A beam of violet energy clashed with a condensed scarlet ray, the shockwaves from the attack making the planet below them tremble as Meru's Galick Gun & Em's Death Beam tried to overpower the other.
The two fighters in question were both frowning as they fuelled more energy into their spells, cursing as the two attacks overloaded the other & cancelled each other out.
Not even a moment passed before Em & Meru appeared in front of the other, both with a fist pulled back as a scarlet aura overtook their bodies.
"Kaio-Ken x3!" Both roared in unison as they swung their fists forward and space warped as the two fists clashed into each other, both Meru & Em grunting as the force from the attacks clashing completely eviscerated the arms they used.
With ease, their arms grew back & Em was gone as Meru spun around with a heel kick, appearing above his fellow clone before Meru crossed his arms above his head just in time as an axe kick sent him rocketing down towards the ground.
However, the clone disappeared midair & slammed into Em from behind, the clone gritting his teeth as Meru wrapped his arms & legs around him and flew both of them straight into the ground while covered in an explosive aura.
As soon as they hit the ground, the planet trembled as a monstrous shockwave shot out for hundreds of kilometers, Em gritting his teeth as Meru forced him deeper into the ground before they vanished & reappeared in the location where the crowd of scared Shamonians were hiding.
With a shout, Em's ki exploded in all directions as a country-sized dome of swirling energy appeared all around him, Meru gritting his teeth as half of his body had been blown away before he had managed to teleport away.
Em, however, didn't give him any time to regenerate as he appeared above his fellow clone, Meru looking up just in time as a fully-powered Kamehameha slammed into his face & completely erased his head from existence.
"Fuck!" Em cursed as he saw the lower half of Meru's body already having regenerated before crossing his arms in front of him as Meru's headless body flipped backwards while slamming an overhead kick into his arms.
"-believe I wouldn't shift my core?!" Meru shouted as his head finished regenerating, sparks of golden energy covering his arms before Em's eyes widened as a storm of Destructo Disks formed around his fellow clone.
Slapping his hands together as if in prayer while flipping over, Em's body was covered in violet sparks before numerous Death Saucers appeared around him, both clones glaring at each other before they flicked their hands forward.
Immediately, the sky was covered in gold & violet as Destructo Disks crashed into Death Saucers, Meru & Em covered in the same golden and violet energy respectively as they clashed in the middle of the deathly storm around them.
Em punched Meru away only for a Destructo Disk to cut off his arm, Meru disappearing & reappearing above him with his fists raised right before a Death Saucer cut both arms off as he swung them down.
The limbs flew & smacked into Em's skull and sent him blasting down into a Destructo Disk, but the clone simply spun out of the way & let his legs get cut away by his own Death Saucers before their limbs regenerated once more as Em landed on one of his Saucers.
'We're equal in power.' Em thought with a frown as he used his Saucer as a skateboard & flew out of the deathly storm, staring at Meru who was standing in the storm of flying blades with a malevolent grin despite how the Disks & Saucers were cutting chunks of his body away.
It doesn't matter how much they fight if they're both the same person and as Em watched Meru's power exploding off of him, he realized there was only thing to do as he rolled his neck & dismissed the Saucer below him.
Crossing his arms in front of him, Meru frowned as he watched Em's body be covered in a blueish-white glow before his eyes widened as he looked around & saw specks of white energy being absorbed from what was left of the planet around him.
"Oh, no you don't! I'm not going to give you time to make a Spirit Bomb!" Meru exclaimed as he appeared next to Em with an Instant Transmission, his hands held out in front of him while a bright blue orb of energy floated in his palms.
"Big Bang Kamehameha!" Meru roared as he let the attack fly, Em gritting his teeth as he felt pain exploding from the energy blasting a gaping hole in his chest.
Yet, he grinned as he condensed the energy he had absorbed from the planet, gritting his teeth as the pure energy from the planet clashed with his own impure one.
"Oh, this is not a Spirit Bomb." Em spoke with a grin and Meru's eyes widened as his fellow clone leapt forward & wrapped his limbs around him, his eyes widening as a green dome of electric energy covered them right as ki flooded the core inside Em's left eye.
"Final…EXPLOSION!" Em roared and Meru couldn't even get time to get ready right before they were obscured by a bright white light, the electric dome around them cracking right before a colossal amount of ki flushed out & washed over the entire planet.
Shamo was the first planet to vanish as the Spirit Explosion consumed it first, the nearby planets all trembling from the force of the explosion before they all were consumed by it next.
Next, were the meteoroids & asteroids that were in that solar system along with its smaller stars, the explosion growing until everything & everyone in that solar system were no more before it began to whittle out & dissipated.
All that was left…was a void with nothing in it.
I blinked as we made it through the gateway, looking around before frowning slightly as we were now flying through the vacuum of space.
Stretching out my ki sensing, I blinked as I could still feel the ki signatures of the Z-Fighters not too far from here before turning it off once more as I turned to a humming Dabura.
"I thought we would be in the Demon Realm by now? This still feels like the Mortal Realm."
