Chapter 178: The Black Panther Part 2: The Oursiders Challenge

It was night time in Korea and in the car that was sent to Busan, Spyro was with T'Challa in the car with Okoye and Nakia, driving through the street where there were a lot of vendors selling their wares to people who wrre out at night, trying to make a good night's earning to make it to the next day. The car stopped in a section of the alley they went through and Nakia and Okoye got out of the front of the car, Nakia wearing a green and black dress while Okoye was wearing a red dress with golden arm braces on and her golden necklaces, wearing a wig to try and disguise herself, but looking very uncomfortable as they walked away from the car. Both Spyro and T'Challa were wearing black suits, whicch T'Challa provided for Spyro, but Spyro insisted on wearing something purple, wearing a purpe dress shirt underneath the jacket as they walked with the women, Spyro looking to Okoye and seeing her mess with the wig and struggling to walk in heels.

"Yeah, you're definitely not a dress and heels kind of girl." Spyro said.

"I pray to Bast that this mission is over with swiftly." Okoye said. "That way I can get this ridiculous thing off my head."

"Aw, I think it looks nice." Nakia said, smiling. "Just wipe it back and forth like."

"What?" Okoye said, looking unamused. "Such a disgrace."

"Hey, lighten up." Spyro said, seeing them come to a vendor. "We're here."

They approached a vendor woman who was selling some fish to a couple when she spotted them approaching, tensing up a bit as they approached.

"Sophia." Nakia said, speaking in Korean. "Good to see you again."

The vendor lady looked at Nakia before looking to her companions, immediately suspicious of them.

" Who are these three?" Sophia asked in Korean.

"My friends from Kenya." Nakia replied. "Very deep pockets. They're good."

"Good for trouble, like you." Sophia said.

Everyone was a bit nervous, looking between Nakia and Sophia, but the vendor smiled, both she and Nakia laughing as she indicated for them to walk in, one of the other guys working the booth moved a plastic tarp aside and allowed them to enter, a metal detector there to see if they have any weapons, so Spyro used the force to move the two Lightsabers off his belt and the necklace that held his Beskar Armor off his neck and down his leg, passing through the detector without setting it off as they entered into a casino, where everyone was in the middle of gambling at different tables or trying to hit on the cocktail waitresses, getting smacked while the others just laughed at him.

"Spread out." T'Challa said. "The buyer may already be here."

"If he isn't and Klaue shows up, let me approach him." Spyro said, reattaching his sabers and necklace. "He'll trust me."

"Why's that?" Okoye asked.

"I'm American." Spyro replied, looking at her. "He'll believe I'm the buyer."

"Good plan." T'Challa said. "Let's go."

They all started to go in different directions, Okoye staying uptop incase the buyer or Klaue decided to make a run for it while T'Challa and Nakia walked down the stairs, Spyro remaining close behind to keep them safe as they looked around.

"So Nakia, that woman outside, what kind of trouble was she referring to?" Spyro asked.

"Well, I got into a disagreement with some ivory traders." Nakia replied. "I kinda of made a mess."

"Oh, and will there be any kind of trouble tonight?" T'Challa said, smiling at her.

"Depends on how quickly we finish the mission." Nakia replied.

They then started to split up, Nakia heading to the bar to get something to drink while Spyro and T'Challa went to one of the tables and got some chips to blend in, looking around and seeing a few people who looked like they were from America near a table.

"Heads up." Spyro said. "I see three Americans near the blackjack table."

"A couple more are near the dice tables." Okoye said. "If that hair was any slicker, he look like a greaser."

"Make that six." T'Challa said, seeing a guy he recognized. "Spotted an old friend from the CIA at the Craps table."

"Well that complicates things." Spyro said. "Better go have a chat with him before things get messy."

T'Challa and Spyro went over to the Crabs table where the agent was at, pretending not to notice them as they got next to him and looked at the table.

"Agent Ross." T'Challa said.

"You're highness." Ross said, looking at Spyro. "Who's your friend?"

"I am Spyro VanVickle." Spyro replied.

"Ah, the man who fought along side the Avengers to save New York and stop Ultron." Ross said, T'Challa looking at him with a quizzical look.

"Are you buying from Klaue?" T'Challa said, putting down a bet.

"What I do and don't do on behalf of the US Government is none of your concern." Ross said, putting down a bet. "Now what ever you two are up to, stay out of my way, ok?"

"Not gonna happen pal." Spyro said, putting down his bet. "Klaue is ours."

"Besides, I gave you Zimo." T'Challa said.

"And didn't I keep under wraps that the king of a third-world country runs around in a bullet proof cat suit?" Ross asked. "I'd say we were even. Now if you don't mind, you both need to leave, now."

"Klaue is leaving with us." T'Challa said, Ross looking at him. "You've been warned."

