When the ship had finally stopped spinning, my body was half on the floor & half on my seat, my mind taking a few moments to stop thinking that it was caught in the middle of a hurricane before I blinked as I swiftly pulled myself back into a solid form.
"Never again?" Dabura asked with an amused smirk from where he was seated in his throne, to which I grumbled as I slowly stood up from the ground & plopped back into my throne.
"Never again. I'm going to figure out a way to bypass this realm and teleport in between it & the Living realm so that I don't have to go through that again."
"That would disappoint Warp-sama." Dabura spoke and I simply glanced at the saddened look of the Warp-sama that was floating in an ominous-looking sky before sighing as I crossed my arms.
"If you can make travelling a bit better, then I promise I'll only teleport out if it's emergencies."
"I will get started on it right away, great destroyer Majin Buu!" Warp-sama nodded with a determined look and I smiled & nodded before blinking at the sight that greeted us as we began to descend.
A spiralling tree-like tower stretched up high into the sky, nearly the same size as that of Shenron in length as it pierced the eerie clouds above it. Growing outwards from its sides were five gigantic & durable leaves, with a large manor surrounded by smaller houses & a large barrier inscribed with some kind of runes found on each of them.
Taking a closer look at them, I quickly scanned the runes before searching through the memories in my mind, frowning a bit as I managed to recognize the language, but I couldn't figure out what each sigil meant.
'So magic isn't just easy to learn like ki, huh? I'm guessing each one of those leaves are a noble clan and each clan has their own way of using the runes to make sure that no one of the other two could try & destroy them for a grab at power.' I thought with a hum before waving away Dabura's curious stare, the Demon King simply humming before we turned in unison as the ship finally landed.
It took us a few moments to fly through the gaps in the large tree to be greeted by a large castle that sat high above the five leaves and I noted the group of people/ demons already gathered in front of it.
"Here we are, the Royal Palace. As beautiful as it has ever been." Dabura spoke with a soft smile as he stood up and I looked at the ominous castle with only red, black & gold as its colours before shaking my head as I stood up & followed him to the door.
"So, are you ready to meet my family?" He asked as the door opened, Glorio taking the first step outside while I shrugged as the two of us followed after him.
"I can only hope they're as cordial as you have been."
"Oh, I'm hoping for the exact same. After all, it's been a few centuries since I last saw them." Dabura explained and I nodded as we exited the two, raising an eyebrow as we were greeted by a cheering crowd the moment they saw us.
Dabura just looked at ease as he smiled & waved, the Royal Guards that had been following after us slowly making a pathway for us while Glorio led us through them.
"Brother! Glad to see you were saved from that clutches of that vile Babidi!" I blinked at the sight of the short demon exclaiming with joy as Glorio & I decided to stay back while Dabura kept on walking, smirking a bit as I saw Dabura smiling while patting the head of the short demon.
"So am I, Gomah. I hope the Demon Realm has been taking good care of by my little brother?"
"But of course~ It took me a while, but with the help of Degesu, we managed to get it under control a century ago." The short demon Gomah said while pointing with a gold sceptre at the demon besides him and I raised an eyebrow in surprise at the sight of a Core Person standing right next to the short demon with a smile.
"I thank you for the praise, my lord, but it was all your doing. I simply aided you at points where you needed my help."
"Well, it helped all the same. Your council has served my brother well as ruler, so I wish to thank you for doing so."
"It was my pleasure, my lord." Degesu spoke before he finally noticed me, Gomah doing the same as I started walking towards them.
"A Djinn? How is there still a Djinn alive? Didn't we kill the last of them when they sided with that bastard of a father we had in the last war?" Gomah asked with a frown and I chuckled as Dabura smirked.
"Gomah, Degesu, this is Majin Buu. Buu, this is my younger brother Gomah & his advisor Degesu." As soon as Dabura said my name, everyone around us that wasn't Glorio or a royal guard that came with us froze in place, Gomah paling rapidly as Degesu began to sweat.
"Um, f-forgive me, King Dabura, b-but when you say M-Majin Buu…do you mean…?" He trailed off before his eyes widened as Dabura smiled & nodded.
"Majin Buu, the Destroyer. That is who I meant."
"Was Buu that much of a menace?" I whispered as I leaned towards Dabura, who chuckled as he nodded.
"Remember when I said that you had a lot of fans? Those fans are still in the minority of demons that live today."
"So the rest…?"
"Indeed. They fear the name Majin Buu like many of those in the Outside World."
'I see. Man, Buu really was the king of black air force energy, wasn't he?'
"Everyone, stay calm, please. I am Majin Buu, but I am not at the same time. I am a fusion of Majin Buu, a Bio-Android and the former Grand Supreme Kai." I spoke, the crowd finally feeling safe enough to whisper to each other while I noticed how Degesu's eyes instantly flickered to the Potara earrings I was wearing.
