"I can't believe those wild dragons were behind those wildfires that almost wrecked LA." Deadly said.
The Pimpertons had just gotten back to their house in LA, because of the wildfires but Deadly and Dudley had discovered wild dragons had been behind the wildfires so they and Kaley had calmed them down lush Sisu had used her water-magic to stop the fires meaning the humans and magical beings that lived in LA could move back into their houses including the Pimpertons who'd returned to the Labyrinth while the fires had been happening. "Yeah, but everything turned out okay." Crystal said to them.
They were checking on their friend, Jessica Atvoca who along with her adopted son, Jeff hearing her say she and Jeff were fine but relieved they were fine. Only Dudley was surprised the fires had affected his fashion boutique making Crystal and Deadly understand hoping he had insurance making Dudley nod.
"You'll be back on your paws in no time." Daphne told him.
"That's true Daphne. Are the kids okay." Dudley told her.
"They're still recovering, especially Moony." Deadly told them. They understood this as fires wrecking the city they called home was pretty scary so knew the kids would have questions on their minds.
"I don't think the fires will come back, since my dad and uncle made sure those dragons won't do it." Kaley reassured them.
"That's good Aunt Kaley. It was scary." Moony said softly making Maya abree which Casey and Oreo got hugging her lil sis reassuring her that everything was okay which Oreo agreed with.
"Things are finally getting back to normal, after all that craziness. At least we had insurance." Deadly said.
It was a week later and he and Daphne were at the Last Bookstore but Deadly was helping put new books on the shelves using magic but he could hang out with the other phantoms after this, to keep them from making mischief which was part of the deal heand Daphne had made, with Kaley drawing up a contract using her paralegal skills, which was laminated so Deadly couldn't destroy it which Kaley found amusing.
"Yes it was good we had insurance. I see we're still keeping the deal." Daphne said hearing commotion.
"I'm on it, they're just riled up because they hid in the vault during the fires." Deadly told her heading to the Ghost Stories section sighing making the other phantoms annoyed, as it was just as much their space like the humans that occupied it which Deadly got knowing sharing was hard so needed time to figure it out.