"That's because it is. We still need to go through Warp-sama to get permission to go to the Demon Realm." Glorio answered and I looked at him before back at the chuckling Dabura.
"Wait, the Demon King needs permission to enter his own Realm?" I asked and he simply shrugged before answering.
"I like to see myself as a kind ruler that leads by example. If the ruler decides that the rules no longer apply to him, then why should his citizens follow those rules as well?"
"I…see. Hmm, you know, I thought you were a tyrant that led through force. Man, am I glad I was wrong."
"Lord Dabura is seen as the most powerful & most kind ruler in the history of the Demon Realm and after the last ruler we had, he is seen as a saint by all who live in the Realm."
"Last ruler?" I asked with a frown as I looked to Glorio, who didn't answer while Dabura sighed as I turned to him.
"Mechikabura, the Dark King, though he was a ruler from the shadows that was controlling the Demon Realm's actual leader & my father, Abura. Mechikabura was a vile Demon, believing in the rule of 'might makes right' and that he was the one true god given that he was the most powerful of the Demon Realm."
"And? Was he that powerful?" I asked, unable to find any information of him from neither my past life nor the memories of the Supreme Kais.
"It took myself, my younger siblings and our closest allies to fight him to a draw and even then, he was taken away by some Supreme Kai before he could get serious so I would say he was worthy of the title 'Dark King'."
"I see." I muttered as I turned back to look through the front window, storing that bit of information into my database before blinking as I realized that with my new body, I also had absorbed the memory storage of the Supreme Kais & Buu as well.
In other words, I now had the memories of beings that have been alive for millions of years and with that, the skills that they have seen over those years.
'Oh, the training arc when I get a place to do so is going to be glori-!' However, I was not given more time to bathe in my new found power as the ship began to rock & tremble, my head snapping to the right as I felt Em's energy rising exponentially before both his & Meru's ki signatures faded rapidly.
"Dabura! I need to go check out something! Pulse your ki three times when you get to this Warp-sama & I'll come back."
"Wait, wh-!" Before Dabura could turn to me & ask what I meant, the world around me warped as I found myself right next to their energies, a curse escaping my lips as I found nothing but an eye & an empty void awaiting me.
Ki sensing showed me that it was the eye of Em and as I continued to stretch out my sensing, I gritted my teeth as the entire solar system that was here before was now completely devoid of life.
'Whoever did this is going to get the fucked-up beating of their life.' I thought with a growl as I reached to the eye while pulling forward Shin-ō's memories, Em blinking as his body was restored in the blink of an eye.
"So, who the hell did this? And where is Meru's core so I can restore him too?" I asked as I looked around, trying to sense the slightest hint of Meru's energy before I blinked as I heard Em let out a soft sigh.
"I did this and Meru isn't coming back. He got a Majin mark on his head and went full Vegeta."
"You serious?" I asked as I turned back to face him, already scanning his memories before I frowned as I saw the memories of Meru turning & their fight.
Watching the memory of him turning, I frowned as I saw hints of Babidi's magic in it, but that was overpowered by a magic that felt far more sinister than both the old wizard & Super Buu combined.
"That was a Majin mark, but not Babidi's." I answered as I pulled away from his mind, watching as Em blinked before groaning as he floated to stand upright.
"Could you not…read my mind? It feels weird knowing that you had to look inside your own mind to figure out what's going on."
"Sure. Although, I have to admit I expected you to go bad and not Meru, but I guess the Vegeta in him was more powerful than the Frieza in you. I wonder what caused that." I muttered while looking out into the void, simply hearing Em's hum before I frowned as I turned my head slightly while feeling a powerful energy in that direction.
"Is that who I think it is?" I asked without looking away, hearing Em's chuckle before the clone answered.
"Yes, that's Broly. The one next to him is Paragus. Also, you might want to prepare yourself for this next revelation."
"And what is that?" I asked before my eyes widened as Em smirked & told me everything that he knew.
"Wait, wait, wait! So, not only are Cooler, Turles & Slug in this universe, but they're all working together and on top of that, they made this new Cooler Force thing to take over the universe?"
"That is correct."
"Also, Z-Broly & his father were also in this universe but you don't know how because Meru killed the latter & you helped him kill the former before you could ask them?"
"Yes, that is also unfortunately correct. It would have been nice to know if they were actually Saiyans from this universe or from a different timeline. Oh, what if they were supposed to be Universe 6's Broly & Paragus but we killed them, thus resulting in the birth of Kale as the new Legendary Super Saiyan?"
"Who says that the soul of the Legendary Super Saiyan is what caused the transformation? There could have been two of them born to that universe. Also, did you guys get anything on Granolah or the Frieza Force that you all were supposed to take over?"
"Yes, to both. We found out where Planet Cereal is, but Granolah wasn't there so we decided to get the Broly Hunt out of the way. As for the Frieza Force, at 11." He said and I looked in that direction before humming as I felt the cluster of energy there.
"I…see. Most of them are on the same level as Yamcha or Tien and I can feel a few on Krillin's level."