Both Spyro and T'Challa left the table and headed elsewhere, which the Agent looked back and held his wrist up to his mouth to say something, which Spyro heard and grinned.

"He's telling his men not to let us leave with Klaue." Spyro said.

"Of course he is." T'Challa said. "But does he really think he can stop the King of Wakanda?"

"Or the Prince of Light and Darkness?" Spyro asked.

"Alright, look." Ross said, walking over. "The Vibranium used in the attack on Sakovia links back to a guy that I'm saying I'm not here to make a deal with and that deal won't be called off. So, when the dust settles, you and I can work something out."

"I'm not here to make a deal." T'Challa said, putting down a bet. "I'm here for Klaue."

"Speaking of which..." Spyro said, sensing his presence. "He's here."

"How can you tell?" Ross asked.

"I can sense him." Spyro replied.

As he said it, Nakia looked up to the entrance and spotted him, putting her drink down as he walked to the stairs.

"Klaue." Nakia said. "He's here."

"General?" T'Challa said.

"In position to secure our exit." Okoye said.

"Spyro?" T'Challa said.

"Ready to do what I must." Spyro said.

"And the Vibranium?" T'Challa asked.

"I don't see it." Nakia said.

"Must have it somewhere safe." Spyro said, looking up and seeing the weapons. "They're armed."

"I thought there were no weapons allowed in here?" Okoye asked playfully.

"There weren't supposed to be." Nakia said.

"Guess someone did not get the memo." Okoye said.

"That just means this will be all the more fun if it goes sideways." Spyro said smiling.

Klaue then went over to Ross, chatting it up as Spyro reached to his side, grabbing one of his sabers and getting ready for a fight when more people came into the room, everyone at an exit and all heavily armed and ready for a fight.

"Six more." Nakia said. "It's a set up."

"Stand down." T'Challa said. "We can't afford a shoot out. Spyro, what's happening?"

"Deal going down." Spyro said, listening as Klaue unzipped his pants and pulled out the Vibranium, putting it on the table. "Klaue has the Vibranium."

"We need to move on Klaue now." Okoye said.

"Hold positions." Spyro said. "Wait for them to make the next move."

"It's now or never." Nakia said.

That was when Okoye said something in Wakandan, which Spyro didn't understand, but one of the guards noticed her and got suspicious, Spyro sensing that she was caught as he gripped his saber.

"Okoye's been made." Spyro said.

As if to prove what he said was true, Okoye activated her spear and started the fight, tossing a man down from the top and onto a table, which Klaue took out his gun and started firing, Ross using the suitcase as a shield as he fired while T'Challa and Ross hid behind a table, Spyro staying up as Klaue fired another bullet at him, but he just dodged the bullet and flipped backwards onto a mans shoulders, sitting on him as he smacked the palms of his hands on his ears before flipping again and slamming his head into the floor before fighting another man, T'Challa attacking the two near him while Nakia fought two more, putting one in a head lock before using her high heel to smack another, knocking him out instantly before breaking anothers wrist and taking his gun, firing at the men in the rafters. okoye however was doing fine, using her spear to knock a few men down as one grabbed the spear, instantly regretting it as she used the shock function on the spear to zap him before using the spear to smack him a couple of times before hitting him between the legs and kicking him off the rafter, jumping down and hitting another. On the floor, T'Challa and Spyro were fighting in unison, flipping and rolling over one another as they exchanged opponents, proving to be an unstoppable pair as they saw Klaue flee, T'Challa leaping from a table while Spyro Force Jumped up, running over as Klaue fired the gun, but it was empty, raising his hands as he smiled.

"Murderer!" T'Challa shouted, ready to kill.

"T'Challa." Klaue said, his arm splitting open as a cannon popped out. "You look so much like your father."

He then pointed the cannon at T'Challa, which he got a money cart and blocked the attack, but was flung all the way to the bar as money rained down on the ground below, those still there scrambling to get what they could as Klaue laughed. "I made it rain!"

"Ok, I'll give you that one, you did make it rain." Spyro said.

Klaue then pointed the cannon at Spyro, firing it, but Spyro held up his hand and witht he Force, froze the blast, shocking Klaue as he turned it to the stairway and let it go, the blast hitting three of his men and sending them flying down the stairs as Nakia saw them come down, looking up and seeing a shocked Klaue and a grinning Spyro.

"Oh, if we weren't on opposite sides, I'd hire you instantly." Klaue said.

"Yeah, and I'd say no." Spyro said.

Several more of Klaue's men came and opened fire on him, which Spyro just bent backwards Matrix style and dodged the bullets, which they hit three more guys who were coming and took them down instantly, righting himself and Force Pushing them into the wall, knocking them out instantly as nakia came running up.

"Klaue's getting away!" Nakia said, she and Okoye running out as Spyro ran after them.

"What about T'Challa!?" Spyro asked.