"Take them off, if you wouldn't mind proving it, please?" He asked and I nodded as I reached up & let them fall into my hands, everyone waiting a few moments before I rolled my eyes at the collective relieved sigh they all let loose.
"Apologies for our hesitance, but you should understand it given that if you were a fusion, you should have the memories of what Majin Buu did to us."
"To be truthful, I do, but I haven't looked at them all. I've simply been skimming through a few of them to learn the bare basics of what I needed to know."
"Wait, you said you fused with the Grand Supreme Kai, right? Didn't that oversized Kai get absorbed by Buu almost 5 million years ago?" Gomah asked with a suspicious frown before being surprised as I smiled & nodded.
"He did, indeed. I met him when I absorbed Majin Buu and got his help in both subjugating Buu & absorbing the pink idiot before he could be revived."
"Who would want to revive that monster?"
"The same wizard who kept me under his control for the past 3 centuries." Dabura answered and Degesu sighed as Gomah groaned.
"I swear, Babidi just wants to make trouble for everyone and leave us to clean up his mess."
"He does, indeed. Now while he is here, Majin Buu is my honoured guest so treat him with the same courtesy that you would treat me, understood?" Dabura said and it was not just aimed to the two demons in front of us, but also the gathered crowd around us who all nodded before I raised an eyebrow as Dabura frowned & looked around.
"Um, Gomah. Where is Towa & Arinsu?"
'Who the hell is Arinsu?' I thought with a frown as Gomah simply snorted while Degesu smirked.
"Where else but their shared laboratory? They've been stuck in their for the past year and only came out when I told them we finally found you."
"And what was their response to that news?"
" 'Come fetch us when you finally get him back.' if I'm remembering Lady Towa's words correctly." Degesu answered and I snickered as Dabura sighed & shook his head before blinking as the demon king patted me on the shoulder.
"Come then, friend. I promised you that you would get to meet my family and you still have to meet one more member."
"…Eh, why not?"
"So, if I may ask, why is it that a Core Person is currently hanging out with demons?" I asked Degesu as the four of us & Glorio slowly made our way towards this lab where Towa & Arinsu were, the other two demons caught up in their conversation as Degesu smiled.
"From your usage of the term Core Person, I assume you are referring to those like me from the Outside World, correct?"
"That…would be correct. I'm guessing that you are different compared to your Outside World counterparts." I said and smirked as he chuckled & nodded.
"I am, indeed. The variant of Core Person species I'm from are called Glinds and we are demons that reside in the Second Demon World."
"Oh? And how did it come to be that some of you are called Glinds and some of you are Core Persons?"
"That is because the term Core Person was only made after most of the Glind's race left the Demon Realm and went on to live on the World Core in the Outside World when the trees we are born from died out. That is also why it is rare to find a good Glind in our current time since most Core Persons that were born pure hearted were allowed to live on the World Core while those that are born with even the slightest of malice were cast away to 'die for our sins in the Demon Realm' according to my 'better' family members."
"…Well, isn't that nice? So, your species is like those that dictate someone's life on whether they'll be good or evil from the time that they are born, huh?" I asked, shaking my head as Degesu nodded with a frown.
"Yes, and that is why Arinsu & I are here while my elder brother is not. We were all born in the Demon Realm, but the Grand Supreme Kai decided to take him as his apprentice simply because he had a pure ki while we did not." He spoke and I hummed as I scanned him, noting the potent god ki he had with hints of some malicious energy clinging to it.
In fact, I could feel that same energy clinging to everyone's ki and the atmosphere around me, but the one in the atmosphere felt far more sinister than even Dabura's did, which makes sense since this was the Demon Realm so the natural malevolent ki was not such a big surprise.
'Wait, elder brother?' I finally processed his words as I looked at Degesu, frowning a bit as his facial features looked very similar to another Supreme Kai that I know of.
"Hah, does your brother perhaps a name that starts with an S-?"
"And ends in -hin? Yes, it does." Degesu spoke with a smirk, chuckling as I shook my head while palming my face.
"So, our Universe's Supreme Kai is your older brother, huh? It's a small world."
"He is, but to be truthful, he's too much of a nosey upstart and good for me to consider him as my brother."
"Oh? Is that because you're 'evil' or that you just don't like him?"
"A little bit of both to be truthful. Why do you ask?" Degesu asked while glancing at me and I noted how the two brothers were now listening in on our conversation before smirking as I shrugged.
"If it were me before my fusion, I would have blasted you through the skull, but since I don't even know who the hell I truly am right now, I can't bring myself to care about good or evil."
