Chapter 17
Magic Through the Decade
Walking through the portal, I felt reality around me distort heavily. "Is this a Doom Zone? No, it can't be.", I said. Suddenly, I found myself facing the outside of the Chaldea Security Organisation. "Why am I back in Antarctica?", I asked. Noticing a strange black and dark red energy field around Chaldea, I walked up to it only for it to mysteriously disappear. "Why would it just disappear?", I asked. "Maybe it's reacting to your Azure Grimoire.", Fafnir's voice said. "Or maybe the Ziku-Driver is trying to tell me something. Just what it is I don't know.", I said, sensing a sinister presence inside Chaldea. Walking inside, I saw that the corridors looked much more homely than the barren and sterile corridors in the Chaldea that I knew. Wondering why this was, I then saw a boy with white hair and grey eyes run past me followed by a girl with brown hair and yellow eyes. The boy was also holding a strange watch. "Do I know them?", I asked, walking forward. Hearing the sound of a kettle, I then passed by a strange portrait depicting me and Olga-Marie. Even more oddly, Olga-Marie was holding the girl that passed by me in the picture whilst the boy that passed by me was standing normally. Walking over to where the sound of the kettle was coming from, I found myself in a strange kitchen with Olga-Marie pouring hot water from the kettle into a pan. Even stranger, Olga-Marie was wearing a pink crop top and pink shorts with pink sandals, the outfit seeming like it had deliberately been picked to expose her stomach. "Olga?", I asked, causing Olga-Marie to turn around. Upon her looking at me, her face then lit up with happiness and she eagerly ran towards me, giving me a very tender and warm hug. "Oh Jack, you've finally returned! After you disappeared, I thought I'd never see you again, my love!", she said. "Wait, why are you calling me-?", I asked before Olga-Marie said, "Oh, don't you remember me, your wife?", much to my confusion. "I-I thought Framme was my wife.", before Olga-Marie playfully put a finger to my mouth and said, "Oh, you know you never had a chance with that bitch. Besides, I actually have the ability to synchronise with you when performing the Spirit Channelling Ceremony, allowing us to repeatedly prove our superiority over the people of the Multiverse.". Feeling a strange sense of dread, I asked, "Wait, is Kukulkan here as well?". "Kukulkan?", Olga-Marie asked. "Yeah, ORT's heart given form and purpose, if I remember Sento right.", I said. "And who might this Sento person be?", Olga-Marie asked.
Before I could answer, I found myself in a strange stone chamber, with scores of dead cultists. "OK, where am I now?", I thought. Walking up to the central altar, I noticed that there was a strange Ridewatch on it. "I thought I'd find you here.", a voice said behind me. Turning around apprehensively, I saw a man resembling So Okuna wearing a black and dark gold suit. "I'm sorry, you are?", I asked. "Oh, sorry, my bad. My name is Sougo Tokiwa, the former Demon King of Time.", the man said. "Former?", I asked. "Yes, former. As in previous. Besides, I've seen that you've been using my Ziku-Driver well. To be honest, I was taking a huge risk when I gave Mephiles strict orders to give it to you alone, but I'm glad that it paid off.", Sougo said. Noticing a black and dark red aura surrounding him, I felt a small sense of relief that Sougo at least hadn't been corrupted by the Silent Core. "Anyway, mind explaining why you gave me the Ziku-Driver?", I asked. "Ah, yes. You see, when that monster YHVH invaded over an extremely petty reason, me and my friends Geiz, Tsukuyomi and Woz devised a plan with all of my 19 predecessors including Sento to nurture the growth and development of a second Demon King of Time. That person we were seeking was you. Of course, your parents Ragna and Velvet weren't particularly receptive to that plan but then again, it was understandable given that you had suffered great indignities at YHVH's hands. To facilitate your growth as the Demon King of Time, me and my predecessors decided to recreate the long-disappeared Ridewatches only for the Ex-Aid, Fourze and Faiz Ridewatches to mysteriously disappear.", Sougo said. "Welcome to my world.", I said. "We used Chaldea's advanced technology to search for the Ridewatches, combining it with the Ars Magus and Ars Armagus used by the Novus Orbis Librarium and the technology used by Sector Seven alongside the Hollow Investigative Association's own technology to work out where the missing three Ridewatches had disappeared to. We managed to find the Ex-Aid Ridewatch at Seito University Hospital only to find it had mysteriously split into two- a Blank Watch and the Mighty Action X Gashat. Of course, I sent Hiiro to investigate; only I never received his report.", Sougo continued. "Funny story. When I arrived at Seito University Hospital, I faced an Another Rider called Another Ex-Aid there and during our fight, the Gashat and Blank Watch merged into the Ex-Aid Ridewatch which is now in my possession. In fact, I most recently used it against Dantes and Salieri when they transformed into Another Fourze and Another Faiz.", I said. "And where did you face them?", Sougo asked. "At the bottom of a volcano. Why do you ask?", I asked. "So you faced them in Death Mountain, huh? Needless to say, I'm impressed.", Sougo said. "To be honest, when I last visited Death Mountain properly, it was playing host to the now destroyed Fire Crystal.", I said. Chuckling, Sougo then left the shrine.