"Don't worry, he'll catch up." Okoye said.

She then tossed a remote control bead onto a car as the others got into the vehicle they came in and drove after Klau, which they followed the convoy to catch Klaue while T'Challa got his panther suit on and the car that okoye tossed the bead onto came to life, driving itself when really it was Shuri controlling it from her lab, making Spyro smile.

"Shuri, you and I really need to exchange designs and tech one day." Spyro said. "You are a freaking genius!"

"What can I say?" Shuri asked, obviously grinning. "It's a gift."

"Oh, do I sense a possible marriage in the future here?" T'Challa asked, making his sister groan.

"Not the time brother." Shuri said. "Plus, even though he's cute, not my type."

They pursued the cars as T'Challa caught up, following them until they decided to split, two cars going right while two went left, trying to loose them.

"They're splitting up." Okoye said.

"We'll take the right." Nakia said.

"We got the left." Shuri said.

They then split up to go after the two cars, Spyro pressing the gem on his necklace to get his armor on as he planned on going out there, but the back windshiled bust open and they started to open fire, Nakia and Okoye not even flinching as the bullets bounced off the car with no damage to the vehincle at all, Spyro looked at it before looking to them.

"Wait, is this think made out of Vibranium!?" Spyro asked.

"It is." Nakia said with a smile.

"Guns." Okoye said. "So primitive."

"Yeah, give me a lightsaber over a gun anyday."

"What's a lightsaber?" Shuri asked, making Spyro fall over comically in the backseat while Okoye looked back to check on him.

"Ok, besides the fact that Shuri doesn;t watch Star Wars, this car has made my day!" Spyro said. "T'Challa, we really need to discuss the trade when we get back to Wakanda. We can do beautiful things with our two metals."

"As I said, I'll think about it." T'Challa said.

"Don't think too long brother." Shuri said. "We can benefit greatly from his Beskar."

Nakia continued to drive the car as the men kept on shooting the vehicle, thinking it will miraculously take damage as Okoye lifted herself up, getting her spear out as both Spyro and Nakia looked at her.

"What are you doing?" Nakia asked.

"Just drive." Okoye said.

Okoye then got out through the window of the car, extending one of the spears she had and stabbed the roof of the car, both Spyro and Nakia shocked that she did that as they looked up.

"Seriously!?" Spyro shouted. "You just had to ruin the freaking car!?"

Okoye just ignored him as the guys kept on firing their guns at the car, not even aiming for Okoye, who was out in the open as she extended her other spear, throwing it with pinpoint accuracy as it his the ground and the car crashed into it, completely disabled as they drove by and okoye got her spear back, Spyro and Nakia cheering as she did that.

"Ok, that just made up for it." Spyro said.

"We took out both of the cars we're pursuing." T'Challa said. "But Klaue isn;t in either of them."

"Then he's in the last one we're chasing now." Spyro said. As he said it, Klaue came out and used his arm cannon, firing it and hitting the vehilce, which it exploded into many different pieces as Okoye used her spear to glide on the hood of the car, Nakia somehow staying in the driver seat while Spyro turned into water, seperating into multiple streams as he flew everywhere before materializing next to Okoye, clearing angry. "Ok, Klaue is offically on my of people I really, really hate!"

A moment later, Agent Ross came be riding his own vehicle, having caught up with them as he stopped.

"Get in." Ross said, Nakia and Okoye walking to him. "Uh, you can put that spear in the back."

"Catch up with us when you can." Spyro said.

Without warning, he suddenly dashed off, going after Klaue on the ground and showing how fast he was, spooking all three of them as they looked, looking at one another as they tried to figure out how fast he really was. Meanwhile, T'Challa and Shuri had managed to catch up with the vehicle Klaue was in, which Shuri tried to get T'Challa as close as possible, but Klaue had his cannon out and fired, destroying the vehicle in one blast as T'Challa leapt over and got on the vehicle, attempting to slash the wheels off, but Spyro came in and bashed through the car, splitting it in two as the two ends flew in opposite directions, T'Challa looking at Spyro as he held Klaue by the collar of his shirt and got up.

"How did you do that?" T'Challa asked.

"You know those bracers I wear?" Spyro asked. "They increase the gravity around my body, making the gravity heavier than it usually is, inscreasing my strength a hundred fold and increasing my speed."

"Oh, you're a strong one huh?" Klaue asked, getting a knife and cutting the collar off to free himself as he looked at Spyro and T'Challa. "Well, let's see you resist this!" He pointed his cannon at T'Challa and fired, which disrupted his Vibranium but the armor reformed itself, confusing Klaue before he fired at Spyro, which the weapon had no effect on his armor, shcoking him. "That's impossible. No metal can resist that."

T'Challa then rushed forward and took Klaue's arm off, smacking his head against the car and dazing him.