"Hmm, I see." He spoke with a hum and I smirked before we turned as Dabura cleared his throat.
"Apologies for interrupting your lovely conversation there, gentlemen, but we are here." He said and I looked past him only to raise an eyebrow at the door made out of a solid black metal in front of us.
"Well, I'd come with, brother, but I've been banned from Towa's lab for an incident that happened a few decades ago so I shall be leaving. Mr. Buu, if you can, perhaps a quick discussion later?" Gomah asked and I raised an eyebrow before shrugging.
"Sure and the name's Cell, not Buu."
"Okay, right. Cell. Degesu, come! We must go & prepare a feast in honour of my brother & his guest!"
"As you wish, my lord. Until we meet later, Sir Cell."
"To you as well, Degesu." I said with a slight bow, which they both reciprocated before I stood up as they walked away.
"Huh, it used to take both of them years to even trust someone so seeing them be that friendly is a nice surprise."
"Really? Degesu seemed nice and Gomah seemed…okay, I guess?" I finished lamely, giving a sheepish grin as Dabura snorted while pressing a hand against the door in front of us.
"Okay is all right in my books." He answered before opening the door, to which I hummed as I walked in only to blink at the sceptre held to my face.
"I would be happy to see you brother, but can you tell me why there is a Djinn leaking an absurdly potent temporal aura in my lab right now?" I simply blinked at the beautiful white-haired woman looking at me with a frown as she held her sceptre to my head, her eyes flickering towards Dabura while I took my chance to check her out.
'Damn, she's really hot.' I thought with a smirk as I saw the slender & curvaceous body hidden behind the white lab coat she was wearing, Dabura simply chuckling as he lowered her sceptre while patting my back.
"Towa, this is my honoured guest Cell. Cell, this is my younger sister Towa." He said and I hummed as we looked at each other, a narrowed frown on her face while I smirked as I held her gaze.
"Cell? Hmm, your energy does feel like his, but also like that of Majin Buu & the Grand Supreme Kai. Anything to say about that?"
"Depends. Do you have a bio-clone like me that you call Mira?" I asked and she raised an eyebrow before snorting as she turned & walked away, my eyes quickly flickering to her behind before looking away just as quick as I felt Dabura's gaze on me.
"I did, but he died in my last temporal jump. Now, your turn."
"I'm the Cell from the alternate timeline where Trunks killed Androids #17 & #18, but couldn't find me." I answered, confusing both Dabura & Glorio while Towa's eyes widened slightly before a curious look appeared in her eyes.
"I see. And with your future knowledge, you fused with Majin Buu & your variant of this timeline to attach yourself to the time stream without getting detected by the Time Patrol. Not a bad idea, but did you account for the timeline that you've just created with that plan?" She asked before sighing as I blinked & slowly shook my head.
"Not at all."
"Hah, as I expected. Do not worry. When you entered my laboratory, the temporal aura that you've been exuding has been cleansed so no one will be able to find you."
"…Has this ever happened?" I asked before raising an eyebrow as she snorted & sat down behind one of the many computers around the room.
"Just once and that was when I got visited by an alternate timeline of myself, so I decided to prepare myself for when that could happen at a later time."
"Hmm, nice. So, Dabura, when were you going to tell me how beautiful your sister is?"
"That is not my job to do. Also, another word and Majin Buu or not, I will gut you like a fish."
"Sure, buddy." I spoke with a grin as I patted his back, the demon king glaring at me before we both turned as Glorio cleared his throat.
"Not to interrupt your discussion, but I'll be needing my payment now."
"Really, Glorio? Is that any way to talk to your mother & uncle?" Towa asked with a raised eyebrow, my eyes widening as Glorio simply sighed before I turned as the door to the side of the lab opened and another beautiful woman walked through.
Being fairly tall with long white hair that she styled upwards and a pale pink complexion, the Glind that walked in was dressed in a dark pink dress that had a split on the front with a red lining, a light grey skirt underneath her dress with a pair of fingerless magenta gloves and a dark red cape with a collar.
However, as soon as she looked up from the tablet in her hands, I blinked as she was gone from her position and in front of Dabura before my jaw went slack as she leapt into his arms.
"Darling~!" She exclaimed before I watched as Dabura, one of the strongest beings in the universe, was greeted by a searing hot kiss that made him stumble back.
'WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!'
A/N: And the plot thickens as we continue our journey through the Demon Realm!
Truthfully, I don't even know what the plot is at this point but it seems to be working out somewhat so we roll with it.
Also, remember that these chapters were written weeks before everything was revealed so if you find something that doesn't fit with the canon of Daima, know that I'll be trying my best to adjust things as the anime goes, okay?
This is just so no dragon ball fans get mad at me, okay?
