"You fought Psycho and Cyclone, Kraken?" Naruto asked.
Kraken grit his teeth slightly.
All eyes were on Kraken.
"It was 11 years ago..." Kraken started, "I got a lead on Psycho and Cyclone camping out on this island. It was perfect, a place we could go all out and fight with no casualties. I had already encountered these two multiple times and knew a lot about them. I was ready to bring them in!" Kraken said.
"But... you didn't." Sakura said softly.
Kraken sighed.
"My power wasn't enough. I trained myself so hard I died three times straining my body. Just to catch up to them... I fought as hard as I could but those two... they could do things that far surpassed any devil fruit or ninjutsu. I couldn't beat them..." Kraken said.
"What happened at the end of the fight Kraken... what did they do to you for you to leave us for 11years!?" Kasai yelled, slightly crying.
Cracken grit his teeth harder.
"They... didn't do anything..." Kraken said.
Everyone watched with shock.
A short memory flashed in Kraken's mind of Psycho and Cyclone battered up staring down at him with demonic eyes. Kraken looked up at the two with fright...
and ran away.
"I ran..." Kraken finally admitted.
Kasai gasped. Luffy couldn't believe it. The shinobi were shocked as well as the straw hats.
Akainu was having a field day.
"I KNEW IT!! YOU RAN AWAY LIKE THE COWARD YOU ARE! ANY MARINE IN YOUR PLACE WOULD HAVE DIED ON THAT ISLAND!" Akainu yelled.
Naruto and Luffy shot up to their feet. Kakashi and Sanji stood up.
"Woah take it easy Naruto!" Kakashi said.
"Luffy! Calm down!" Sanji said.
"He's right.." Kraken said softly.
Naruto and Luffy looked back with surprise as well as everyone else except Mihawk, Law, Akainu, and Smoker.
"I couldn't show my face to the world anymore... the "great navy hero Kraken" ran from the world's worst criminals? It was too much... I was depressed and lost myself..." Kraken said.
"Kraken..
Mihawk and Okua shot surprised glances at Kraken.
Kraken smiled.
"Until I met him." Kraken said.
Everyone was curious now.
"Wh-Who did you meet?" Usopp asked.
"His name was Iwataka Tokisato.." Kraken said.
Okua's eyes shot open.
"B-Bro..?" Okua said to himself, tearing up,"He-He's alive?.."
Mihawk looked over at Okua with a slightly distressed look, trying to keep a straight face. Mihawk sweat slightly as he looked back at Kraken.
"He had also fought Psycho and Cyclone... and won..." Kraken said.
Everyone was shocked.
"How!? How did he beat them!?" Naruto and Luffy yelled.
"..Psycho and Cyclone share one of the same weaknesses." Kraken said, "There's a reason they stay so stoic and calm. Once they get stressed, they start creating openings." Kraken explained.
Luffy thought back to his fight with Psycho at Marineford, a lot of Luffy's major attacks landed from either Psycho being distracted or caught off guard.
"It's a battle of durability, resolve and wills, If you're lacking in one you might as well lack in all three." Kraken said.
Everyone continued to listen.
"First things was first though, I needed to understand who Psycho and Cyclone really were before I focused on gaining the power to defeat them." Kraken said.
Kraken reached into a bag and pulled out a folders and held it up.
"Amaiya was able to grab Psycho's file for me from the Holy Land. I found out Psycho had ties to a man named, "Dubois" a former Elder Star who allegedly murdered two former Elders and is still wanted only dead to this day." Kraken said.
"He's... still alive?" Luffy asked.
Kraken nodded.
"His devil fruit keeps him alive. I knew if I wanted information on the real Psycho, I had to go see him." Kraken said, "But when I made that decision to go after him... things started happening that were out of my control. Things would fall over and break in such a way that a fork got catapulted at my face and almost took my eye out." Kraken said.
Everyone gulped.
"I didn't find out until I met him that it was a part of DuBois's special ability. An ability that protects himself from anyone attempting to find him." Kraken explained.
"What in the hell kind of ability is that..." Usopp asked.
"That's definitely an ability of the devil.." Franky chimed in.
"But Dubois was the only person I could go to for the answers I needed." Kraken said.
"Dubois resides in the Florian Triangle, I was able to avoid death long enough to finally meet him.. Dubois told me veryy important information about Psycho, like his weaknesses. He also told me about a man named "Zayoshi" that had been living in the shinobi world for a few years at that time, and about a mole named "Mifune" from the land of Wano.
The shinobi's eyes shot open at the mention of that name.
"MIFUNE THE SAMURAI!?" Sasuke yelled.
"Zayoshi.. the goat man they captured about 20 or so years ago?" Kakashi asked himself.
Kraken nodded.
"Because the shinboi world had been closed off, it was the perfect place for Psycho and Cyclone to go if their names got too hot over here, and vice versa. They needed people on the inside to tell them what had been going on while they were gone." Kraken explained.