"Where did you get this weapon murderer!?" T'Challa shouted.

"Heh, you savages didn't deserve it." Klaue said. T'Challa didn't take that kindly and grabbed Klaue, throwing him into the car before pinning him, getting his claws out to finish him. "Mercy king. Mercy."

"Every breath you take now is a mercy." T'Challa said.

"T'Challa enough." Spyro said, grabbing his arm. "I know you're angry and want revenge, but killing him in cold blood is not justice."

"My king!" Okoye said, running up. "The world is watching."

T'Challa looked around and saw some people watching them, some with their phones out recording as he looked to Ross.

"Come on, get in." Ross said. "We need to get going."

T'Challa knew that they were right, looking to Klaue as he laughed at him, having been saved by everyone around them as they took Klaue to the car and threw him into the trunk, everyone else hopping into the vehicle as they drove off with the agent to a location where they wouldn't be disturbed. In the morning, they had gotten to a secret facility that the CIA had in Busan, hidden in plain sight so they could interrogate Klaue, Nakia keeping an eye out the window to make sure nothing or no one caught them off guard while T'Challa, Okoye, and Spyro were with Ross, having Klaue in an interrogation room, having confiscated his weapon and allowed Spyro to examine the weapon while T'Challa and Okoye discussed with Ross how to approach Klaue.

"He's quite a mess." Ross said. "I figured we go good cop, bad cop. I go in and talk to him first and-"

Okoye then said something in Wakandan, Spyro looking over at her before returning his attention to the arm as he continued to examine it as T'Challa started speaking in Wakandan as well, Spyro groaning as he looked over to them, clearly frustrated.

"Right, new deal." Spyro said. "Same exchange, but I get a dictionary on the Wakandan language as an added bonus so I understand what you guys are saying."

"Relax my friend." T'Challa said. "Once you're done with your questioning Agent Ross, we will take him back to Wakanda."

"What, no." Ross said, getting between them. "Look, I like you guys, but Klaue is in my custody now and-"

"And he stole Vibranium." Spyro said, interrupting him. "I believe they also have custody over him as well."

"Look, I'm doing you guys a favor by being here." Ross said. "And for you to examine that thing."

"Yeah, don't expect me to share my findings with you pal." Spyro said. "I know how governments work and if there's one thing I know about them, they see a big gun, they want to use it."

"Real funny." Ross said. "I'll go in first. You two can have a crack at him later."

"Agent Ross." T'Challa said, putting a hand on him. "I appreciate what you're doing for us."

"See, it's call diplomacy." Ross said, walking in.

He walked into the room to talk to Klaue while T'Challa and Okoye looked through the window to watch, Spyro examining the arm as he found it to be advanced.

"It looks like it's a culmination of Vibranium and some kind of tool." Spyro said, picking it up. "The device seems to work on a frequency that disrupts Vibranium and weakens it. Wonder how Klaue got this thing?"

"He stole it like everything else that deals in Vibranium." Okoye said, looking annoyed. "I'll relish the opportunity to slay him for what he did to our people."

"I bet you would." Spyro said, walking over. "Let me guess, you bugged him, didn't you?"

"Of course we did." T'Challa said, looking at Spyro. "Just because we're working together, doesn't mean we fully trust him."

"You know, you really shouldn't trust the Wakandans." Klaue said, the device transmitting what was being said. "I'm much more your speed."

"I'm not trusting them." Ross replied. "Or you, or their friend in there examining your arms, which, you're going to tell me everything about it because that guy won't share jack squat about it. Where'd you get it?"

"It's an old mining tool that I made some adjustments to." Klaue said, smiling. "If you want, I can get you one."

"Why don't you give me the name of your supplier and I can ask them." Ross said.

"Oh, they're right outside." Klaue replied. "Why don't you ask them yourself."

"What, T'Challa?" Ross asked, not believing him. "You're telling me that weapon on your arm is from Wakanda?"

"Bingo." Klaue replied. "So, what exactly do you know about Wakanda?"

"Um, Shepards, textiles, cool outfits." Ross replied.

"It's all a front." Klaue replied. "Explorers searched for it for centuries. It's basically El Dorado, but instead of in South America, it's in Wakanda. A technological marvel all because it was built on the mound of the most precious metal known to man. They called it the gift, Vibranium."

"Vibranium." Ross said. "The hardest metal in the world."

"Not just that." Klaue said. "They sow it into their clothes, it powers their cities, their tech, their weapons."

That got Rosses attention, raising an eyebrow as he looked at Klaue with suspcion.

"Weapons?" Ross asked.

"Yeah, makes my arm look like a leaf blower." Klaue said.

"Yeah, nice fairytale and all, but Wakanda is a third world country and you stole all their Vibranium." Ross said.

That was when Klaue started to laugh, finding that accusation amusing as Ross just sat there, not understanding what was so funny.

