Angel: Alright, so like I said when I started, I am doing the OVAs. However...I'm not gonna lie, they're not the best quality, in terms of picture quality and subtitles in my opinion. Plus like a quarter of them are not dubbed, so I have to use the sub version for like the first two or three I think.
As for the dialogue, it will differ slightly to make it seem more natural because some lines in the OVAs just...don't seem entirely in character. I mean, yeah, it's funny, but it rubs me off sometimes so that's why I changed it. Sorry if it seems out of character even with the changes, I tried my best. Uh, if you guys decide to check these OVAs out if you haven't watched them, watch out for the video quality because it almost feels like they added a scratch effect or something. I'm not saying the OVAs are terrible or anything, I just feel like quality-wise, they can feel lacking to me, at least the first two. Thankfully, the quality of the animation does get better over time.
And a new episode comes out tomorrow…I don't look forward to it for character reasons, but we'll get through it together, guys…maybe. I've been dreading that episode ever since I started watching the show because the manga spoilers were everywhere when it came out.
"This is the official report of the recent USJ attack, committed by what is known now as the League of Villains. Class 1-A of the Hero course from UA High." The UA students stepped inside of the building, admiring it as it was a glass dome inside. But every single spot had something to offer in terms of terrain, like mountains, destroyed buildings, or water. "At the time of this attack, they were involved in a rescue practice and became involved in the incident."
Thirteen then bowed to the class. The students cheered for her, some clapping. "But just as the training began, the League struck." A purple portal appeared in front of the fountain. They turned to the giant portal to see numerous villains stepping inside. The twins stared at all of the villains, their eyes shaking in terror. "The League used a Quirk from one of their own to separate the students." Once they were separated thanks to Kurogiri, they fought the villains as best as they could.
"Class 1-A's homeroom teacher, Mr. Aizawa aka Eraser Head, and Thirteen fought against the villains in order to protect the students." Mr. Aizawa fought with his scarf while Thirteen used Black Hole against Kurogiri. "However, Thirteen suffered injuries in her battle with Kurogiri." Kurogiri summoned a portal behind her, causing her suit to start ripping apart. "Mr. Aizawa was heavily injured as well thanks to a creature referred to as Nomu and was then taken out of the fight."
All Might ripped off his jacket once he arrived at the scene. "Afterwards, the world's number one hero and teacher, All Might, joined in and de-escalated the situation." All Might fought hard against the Nomu, using his Plus Ultra punch to defeat the creature. "The class rep, Tenya Ida, contacted the rest of the school's staff, and the incident was resolved." The teachers fought hard against the villains, Mr. Aizawa laying down on a hospital bed. "As a result, two teachers were in the hospital, but the first-year students that managed to overcome the incident were left with a great experience." All Might sat up in bed, the twins glancing up at him in the nurse's office.
Mr. Aizawa looked out the window from the teacher's lounge, his arm bandaged. "However, UA must regain the trust of the people for allowing the students to be in danger." The teacher had a bandage all over his face. "We are an entity that trains the future defenders of their safety. Maybe 3 years is a short time, so keep it present. We apologize for having worried the families of the first-year students. But we hope to continue counting on your trust and support. Sincerely, the homeroom teacher of Class 1-A, Shota Aizawa."
A few days have passed since the attack.
It felt so fast trying to process everything we did and what happened.
And so, our class is about to train once again. Maybe it was to do things properly, or to get over what happened, but...we went back to where it all started.
Thirteen looked to be back to normal as she stood in front of the students. "That was quite the experience from our last meeting! But class is class," They were all baffled to hear her cheerful attitude regarding the whole thing. She could've also just wanted to forget about it and properly teach them. "So let's do some actual rescue training."
"You're really okay, Thirteen?" Ochaco asked the teacher in concern; the last time they had seen her, her suit was torn up badly after all.
"I appreciate the concern!" Thirteen twirled her body around to prove that she was fine. "But I'll be fine. Nothing compared to Eraser Head, though," She gestured to Mr. Aizawa, and it looked like his entire body was bandaged by the looks of it.
He looked up at the class. "We're ready to start, so let's get this over with. We're wasting time just standing around," He informed and turned around, walking off. Izuka sweated a little staring at him. Well, he was certainly back to normal already too apparently...
"Mr. Aizawa!" Izuku called out after the man, and he stopped in place. "Isn't All Might supposed to be teaching us today too? So where is he?"
Mr. Aizawa turned away from the question. "Who knows? I wouldn't worry about him," He walked down the steps, earning a gasp from Izuku. Something about Mr. Aizawa's tone felt a bit off to him regarding the hero.
What was that? Did something happen between them?
"It's not our business," Izuka whispered to him knowingly. "Mr. Aizawa might be a bit defensive over the fact that Mr. All Might decided to not be on time because he was out rescuing those people."
"Hmm...maybe," He murmured and then glanced at Katsuki.
"Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuh?!" Izuku screeched in shock while Inko smiled.
"Well, that was nice of him to take you home! I'm almost done with dinner, so wash up, Izuka."
"Okay, Mom," She smiled, walking past her brother. He stared after her and then chased her down the hall as she headed for the bathroom. She then sighed knowingly, glancing over her shoulder. "You know, you're gonna catch flies with that mouth."
"Wha-but you and—Kacchan walked you home, really? I-I didn't think he'd even be up for that, did you convince him to?"
"Umm, well," Izuka laughed awkwardly, pressing her forefingers together. "H-He practically forced me to...so it was his idea, heh." Even right now while telling Izuku all this, she still had no idea why Katsuki insisted on walking her home.