Examining the altar closely, I saw the Ridewatch was also covered in strange energy much like the Shinobi Miridewatch in Random Play. Unlike that Miridewatch, however, the Ridewatch on the altar was expelling a cold energy. "Huh?", I asked. Touching the Ridewatch, I then saw a vision of robots who looked very human fighting against who seemed to be Kamen Rider Kikai. Beside him was Kamen Rider Shinobi and Kamen Rider Quiz. As the vision faded, I then deftly dodged a card with a magenta finish. Turning around, I saw a man who looked a lot like Masahiro Inoue. "I'm impressed. Your reflexes are as tip-top as ever.", the man said. "I'm sorry, who are you again?", I asked. "Oh, sorry. Bad habits. My name is Tsukasa Kadoya.", the man said. "You a Kamen Rider too?", I asked. "Oh, yes, I am. I specifically am known as Kamen Rider Decade. I see from your Ziku-Driver that you have been chosen as the new Kamen Rider Zi-O.", Tsukasa said. Looking at the Ridewatch on the altar, I then asked, "Mind telling me why the Ridewatch on the altar is expelling a strange cold energy?". "That's odd. The Kikai Miridewatch shouldn't be doing that. But I guess it can't be helped, given the large amount of astral energy that YHVH drained away from the Multiverse. Maybe the Kikai Miridewatch is doing that in order to make up for what YHVH drained.", Tsukasa calmly said. Suddenly, I felt an acute feeling of fear. "No. Don't tell me ORT's here as well!", I said. "Hmm. Maybe it could work.", Tsukasa said. "What do you mean?", I asked before Tsukasa threw a strange magenta Ridewatch to me that I just barely managed to catch. "Wait, is this what I think it is?", I said as I examined the Ridewatch carefully. "Yes, it is. The Decade Ridewatch, albeit a spare that I produced with my friend Daiki's help. Take it. You never know, it could come in handy someday.", Tsukasa said. "Thanks, I guess.", I said as Tsukasa left. Following him out of the chamber, I then found myself in what seemed to be an eerie ritual site with what seemed to be an eclipse in the sky. "What is that?", I asked, confused. "I'll tell you what it is. It's an eclipse that can summon terrible monsters into the world.", a man resembling Shunya Shiraishi said. "And who are you?", I asked. "Oh, sorry. My name is Haruto Soma, who the people of Magic Land know as Kamen Rider Wizard.", the man said. Looking at the Ziku-Driver around my waist, Haruto then said, "It seems Sougo made a good choice in giving it to you. And you already have 4 Ridewatches already!". "Yeah, the Build, Ex-Aid, Fourze and Faiz Ridewatches.", I said. Suddenly, I felt a strange burst of fear. "No, it can't be! It really can't be!", I said. "Oh, it is.", Kukulkan said as she walked in front of me and Haruto. I also noticed that Kukulkan was holding a strange purple watch and was accompanied by a woman with long pink hair and amber eyes wearing a big purple witch hat, a white blouse, purple ribbons, long black stockings, grey high-heeled shoes and a black miniskirt. "Wait, are you-?", I asked the pink-haired woman, causing her to reply, "Yes, my name is Konoe Ayatsuki Mercury, but you may also know me as Nine of the Ten Sages and the Six Heroes.", the woman said.