"I stole all of it?" Klaue asked. "I took a tiny piece of it! They have a mountain full of it, mining it for thousands of years. And they still haven't scratched the surface. I'm the only outsider besides that boy in there whose seen it and got out of their alive. You don't believe me, you ask your friends in there what their suits are made of, what their weapons are made of."

Ross looked at the mirror, as if looking at them as he thought it over before taking his glass of coffee and got up.

"He's playing him." Spyro said.

"Of course he is." T'Challa said. "That's Klaue specialty."

"Next to stealing our Vibranium and killing many innocent Wakandans." Okoye said.

"How about you let me interrgate him next." Spyro said. "I'll get him to talk."

A moment later, Ross came out of the interrogation room, walking to T'Challa while Ignoring the others.

"We need to talk." Ross said.

"While you guys are talking, I'm going to have a chat with Klaue." Spyro said.

"No, no one is going in there until I get some answers." Ross said, looking to T'Challa. "Your father said that he stole all of your nations Vibranium, but now I here you have more?"

"And you believe the words of an arms dealer?" T'Challa asked.

Spyro then felt a great disturbance in the Force, looking to the interrogation room as he felt that something was about to happen and he didn't like it.

"How much more are you hiding?" Ross asked.

At that moment, Nakia came into the room, everyone on high alert as she burst in.

"Something's happening in the back." Nakia said.

As she said it, the wall to the interrogation room blew open and a man in an African mask came in, started to fire everywhere as everyone sought cover, Ross grabbing T'Challa and getting him to cover while the man shot, time slowing down for Spyro as he used his finger to deflect the bullets into random directions, making sure they didn't hit anybody as he pressed the gem on his necklace, activating his armor as time resumed. He walked to the window and the man in the mask toom out a grenade and threw it, but Spyro grabbed it and it exploded in his hand, not doing anything to him as T'Challa came out in his suit, both running to him as he got into the van, but he used the grenade launcher on his rifle to blow T'Challa away while Spyro came after him, the man continuing to fire, but his bullets had no effect on him as he checked on T'Challa, allowing them to flee as he helped him up.

"You ok pal?" Spyro asked, helping him up.

"Yeah, I'm fine." T'Challa replied.

"My king!" Okoye shouted, running to them. "It's Nakia."

Both of them ran back to the building, going through the interrogation room and seeing Nakia was unharmed, but Ross took a hit, a bullet in his spine as Spyro looked at it.

"He jumped in front fo me." Nakia said.

"I can heal him." Spyro said. He placed his hand on the wound, closing his eyes to do what he could, but his healing powers had no effect, looking at him in shock as he removed his hand. "My powers aren't working. Something's in his blood that's preventing me from healing him."

"Nakia, give me a Kimoyo bead." T'Challa said. Nakia then took a bead off her bracelet and gave it to T'Challa, who placed it in the wound as it glowed and Ross's breathing got better, falling unconcious. "That will stabilize him for now. We need to take him back to Wakanda."

"T'Challa, you serious?" Spyro asked. "He'll see everything."

"He saved my life." T'Challa said, looking at Spyro. "Now I'm going to save his."

Spyro didn't like where this was going, helping to pick him up and carry the unconcious agent to the transport ship, where he gently set him on the sand table while everyone looked at him.

"Our mission was to bring back Klaue." Okoye said. "And we failed."

"Don't worry, we'll get another crack at him." Spyro said. "My main worry is Ross."

"He took a bullet for me." Nakia said.

"That was his choice." Okoye said.

"And we're supposed to let him die?" Nakia asked.

"He's a foreign intelligence agent." Okoye said. "It's his duty to report everything he sees. And our king's duty is to-"

"I know my duty Okoye." T'Challa said, looking to Spyro. "I took a risk allowing Spyro and his friends into Wakanda, I'm doing the same for him. I can;t let him die, knowing that we are able to save him."

"And where exactly are we taking him?" Okoye asked.

As if answering her question, the transport landed on the landing pad of Shuri's lab, which they got a blanket and threw it over him, hiding him from everyone as they rushed to Shuri's lab, which she met them there and had a look underneath, smiling as she looked to her brother.

"Great, another white boy for us to fix." Shuri said.

"Ok, that's stretching it, even for me." Spyro replied.

They got him into a chamber, where Shuri got to work examining him to see the damage done to his spine, which a holographic display of his spine appeared and showed the damaged portion of his spine, looking to her brother.

"He will live." Shuri said. A moment later, she looked at her wrist and looked spooked, looking to her brother in horror. "It's Wakabi. He's here."

T'Challa looked concerned, looking to his sister before looking to Spyro and Okoye, taking in a deep breath as he knew this wouldn't end well.

"I'll deal with Wakabi." T'Challa said. "You focus on fixing Agent Ross."

