Hiccup pushed a large cart filled with toys he made towards the market. People were celebrating the Queen's coronation. Everyone was dressed in fancy garbs and yet everyone was happy. Hiccup breathed in the air as the wind blew. It has been years since the young boy arrived in his new home with his best friends, Toothless. Now he was a popular inventor and blacksmith. But none know of his roots or secrets. As he set up his cart in the market, he spotted a reindeer pulling a sled filled with ice. Hiccup waved at one of the few friends he made in this land. "Still selling ice, I see."
"Ah, the great toy maker Haddock leaves his farm and his shop for a cart." Kristoff joked as he climbed off his sled. The two shook hands.
"Just wanted to reminisce the old days." Hiccup said as both men set up their business.
"I still can't believe you were ever that small, skinny, and hopelessly lost kid. Now look at you. Your name is known all over Arendelle." Kristoff said and Hiccup laughed.
"Don't remind me." he said as people noticed the cart filled with toys. "Looks like we're about to have company."
"You mean you." Kristoff said as both men knew everyone loved what Hiccup makes.
"Don't cut yourself short. Everyone wants ice on a warm day." he said as a young man stood in front of the cart.
"Hello Mister Haddock. Do you have anything for a young toddler?" he asked and Hiccup grabbed a small Night Fury tool made of the finest Gronckle Iron.
"This is a Night Fury and to make the wings flap all you have to do is push on the tail." he said demonstrating it to the man before setting it in the father's hand. The man did as shown and smiled.
"How much?"
"Five Krones." Hiccup answered, surprising the man, but didn't question it. Just hand the blacksmith a single coin before leaving. More trades were made and some went over to Kristoff's sled for ice.
"You know, Hiccup, I don't know why you don't charge more for your toys." Kristoff said as Hiccup hand an elder woman a wooden sailing ship toy for a grandchild. "I know toy makers who charge twenty Krones at least for a quarter of the quality." he continued and Hiccup smirked. Many of the people gathers around the cart agreed in nods.
"Well, I get more business than the other toy makers and it's not that hard." Hiccup said as he handed a young child a Timberjack kite while the mother put a five Krones in a jar.
"I spend all winter cutting and loading blocks of ice onto a shed. You probably spend hours on a single detail." Kristoff said.
"Not for a single detail." Hiccup replied as he spotted the gates of the castle open. He looked around for Kari, so he can attend the ceremony today.
"What are you looking for, Haddock?" Kristoff asked.
"Kari, so I can make it in time for the ceremony." Hiccup answered as he trade more of the toys.
"Oh, the great Haddock has been invited by the Royals for a historic day. Don't let those nobles drive you nuts." Kristoff joked and both men laughed.

Elsa watched as nobles and wealthy folks flood the gates. Today needs to be perfect. As she needs to do is control her power for a few moments, and then the rest of the day will go on smoothly. Conceal. Don't feel. Don't let it show. Don't let them know. As she tried to control her breaths, a knock on her door startled her. "Yes?"
"Princess Elsa, we need to go to the chapel for the ceremony. Are you ready?" Kai asked and she was afraid of what comes next.
"I'll be right there. Thank you." she said thankful for Kai's aid. He never disappointed her and stood proud next to the princess.
~HHH~
The Chapel was filled with rich and stuck up nobles. Aside from the manners and stature, they reminded him of Berk. He couldn't wait for all of this to be over. Once it was over, he was out. He was invited to the coronation, and it would be rude to not come. But the party after is far from his scene. The chorus sang softly as Princess Elsa walked past the crowd. All stood at her grace before sitting back down and Hiccup for the first time saw the woman. She was young, beautiful, but her face told of sadness. Something he was used to.
He watched as the bishop crowned her. When she went to pick up the ceremony object, the bishop coughed, and it was silent for a few moments. As she took off her gloves, Hiccup had a strange feeling. When she turned around, everyone stood up and the bishop spook in one of the languages used in these lands. Hiccup's eyes were focused on the Queen as she looked afraid. As the bishop finished, she put the object back on the pillow and, in a rush, put her gloves back on.
