POV: What if Percy managed to push Annabeth out of the way when she was falling into the Pit, and fell into Tartarus alone. Imagine: Percy stumbling out of the elevator all bloody and bruised, with his clothes in tatters, collapsing because he doesn't have any energy left. Someone having to half carry/support him out of the House of Hades. Having a Percabeth reunion that is just so, so heartbreaking, because they're just holding each other in their arms, afraid to let go, both of them sobbing. Annabeth trying to hug Percy as gently as possible so she doesn't hurt him, and him squeezing her so desperately that it's hard for her to breathe. Imagine that since Annabeth wasn't there, Percy could unleash his full power on the Pit, including earthquakes and bloodbending and his full fury. Misery is… let's just say out of commission. Later, when a huge monster suddenly lands on the Argo II, Percy just holds out his hand and the monster falls to the deck, writhing as if being torn apart from the inside, and then dissolves into dust. Percy, who didn't even look up from his breakfast, glances at the horrified demigods and mutters something about 'new powers'. His eyes go hollow and haunted at times, and everyone knows not to bother him. He has frequent night terrors but doesn't tell anyone(Except Annabeth, and she comforts him, but she doesn't fully understand it). The only person he can talk to about it is Nico, as he is the only other person to survive Tartarus, and even then, it is very hard for our resident Seaweed Brain.

I fixed some things in this chapter, hopefully it's better now!
