Aside from the three Genin teams, there were several other teams following Li Zhenwu, hoping to snatch the Heavenly Scroll from his hands.
After eliminating this team, Li Zhenwu decided to take care of a few more teams without hesitation.
Thanks to his ability to sense Ki, these lower-ranked ninjas were completely exposed to Li Zhenwu and were easily captured and... resolved without much effort.
The Saiyan system didn't even classify these encounters as battles, so Li Zhenwu gained any combat points, which left him feeling somewhat bored.
As a result, he ended up with five Earth Scrolls in his possession. Carrying these scrolls, Li Zhenwu walked nonchalantly through the Forest of Death toward the destination of his mission.
Three days later...
Because he was carefree, Li Zhenwu encountered a few other ninjas along the way, but the conflicts were minimal, and he ended up with two more Heaven Scrolls and Earth Scrolls in hand.
During this time, he also ran into some Konoha ninjas. Since they didn't show any intention of battling him and instead greeted him friendly, Li Zhenwu generously gave them some of the unnecessary scrolls he had.
Li Zhenwu's leisurely pace eventually allowed him to traverse the vast Forest of Death and reach the mission's destination.
"Boring," he yawned lazily as he entered the destination tower. A chunin from Konoha in charge of reception came over upon seeing him and appeared unfazed.
"Truly worthy of being a monster from Konoha and the pupil of Lord Hokage," the chunin remarked.
To his surprise, Li Zhenwu realized that despite his slow pace, he was the first to arrive at the destination.
"This batch is lacking," he shook his head. Compared to the Chunin Exams that later had a significant impact on Konoha, this Chunin Exam could only be described in one word: pathetic.
Feeling bored inside the tower, Li Zhenwu sought out the chunin present to spar with.
Given Li Zhenwu's 'belligerent nature,' while the Konoha ninjas might not know him well, they had certainly heard of him.
Moreover, as a disciple of the Third Hokage, few outright refused his requests for sparring.
However, after fighting Li Zhenwu twice, two chunin firmly refused to engage him in any more battles. The outcomes had been too disheartening; it was an absolute one-sided crush!
If Li Zhenwu hadn't attacked, it might have been fine, but whenever he did, the two chunin felt like drifting boats in the vast ocean, utterly powerless to resist!
After this, the two chunin sincerely acknowledged Li Zhenwu as a 'monster' of Konoha and started to silently mourn for the other participants...
Before entering the final exam, a preliminary elimination round was held to weed out the weaker candidates, as there were still quite a few lower-ranked ninjas left.
The ninja presiding over the preliminaries was Shiranui Genma, someone Li Zhenwu was quite familiar with.
As a special jōnin of Konoha, Shiranui Genma had a cousin named Shiranui Gensui, who had previously been Li Zhenwu's teammate, thus making Li Zhenwu acquainted with Shiranui Genma as well.
During their chats, Shiranui Gensui often brought up his cousin with pride.
After explaining the requirements for the preliminary rounds, Shiranui Genma prepared to let the Genin compete.
However, given the monotony he had felt since the start of the Chunin Exams, Li Zhenwu could no longer tolerate the tedious rounds that dragged on endlessly.
After all, there would still be a formal assessment after the preliminaries, but to Li Zhenwu, it posed no challenge at all.
Therefore, he was unwilling to waste any more of his time.
So, as soon as Shiranui Genma finished explaining the rules, Li Zhenwu disregarded them entirely and instantly flashed to the center of the arena.
"Eh? What's that kid doing there?"
"Does he want to be the first to compete?"
"That kid really loves to show off."
The ninjas murmured, and Li Zhenwu grew impatient.
Using his chakra, he amplified his voice to echo throughout the entire place.
"Having everyone compete one by one is too troublesome. I frankly lack the patience for this; in my opinion, you all are way too weak. If we go one by one, it's a waste of my time."
As Li Zhenwu finished speaking, many ninjas' gazes toward him changed—some filled with disdain, others with ridicule or concern.
Nonetheless, he paid them no mind and continued, "So here I stand in the center of the arena; you can all come at me at once! Accept your defeat obediently so I can pass the assessment and stop wasting my time."
"Arrogant little brat!" One ninja scoffed.
"Who does he think he is, the leader of a ninja village? How dare he talk in such a manner?"
As soon as Li Zhenwu finished speaking, one ninja could no longer hold back.
A stout Rain Ninja jumped down, sneering, "Let me see what you little brat can do, talking such big..."
Before he could finish, Li Zhenwu suddenly moved, his speed so fast that most couldn't even see him approach the Rain Ninja.
He simply threw a straight punch.
The Rain Ninja had no chance to fight back and was sent flying hard against the wall!
"Stop your pointless chatter; you all might as well come at me together! This isn't about any one of you; it's about the fact that you're all too weak."