Sasuke looked down, he remembered fighting Mifune before, this entire time he was a mole for DEATH.
"I went into the ninja world undercover after I met with Dubois. Psycho is an "Uchiha" so it wasn't hard to trace that name to the Village Hidden in Leaves." Kraken said.
The shinobi were shocked.
"Wait... are you saying..." Naruto was stopped.
"Yep! I lived in the leaf village incognito while I gathered information on Psycho!" Kraken said.
"What who where were you?" Sakura asked.
Kraken smiled big.
"You remember a guy named "Ebisu?" Kraken asked.
Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi's eyes opened wide. Sasuke didn't react he never met "Ebisu."
"That doesn't make sense! Ebisu sensei taught me ninja related techniques!" Naruto said.
"You might wanna hold your breaths for this one... because I learned something else from Dubois. Something that explains how Psycho and Lucci can use ninjutsu and devil fruit powers." Kraken said.
Everyone listened with anticipation.
"Chakra is within everyone. Everyone is capable of using their chakra to use ninjutsu, some more than others. Devil fruits are an entirely different energy that don't interfere with chakra. I moved to the ninja world to study chakra, because if I ever had to face them again, using their fighting style against them could give me the advantage I needed." Kraken explained.
"Devil fruits affect the life force of a person, chakra in a sense, is a life force. The two go hand in hand." Kraken revealed.
Nobody could believe what they were hearing.
"I was also keeping an very close eye on you while I stayed in the Leaf, Sasuke..." Kraken said.
Everyone looked at Sasuke.
"Why-Why... me?" Sasuke said.
"Because Dubois found out there were four people directly related to Psycho and another family with his blood in it." Kraken said.
Everyone was still in disbelief that Sasuke and Robin were directly related to Psycho, what were the odds?
Kraken was silent for a moment.
"The clan with Psycho's blood running through their veins.. was the Uzumaki.." Kraken said.
Naruto's eyes shot open. Everyone was shocked, even those that usually remain stoic. Psycho's blood ran through Naruto's veins too? How?
"His son, Fuyu, married and conceived a child with an ancestor of the Uzumaki clan. They've kept the bloodline going strong for centuries now.. it's amazing to see." Kraken said.
Everyone was speechless, especially Naruto, as Kraken continued.
"So I had to keep my eye on you both especially during my time there.. also.. because of that night." Kraken said, looking at Sasuke.
The Straw Hats looked around with confusion.
"The Uchiha clan massacre?" Kraken asked.
Sasuke grit his teeth and looked to the side.
Nami covered her mouth and the straw hats were shocked as well as Jimbei and Luffy. Mihawk's mouth was opened slightly with shock.
"Did Psycho do it!?" Luffy yelled, making a fist, Sasuke noticed this.
"Why would anyone do that to the Uchiha!" Jimbei said.
"While I definitely thought it was Psycho attempting to tie up some loose ends, I found out it was Itachi, Sasuke's brother, as a part of a larger scheme by some higher ups in the village..., basically, the shinobi world had their own problems. Uniting these two worlds was going to be a lot harder than I had thought." Kraken explained.
Kakashi spoke up.
"You being in the leaf is how you found out about the plan for King Cobra to ally with the ninja world... as well as stay "dead" to the four blues and Grand Line, nobody would think to look in the shinobi world." Kakashi said.
Kraken smirked.
"This is what I've waited 11 years for... it's time for Psycho's reign of terror to end." Kraken said, standing up.
"Wait!" Naruto said.
Kraken looked at the young shinobi and pirate crew, turning his back.
"Where are you going?" Luffy asked.
"We are going to the Florian Triangle. We've got someone to meet." Kraken said.
"Why are you talking like that!?" Luffy asked.
Kraken rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"If I say who specifically his ability will start trying to kill us Luffy.. so I can't tell you, just come with me!" Kraken said.
Akainu's hat hid his anger.
"I have listened to this madness long enough! This world has already been ruined by one shinobi it will not be ruined by more!" Akainu yelled.
Kraken looked back.
"WE'RE GOING AFTER DUBOIS AREN'T WE!?" Akainu yelled.
"YOU IDIOT WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Kraken yelled.
Suddenly the wood on the fire started to crack and pop.
POW!
One of the logs exploded! Everyone covered their faces.
"Is everyone alright!?" Kraken asked.
Hinata slowly looked down at her hands and saw spots of blood, she shook as she looked over at Smoker, who had been shot through the neck by a knot in the wood that exploded.
Smoker choked abd gagged.
"H-H-How... I-I'm sm-smoke..." Smoker choked out before passing away slowly.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Hinata screamed.
"What in the hell just happened!?" Nagashima yelled.
Kraken grit his teeth.
"EVERYONE GET TO MY SHIP NOW! DUBOI'S ABILITY HAS ALREADY STARTED. THIS ISLAND ISN'T SAFE ANYMORE!" Kraken yelled.
