Chapter 3 Traveling

Dr. Schadenfreude, Jaclyn, and Igor traveled across the land in their car, then on a train, and finally to a airport. The trio enjoyed the bit of traveling and took a few moments to enjoy the sights, especially the sun. It had been many years since any of them had seen the sun, so it was a nice and lovely thing for them to see it and they had taken a few moments to enjoy it and let the sun's light and warmth wash over their skin, before they continued on with their quest.
Unbeknownst to them they were being followed by King Malbert's hired henchman Willard Stenk.
Willard Stenk was a tall skinny bald man with a mustache. He wore a white shirt, black vest, blue jacket, red handkerchief around his neck, black gloves, grey long pants, and black cowboy boots. Willard also had three large scars across the top of his head.
Willard Stenk was a professional bounty hunter, tracker, and assassin who sold his skills to whoever was willing to pay him. King Malbert had hired him to track Dr. Schadenfreude and report back to King Malbert about what he was doing. The king had also said he might need to kill Dr. Schadenfreude if the scientist's work proved to be a threat to the Evil Science Fair. Willard said that killing would cost extra and King Malbert said that was fine.
Dr. Schadenfreude, Jaclyn, and Igor reached the airport where they each had to fill out a passport to travel, a process that would normally take a few weeks, but Dr. Schadenfreude had brought plenty of money with him and knew just the way to bribe the right people to speed up the process. There then was the matter of taking a plane to San Fransokyo. Obviously Dr. Schadenfreude, Jaclyn, and Igor couldn't take a normal commercial flight with all their gear, so Dr. Schadenfreude booked a private plane for him and his companions to fly on.
Willard also got onto the plane by disguising himself as a steward and made sure to cover his head scars with makeup.
The plane took off and after several hours it landed San Fransokyo. Dr. Schadenfreude, Jaclyn, and Igor got out of the plane and took in their new surroundings with awe.
"Hello San Fransokyo! Dr. Schadenfreude has arrived and it'll be a visit no one will forget!" Declared Dr. Schadenfreude before he and his companions went to collect their bags.
"No they won't and neither will you." Said Willard as he snuck off to remove his disguise and makeup.
Dr. Schadenfreude called for a private car and he, Jaclyn, and Igor loaded up into and drove to a hotel called the Dragon Emperor, with Willard following behind in a taxi.
The adventure was on.
