Kakashi was watching the powerful illusion with a strange feeling of awe wash over him as the only other people he seen do amazing feats of Fuinjutsu or genjutsu were Jiraiya or Minato; when it came to their skills in Fuinjutsu, but the Uchiha clan; when it came to illusion skills. Might Gai, had a similar expression of general optimism and awe at what is done by the Leaf village either present time or from a long time ago hard work and prowess.
"This is unusual, and a broken record of what happened..." snarling and muttering the latter half, mostly to herself, although the other two heard her well enough. Glancing at one and another to assume that the record was either tampered with for the Leaf's safety, for the clan's safety or because of certain training becoming specialized to the clans, similar to how Hyuuga clans and Uchiha clans have special techniques meant only for their clan eyes only.
The past (Not at the Orphanage);
A young woman with long shaggy white hair hanging at half down her mid-back and her gray eyes a steely color from years as a Kunoichi working war missions and training under intense scrutiny from her teacher; Shimura Danzo. Her attire changed to being a deep green tank top, revealing lean muscular arms, and some shorts that stuck to her skin as easy to slip unnoticed. The only really noticeable feature are that she had a few bomb tags worn as earrings on.
Showing the Trio also as young teens as well;
Inuzuki Kizuki who wore their shaggy brown hair in a pulled back bun, and started to do different jobs as a genin around the same time Saiko started being a genin for different reasons; just opened a animal center for former shinobi who want animal companions or even protective companions; also from learning about summons whom are animal companions to an extent, which assist their ninja allies. Inuzuka Kin, the younger sister, started becoming a kunoichi after her older brother became one and soon after, Kori attempted to as well, but he struggled through some of the ninja lessons.
"We are building our own futures up, Kin, Kori, and no one will ." Kizuki said with determination burning in his dark, determined eyes.
Present;
The illusion started to fade in areas, and although it skipped much of the training for Kizuki and Saiko's genin years. Kakashi, Gai, and Tsume can definitely assume that it is now because some training was private to the teacher, and some missions were confidential, unless gardening or babysitting for a job.
"That at least explains that Inuzuka Kizuki was determined to have this clan grow into a success." Might Gai spoke with a near awe-struck voice, which could have activated the sunrise and rainbows, if not for the seriousness of the situation and finding out that Saiko may have been working as part of root, when it was still a new function to the Leaf itself. The eerie thought is present in Kakashi's mind, but neither Gai or himself know when Root was actually created and functioning as part of the Leaf village itself.
Tsume mutters to herself "Where is the part of this history where this Saiko gets the marks? How is she connected to the Inuzuka clan?" her eye almost seemed to start twitch at either the intense scanning she was doing of the book of the history of the Inuzuka Clan beginning, or stress over how unclear the history felt to her own eyes and ears.
Until the book started visually clearing up once more...
The past;
Kin, Kizuki and Kori started doing different task as gardening for the other older villagers, and pet sitting for some of the villagers who were new to animals it seemed. As Kin and Kori bonded with dogs, birds and some cats immediately and helped train them to fetch items with loving as reward, or found what motivated them to do tasks for their owners to be, or watchers. While Kizuki was fond of animals, they chose more dangerous missions to help their family as the tamer and sometimes animal friendly tasks given would only help them last a week at most, or give enough to fill the three bellies present.
Saiko had a different training situation where she learned about the different levels and tasks in the government; but only was given the safe village given missions as mandatory, once she took the utmost accepted amount, even to seem reasonable before bigger missions, Shimura Danzo nudged more difficult missions into Saiko's hands. Most were courier missions to navigate long distances and far terrains, seeing different places and how each place is different from one and another. Saiko was pushed to always be diligent by her teacher and always training to improve upon her skills, and if learning something new; to strive for the extreme best, if possible, to be able to perfectly execute the jutsu or the skill being attempted.
Shimura Danzo; remaining stoic as he trained his single student and sometimes nudging a version of team battles where his sole student was pinned against other teacher's students, mostly his friend Sarutobi Hiruzen, and his students; Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and the granddaughter Senju Tsunade.
To say Saiko was defeated would be an understatement; but, Danzo took defeat personally and made Saiko regret each defeat with renewed vigor to try and defeat all at any odds, even if she was outnumbered by many.
Present;
As the different images of what happened for each one's time as a genin slowly showed themselves, the jonin; Kakashi, Gai and Tsume, felt a sense of dread for the future they could see. As they knew Danzo from a distance as a intimidating and intense man. Kakashi saw at a slightly closer distance how intense Danzo can be, but was able to get out of ANBU and remain away from ROOT, while some others were not as lucky as he was. Gai and Tsume did not know how extreme Shimura Danzo could be, but from just seeing the intensity in genin training from him, they felt the foreboding.
For those who seen all of Naruto; this sort of hints at different parts, or even how he gradually gets deeper into the darkness.
But, also could make it a happy or sad ending depending on perspective and where some want it to go, just dont know.
I figured since focused on the building of the clan, it may focus more on the clan and slightly on their different training, but primarily on the clan.
So some questions may take a while to answer, or forever.