He then started to walk out, leaving Shuri and Spyro with Nakia and Okoye as they examined Ross, making sure his recovery went smoothly when Shuri noticed something, zooming in as she didn't recognize it.

"What's this?" Shuri asked. "Some kind of crystal."

Spyro walked over to see what it was she was talking about, seeing the black crystals in his blood stream and recognized them.

"Shoot." Spyro said. "Dark Aether Crystals. That first clip of bullets was meant for me."

"What are they?" Okoye asked.

"Crystals that negate my powers." Spyro replied. "Much like Sphinx hair. And there's only one being that I know who uses Dark Aether Crystals."

Elsewhere in Korea, the van that Klaue's team used to get away in had just pulled up into a junkyard for airplanes, one plane still in tact as the van stopped and everyone got outk walking to the plane to get away.

"You always talk to the CIA?" The boy said, carring the bags.

"I sell to the highest bidder." Klaue replied, smiling. "But don't worry, when i get back to Joburg, I'll lay low for a while. I'll make sure you guys get your money."

"Oh, I ain't worried about the money." The boy said, smiling. "I know you're good for it. Just drop us off at Wakanda."

"Oh, you don't want to go there boy." Klaue said, putting his stuff in.

"Yes I do." The boy said.

He took out his gun and shot down Klaue's man, which Klaue took the guys lady hostage and held a gun to her head, using her as a meat shield as he looked at him.

"Put your gun down boy." Klaue said. "Or your little Bonney and Clyde routine ends today." It was a stand off between the two men, Klaue holding her close to avoid being shot. "Put your gun down now!"

"I'm sorry Erik." The woman said, Erik smiling.

"Don't worry honey, it's going to be ok." EriK replied.

However, instead of doing what he was asked, he shot his own girlfriend, knocking Klaue down as she dropped dead, the arms dealer getting up and running as fast as his legs would carry him as Erik shot at him, Klaue running as fast as he could and ducking behind a ruined plane, looking out to see his pursuer come out and he fired, missing the first time before hitting him in the chest, but the bullet had no effect as he fired back, hitting Klaue in the chest as he approached, kicking the gun away as he stood over a dying Klaue.

"You... really want to go to Wakanda?" Klaue asked, fighting to stay alive. "They're savages!" He then showed the mark on his neck, showing his brand. "This is what they do to people like us."

"I ain't worried about no brand." Erik replied, showing his arm as it was either burned or scared. "Each of these represents a kill."

"You can scar yourself as much as you like." Klaue said. "To them, you're just an outsider. You're crazy to think you can walk in there." However, Erik then grabbed his lip and pulled it down, revealing glowing letters on the inside of his lip, indicating he was Wakandan the entire time. "Ah, and here I thought you some crazy American."

He then started to laugh, but Eric just pointed his gun at him and he pulled the trigger, killing him in an instant as he backed away, taking a deep breath as a black crystal appeared and he turned to it, seeing a dragon's face in it as he smiled.

"No hesitation." Malefor said. "You'll do very well in my plan."

"You're bullets had no effect on him." Erik said. "They couldn't penetrate your so-called Prince's armor."

"Because you wasted them in that spray of yours." Malefor said. "Those bullets were meant for him and him alone."

"So what now?" Erik asked.

"Keep to the plan." Malefor said. "Once Wakanda is yours, send to me what you promised and I'll help you to conquer your world."

Back in Wakanda, Spyro and Shrui had finished fixing Ross up while T'Challa talked with Wakabi, Spyro sensing how disappointed he was in his king for failing to capture Klaue while Shuri was working on something for her brother. A moment later, Ross sat up, feeling better as he got up and tried to feel for the bullet hole, which it wasn't there when he got curious about where he was, walking out and seeing Spyro with Shuri and he approached them.

"Alright, where am I?" Ross said, scaring them both.

"Dude, seriously!?" Spyro asked.

"Don't scare us like that Colonizer." Shuri said.

"Colonizer?" Ross asked. "No, my name is Everett."

"I know." Shuri said. "Everet Ross, former Air Force Pilot and now CIA."

"How...?" Ross asked, looking arpund and seeing the room they were in and looking to them. "Is this Wakanda?"

"No, it's Kansas." Spyro said sarcastically, looking to him. "Where do you think we are pal?"

"Ok then." Ross said, sensing some hostility. "How long ago was Korea?"

"Yesterday." Shuri replied.

"No, that's not possible." Ross said. "Bullet wounds don't magically heal overnight."

"Not unless you have magic that heals wounds instantly." Spyro said, helping Shuri with her invention. "Or by technology."

"And don't touch anything." Shuri said. "My brother will be here soon."

Ross looked out the window and was immediately drawn to it, looking out and seeing the rails outside, moving Vibranium to and from certain locations within the mine and looking at Shuri and Spyro.

"Those trains... they move through magnets, right?" Ross asked.