"Queen Elsa of Arendelle." Everyone said before cheers and claps filled the chapel. Hiccup was left with questions and wonder. It appears that no matter where he is, something catches his curious mind.

"Queen Elsa of Arendelle." Kai said as the Queen walked in front of the throne. The people bowed in respect. "Princess Anna of Arendelle." he added and her little sister rushed in. Kai guided the Princess next to Elsa and she listened.
"Oh, here. Are you sure? Cause I don't think I'm supposed to. Oh, okay." Anna said and Elsa was happy to be with her sister again. The years of isolation have been hard for her, and she wished her powers weren't a danger to the younger sibling. The claps interrupted the thoughts as the celebration continued. She looked at her sister, who was standing awkwardly.
"Hi." Elsa said surprising Anna.
"Hi, hi me?" Anna asked and Elsa nodded. "Oh, um." she added trying to think of what to say next. "Hi."
"You look beautiful." Elsa commented.
"Thank you." Anna said giving a light laugh. "You look beautifuller." she said and Elsa tried to hold her laughter. "I mean not fuller, you don't look fuller, but more beautiful." and Elsa had a light laugh.
"Thank you." she said, happy to hear her sister's quirkiness. "So. This what a party looks like." she added, seeing the hall filled with people.
"It's warmer than I thought." Anna abruptly said with a chuckle.
"What is that amazing smell?" Elsa asked before both women smelled the air.
"Chocolate." they both answered before laughing. After all these years, Anna was still the same cheerful girl.
"Your majesty." Kai interrupted as he presented a short older gentleman. "The Duke of Weaseltown."
"Weselton." the Duke corrected sharply. "Duke of Weselton, your majesty." he said softer as he walked up to the two royals. "As your closest partner in trade, it seems only fitting that I offer your first dance as Queen." he offered before performing a strange array of dance moves before bowing and his hair flipped over. Both women held back their laughter at the sight. Regaining poser, Elsa decided to make the night more rememberable.
"Thank you, only I don't dance." she said.
"Well." the Duke replied disappointed.
"But my sister does." she offered and Anna laughed before realizing what was said. Soon the two were on the dance floor and Elsa felt sorry for her sister. She watched as they dance, holding back laughter. But more nobles and those wealthy enough to be invited come to introduce themselves and wish for a great rule in the kingdom. She didn't pay much attention to most of them, but one name caught her attention. Kai was confused at first, but presented a young man.
"Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third." Kai said and Elsa covered her mouth holding back laughter.
"Yeah, I know my name gets a few laughs." Hiccup remarked.
"I'm sorry for my reaction. I mean no offense." she said and he shook it off.
"Don't worry. I'm used to it and it's been my name since I was born." he said and curiosity caught her.
"And how does one get a name like Hiccup." she asked.
"Well, from where I'm from it's a tradition to name a child a hideous name to scare away trolls, but my mom named me Hiccup because no one thought I would survive." he answered and Elsa had a better understanding. "But here I am."
"Well then, Hiccup. It is a pleasure to meet you." Elsa said.
"As it is to meet you, your majesty, but please call me Hiccup if you don't mind." Hiccup replied with a charming smile. "Don't worry about ruling. Back home, the heir was given the title of useless and he became a good man."
"Thank you, Hiccup." she said and a few words caught her attention. "So you aren't a royal?"
"No. Truth be told, I haven't seen my home for years." he answered and she was confused. "I made my way to Arendelle and made a fortune." he continued and the name finally clicked.
"Haddock. As in Haddock Toy Shop?" she asked feeling like a fool and he nodded.
"The one and only." he said and she was shocked that such a young man has been making Arendelle's finest toys for years. She remembered receiving one when she was younger.
"How old were you when you started your business?" Elsa asked trying to understand how a boy become one of the most wealthy men in the kingdom.
"I was sixteen when I started out on a cart in the market. Then everything went up from there." Hiccup answered and she was impressed. He was just a boy, and yet his success was well known.
"You are an interesting man, Hiccup." she said and he nodded.
"Have a good evening, your majesty." Hiccup said before walking back to the crowd.