"He did?! Oh, wow. I wanna thank him, but he probably wouldn't like it that much," He gave a small chuckle. "Well, I'm glad he offered to walk you back!" He gave his sister a small smile, and she returned it a bit hesitantly. Mainly because of the...incidents of when he saved her were still flooding her mind and she couldn't really mention them just yet. "But he didn't do or say anything, did he? Are you guys closer now? That's so unfair, I want that too!"
"Ahh…" Izuka stared at him, her brain already breaking down from his muttering. She knew it was coming, but still…
Katsuki made good on his word; he had been walking Izuka home since then without missing a single day so far. He'd usually drop her off near the street so he wouldn't have to talk to Izuku or Inko. The last thing he wanted was to get interrogated or gratitude from them. Sometimes Izuka would try to convince him that he didn't need to, but he never listened, or he'd just tell her to shut up.
Kacchan's been a little weird around my sister. He wouldn't be doing all of this just to learn more about my Quirk, would he? No...I don't think that's it. He hasn't asked either of us about it since then. Maybe he really doesn't believe us.
Izuku sighed in relief that he didn't have to worry about that right now. "Let's start with the rescue training!" Thirteen announced as they were in the Landslide Zone. "There will be three students at the bottom of this chasm. One will act unconscious, the second will act with an injured leg, and the last one will be very concerned."
Eijiro and Denki looked over the edge with a gasp, seeing just how deep it went. "Whoa, so huge! How are any of us supposed to get down there?!" Eijiro yelped at this.
"What kind of question is that?!" Tenya rushed over right away to them. He slid to a stop nearby. "That's not how you're supposed to act during this training exercise!" He then bent down to the edge. "As class rep, I'll demonstrate how this should go from each student," Tenya cleared his throat. "Are you alright?! Don't worry, we're here to help you!"
"You're way too fast," Eijiro commented at him.
"Well, he does have Engine for a Quirk..." Denki mumbled to the red-head.
"Alright, then let's save them!" Ochaco smiled happily, rushing over and pumping her fists towards the twins. "Let's do our best, Deku and Mido!" He yelped at her behavior, blushing a little. Izuka backed up a bit with a nervous expression.
"I-I think you should calm down..." Izuka tried to tell her.
Izuku yelped and covered the top of his head with his hands. She always gets so close to me! He then looked at his own hands. This power All Might gave to me! The power to save people with a smile on my face! He then gave a determined look. I'll learn how to fully use it! Sparkles shined on him as he looked towards the sky.
Izuka hummed while looking at her hand. It's like every day, I discover something new about my Quirk. She remembered when she fired off a shooting star from her hand, and then used her shield trying to protect her classmates. I have to learn more if I wanna be a hero. Who knows what else I can do unless I don't get information? I'll keep learning more about my Quirk and trying to get used to the class.
Thirteen then held up a finger. "So, the injured will be...you three!" She pointed right at Izuku, Ochaco, and Tenya. They all stared at her wide-eyed.
We're the injured ones?! The trio thought in unison.
Once they were at the bottom, Tenya turned around to his friends. "We must do our best to be injured!" He told them seriously; it was almost like combat class again when he was acting like a villain.
"Yeah!" Ochaco smiled while pumping a fist.
"This is just a practice rescue..." Izuku had sweat flying from his forehead from how seriously they were taking this.
"Alright," Mr. Aizawa turned around to a few students. "Which means you five are the ones who will do the rescuing." And by five, he meant Momo, Fumikage, Shoto, Izuka and...Katsuki, of course. The blond was seething in anger, Izuka glancing at him. "You'll use these for the training," The teacher gestured to a gurney, rope, and a harness.
"Why the hell do I have to rescue Deku and work with Mousy?!" Katsuki shouted, earning a small sigh from Izuka. Just because he walked her home didn't mean they were on friendly terms. He'd usually stay silent for the most part, always walking in front of her. Sometimes he'd snap at guys staring at Izuka, but that was about it.
"Because we're in the Anime Festa, Bakugo," Tsuyu stared at him.
"What?!" He exclaimed, Eijiro appearing behind the girl while holding up his hands.
"Maybe just leave him alone, Tsu..."
"Please help us!" Tenya shouted while Shoto stepped up.
"Let's go," He stated, getting the attention of Katsuki. "Who wants to go down there?"
"That bastard's ignoring me now?" The blond growled at him, Izuka glancing away awkwardly. She then cringed as he had a dark look in his eyes. "I guess I'll have to teach him a lesson on who he's dealing with!" An explosion occurred from his hand. "All we have to do is blow up the stupid mountain and that's it!" He had a big confident smile on his face.
"That's not the best course of action!" Momo exclaimed from behind.
"N-no it is not..." Izuka stammered in agreement with her.
"Bakugo doesn't think at all. He acts by his instinct and ego," Tsuyu informed while the others watched, some a bit skeptical.
"Midoriya and the others down there aren't really in good hands," Denki remarked while picking at his nose.
Shoto closed his eyes with a sigh, earning an annoyed grunt from Katsuki. "Yaoyorozu, please make a pulley for us using your Quirk. We'll use that to pull them up." Mido nodded in agreement. "Let's start with the ones that are unconscious and need immediate medical attention. Tokoyami will be the one to go down there. Bakugo, Yaoyorozu, Mido and myself will all pull."
"You icy hoy bastard!" Katsuki stormed up to him, grabbing him by the collar. "Since when were you the one making all of these decisions on your own?!"
"Ah!" Izuka blinked in alarm at this. "L-Let go of Todoroki-San...!"
