40. Chapter 40

Johto League part 1 heading to the league.

The scene begins with the group at Elm's lab talking to their friends and family.

"We saw the battle and report and loved it," Rusty said."

"Thanks Rusty," Lincoln said." And Clair was tough."

"By the way, is she single," Roger asked."

The girls gave him deadpan looks.

"What?" Roger asked."

"Anyway, we're going to train for the league," Lincoln said."

"And we'll be cheering for you guys," Albert said."

"Hey Lincoln, since there are Pokémon based off Sonic then what if there are Pokémon based off Crash bandicoot, Spyro the dragon, Skylanders, Digimon, monster hunter or Dungeons and dragons?" Zach asked."

"Maybe Zach, maybe," Lincoln said."

The sisters looked confused.

"Another thing you girls can try with Lincoln when we're home," Rita said."

They nod.

"I bet the elite 4 and champion are even tougher," Joey said."

"But then there's Silver, we know he'll be there," Dana said."

"But after the league, are Luke, Brandon, Lulu, Laruen, Libby, and Lizzy going to live with you guys?" Becky asked."

"Of course we are, we already agreed to it before we met up with Lincoln," Luke replied." Until we stop Logan."

'That is if we can return to our universe after stopping Logan and restoring the multiverse,' Libby thought.'

"Well then, we'll see you at the league," Gale said." See you soon."

They wave goodbye and start training.

"Same thing, you're training separate?" Hector asked."

"Yup, we might face each other in one of the rounds Abuelo," Ronnie Anne replied."

Elm walks up to the group.

"Lincoln, Oak and I was thinking about letting you have these Pokémon," He said."

"Really?" Lincoln asked."

"Yes, if you want," Elm replied."

"Definetly," Lincoln said."

Lincoln catches Bergasaur, Sid catches Dersertle, Ronnie Anne catches Chronomander, Clyde catches Lazarita, Bobby catches Windaquil, and Brandon catches Totonile.

"I feel that we'll meet other Pokémon like these," Clyde said."

"Maybe in the other regions," Lauren said."

"Right now, let's train," Lincoln said as he and Ronnie Anne head out."

In their separate spots Lincoln and Ronnie Anne start training. Their Pokémon trained and evolved, starting with Lincoln, Chinchou evolved into Lanturn, Cyndaquil evolved all the way to Typhlosion, sentret evolved into Furret, Marowak evolved into Fosternum, X evolved into Nidonight, Chikorita evolved all the to Meganium, Diglett evolved into Dugtrio, Dratini evolved all the way not to Dragonite, but to something new called a Sylvenite, Droid evolved into an Ultraman, Eggsecute evolved into Exeggutor, Marril evolved into Azumarill, Lunarva evolved all the way to Rohinoth, Sporcerer evolved into Echanterelle, Legaon evolved into Akereign, Salveno evolved all the way into Thanomorte, Babygon all the way evolved into Mardukon, Aliegon evoled into Terrestrigon, Pyxmy evolved all the way into Drakamus, Dusmee evolved all the way into Egorgeon, Ragtile evolved all the way into Averagon, Spikrawl evolved all the way to Drakrown, Petaya evolved all the way to Quetzaya, Drimp evolved all the way to Shrimrong, Flatile evolved all the way to Volcanosaur, Dekuhup evolved all the way to Dekunight, Narutad evoled all the way to sagefroga, Spedot evolved all the way to Spyellot, Cyleo evolved to Cyroar, Psylin evolved into Aurafey, and Nidoran evoled all the way to Nidoking.

With Ronnie Anne's Pokémon, Goldeen evolved into Seaking, Infestick evolved all the way to Vaccsquito, Ochabit evolved all the way to Uravit, Cyleo evolved to a female Cyroar, Nidoran evolved all the way to Nidoqueen, Like Dragonair Geodude evolved into a Gravadon, Kefla evolved into Kalyath, Paharo evolved all the way to Paharac, Swali evolved into Loali, Tentacool evolved into Tentacruel, Chikorita fully evolved into Meganium, Totodile full evolved into Feraligatr which spooked Lana, Quilava evolved into Typhlosion, and Paras evolved into Parasect.

