Phantoms of the Voyager Holodeck

The mischievous Q kind of impatiently asks, "well, Kes? We don't have all day. What the hell is going on?!"

Kes groans.

She explains, "the Q child Trevil has trapped Captain Janeway and the rest of my crew in bad movies on the holodeck, turned them into holograms, and gave command of the ship over to Iden and his resistance group of holograms. The last part is a little puzzling to me too. But..."

On the first part? The mischievous Q scoffs.

He insists, "come on Kes. How much worse could these movies be? Plenty of the crew's adventures might as well be out of horror movies. They couldn't even open a movie theater holodeck program for b movies without walking into the adventure I'd call Phantom of the Super Condensed Maquis Opera!"

Kes tries hard not to laugh at that.

Kes concludes, "oh, you'd be surprised."

The mischievous Q snaps his fingers. Time slows around the two of them.

With a slight smirk... He comments, "give me your best shot. We have some more time now."

Kes somewhat lightly says, "all right. I'll play. But, if I win? You have to let me run this whole mission."

The mischievous Q adds, "deal. Not that you'll win anyway."

Kes chuckles a little.

She points out, "Harry Kim is stuck in the 2019 Joker movie."

The mischievous Q figures, "no surprise there. He's afraid of clowns. However... Since you handed me a great line on a Tuvok episode? I'll give you one more chance to surprise me."

Kes puts a contemplative finger over her lips.

After a bit... She tells him, "B'Elanna is stuck in the movie Star Trek: Into Darkness...in the role of Uhura."

The mischievous Q winces.

He goes, "ouch. That's almost as bad as non-existence! I thought the Tau Apple Cs buried that timeline dumpster fire forever. Heavy sigh. All right Kes. You win. Now what?"

Kes smirks wide.

She remarks, "now you wait for me to come up with a plan like a good Q man."

The mischievous Q frustratedly sighs.

He mutters, "I was never the patient type."

Kes realizes, "wait a minute. The only ones who knew that timeline existed are the Supervisors, Q, me, and...Tanis."

She and the mischievous Q look fairly stunned.

Kes concludes, "I'll be right back. I'll straighten him out. Try not to touch anything."

The mischievous Q snarkily comments, "well, you can't make me promise everything you want. You're not my wife."

With a smirk... Kes somewhat lightly remarks, "and thank the galaxy I'm not her."

The mischievous Q smirks back.

A bluish green portal opens by Kes.

Kes walks through it.

After a bit... There's a bright blue flash.

Iden and his holographic crew of resistance fighters vanish from the U.S.S. Voyager's Bridge.

And... The whole U.S.S. Voyager crew is back on Voyager: Going on with their journey in the Delta Quadrant like nothing strange happened recently.

The mischievous Q looks speechless.

Kes appears in front of him.

The mischievous Q is incredulously saying, "but how did...?! When did...?"

Kes looks amused.

She explains, "it turns out Tanis was behind this altered timeline. Trevil wasn't even here. Tanis wanted some more excitement. But, that's no excuse really. So... Chuckle. I gave him a different universe he can play in, and he changed this timeline back to normal all by himself."

The mischievous Q murmurs, "just like that?" Kes answers, "just like that."

They both smirk wide.

In a cutaway... A smiling Tanis is seen in a dark blue mecha...with purple lightsabers for fingers on the mecha's hands.

And... A announcer says, "Star Wars: The Mecha Wrestle Clone Saga. Coming to Paramount Plus on April 20th!"

Stopping to Smell the Tenebian Flowers

In the year 2375, in the Nexus...

Wesley, the mischievous Q, Lady Q, Kes, and Q Laura appear on a mountain among many.

The sky is cloudy. There are mountain valleys with tall trees and fields of blue and green jeweled flowers. There are plenty of caves.

A frisbee styled U.S.S. Enterprise with blue lights along the whole rim is docked on the side of one of the mountains. The ship's cargo ramp is opened up.

Kes comments, "if the situation wasn't so dire... I'd be tempted to explore the whole Nexus."

Lady Q concludes, "oh "please". Compared to the Q? It's just a small sad carnival ride."

Kes annoyedly rolls her eyes.

With a smirk... Q Laura figures, "speak for yourself, lady Q. I like the view."

With some mixed feelings... Mischievous Q adds, "someone sure has been spoiled by my gifts."

Lady Q just smiles wide at him.

Wesley just says, "it's all right. I prefer Tau Alpha C and Earth myself. But, that's just me."

Then... They all start to notice a Captain Jonathan Archer and a long black haired Betazoid woman in the cargo bay.

A Extended Glimpse of Central Timelines

From cosmic lava like swirls... Bubbles of space-time tears show two divergent central timelines.

They spin around like two moons slowly but surely orbiting a planet. The space-time tear bubble on one side is giving off a mostly bright red cosmic aura. The space-time tear bubble on the opposite side is giving off a mostly dark blue cosmic aura.

A certain set of flashes with Future Vash go by: Of her and a second Vash hugging each other close in a Risa styled mirror, of Future Vash herself as another voice for the second Vash showing a report that Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott was found alive on one of the U.S.S. Enterprise's missions...and of a smiling Captain Picard with a comforting arm around a smiling Vash while she's cradling their baby boy named Cass on a couch.