"Of course they do." Shuri replied.

"How else can they transport vibranium safely?" Spyro asked.

"What?" Ross asked, looking out. "You mean the light pannels?"

"Yes." Shuri said, walking over. "My own design. At that speed, Vibranium in it's true form is too dangerous to transport. but with the Sonic Stabilizers, it temporarily disables it, making it save to transport."

"Wait, there's Vibranium on those trains?" Ross asked.

"There's Vibranium all around us." Shuri replied. "That's how I healed you."

Ross was in disbellief, looking around as he wondered what else was possible for the Wakandan's as Spyro's friends walked in, Ross looking over to the and almost having a heart attack when he saw them.

"Spyro, you won't believe all of the amazing things Octavia and I managed to get while you were away." Rarity said, Ross falling down and getting their attention. "And who is this?"

"Agent Ross." Spyro said. "CIA."

"Did... did that thing just talk?" Ross asked.

"Well of course we did." Twilight said, walking up. "Have you never seen a talking pony before?"

"It's just... I... I..." Ross said, trying to get up as he tried to process what he was seeing. "I need a vacation."

A moment later, Shuri's Kimoyo beads went off and she picked up, Okoye appearing from the sand as she looked concerned.

"Shuri, where is your brother?" Okoye asked. "His Kimoyo beads have been turned off."

"Knowing him, he's probably trying to rekindle the flames with his ex." Spyro said, smiling. "Their hearts were made for one another. Anyway, what's up?"

"A man came to Wakanda's border, claiming he killed Klaue." Okoye said, an image of him popping up.

"Is he an outsider?" Shuri asked.

"No, he's Wakandan." Okoye replied.

"No, he's one of ours." Ross said, looking at him. "His name is EriK Stevens."

"But his blood shows he's Wakandan." Shuri said. "I need to find my brother."

"Already on it." Spyro said. He took out his Sling ring and began spinning his hand, purple sparks appearing in the air as a portal opened, revealing T'Challa and Nakia were together, looking behind and see the portal and him. "Hate to brak up the love fest here, but we got a problem."

"What's wrong?" T'Challa asked, he and Nakia getting up and walking through the portal. "And how did you do that?"

"Later." Spyro said, showing them the image. "Right now, we got a major problem."

"EriK Stevens." Ross said. "Graduate from Annapolis at age nineteen, MIT for grad school. Joined the seals, went straight to Afghanistan where he racked up kills like it was a video game. We started calling him Killmonger before he joined the JSOC ghost unti. These guys are serious as they drop off the grid to commit assassinations and take down governments."

"Did he reveal anything about his identity?" T'Challa asked.

"He has a War Dog tattoo, but other than that, we have no record of him." Shuri replied.

T'Challa looked at the image of the man in question, havign a bad feeling about him before turning to the others.

"I will talk to him myself." T'Challa said, turning to Spyro. "I would like for you to join me in the throne room while I interrogate him. Your powers, I saw only a small sample, but I'd like to have you with me incase he tried anything."

"Of course my friend." Spyro said, turning to the girls. "Come girls. We better be ready for this guy."

Everyone left Shuri's lab, taking the transport to the building where the throne room was in, Spyro and T'Challa walking side by side while the ponies and the demon remained behind them as they walked, the Dora Milaje on either side of them as they walked.

"What do you make of this man?" T'Challa asked.

"I could sense great anger in him." Spyro replied. "I think that if he killed Klaue, he was the one who broke him out and then killed him. We must be cautious."

They arrived at the throne room and the doors opened, revealing that the elders of the four tribes were there, all looking to them as they entered.

"My king." The elder of the river tribe said. "Is it true? Is the outsider who is coming now a Wakandan?"

"I do not know." T'Challa asked.

"Why bring the oursiders here?" The elder of the Border tribe asked, clearly not liking them.

"They are friends." T'Challa replied. "They helped us in capturing Klaue the first time."

"What is it they want?" The elder of the mining tribe asked.

"He wishes to make a trade deal." T'Challa said. "He will grant us his Beskar metal in exchange for some Vibranium."

"And what will he use it for?" The river elder asked.

"For armor." Spyro replied, everyone looking to him. "My Beskar is used for my armor and my friends armor, but my enemy now has access to the same metal and makes weapons out of them. I come here, asking for vibranium to help protect my friends and those around me, for they too wear it and now that my enemy has it, I need something that can protect us, no matter what."

"And that's why you ask for Vibranium?" The border elder asked, still not trusting him. "How do we know you won't use it to make weapons and attack us?"

T'Challa looked to Spyro, understanding his friend's concern for if their ally could be trusted, which Spyro looked to him and understood his fears as well before looking back.