Noticing the appearance of strange green crystals very similar to the ones that had appeared in Sixth Street, I then steeled myself. "Why are you apprehensive? It's not like you.", Kukulkan said with an eerie smile on her face. Suddenly, a dark red dimensional portal appeared with a man who resembled Hiroki Ijima running through. "And you are?", I asked the man. "Oh, sorry, I'm Emu Hojo, the Genius Gamer M that Hiiro mentioned to you.", the man said. This was followed by a second red dimensional portal that a man resembling Gaku Sano rushed out of. "And who are you?", I asked the man. "You've forgotten me too? Well, anyway, my name is Kouta Kazuraba.", the man said. Sighing, Kukulkan said, "Well, it seems I'll have to force you to awaken, Jack. I didn't want to do this but you've forced my hand.", before pressing a button on the purple watch, causing a distorted voice to yell out, "Wizard!". Kukulkan then shoved the watch inside Konoe, causing her to warp and twist into Another Wizard, the transformation itself causing me to throw up. "You weren't like this before. What changed, Jack?", Kouta asked. "Let's just get this over with.", I said, summoning the Zi-O Ridewatch to my right hand. "I've been waiting to hear you say that!", Haruto said as he summoned a strange ring to his left ring finger. "Indeed.", Emu said as he clicked the Mighty Action X Gashat in his hand, causing a voice to say, "Mighty Action X!". "Well, if you're going to transform, I guess I should as well.", Kouta said as he placed the strange lock in his hand into his belt, causing it to announce, "Lock on!". As Emu, Haruto and Kouta became covered by pillars of pink, crimson and orange energy respectively, I slammed the Zi-O Ridewatch into the right slot of the Ziku-Driver. "Transformation!", the four of us shouted in unison before we transformed- me into Kamen Rider Zi-O, Haruto into Kamen Rider Wizard, Emu into Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and Kouta into Kamen Rider Gaim. "Four Kamen Riders this time? Aren't I a lucky woman?", Kukulkan said before turning to Another Wizard and saying, "I can leave the next step of Jack's accession to you, can't I? Oh, of course I can.". "You can say that again.", Another Wizard said before she launched a barrage of skull shaped fireballs that I slashed through with the Zikan Girade. Rushing at Another Wizard, I then unleashed a violent barrage of slashes and stabs that the Another Rider kept pace with by unleashing a volley of icicles and tornados. "Does he even need us anyway?", Emu asked. "Give it time. He'll need our powers eventually.", Kouta said.
Unleashing a violent volley of Doom Spears, I then infused them with ice, fire and electricity much to Kukulkan's pleasant surprise. "DIE!", I roared as I fired the Doom Spears at Another Wizard only for her to block the volley with a strange magical mirror. I then felt a strange sense of rage come over me as I summoned the Ex-Aid Armour and unleashed a deadly dance with the maces in my hands. As you might expect, Reader, Another Wizard blocked it and retaliated with a gust of wind that I narrowly dodged, promptly speeding up considerably and retaliating with an impossibly fast strike that Another Wizard somehow managed to keep pace with. As I moved at an impossibly fast speed, I then substituted the Ex-Aid Armour for the Brave Armour, now equipped with a sword capable of attacking with fire and ice. "That's the Fantasy Gamer Level 2 form! But how?", Emu asked in disbelief. "Maybe through the power of Incarnation.", Haruto said. "But if he can use the same power as Kazuto can, then maybe Jack really is destined to become the Sovereign.", Kouta said. As I slashed through Another Wizard's spells, she then shrieked in rage. Covering herself in a purple magical sphere, she then said, "Try to break through this!". "Challenge accepted.", I said, promptly hacking and slashing away at the sphere with an almost rhythmic beat. "No.", Haruto then said, a strange sense of fear. "What is it, Haruto?", Kouta asked. "We need to intervene now!", Haruto said as he rushed towards me with Emu and Kouta in tow. Continuing to hack and slash away at the purple sphere, I then unleashed a blast of fire and ice that greatly cracked away at it. "There!", I thought as I then unleashed a potent blast of ice that straight up shattered the purple sphere covering Another Wizard. As Haruto, Emu and Kouta then joined, the 4 of us then unleashed a powerful beam of energy that Another Wizard just managed to counter, sending Emu, Haruto and Kouta back and forcing me out of the Brave and Ex-Aid Armours. As they detransformed, Emu, Haruto and Kouta painfully jerked themselves up and saw a dark green aura surrounding Kukulkan. Forming the Wizard Ridewatch in his hand, Haruto then charged it up with red magical energy before he threw it to me. Catching the Ridewatch effortlessly, I pressed the button on the top of the Ridewatch, causing a voice to say, "Wizard!". I then slammed the Ridewatch into the left slot of the Ziku-Driver, causing me to be surrounded by golden and red magical energy that then dispersed to form the Wizard Armour. "Armour Time! Please! Wizard!", the Ziku-Driver announced. "The Wizard Armour, huh? Things are getting interesting!", Another Wizard said before I was then overcome by a sudden burst of uncontrollable anger.