A set of flashes with different notes go by: Of billions of former Borg drones returning to their homeworlds with cautiously open arms, of Captain Janeway and Captain Picard and both of their crews having a formal party on the U.S.S. Enterprise to celebrate billions of former Borg drones returning to their homes, of Starfleet Intelligence officers taking a angry Shinzon away before he can strike at Captain Picard or Romulan senators...and of a Starfleet officer with very long black streaked blond hair named Xana holding hands with a smiling wide Seven from across a table in the U.S.S. Voyager's Mess Hall.

A certain set of flashes with a alternate Vash go by: Of her leaving Deep Space Nine to explore the Gamma Quadrant on behalf of the Ferengi Quark, of Deanna Troi trying to comfort a teary eyed Captain Picard after hearing about the loss of his brother and his nephew, of a embittered Admiral Jean-Luc Picard running his family's vineyards...and of Admiral Picard meeting a mysterious android that would lead to a path of redemption for him and many others.

Not Trilling At All

In the year 2365, on the planet Dytallix B...

A shuttle with rainbow ribbon lights in crystal bulkheads on the side is docked here. Many Starfleet officers are lying unconscious by mining tunnels on the planet. Wreckages of Starfleet ships and Romulan ships are circling the stars around the Dytallix system.

Wesley, the mischievous Q, Lady Q, and Kes appear by the shuttle.

Kes checks, "are you sure asking this guy for help is a good idea, Wesley?"

The mischievous Q and Lady Q are groaning hard. They're clutching their heads.

Wesley admits, "believe me, Kes. He's the last man I want to turn to now. But... Heavy sigh. The new timeline created by Q child Trevil goes back so many years ago that it's giving Q and Lady Q headaches. By the time they sort out their thoughts on it? It'll be too late to restore the timeline. We have no choice but to turn to this guy to find out when and where it started. Or, I would have found it."

Kes concludes, "I understand. We'll get through this, Wesley. I'll be right here. Just try to stay calm."

She puts a comforting hand on Wesley's.

Wesley somewhat shakily nods.

He says, "thank you Kes." Kes adds, "you're welcome."

Wesley takes a deep breath.

He knocks on the door to the shuttle.

After a bit... The shuttle door opens.

Berlinghoff Rasmussen answers the door, "Wesley Crusher? Of this timeline? This is fascinating. I thought you were lost after the Trill-Vorsoth wiped out the Federation."

With a warning glare... Wesley is in the midst of saying, "cut the act of being a Time Police affiliated historian. I know who you really...! !"

A Alternate Doctor Crusher calls out, "Wesley?! Oh my god. It's you!"

She has a white gown with sky blue lining. Tears are falling from her face.

She hugs Wesley tight. He hugs her back.

Kes telepathically tells Wesley, "I know it's hard to not tell your mother everything: Especially now. But... Heavy sigh. She has suffered a lot in this timeline. She's not ready to hear the truth about her husband Berlinghoff."

On the last part? Wesley tries hard to hide his disgust for Berlinghoff.

Wesley takes a deep breath.

Teary eyed... He somberly explains, "mom? I'm afraid I'm not the same son you think I am. I'm from another time."

Kes and Berlinghoff get teary eyed. Kes sniffles hard.

Wesley and the Alternate Doctor Crusher pull away some. Tears are falling from both of their faces.

Wesley tries to assure, "but... I promise you, mom. Me, my friend Kes, Q, and Lady Q will bring your son back along with the rest of the Federation."

The Alternate Doctor Crusher slowly nods.

With a somber smile... She says, "thank you Wesley. Please bring them all back."

Kes somberly smiles too.

A Day of Future Past Returned

Somewhere in the Delta Quadrant...

Lady Q has made appear a timeship shuttle with a snap of her fingers.

Kes is piloting the timeship shuttle. Lady Q is sitting next to her.

Kes can't help but ask, "okay, Lady Q. What was so important that we couldn't tell Q the truth?"

With a faint smirk... Lady Q remarks, "I'll do better than tell you, Kes. You have front row seats for why."

Suddenly... They see a giant sized Q child's hand pick up and throw a certain time ship through time and space.

Kes realizes, "Captain Braxton's time ship. Q child Laura is changing its...course."

Lady Q presses some buttons on the shuttle. She has the viewscreen show Kes a kind of slowly forming new timeline.

Flashes go by: Of giant sized databank supercomputers instead of PCs being built through the 21st century, of the timeship Aeon crash landing in the year 2063, of Zefram Cochrane leaving Earth with a crudely repaired timeship Aeon...and of half of the Earth taken over by the Borg in a Borg-human civil war.

With mixed feelings... Kes mutters, "oh * * * *. I understand too well why Q can't know of this timeline. It'd give him worse ideas for his mind games to test humans."

Lady Q concludes, "thank you for understanding. I'll keep Q Laura busy. You change back the course of Captain Braxton's time ship."

Kes quickly nods.

Lady Q vanishes from the timeship shuttle.

Soon... She and Q Laura start to fire Q octagon blasts at each other in outer space.

Kes speeds up the timeship shuttle after Captain Braxton's timeship.

Kes is getting a tractor lock on Captain Braxton's timeship.

She plans to slingshot ram the shuttle into it to alter its course. She gets a subspace corridor ready for herself to evacuate the shuttle in time.
