellmouth ourselves, something that could go horribly wrong and somehow dropping her in it, I don't currently see an alternate myself." Diana admitted. "For now we wait for Xander and Cordelia and then we try to find her and hopefully end this before it gets any worse."