"Bakugo, hold on!" Momo called out in warning.
"It's the best way," Shoto simply responded while Fumikage silently shook his head.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Katsuki gritted his teeth at him.
"If you wanna think of this as a joke, then this might not be for you." The blond then flinched in shock, Izuka gasping a little. Shoto pushed Katsuki's hand off of him, glancing away. "I for one don't plan on wasting time during this training," He then walked off, Katsuki's hand shaking into a fist.
"W-Who's the one who's joking?!" He snarled, staring down Shoto. "I'll kill you!" He lunged forward towards him.
"B-Bakugo-San, wait," Izuka held out a hand.
"Stop!" Momo ordered and Katsuki froze in place. "This is childish! Besides, we're all overlooking one important thing," She ran over to the edge. "Please stay calm! We'll work fast to save you!"
Ochaco was the one unconscious as Izuku was acting as the one with the hurt leg. "Please, hurry!"
"You're here! We're finally saved!" Izuku faked relief while Ochaco giggled in amusement.
"The first thing to do is reassure the injured," She looked to her teammates, Katsuki flinching. "There will be times where you can't save people when they're panicked and not thinking of their own safety. Calming them down relates to rescuing them."
Shoto stood up while Katsuki looked away with a scoff. "W-Wow, Yaoyorozu-Chan..." Izuka's eyes shined at her in awe.
"If you're not going to do this the right way, then what kind of class would this be?" Momo stared down at the two, narrowing her eyes. Shoto blinked in shock and Izuka nodded in agreement, rushing over to Momo's side.
"P...please don't worry!" Izuka spoke up softly as her voice echoed to the three. Momo looked at her in surprise. "You'll be safe...as long as you put your faith in us!"
"...Yeah, just like that," The vice rep smiled at her. "Good job, Mido."
Izuka blinked and then turned towards the edge, a soft smile on her face as she blushed from the praise. "Whoa, she's really good at this," Eijiro rubbed his chin. "She even inspired Mido."
"Yeah..." Minoru bent down...to look at Momo's butt. "She's real good," He wiped the drool coming from his mouth.
"You're unbelievable!" Eijiro exclaimed at him. Minoru then looked at Izuka, and felt an intense glare on him. He yelped while turning away from the girl as it was Katsuki staring him down. That was enough to make the small pervert back off, since he didn't want to die.
Once they made the pulley, they used Shoto's ice to keep the rope steady. Fumikage was currently climbing down the mountain, attached to the harness. Shoto, Izuka, and Katsuki were pulling him down. "Tokoyami, please be careful when using the rope," Momo called out to him.
"Thank you for your concern," He called out while climbing.
"Hey Tokoyami," Izuku greeted with a small smile.
"I apologize for having you wait," Fumikage stated once he was down.
Tenya then bent down to the still-giggling Ochaco. "Uraraka, there's no need to worry! Thanks to Tokoyami, everything will be alright!" He cried out with tears falling down his eyes. She turned away in laughter, as she couldn't take this seriously at all.
"Alright, we'll pull up Uraraka up first since she's unconscious," Fumikage informed the three.
"Right! But...we can't," Izuku feigned urgency, his classmate glancing at him. "We can't move our arms or legs, so we won't be able to help you."
"Isn't it dangerous for one person to carry someone who's unconscious?" Tenya couldn't help but point out. Fumikage just gave a small smile in return.
"There's no need for concern," He summoned Dark Shadow, and it grew above his head. "I carry an entity named Dark Shadow as part of my Quirk." The three gasped in surprise; they hadn't seen his Quirk up until now because during the Quirk test, he hadn't used it much. Only a shadow of arms so far, and when the USJ incident occurred, he was only with Koji. "In this darkness, I can manage. Dark Shadow, help Uraraka."
"No," Dark Shadow replied simply while crossing his arms.
"Quickly," Fumikage ordered a bit more sternly.
"I just have to do that, huh?" He then pushed up the stretcher slowly.
"Take her up slowly. Don't let her get hurt," Fumikage stated, earning a scoff in return.
"Whoa, Dark Shadow is amazing!" Izuku commented at this.
"It's a useful tool, even if you can't separate from it."
"I don't think he's a tool at all!" Izuku admired the Quirk, his classmate turning to him. He was looking towards Dark Shadow in awe. "He can always pull off rescues or increase your combat ability! How cool!" Sparkles flew around him, Fumikage staring at him in surprise. He then closed his eyes, feeling humbled before he looked up. Just as Dark Shadow was about to reach the light, he stopped and allowed the others to pull her up.
"Seems like that's the limit."
"Thank you, brave heroes!" Tenya shouted with tears flowing down his face. Momo and Izuka blinked at Ochaco unable to contain herself from laughter.
"A-Are you okay, Uraraka-Chan?!" Izuka's eyes widened at her.
"Why are you laughing?" Momo wondered to the brunette curiously.
"It's just that Ida takes the exercises so seriously, I can't help it!" Ochaco giggled and Izuka gave a small sweat drop.
More like too seriously. He was way too intense for me in combat class with Mr. All Might. I guess he just really wants to get into his roles when he's given one.
"I think that just means he's dedicated," Momo told her with a small frown. "It's not something we should be laughing at."
"I know, I'm sorry," Ochaco chuckled while sitting up. "But even with that..." She spit out in laughter.
Izuka sighed a little at her. "Mido, come on," Shoto called out and the girl stood up.
"I-I've gotta help Todoroki-San and Bakugo-San. You'll...take care of things from here?" She turned to Momo, who nodded at her. The smaller girl then ran off to join Shoto's side.