~HHH~
So the Queen was interesting. She was reserved yet had some openings. Hiccup thought she was hiding something, but it was just her being nervous. He was just being paranoid. Why he was is a mystery to even him? As he picked up a glass of champagne, he noticed the Princess walking next to the Queen. She was lucky to have a sibling to that cares for them. That's more than he had for many years. Before Toothless, who must be worrying about him. He drank the champagne before setting it on the table. He talked to the Queen and there was nothing more for him here.
But he noticed the two royals arguing before Princess Anna went through the crowd. He grabbed two more glasses of champagne and walked towards the Princess, but a man had already reached her, cheering her up. Hiccup looked over at the Queen to see that she was upset. He took a deep breath before walking towards the Queen. The Advisor Kai looked at the advancing young man. "Mister Haddock. What brings you back to her majesty?"
"Just wanted to give the Queen a beverage." Hiccup said and Kai just shrugged.
"Your majesty. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third. Again." Kai presented and the Queen looked over surprised to see the toymaker again.
"Your majesty." he said as he offered the glass out to her.
"Thank you Mister Haddock." she said as she grabbed the drink. "Hiccup I mean."
"I don't mean to intrude but I saw you and Princess Anna arguing." he said and she blushed from embarresment.
"Thank you for caring Hiccup and sorry that you had to see that." she said.

"It's alright. Me and my father argured a lot back home." Hiccup said and Elsa felt sorry for him. She was close to her parents and never would thought of arguing with them. "I needed a friend when that happened and I thought you might need one as well." he continued and she was grateful he was willing to be a friend, but she can't let anyone close to her. Her power was to dangerous.
"Thank you Hiccup. But I wouldn't be a good friend." she said holding back her emotions. "Believe me it'll be better for everyone."
"Ah, the old holding back emotion technique. I know that one very well." he said and she turned away from him.
"Leave me Hiccup. Please." she asked.
"Okay your majesty." he said and Elsa felt more alone. The words her parents said repeated in her mind. Conceal. Don't feel. She couldn't risk the life of anyone. She'll be alone to keep everyone safe.
~HHH~
He should have left by now, but something was nagging at Hiccup. Everyone knew the royal family had locked the gates for years and it is clear that it has affected the Queen. But there was something more. It was annoying him. It was like when he let Toothless go when they first met. Something was stuck in his mind and it happened again. There was something just off with the Queen. As he finished off another glass of champagne, he spotted Princess Anna holding onto the man from before walking towards the Queen. He watched closely trying to understand the royal family.
They were talking with the Queen looking shocked before walking away giving an order to a guard. Princess Anna was surprised and rush to her sister grabbing Queen Elsa's glove. She reached her glove in vain as the Princess pleads with her sister. The both of them looked sadden. As the Queen walked away.
"What did I ever do to you?" the Princess asked dloudly drawing attention to them.
"Enough Anna." the Queen said.
"No. Why? Why? Why do you shut me out?" the Princess asked. "Why do you shut the world out? What are you so afraid of?"
"I said enough!" the Queen yelled as she turned around. The room got cold and silent as a curve of sharp ice formed from thin air. Hiccup dropped his glass in disbelief. Everyone was surprised and the Queen looked afraid. She opened a door and rushed away.
"What in the realms?" he whispered.
Okay, I got a lot to say. First, this is my first Hiccelsa story. Reviews would be nice to make it better. Second, I will be working on my HTTYD story. Just need to figure out a few things. Third, I am going to do something different. because I can't ever make up my mind on what story I do, I'm holding a competition. If you send me a story idea through PMs, me and a few friends of mine will review and decide a winner. The winner will get their story written and published. I have no idea if anyone will participate, I just wanted to do something fun and new. It will need to be sent by the 20 of March. Fourth, we are officially in the second year of the war in Ukraine. I am amazed at what is happening. One year ago, no one thought Ukraine could hold off the Russian advance. Not even I thought they could. Glad I was wrong a hundred fold. This war has brought nothing but suffering. Entire villages have been erased. Thousands are dead. War Crimes are being revealed. The West is sending more and better aid to Ukraine. Russia deacdes of corruption has led to their massive casualties and destruction. End this war. Russia can't win. Their modern equipment is junk and they are using outdated equipment making their slaughter worse. Glory to Ukraine.
