Ladybug and Cat Noir have separated.

They defeated Chrysalis alongside Midoriya and his classmates. After everything they've been through, they soon found themselves heading back to Paris. Along the way however, Cat Noir and Queen Bee decided to stay with Class 1-A.

Stay at U.A. and become stronger heroes.

They all were happy to be home, but things for almost everyone felt different. Marinette and her parents were closer than ever with them finally knowing who she was. Ladybug was no longer a secret to her parents and friends. Even the school knew who Ladybug and her teammates were. They supported it and made sure that things were okay between of all them.

The school was surprisingly supportive when Marinette came back to take classes. There were no more akumas however, so things were very quiet around here. It was kind of weird having no HawkMoth or Chrysalis around. Something about it made Marinette realize how different things were without them around.

Marinette kind of missed it in a way.

It had been a whole summer since she's seen Adrien or Chloe. Something about it was a little weird to her that it had already been a almost six months since she's seen them. She knew that Japan's school system was different so she knew that they were already in their second year in high school. They didn't really have a summer break like Paris, but she knew that they started pretty much after they left Japan.

She missed him a lot, and they called each other all the time. The portal gave them the ability to connect to the the internet and wifi from Paris and Japan, so they could easily call each other or text one another. She felt so much better calling him after almost every school night. They both called each other before going bed. They would talk about how their days went and how hero training went.

Marinette could tell that Adrien was really enjoying over there in U.A. He was doing so much better than she expected over there. He got upgrades to his hero costume along with Queen Bee. They even got new inventions made by Hatsume. Melissa was asked to stay at U.A. for a longer period of time since she actually helped a lot with the portal and upgrades. Marinette was so happy to hear this and hoped that she could help out even more at U.A.

Marinette and Adrien were finally feeling so much better and were okay being separated.

Marinette got up from her bed and got dressed, ready to go back to school. She smiled at her reflection and wondered how Alya was doing. She and Alya have gotten pretty close since she got home. She was staying over a lot more often, especially since her mom and dad knew about them being Ladybug and Rena Rouge.

She would never get used to that. Her parents were so excited about her being Ladybug and would always get the chance to promote her with their baked goods. Even though they weren't allowed to tell people that she was Ladybug, they still loved showing her off to everyone. Something about was a little embarrassing as they made Ladybug and Cat Noir macarons and cookies.

Marinette grabbed her backpack, ready to see all of the Ladybug and Cat Noir macarons and cookies. Then she spotted the Miracle Box in the corner. It looked completely different ever since she got home. She noticed right away that it looked like it was both hers and Cat Noirs. It had a Ladybug style to it, but also Cat Noir's own personal style to it as well.

It had the same usual Ladybug look, but with Cat Noir's design swirled all around it on one side almost like a ying yang. The polka dots were still there, but were green with cat paws on the inside of them. Ever since Cat Noir became a Guardian of the Miraculous, she's noticed how weird it is to be sharing the Miracle Box with him. Even though he wasn't here, she felt like he was with the Miracle Box right in her room.

Marinette smiled at it, but still worried about Adrien. She really wished that she could go over there, just for a short trip. She talked to him last night, and he sounded like he was busy with school work. She wanted to talk to him since it had been a while, but she knew that he was busy over there. Things were different over there anyway.

She let out a sigh as she turned away from the Miracle Box.

"Are you okay Marinette?" Tikki asked her.

"Yeah," Marinette said back, "I just really miss Adrien. He was busy last night with school work. I know things are different over there, but I wish that I could go see him. Just for a short trip. I mean, it has been six months."

"Marinette. I know you miss him, but you should give him a break," Tikki said back, "He's busy hero training. These classes are probably getting tougher on him. Even Chloe is probably going through the same thing. Maybe you should talk to Zoe."

Marinette smiled, feeling excited to be going back to school.

"Thanks Tikki. I think I will," Marinette said to her Kwami.

Tikki flew into her purse, and Marinette soon walked downstairs and into her parents' Bakery Shop. Marinette smiled as she ran down the stairs, feeling excited to start her new year of school.

Something about it gave her a good feeling about today.

The third story of A Miraculous Field Trip!! I'm so happy to finally start this one! I'm planning something cool for this one! It'll be interesting and it'll kind of be more of its own thing rather than sticking to like a story of MHA or Miraculous since clearly things are different compared to the shows. It'll basically explain things as it goes. It'll be interesting!

Marinette is starting her new year in high school!!