"Let's pull up the next person," Shoto had a small smile on his face while pulling down the rope. Izuka grabbed it next.
"Don't think you can order me around, icy-hot," Katsuki grumbled and picked it up as well.
"Rescuing people without using your Quirk can be a challenge," Thirteen spoke up while watching them. "That's how us heroes must prevail!" She exclaimed proudly and Hanta came up from behind.
"But Todoroki and Mido are the only ones pulling," He pointed right at Katsuki. The blond glanced over his shoulder with angry white eyes.
"Shut up, you bastard!" He shouted and Thirteen dropped her arms. Izuka rolled her eyes to the back of her head as she was kneeling in front of him. How was it that he could both be so angry and yet still willing to look after her? She didn't know, but she wasn't sure if she should even take his other side so seriously anymore.
"He came to the conclusion that he could not use his Quirk, that's the right thing to do," Thirteen stated, to the confusion of Hanta. "Acting in a normal way. There's a lot of pro heroes who aren't able to do that. They always think of themselves and when they encounter a challenging situation, they put those feelings aside," She glanced at the class and then back up ahead. "When you manage to understand and remember, that's the lesson you should learn," The sun started to shine on Katsuki. "I'm sure he'll become one of the top ten heroes someday!"
"No, he'll never be in the top ten," Hanta rubbed his chin. "He's way too much of a hothead. I don't know how Mido puts up with him."
Katsuki was gritting his teeth after hearing this, as he could feel his classmate's smugness. He really wanted to wipe that stupid smirk off Hanta's face right about now. I will kill that bastard once this is over with!
Izuka closed her eyes in annoyance, raising a brow. Yup, Sero-San should be really be careful from now on...this is really helping right about now. Except that not really, and besides, the last thing she wanted right now was to be involved in this...
"The next practice will be the last," Mr. Aizawa told his students.
Ochaco tied a rag to act as a splint for Tsuyu, who was acting as the one with the injured leg. "Alright. Tsu, it may be a little scary, but try not to move," She told her classmate.
"Ribbit," Tsuyu nodded in agreement. Izuka was sitting nearby, acting as an extra concerned victim. Ochaco then tapped Tsuyu on the shoulder.
"Let's pull her up, Midoriya," Mashirao was holding the rope.
"I'll catch her!" Izuku offered as Tsuyu floated up to him. He then held out his arms.
"Uraraka, you can release her now!" Mashirao called out to her.
"Release!" Ochaco pressed her fingers together. And like Izuku said, he caught Tsuyu in his arms.
"Safe!" He smiled proudly once she was secured.
"Midoriya, you can put me down now," The girl spoke up and he turned to her in confusion. She had a light blush on her face. "This is getting to be a little embarrassing." He yelped as he realized that out of context, it was...a bit romantic. And Izuku tended to not do well around girls sometimes. "Even if my leg is bandaged, this is weird..." She held up her leg and he screeched at this.
"Now we'll just pull up Mido!" Ochaco touched the girl on the shoulder too. Izuka floated up towards the class and then glanced back at her friend. Ochaco nodded as she knew it was time to let go and touched her fingers together. The girl landed safely onto the cliff.
"That's everyone," Mashirao turned to Thirteen.
"That's all for now," She informed, though there were four students that had yet to participate: Rikido, Yuga, Mezo, and Koji.
"It looks like we didn't step in because we're not suited for this kind of rescue," Rikido rubbed his chin. He'd probably break the rope, Mezo's appearance could be seen as intimidating, Koji barely talked, and Yuga...usually focused on his appearance.
"It's not fair," Yuga held up a finger just as Ochaco floated herself back up. "What about my chance to shine?"
"You're not wrong there," Rikido agreed as the girl wiped off her forehead in relief.
Once they were all gathered, Thirteen clapped for the class. "That was a great job for your first rescue practice. We still have more battle scenarios prepared for you all. To put it simply, there's still a lot to do."
"Well, that happened," Denki gave a small smile.
"This is no time to be relaxed," Mr. Aizawa spoke up, alarming him and Eijiro. "Class is still in session."
"It's time for a new setting," Thirteen stated as they were now at the Ruins Zone. "Unlike the rescue training, there's different situations. The purpose of this scenario is to have a more genuine experience. The injured can be anywhere at any time, and we don't know what state they may be in. You'll have 8 minutes to spread out and 5 of you will be rescuers. The other 17 must hide in wherever they want. 8 of the ones hiding can't speak. I'll be selecting them."
Mina gasped sharply as a thought came to mind. "So it's just like hide and seek!" She grinned while turning to the rest of the class.
"To be accurate, almost. So, the 5 that will be searching...are this group." This group was Izuku, Ochaco, Minoru, Izuka and...Katsuki, of course. Izuku glanced towards the blond nervously; if he already didn't want to save his life, working on a team with him wouldn't be any different...
"Why do I have to do this with Deku and mousy?!" Katsuki screamed with fangs and white eyes. Izuku yelped while recoiling back, his hair flying from the shouting.
"There's nothing you can do, we're in the Anime Festa, remember?" Ochaco gave him a small frown.
"Why do you extras keep bringing that up?! I don't know what the hell that is!" Katsuki shouted at her next.
"Calm down, dude, we can just research it," Eijiro held up his hands nervously.
"When you carry the victims, you can steal the opportunity to touch their boobs or their asses!" Minoru...admired the bodies of Mina and Tsuyu. "Is that considered evil?" He drooled once again, Izuka groaning silently.