"Those are probably Bonyu, Jeice's cousin, and Garana, who is supposedly the strongest fighter in their group." Em answered and I nodded before blinking as I felt him looking at me, turning to see him looking at the Potara earrings hanging from my ears.
"What?"
"So, who are you now exactly? Are you still Prime or are you Buu or someone entirely new?"
"The last one. Prime absorbed Buu before he & the Grand Supreme Kai fused into one with the Potara earrings."
"Then, it's not a permanent fusion, is it?"
"For mortals or mortals with divine ki, yes. For a divine being and a being with god ki, it is as permanent as it would be between two Kais. At least, that is what Shin-ō told Prime before they fused to make me."
"Shin-ō?"
"That's the name of the Grand Supreme Kai."
"Ah, makes sense when the one we have is called Shin." Em said and I nodded before I blinked as I felt Dabura's energy pulse three times.
"Ah, it appears I must be off to the Demon Realm. For now, bring the Force under your command up to par and find Granolah. After that, ready yourself for when I return as we will personally take care of Cooler & his Cooler Force."
"That was the plan, yes. Actually, why are you going to the Demon Realm?" He asked and I chuckled as I shrugged.
"For fun. I'll see you when I get back."
"Good luck." Em said in greeting and I vanished before reappearing back in my seat next to Dabura, who looked amused as I turned to him with a smirk.
"Finished your business?"
"Indeed, I did. So, where is this Warp-sama?" I asked and he answered by simply pointing through the front window, to which I turned before my eyes widened slightly at the sight of the giant floating fish-like being in front of the ship.
"It looks incredible." I muttered in awe as I looked at its body, noting how its silver scales around the sides & top of its body shimmered in the light of the nearby stars while its scarlet underbelly & fins looked like they were drenched in blood from the right angle.
"Thank you for the compliment, great Majin Buu." I blinked as I heard the large fish-like being speaking, looking at its face to see it blushing slightly with a happy smile on its face.
"Warp-sama is very fickle on their appearance so for you to give it such an honest compliment, they appear to have taken quite the liking towards you." Dabura answered at my confused look, to which my eyes widened in understanding before I chuckled & turned back to see the fish swaying through space happily.
"I speak nothing but the truth, oh great Warp-sama. However, I must ask why you would call me Majin Buu?"
"You have the same energy as that of the great Majin Buu, the great Destroyer."
"Is Majin Buu really that revered in the Demon Realm?" I asked as I tuned out Glorio reciting some kind of four-digit pin to Warp-sama, Dabura smirking as he nodded.
"Majin Buu is seen as the ultimate Majin, a demonic being that could absorb & destroy as it pleased for the first few million years of its life. However, it disappeared when it was at the height of its power and there are many of its fans that were saddened by its disappearance."
"Let me guess. Most of these fans were more fans of his needless destruction, weren't they?" I asked, shaking my head as Dabura simply answered with a chuckle.
"One could say that, yes. However, I will tell you more later." He said while gesturing to the front and I turned to see Warp-sama opening his mouth as Glorio flew closer.
"Have a good day, Warp-sama!" I greeted as we entered and I swear I heard the fish giggle in excitement before my eyes widened as the world around me began to spin viciously.
Up went left, down went back and forward decided to take a dive through space & time as the ship span like it was shaking us down for cash, the violent rotation lasting for a few moments before it finally ceased.
"That…was a lot lighter than it usually is. It appears your compliment made our travels a lot lighter, sir Buu." Glorio spoke and I slowly blinked while trying to force my stomach out of my throat & back into its place.
"That..was lighter?"
"By a lot."
"Ah, I see the Royal Guard has finally returned with something decent." I blinked as I heard Warp-sama's voice, looking out the front window to see a much smaller one floating in front of the ship.
"We have, indeed. First Demon World, Royal Palace." Glorio answered and the small Warp-sama nodded before it floated out of the way, revealing a red, yellow and blue hatch doors on the far wall in front of us in that order.
"First Demon World?"
"Where the nobles & the royal family live. The second Demon World is where the middle-class citizens & the Kais live and the third Demon World, as you have already guessed, is for the lower-class citizens and the criminals. Also, you might want to brace yourself."
"Please tell it's not going to…?" I trailed off as I saw Dabura's smirk as well as the slightly wary look on Glorio's face, to which I groaned and as the spinning began once more, a single thought went through my mind as I felt myself being pulled through the space-time continuum.
'I am learning how to teleport in and out of the Demon Realm if it's the last thing I do.'
A/N: And we are finally entering the Demon Realm!
The reason I haven't been busy with Prime's perspective was because I wanted Daima to give a bit of world building on the Demon Realm before I added my own twist to it.
Also, let me just add that this chapter was written way before the reveal of Abura, Rymus and all the new characters so I had to shift a few things about to make it make sense without affecting the canon I've already established.
Anyway, Meru is gone now & Em is going back to Broly…or is that true?
Who knows? I'll guess you'll have to find out next week on Dragon Ball: Perfection? Not For Me.