Forming two orange Tao Mandalas, I was then covered in an elemental aura consisting of fire, water, air and earth that I then burst and unleashed in a volley of fiery, watery, windy and earthen spears that Another Wizard's magical mirrors could barely defend against. Summoning a giant tornado, I then burst the energy to create a razor sharp burst of wind that cracked the mirrors and snapped them in two. "He's going berserk!", Haruto said. "You think?", Kouta asked. Flying up to the air, I then summoned a horde of chess knights wielding swords, axes, lances, bows and maces that flew toward Another Wizard through an array of dark portals. This was followed up with a giant sphere of gravity that I threw down followed by several complex equations that were formed in the shape of space shuttles that barraged Another Wizard and electrocuted, froze and burned her all at once. "This, this isn't possible!", the Another Rider screamed in disbelief before I then summoned a veritable storm of meteorites that vaporised the ritual site. Grinning, Kukulkan then said, "Well, I guess it's time for me to join the fight now.", as a green belt formed around her waist. She then gently caressed the belt, causing an eerie silver and green light to cover her. Kukulkan then yelled, "Transformation!", the light dispersing to reveal her as a female Kamen Rider with a green colour scheme and a silver helmet with eerie red eyes. "I am Kamen Rider ORT in case you were wondering.", Kukulkan said before I was then covered in a dark red aura of cyber energy. "DIE!", I roared as the energy covered me and coalesced into the form of a dragon, causing me to fly toward Kukulkan and unleash a powerful attack that Kukulkan easily countered with a green crystal. Undeterred, I then unleashed a series of powerful blows that ended in a Doom Blast that propelled Kukulkan into the air. After trapping the woman in a gravity sphere, I then unleashed a volley of Doom Spears that Another Wizard dispelled with a blast of fire. "Forget about someone?", the Another Rider asked before I fired a gravity sphere that prevented her from moving. Forming magical boxing gloves on my hands, I then infused them with red cyber energy and rushed towards Another Wizard, unleashing a volley of powerful punches that ended with a powerful blow to the stomach, causing the Another Rider to hesitate. Seizing the chance, I then unleashed a powerful blast of fire that burned the Another Rider before I then unleashed a powerful claw swipe from my right hand, following it up with a blast of darkness that knocked her unconscious, forcibly detransforming her and causing the Another Watch to short out and explode.
As I detransformed, I was then overcome with a powerful surge of anger that caused me to unleash a powerful black and dark tornado that forced Kukulkan to detransform and forced Haruto, Emu and Kouta to flee with Konoe and Kukulkan in tow. Screaming with rage, I then felt the Negative Speed Force surge inside my body as something began to change within me, the dark energy of the Azure Grimoire forcibly detransforming me as well. My rage then faded very quickly. Looking around the destroyed ritual site, I also noticed that the eclipse had also disappeared. It was then at this moment that I noticed that my nose was also bleeding. "Huh? When did I get a nosebleed all of a sudden?", I thought. "Well, well, well, that was impressive.", said a person behind me. As I turned around, I noticed a man who resembled Ukyo Matsumoto. "Who are you?", I asked. "It really isn't normal for you keep forgetting who we are. Anyway, my name is Taiga Hanaya, a radiologist formerly based at Seito University Hospital.", the man said. "What do you mean by 'formerly' based there?", I asked. "I lost my licence when I was fighting a Bugster who killed the girlfriend of a colleague of mine. Since then, I've been working as an unlicenced doctor.", Taiga said. Getting out a handkerchief, Taiga then wiped my nose with it. "Huh?", I asked. "Don't misunderstand. There's something that Emu, Hiiro and I have been concerned about and I need to run some tests at my lab. To do so, I need a sample of your blood. I'm a radiologist, after all.", Taiga said before mysteriously vanishing. "Weird.", I said before a tranquiliser dart pricked my neck, causing me to feel strangely drowsy before I collapsed.