"Maybe we shouldn't let you carry anyone, Mineta," Izuku murmured in a bit of concern. "And Izuka, don't let yourself get too close to him..."
"Y-Yeah, I'll do that," She muttered while stepping away from them. "We should get ready..."
"You have 2 minutes to hide," Thirteen informed the ones who would be rescued. "Let the training start! Don't forget that no situation is strange in this case. Begin!"
"Alright!" Izuku turned to his teammates. "Let's start looking nearby!"
"We don't need to!" Katsuki shouted at him. "Don't follow me, extras! And I better not catch you near mousy," He glared towards Mineta, who shook in fear of him.
Jeez, why is he always blocking me from Mido? Is he secretly her boyfriend or something?
Before anyone could comment, Katsuki moved his hands behind him. He then set off his explosions, the four yelping as he took to the sky, soaring across. They looked at him in shock of how far he went. "What the hell's wrong with him?! He's way too rash!" Minoru exclaimed in disbelief.
"It can't be helped," Izuku turned to his sister and Ochaco. "Let's look for the ones who can talk first." The girls nodded in agreement with him and then he turned to Minoru. "Lots of time has passed since the fight, let's go!"
"Right!" Minoru gave him a thumbs up.
"G-Good...good luck, everyone," Izuka clenched a determined fist.
"Let's go!" Ochaco held up a fist and they all split up to head in four different directions. The buildings had debris in them, and Shoto was sitting alone in one of them. And because he was alone...in the darkness, it caused him to think of a terrible memory from when he was a child.
He breathed heavily while in the training room of his home. He was kneeling on the ground, trying to breathe. It felt like something was trying to escape his chest from just how...intense it was. From how he didn't wanna spend another second doing all of this.
"Shoto," A male voice spoke and the little boy gasped. "You can't give up now." The boy glanced back with terrified eyes. A man with flames around his body was speaking to him. "Never forget that you are my successor now," He gritted his teeth, the boy sweating immensely.
He continued to grit his teeth the same way he did back then. All of this training...it reminded him of how he couldn't be saved back then. And how it affected him now. He looked towards his left arm covered in ice. "...I will not be what you want," He declared, clenching a fist.
"Such strong hatred," Another voice spoke up that wasn't from one of his classmates. The boy gasped sharply, standing up in alarm.
"Who are you?!" He demanded as an explosion then occurred. And amongst the smoke, there was a single shadow stepping forward.
"I don't think you have the face of a hero right now..." The new person spoke up...dressed like a villain. He had blades around him and was mostly dressed in black, as well as much taller. Shoto glared at him; he didn't recognize this person at all.
Who the hell is he?
The villain cracked his neck while stepping forward. "It's all just a facade..."
"Wearing a mask...during the attack...could it be?" Shoto asked in alarm as...it was possible he was from the USJ incident from a few days ago. He narrowed his eyes at this most likely being the ruth. He was hidden?! Shoto immediately sent a blockade of ice the villain's way...but he jumped in from behind, completely dodging the attack.
"Too slow!" He taunted the boy, who turned around with a sharp gasp. The villain then attacked him while still in the air.
Meanwhile, back outside, the designated five were still searching for the 'injured'. "Hey! Help!" A voice called out and Izuku bent down to a compartment. He smiled once he saw his classmate.
"We've found Ojiro!" He smiled towards Mashirao.
"Midoriya!" He waved his hands with a smile.
"Hold on, I'll get you out!" Izuku called out to him. Minoru used his balls from his head.
"So you're gonna use my sticky balls, huh?" He asked while planting them on a pole. Izuku bent down to plant a rock on one of them.
"We can build a ladder for him to get out," He informed the shorter boy. "Ojiro! You can use this climb up!" He put down the ladder.
"Thanks!" He called out to the two.
"That was a smart move," Minoru smiled a bit towards Izuku, who rubbed the back of his neck bashfully.
"I just...like to think about how heroes can use their Quirks, that's all."
A few cars were floating thanks to Ochaco. "We've got Jiro safe and sound!"
Kyoka let out a sigh, standing up and scratching the side of her head. "I was sure you wouldn't be able to find me." Ochaco gave her a small smile in response.
"Uraraka! Jiro!" Tenya ran up to them both. They both turned to him in confusion that he was approaching them. He wasn't one of the people that were supposed to be doing the rescuing. So him coming out of hiding was a bit odd.
"Wasn't he supposed to be hiding?" Kyoka wondered and Tenya lunged towards them.
"Get away!" He shouted while pushing them to the ground. There was a small crash, getting the attention of the twins, Minoru, Mashirao, and Katsuki.
"What's going on?" Ochaco asked while sitting up.
"A villain is attacking!" He informed, alarming the girls. Smoke appeared and in the distance was the same villain Shoto faced.
"Why is he here?!" Ochaco questioned in disbelief.
"Was he hiding?" Kyoka wondered, and the two girls gasped sharply.
"It can't be...! No!" Ochaco's eyes shook as Shoto was being held by the villain, looking to be unconscious. "Todoroki?!"
"The strongest in our class..." Kyoka murmured in disbelief. Tenya ran up to stand between the two.
"You two should hurry back to Mr. Aizawa!"
"What about you?" Ochaco frowned just as Izuku and Minoru appeared nearby.
"A villain?!" Izuku exclaimed upon seeing this.
"How?!" Minoru recoiled back in alarm. Denki, Hanta, Momo, Eijiro, and Fumikage had came out of hiding, seeing this as well.
"This shouldn't be possible!" Momo frowned deeply at up ahead.
"Seriously?" Eijiro asked in alarm.
