this is the prologue of the new book. I hope you enjoy your first holiday. Also, this is the first holiday special in the story There'll be another one in here obviously for New Year's but we're gonna try this for Christmas first this is the Olympians's first Christmas, and in the human world, their first human holiday, I hope you enjoy.

it was Christmas Eve. I was so excited. I get to spend it with my new friends and family. It was a big deal all through the castle. Odette was excited too. It was a few days after our court after the coronation a day since I saw the bogeyman appear, but I'm not gonna let him get under my skin.

because it's it's a big day for friends, Christmas I'm not gonna I went to go and help Odette decorate. Most of the place was decorated before the coronation, but I helped to finish up, decorating and cleaning up because we were gonna have a big party. Well, we weren't gonna party on Christmas Eve. We spent more decorating and getting things ready for the family get-together and I had to teach them how Christmas worked OK I explained tomorrow is a big celebration.

it's a day for friends and family to get together. You have a lot to learn to become human or at least somewhat the equivalent of human I said I know you didn't have a lot of holidays except for Red Day in Alencia so that's what we're gonna do I'm gonna help with things cooking and things for tomorrow and opening presents from Santa Claus Santa. maybe we should start by watching movies tonight we'll watch all Christmas movies until it's time to go to bed. I said we'll have a country Christmas movie marathon tonight or a day marathon. we sat and watched movies till it was time to read from the story after they heard the Christmas story they were amazed about how it happened. Is it true? I know it was true. We'll go over this again at Easter I said, but yes, a baby was indeed born in a major by the Virgin Mary I said they were mesmerized, so what do you all think? Yes, they said we like this idea of Christmas. Let us celebrate.

I think I know the best thing we should do instead of just reading the Christmas story there's a candlelight service later maybe we should go to that yes, Odette said there is a church nearby. Let us go.

We watched the movies in the morning and then we read the story before and after that and now we were going to go to church taking my new friends and family to church was going to be an experimental experience for a lifetime, but maybe it'll change their lives we packed up and gone to church. It was a candlelight service.

The church was crowded, but it was fine. He found a seat and everyone sat down. It was the first time they heard the Christmas story from World read it to us, but they experienced it and all the music they even learned a lot of it even Scarlet loved the music, her feet tapped along to some of it, and even started singing along, even though she didn't know the words.

Christmas day

I woke up excited it was the biggest day of the year Christmas. I woke up at 6 AM and went to see you at Santa brought us. It was their first Christmas, which was so adorable. I even helped with the unwrapping of their presents. Not all of them got presents because they were so new to everyone but it was fine. I had gifts for everyone even those who renewed I did my best I had known them for at least the summer months so it helped but still. But as I remind them, it wasn't all about the gifts.

right, it's not thanks for reminding us one by one they opened their presents they had breakfast beforehand so that was good when they sat and opened up presents after the present, and then after that, we watched movies again actually after that, we got ready for dinner.

then we had dinner after we watched more movies but before we did, we had prayer and took gave the blessing we had everything the classic dinner. It was delicious like always. It was just sad because my mother wasn't there my first Christmas without her but I know she was in heaven, looking down on me, her and father, and everyone who died if they were saved.

it was a lot bigger deal than Thanksgiving was next year will do better for Thanksgiving. Odette said yeah, I said nodding, but I think they enjoyed their first Christmas afterward we just sat there and watched more movies. What else could we do?

In the teenagers, they played with whatever they had that was gadget-related. My fiancé also played with his gadgets, and I watched in amazement how he figured out how it worked even though the tech was foreign, wow he said this isn't as easy as I thought how easy did you think it would be Here I said showing him thanks might be good at tech, but not as good as you, Lily.