"Ok everyone, break time," Lincoln said."

Everyone gathers and takes a break. Lincoln and Lulu looked at Lana.

"Hey Lans, I saw you freak out when you saw Totodile evolved twice," Lulu said."

"Really?" Lincoln asked."

"Yeah," Lulu replied."

"Well, they were the Pokémon from my nightmare 3 months ago. so, seeing Totodile evolved into them it freaked me out," Lana said." But i won't let it stop me from bonding with it."

(Pats her head) "Its ok Lana, just take it slow," Lincoln said." And you won't be scared anymore," Lincoln said."

"Thanks Link," Lana said."

"Even though you didn't freak out after seeing Marina's Crocana," Lulu said."

"I was hiding it," Lana said."

"Ah," Lulu said."

Suddenly, Clyde's egg starts glowing.

"Uh guys, my egg's hatching," Clyde said."

Everyone gathers and sees the egg hatch into a phanpy.

"Aw so cute," Adelaide said."

"Congratulations Clyde, you're a papa now," Luan said."

"And we're grandfathers," Howard cried happily."

"I wonder how Chloe will feel about this," Harold said."

"For now, let's eat and rest," Rosa said."

Everyone eats dinner and go to bed. the next day everyone rides their bikes to the league stadium. They soon see a van behind a runner as they hear people cheer.

"Hey, what's going on?" Luna asked."

"It's the running of the flame," Luke replied." And that's the torchbearer, those who are competitors can run with the torch to the stadium."

"Cool, maybe I'll try it," Lincoln said surprising everyone."

"What?!" Lynn sr. said."

Lincoln walks up to the bearer.

"I like to try sir," Lincoln said."

A jenny appeared.

"Are you a competitor?" she asked."

"Yes I am," Lincoln said showing his badges."

An old man comes out of the van.

"I see, you're Lincoln loud, the Kanto champion (sees Ronnie Anne) And you're Ronnie Anne Santiago, the Runner up. I am Charles goodshow," Charles said." And you qualify."

The torchbearer passes the flame to Lincoln.

"Ok, let's go buddy," Lincoln said."

"Yeah," Pikachu said."

They start running as the van follows and the crowd cheers. the family and friends join in the van cheering for Lincoln. Later, Lincoln passes the torch to Ronnie Anne, and she starts running with Eevee. Soon Bobby joins in and runs with Floragato, same with Clyde and Sobble, Sid with Chimchar, Luke and Zeraora, Brandon and Gorochu, Lulu and Snevolt, and Lauren with Tendursa as Frida takes pictures.

"These are my best pictures," She said."

Later, they made it to the stadium and Lincoln lights the big flame exciting the crowd. He and the others meet up with some old friends.

"Hey Gold," Lincoln said."

"Yo, nice work on the flame," Gold said."

Marina and Lyra showed up.

"Hey guys," Lyra said."

"Are you two entering too?" Ronnie Anne asked."

"Nah, we're here to support our friends," Lyra said."

"Friends?" Sid asked."

"Hey," a voice said."

Everyone sees a boy in a green shirt comes up to them.

"Hey Vincent," Gold said only to get ignored and go to Marina."

"Hey Marina, are you here to cheer me on?" Vincent asked."

"Yup along with all our friends," Marina replied."

Vincent turned around and saw Lincoln and the others.

"A friend of yours?" Ronnie Anne asked."

"Yeah, that's Vincent. he's been crushing on my sister for years," Lyra replied." He even called her his girlfriend."

"Does she know that?" Sid asked."

"Nope," Lyra replied."

"Oh hi, I'm Vincent, nice to meet you," Vincent said."

"You too," Lincoln said."

"Hey," Casey said."

They see Casey run up to them.

"Hey Casey," Clyde said." we're glad you made it."

"Thanks, and I know we'll face each other so I'm giving us all an encouraging song," Casey said."

She begins singing as Silver walks by and sees them.

'So, you made it, now let's see your truth strength that you used against my father,' Silver thought as he walks off.'