"Mr. Aizawa, Thirteen, there's a villain!" Mashirao had gone off to inform the teachers.
"Bad timing," Mr. Aizawa turned to him. "We're too injured to fight."
"Then what do we do?!" Mashirao asked in a panic. There was no way that the teachers could handle another fight right now, especially after what happened during the USJ incident to the both of them.
"We run! Head for the exit, quickly!" Thirteen pointed to the entrance.
"You won't escape, because this is your last fight!" The villain declared, raising his foot and then stomping so hard it caused a large shockwave. Buildings started to fall over, creating a huge dust cloud. Izuku and Minoru coughed from the ground, looking up in shock from what happened. The buildings were now surrounding them, making a sort of battlefield.
"What the hell is this?!" Minoru shouted in disbelief.
"So strong!" Denki exclaimed in a panic; this villain was definitely more powerful than the horde of villains they faced prior.
"How did a guy like this stay hidden from everyone?!" Eijiro looked around in shock.
"Now then," The villain spoke up, getting their attention. "Since the terrain is to my liking...no one will be able to escape from me!"
Thirteen glanced back and let out a small groan. "This can't be! Hurry, get away!" She shouted towards the students. Suddenly Katsuki came flying in with his explosions. Then a yell was heard as Izuka flipped from above while holding her bow. Once Katsuki was close enough, he fired off the explosion while Izuka moved her body downwards. She fired off her shooting star to try and get the villain to release her classmate. The villain moved away the smoke and kicked away the shooting star back towards the girl. Her eyes widened in disbelief before she created a shield to soften the blow. She was sent flying backwards, Katsuki leaping forward to grab her by the arm and the two slid to a stop together.
"No way...are those two...actually teaming up?" Izuku murmured at the two of them; he knew that Katsuki had started walking her home and had saved her life a few times now. But actually willing to fight by her side when earlier, he didn't even want to work with them? It also just could've been something to do with the USJ attack, where they fought together without issue then—mostly.
Izuka panted while looking at the villain wide-eyed. No way...no one's ever been able to predict and counteract my shooting stars before. Is he with Shigaraki? No...he's alone, though he must've known how to bypass the security to be here now. He's definitely nothing like the villains we fought last time. Just who is he...? Whoever he is, I have to get Todoroki-San away from him.
This guy managed to dodge both attacks...like he knew what we would do. "You extras get the hell out of my way! He's all mine," Katsuki grinned widely towards the villain.
"Such nerve to decide something like that right here and now!" The villain taunted them both.
"You're the one who decided to attack a bunch of UA students!" Izuka narrowed her eyes at him.
Katsuki let out a yell as he and Izuka charged forward. "Both of them are crazy!" Minoru exclaimed with tears in his eyes. "Why don't they stop and realize that this guy is obviously stronger? Is he just influencing Mido now?"
Izuku gave a small frown looking towards his sister and Katsuki. You're wrong. He watched Katsuki fire multiple explosions with punches. The villain counteracted them back with his own punches, not even being harmed by Katsuki's Quirk. Kacchan isn't the kind of person who doesn't think. Izuka came in spinning from above, using her shield this time, but the villain used his own head to counteract her protection. As for Izuka, she rushes into action without needing to think, her instincts speak for her.
"Acting in a normal way. There's a lot of pro heroes who aren't able to do that," Thirteen informed the class.
He's doing what he can, just as he wants! Izuku watched Katsuki continuously punching, the blond flinching in alarm to see the villain about to knock Izuka back with his head. He then leaned forward to punch the villain in the face, allowing Izuka to land on the villain's shoulders and flip back to Katsuki's side. Izuka processes her surroundings and battles just like I do, so she knows that this villain is much stronger.
"This ends now!" The villain came charging in towards the both of them this time.
"Watch out!" Tenya shouted in alarm, Katsuki using an explosion to elevate himself into the air. Izuka held out her hands towards the ground, using her shooting stars to leap above the villain's head. Katsuki did a flip as Izuka came falling back down, her foot outstretched. Katsuki swung in with his right hand, firing off a huge explosion just as Izuka kicked the villain in the face. Katsuki looked up at her wide-eyed before seeing her crouching down to slide safely to a stop, unharmed. She clenched her fists in determination looking up ahead.
"Whoa, wait, Mido is fire-proof?!" Denki's mouth opened a little. Katsuki stared at her in disbelief; he knew since the USJ attack that his explosions had no effect on her, so she was at least not vulnerable to fire to some extent. The blond then snapped out of it. He slid to a stop near Tenya.
"Hey! Stop wasting time about extras!" Katsuki told the class rep, baffling him. "Don't just stand there like an idiot, Four Eyes! You weaklings need to stay out of my way. And I don't need you to fight with me, mousy."
Izuka stood up, glancing at him curiously. Is he saying that because he wants to win on his own...or because he doesn't want our class to go through what happened last time? And if he was really bothered by me fighting this guy, why is he telling me this now?
Is this because Izuka could've burned herself with his explosion if she didn't turn out to be fire-proof? Izuku blinked at Katsuki in astonishment.
"Why do you always have to insult other students?!" Tenya narrowed his eyes a little, running forward.
"Hey, Bakugo!" They heard another voice, turning to see Eijiro walking up. "Who do you mean weaklings?"
Momo stepped up beside him with a determined look. "We are Class 1-A."
"We'll all be heroes!" Ochaco stated in determination as everyone was there now. Minoru gave a relieved look.
"Everyone..." Izuku smiled happily at them. They heard a growl, turning around to the villain.
