Charizard Valley

After a good rest and having breakfast, the group began heading out to the next town.

"Ok, we just have to go through this valley, go through an ancient ruin and then the union cave and we're in the next town," Lincoln said," plus, professor oaks friend Kurt lives in the next town.

"Right, lets gather some supplies," Ronnie Anne said."

They head to the store and gather some supplies.

"Keep in mind Sid, you'll get more money from battles," Clyde said."

"Right," Sid."

They enter the valley and start walking through.

"Lincoln, I'm tired, can we take a break?" Lola complained."

"We just had one five minutes ago," Lana replied."

"So, you can't expect me to walk all the way to the next town," Lola said." Lincoln, carry me!"

"No," Lincoln said."

"EXCUSE ME?!" Lola asked."

"Take this an experience, if you want to be trainers in the future, you'll have to learn to use your own two legs," Lincoln replied."

"He's right Lola," Rita said."

"Lily isn't walking!" Lola said."

"Because she and Carlitos are babies," Adelaide said."

"Yeah, so stop acting like a baby and let's keep going," Carl said."

"Sheesh, what a drama queen," Pikachu said."

Lola pouts as she and the others continue their walk through the valley.

"I bet the bet the next gym will be easy," Lynn said."

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves," Lynn sr. said."

"He's right, we don't know who they'll face," Carlos said."

Suddenly a woman appears before them, she was dressed in red and has green hair.

"Um, hello," CJ said."

The woman walks up to Lincoln and sniffs him leaving everyone confused.

"Um, why are you sniffing my son?" Rita asked as Lynn sr. pulls him away."

"Oh, sorry, I wanted to make sure if it was true," the woman replied."

"What was true," Arturo asked." And who are you?"

"Oh right, my name is Liza," Liza replied."

"I'm Lincoln and this is Pikachu, this is my family," Lincoln said."

"I'm Lynn sr.," Lynn sr. said."

"I'm Rita," Rita said."

"I'm Lori," Lori said."

I'm Leni," Leni said."

"I'm Luna," Luna said."

"I'm Luan," Luan said."

"Nice to meet you all, and as for your other question, I've heard of a Charizard evolving," Liza said."

"Oh that, then it's true," Lincoln said." come out Firestorm.

Charragon comes out. Liza looked amazed by him.

"So, it is true, I want you to come to my place, the Charicific valley," Liza said."

"Is it far?" Luan asked."

"Yup, you need to fly there," Liza said." I'll help, oh Charla!"

A Charizard comes flying in with a balloon with a basket full of groceries. the Charizard was also wearing a bow.

"Everyone meets Charla," Liza said."

"Nice to meet you," Leni said."

"Ok, let's go," Lincoln said."

"Actually, you should have Firestorm fly you," Liza said."

"Really?" Lincoln asked."

"You've never ridden on your Pokémon's back?" Liza asked."

Lincoln shakes his head.

"We'll first time for everything," Liza said."

She gets on Charla's back as everyone else gets in her basket along with Lincoln and Pikachu gets on Firestorm's back.

"Ok, let's go," Liza said."

Charla starts to fly pulling the basket as everyone holds on.

"Ok Firestorm, lets fly," Lincoln said."

Firestorm flies not knowing that Lincoln fell off.

"Uh, Firestorm, you forgot us!" Lincoln said."

Firestorm looks behind him and sees Lincoln on the ground.

"My bad," Firestorm said."

Back on his back Firestorm starts flying fallowing Charla. they soon see a Charizard like mountain.

"We're here," Liza said."

They all land in front of the gate.

"Wow, this place is awesome," Luna said."

"Yup, Charizards from Kanto and Johto come here to train to get stronger," Liza said."

"Well, Firestorm can beat them," Lynn said."

"So, you say," Liza said."

The gate opens and shows lots of Charizards either fighting or resting.

"They don't look tough," Firestorm said."

"I bet Firestorm can beat that one," Lynn said."

"Yeah," Lincoln said."

"Then prove it," Liza said."

Firestorm wakes up the sleeping Charizard and fires flamethrower at it. but it didn't faze it, it starts to get up and turns it back to Firestorm.

"Ha, its scared," Lynn said."

Suddenly, the Charizard swings it tail and sends Firestorm towards a wall leaving everyone mostly Lynn shocked."

"What the what?!" Lynn said."

"Firestorm!" Lincoln said."

"Like I said." Liza said."

Firestorm gets back up and charges at the Charizard only to get sent to the wall again.

"If you want a real challenge, then you can face Charla," Liza said."

"Bring it!" Firestorm said."

Not long, Charla grabs Firestorm's arm, swings him around and tosses him out and into the water.

"Aw crud," CJ!" CJ said."

Firestorm comes out of the water and heads towards the door only for it to close on him making him bang on it.

"I'm not done!" Firestorm yelled."

"Man, getting beaten by a girl, that's embarrassing," Carl said."

Carlota smacks him in the head.

"Ow, what?" Carl asked."

Firestorm stops and sits down looking at the door.

"Lincoln, am I weak?" Firestorm asked."

"Of course not, we've trained for three months, we've just got too arrogant," Lincoln replied." let's just rest for a while."

"I agree, he needs to refill his strength," Rosa said."

As night falls, everyone enjoys their meals and gets ready to sleep, except for Firestorm, he was still looking at the gate with determination. Liza on Charla's back sees this from the air.

"He's really determined," Liza said as Charla nods." With that kind of determination, I've made my decision."

Morning came as everyone wakes up and sees Firestorm still awake and looking at the door.

"Whoa, did he stay there all night?" Lana asked."

"Looks like it," Bobby replied."

Suddenly, the doors open with Liza standing on the other side.

"Well done, you passed the test," Liza said."

"What test?" Ronnie Anne asked."

"The test of will power to not give up," Liza replied." Firestorm can stay here to train."

"Are you kidding?! after he was tossed into the water?!" Lynn said."

"That's good to here," Lincoln said." Stay here Firestorm."

Everyone was surprised from this.

"You're kidding right?" Lynn asked."

"Nope, I want his to stay here and train to get stronger," Lincoln replied." And I know he wants too as well."

Lynn looks at Firestorm and nods.

"I see," Lynn said."

"It's Firestorm's choice, and it's not permanent, we'll see him again," Lynn sr. said."

"Exactly, and once we see him, he'll be a lot stronger," Rita said."

"Also, that path will lead you to the next town," Liza said."

"Thanks, now get to training, they're waiting for you," Lincoln said." Just don't forget us."

"I promise," Firestorm said."

The group leaves as Firestorm shoots fire in the air leaving a smile and a little tear on Lincoln and Lynn's face.

That's chapter 6, Firestorm is temporally gone, next chapter Ronnie Anne catches a starter.