"I trust him to do the right thing Wakabi." T'Challa said. "He has not done anything to make me feel concerned for our safety. And I see no reason to not trust him now." T'Challa walked to his throne, Spyro walkig with him as he stood next to the throne while T'Challa sat down, the doors to the throne room opening to allow Wakabi to bring in Erik, his hands bound as he brought him to the center of the room for everyone to see and hear him. "Speak."

"I stand here in your house, serving justice to a man who stole your Vibranium and killed your people." Erik said. "Justice your king couldn't bring."

T'Challa took offense to that, getting up and walking to Erik as the Dora Milaje and Spyro walked to him, ready to fight if need be.

"I don't care that you brought Klaue to me." T'Challa said. "The only reason I don't kill you now is because I know who you are. Now what do you want?"

"What do I want?" Erik asked, smiling. "I want the throne." The elders all laughed, finding it amusing that he would ask such a thing. "You all look comfortable up here. While two billion or so people who look like us have harder lives than you and you have the tools to help them."

"And what tools are those?" T'Challa asked.

"Weapons." Spyro answered, sensing Erik's intentions. "He wants the throne so he can distribute weapons across the globe."

"You're smart." Erik said. "For an outsider."

"Our weapons will not be used to wage war on the world." T'Challa said. "It is not our way to be judge, jury and executioner for people who are not our own."

"That's wrong." Erik said. "Didn't life start on this continent? So ain't all people your people?"

"I am not king of all people." T'Challa said. "I am King of Wakanda. And it's my duty to make sure our people are safe and that the Vibranium does not fall into the hands of people like you."

Erik and T'Challa starred at one another for a moment, silence passing over them as they held their ground as Ranonda stood up.

"Son, we have entertained this charlatan for long enough." Ramonda said. "Reject his request."

"Oh, I'm not requesting anything." Erik said. "You know who I am?"

"You're Erik Stevens." Shuri said. "An american black operative, nicknamed Killmonger."

"Oh, that's not my name." Erik said, smiling. "Ask my name king."

"I have no need to ask." T'Challa said, turning away from him. "Take him away."

The guards walked to him, getting ready to take him away when the river elder stood up to say something.

"Who are you?" The elder asked.

"My true name is N'Jadaka!" Erik said. "Son of Prince N'Jobu!"

"Son of Prince N'Jobu!?" The mining elder asked.

"I found my daddy with panther claws in his chest!" Erik shouted. "You're not the son of a king, you're the son of a murderer!"

"Lies!" Ramonda shotued. "Take him away!"

"I'm afraid he'd not lying queen Ramonda." Wakabi said, holding up the ring that N'Jobu had, shocking everyone.

"I'm exercising my blood right to be king and black panther!" Erik said.

"Do not do this son." Ramonda said.

"He is within his rights." The border elder said.

"He has no rights here!" Ramonda shouted.

"Besides, a challenge will take weeks to prepare." The river elder said.

"Weeks?" Erik asked, smiling as he found it amusing. "I don't need weeks. The whole country don't need to be there. I only need him and someone to get me out of these chains."

T'Challa took the ring in his hand, looking at it before looking to Erik, thinking it over as he closed his hand in a fist, looking at him.

"T'Challa, don't." Spyro said. "He aims to distribute Vibranium and weapons all across the globe. He'll destroy Wakanda."

"Listen to him my son." Ramonda said. "You have nothing to prove."

"I accept your challenge." T'Challa said. Everyone was in shock, Erik smiling as Wakabi freed him while T'Challa stood up and grabbed Spyro's arm, bringing him close to whisper. "If I fall, get my mother and my sister to safety."

"But T'Challa-" Spyro said, trying to talk him out of it.

"Save Wakanda if you can." T'Challa said. "I am counting on you my friend."

T'Challa then walked off to get ready for the challenge, leaving Spyro alone as everyone went to get ready for the challenge, Twilight and the others walking up to Spyro as they felt unsure of what was going on.

"Spyro?" Twilight asked, getting his attention. "Do you think he'll win?"

"Hard to say." Spyro replied. "Erik was trained to be a Navy SEAL and he was part of a Black ops group. Meaning his training is vigorous and intense as those guys are some of the best soldiers in any army."

"But, T'Challa will win, right?" Octavia asked, starting to feel nervous.

"As I said, hard to say." Spyro said, looking at his friend. "But if Killmonger wins, it'll be the end of Wakanda."

"So what's the plan?" Twilight asked.

"For now, we can't interfere." Spyro said. "No Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, or Grublins are involved. Our hands are tied."

"There has to be something we can do." Fluttershy said.

"All we can do is watch." Spyro said, looking to Erik as he left. "And pray that T'Challa wins."

Spyro then started to make his way out, the ponies and the demon feeling uneasy at what went down as they followed Spyro out of the throne room to get ready for the challenge, hoping that their friend was victorious in the fight, for if Erik won, they all knew what it meant for Wakanda, and for the World of Marvels.