"How brave of you. However..." He held up his fist, sending another shockwave.
"Leave this to moi!" Yuga exclaimed, firing off a naval laser to blast away some of the rocks flying towards them. One of them flew towards Eijiro, who hardened his skin. He then swung his arm to crush the rocks into pieces. Some of them went flying towards Rikido, who punched them to bits. Kyoka connected her ear to her leg, firing off a sonic wave towards the villain. If it was having any effect on him, he wasn't showing it. Hanta fired off some tape while Momo had used Creation to make a cannon. Both of them fired as well, the tape having restrained him. The cannon had fired off a net that went over the villain from head-to-toe.
"Now!" Momo shouted, Izuku, Mezo, Tenya, and Minoru running.
"Let's go, Class 1-A!" Tenya shouted, and the villain broke through his restraints, sending another powerful wave towards them. The four boys were sent flying backwards before Izuka could react, all of them landing on various debris.
"I didn't think you'd all attack at once," The villain spoke up to them. Tenya and Izuku grunted while looking up. "It was unexpected, but with something so simple, I-" The smoke cleared behind him to reveal Katsuki and Izuka charging in again. He swung his arm forward to fire an explosion, Izuka firing off a shooting star. The villain moved his head to the side, using his free hand to catch Izuka's ammo, to the shock of the three. Katsuki and Izuka tried to attack again, but the villain moved his head down and they landed to the side.
"I-It's like he's..." She started off in disbelief.
"Predicting our moves," Katsuki gritted his teeth, as this was starting to piss him off. But if this villain wasn't connected to Shigaraki at all, how would he know how their Quirks operated so well? The villain swung his arm but both of them moved to the side. Katsuki charged in again, swinging his leg to kick. The villain held his arm up to block the blow, jumping away from an incoming explosion. Izuka jumped up from behind and swung her arm to fire her shooting star. He was still holding onto the first one though, and he threw that right back at the second, causing an explosion to cancel each other out. Izuka yelped as she flew backwards, her back hitting the ground with a grunt.
"Izuka!" Izuku shouted as she sat up, frowning as she narrowed her eyes.
Something's not right here. He'd have to be watching all of us very closely to know how my Quirk works. The only time I've shown mine in public was when I helped Katsuki with that sludge villain. But there's no way that's even possible, we haven't been back to the USJ until now. And most of us weren't even using our Quirks up until we attacked him.
Katsuki slid to a stop in front of the girl, his fist shaking. "Damn bastard..."
"Kacchan..." Izuku murmured in worry for him, gasping as he got an idea. "Ida, Mineta! Uraraka, Asu—Tsu!" He then stood up as the four stared at him. "I have an idea!"
The villain swung his arm, sending a wind blast at Katsuki just as Izuka stood up. The boy grunted, kneeling down to take a breather. Izuka stared at him a bit wide-eyed, as she...actually felt a twinge of concern for him. The villain was not only too fast, but too unpredictable...how were they going to stop him?
"It seems you're getting tired. Time to end this."
"Ha!" Katsuki stood up confidently. "Don't make me laugh! I'm just getting started!" He then ran forward at the same time that Izuku did.
"Wait, Bakugo-San!" Izuka held out a hand so he could stop and think of a new strategy at least.
"Now!" Izuku shouted as Ochaco held out her hand.
"Here we go!" She stated while touching his hand with her gravity.
"Asui!" Izuku cried out as her tongue wrapped around his waist.
"Call me Tsu!" She reminded as she spun around to give him some more momentum. Katsuki let out a yell while firing off another explosion in the villain's face...but it had no effect on him.
"No matter how much you try-" He turned around to see Izuku charging in with one of Minoru's sticky balls.
"Release!" Ochaco pressed her hands together just as Izuku touched the villain with it, swooping in and grabbing Shoto. Katsuki gasped as Izuka gave a beaming smile of relief.
"He got him out at the same time as the explosion?!" The villain exclaimed and Ochaco pumped a fist.
"He did it!" The girl cheered with a smile. Izuku slid to a stop, glancing at Izuka.
"Sis!" He shouted and she nodded in understanding. He held up his finger, powering up. "Here we go..." He said as she held up her hand, her fingers sparkling. "Smash!" He flicked his finger just as she threw another shooting star, and both attacks combined together. The villain held up his arms so he could absorb the impact, to the shock of everyone else. "I-It didn't work?!"
"That should've at least knocked him down!" Izuka stated in disbelief, since the villain couldn't have foreseen a combo move, but somehow he did.
"I thought I told you to stay out of the way!" Katsuki screamed while racing forward. His hands then started to heat up. "I'll kill you!" The villain knocked away the blast the twins sent just as Katsuki slid forward. "Die!" He held up his hands to fire off a huge explosion, sending the villain flying towards a rock filled with Minoru's sticky balls.
"He did it!" Minoru smiled while jumping up happily, the other students relieved as well. "The plan worked! Now he can't move!"
"Yes!" Tenya smiled with a small smile. "He flew straight through the spheres. Just like you planned, Midoriya!"
Izuku gave a small smile. "That's good."
"We did it, Deku!" Ochaco smiled while running up to him.
"That was a great plan," Tsuyu stood up with a smile of her own.
"Thanks, but it wasn't just me. I wouldn't have been able to pull it off without you guys," He told them with a soft smile. "And, well, there was also..." He looked up ahead and the two girls turned towards Katsuki and Izuka. "The one who understood my plan and followed it, sending that huge explosion to trap him. All while working together with someone he can't stand."
Though that didn't seem to be the case as Katsuki was walking towards Izuka, who was dusting herself off. She glanced up at him as he towered over her with an intense look. She shook nervously at his expression directed towards her before he scoffed. "Don't go trying to get yourself killed like that ever again, ya damn mouse. You can't keep jumping into battles if you don't know what you're doing. So just stay out of my way, got it?" He turned around and walked off, Izuka staring after him and blinking. He definitely didn't sound as angry as he usually did saying that to her.
You're both amazing Izuku smiled towards the two. Both together and by yourselves. He may have sounded like a jerk, but...I think he said that because he didn't know Izuka was fire-proof, and thought that he hurt her.
Katsuki headed towards the villain, who was still stuck. "I-I can't move!" He struggled to break himself free.
"Now it's time for the final blow!" Katsuki grinned widely while raising his hand.
"N-Now hold on a second! I..." He used the sticky balls to remove his mask to reveal that he was actually All Might! "I am here!"
"All Might?!" Katsuki and the twins shouted in unison. All Might let out a laugh while the teachers were not amused at all. Mr. Aizawa shook his head slowly; this was why All Might couldn't just do stuff like this...
"S-So that's why it felt like the villain knew what we were gonna do...!" Izuka blinked rapidly at the hero. It only made sense that someone who had extensive knowledge of all their Quirks had to be someone that they knew...
"I wanted the class to be a surprise by having a villain appear in the end!" Several of them walked over to him. "Well, that already happened last time. But you did a great job! I wouldn't expect anything less from the hero course..." He faltered as the students were all giving him a death glare. Tenya tilted up his glasses as it was now a terrifying silent atmosphere. All Might sweated nervously as it hit him that this was something he shouldn't have done to them... "That...Please forgive me."
"You took this surprise too far!" They shouted at him.
"Just like you said, Eraser," Thirteen turned to Mr. Aizawa while sweating. She was in on the whole thing, as was Mr. Aizawa.
"It can't be helped..."
"You want to surprise the students during their rescue class?" Mr. Aizawa turned to All Might in confusion. The man was in his true form.
"Yes," He nodded slowly at him. "I'll be the one doing all the fighting, so I won't force you and Thirteen to create new injures."
"...I don't think it's a good idea," Mr. Aizawa stated, to the shock of his fellow teacher. "If you recall, they just suffered from a villain attack. It's too soon to put the class through all of that again a second time days after."
"They all think it was an accident," All Might pointed out, holding up a finger. "Them and almost everyone believe it was just convenient timing, and it's not like this kind of thing happens every day. But that's my point, heroes will always encounter some form of danger. And I want your class to understand that."
"I get that, but it's also flawed. They might become traumatized all over again if this doesn't work out the way you want it to," Mr. Aizawa pointed out to him.
"In order to overcome determination, you have to be able to learn it," He then turned into his muscled form. "That is our duty as teachers, to teach them this lesson!"
Mr. Aizawa stared at him, as he wasn't wrong. He then closed his eyes, as he couldn't believe he was allowing this. "You'll assume responsibility for what happens. So if they decide to take it out on you, that'll be your problem."
"Ha ha!" All Might laughed confidently at this. "Don't worry. I believe in their strength and perseverance!"
"I was a little surprised that they all stood together like that for their classmate," Thirteen told Mr. Aizawa.
"Yes," He nodded in agreement with her, although half the class was currently scolding All Might for what he did to them.
"What the hell were you thinking?!" Katsuki shouted while Denki, Hanta, and Eijiro were kicking him.
"I said I'm sorry!" All Might cried out in pain, Izuka looking up ahead with her mouth covered with both hands.
"I-I think he's had enough...!" Izuka called out to them nervously. Shoto then walked up to the twins.
"Todoroki!" Izuku exclaimed in relief and then blinked as Shoto wasn't as angry as the rest of the class. Which could mean only one thing.
"You were in on this, weren't you, icy hot?!" Katsuki yelled at him.
Shoto turned around just as the villain raised his hand. He then stopped himself, confusing the boy. All Might laughed as he removed the mask, revealing himself. "Tis I, Young Todoroki!" Shoto then straightened up, seeing All Might's smile at him. "I need you to pretend like you're unconscious so that they won't suspect anything. Will you assist me?"
Shoto looked towards the ground, knowing that his classmates fought hard to save him. "I apologize for the deception."
"That wasn't cool, All Might!" Mina shouted at him as the hero had tears streaming down his face.
"I'm sorry...it wasn't supposed to be a real attack..." He lamented at this.
"Midoriya injured his finger!" Tenya scolded him as well. "Don't you think this paints UA in a bad light?!"
"Don't do that again!" Ochaco pouted at the hero, turning around to Izuku. "Right, Deku?"
He fell to his knees though, shocking Tenya, Ochaco, and Izuka. She bent down to him in concern. "Honestly...I'm just glad that it wasn't a real villain," He gave a relieved smile, the three sighing in relief along with him. That was true; if it was a real villain...who knows what might've happened to any of them.
"H-He...makes a good point," Izuka pressed her forefingers together. "If it was like the incident f-from not too long ago...it could've been way worse..."
All Might smiled happily at what the twins said. "Young Midoriya...Mido..." He murmured, though he still got glares from Ochaco and Tenya.
"Don't Young Midoriya and Mido us!" Tenya exclaimed at him.
"Deku, let's head over to Recovery Girl for your finger," Ochaco stated while Shoto stared at the twins. Izuku let out a yelp.
"S-So close...!" He murmured in embarrassment.
Shoto walked off, ice particles flying from his body. This training was giving him a lot to think about.
