The duality of the carrot.
Cain was worried. While the Borg's were (sickeningly) happy at his restrictions, he knew just how fast that opinions could change. That was the initial reason for why he had called the strange (former) Magos into his office.
"More tea?" Cain offered, plastering the friendliest smile he could manage. "I assure you, the Liberations Liberated Tea™ is the best in the segmentum."
"Yes. Please." The tech-priest answered. Holding out its empty cup, it watched with detached eyes (literally) as Cain poured. "I. Am. Plea-. Sed. To. Be. Of. Ser-. Vi-. S." It carefully pronouncing each word with a new, and probably stolen, voice-box. "How. May. I. Ser-. V. You?"
Laughing softly, Cain shook his head. "This isn't about how you may serve me. Rather, it is about how I may serve you." Cain continued before the tinman could protest. "I have come to a realization. Many of the ancient wonders are of civilian make. Do I presume correctly?" At the Borg's nod he grinned. "Excellent. While many of their venerable war-spirits have been retired I have unfortunately noticed a series of flaws in our inventory of war-machines. With the Omnissiah's blessings, I propose that we modify some of the civilian wonders to fix this gap."
Not wanting to show any of his nervousness, Cain pretended to calmly sip his tea. The Borg sat near motionless, its only moments being the consuming tea. Finally. After an awkward silence, it gave a curt nod. Rising from its sitting position, it left silent.
Cain breathed a sigh of relief. He had once more survived sabotaging the enemies of the God-Emperor.

Page three of Xanthanor's report.
Greetings meatbags. The inquisitor and the other Magos are currently locked in a fierce theological debate. As such, I have allowed myself to write this page. No Meatbag-Xanathor, I don't care about your fancy title. The Gussar – The Gussar is a strange little device which closely resembles that of the Dark-Fey's Hellions. According to the Heretics, the Gussar is based on ancient Terran 'Segway' upgraded with anti-grav tech and updated to military standard. It is best to dismiss these claims and refer to the Cainites positive relations with the Dark-Feys. The Gussar is in many ways a more serious threat than its Feyish original. It can still only have a single, unprotected, crewmate. This is strictly due to size limitations, the strength of the anti-grav allows it to field the heaviest single-operated weapons there are. Having the weapon (Usually twin-linked auto- or Las canons) mounted firmly on a forward pole, the pilot is free to engage at his heat's content. Unlike the Feys, the Gussar will never engage in melee. Rather, it will prowl in packs of savage raiders. The packs will mostly operate independently, much like loyalist rough-riders, where they will use initiative, speed, aggression and sheer firepower to devastating effect. Gussar' formations have been observed closely following either Sky-Kites or Wave-Riders as either screen or mobile firepower. Luckily, the Gussar is not a durable vehicle. Following the Fey's doctrine, the Gussar is only effective if it is allowed freedom of movement. If left without, then they will suffer high attritions at stunning speed. Ultimately, the Gussar is best combated by clever manoeuvring and specialised anti-fey units. The Cuirassier – The Cuirassier is an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) meant to replace the trusty chimera. Results have been mixed. The Cuirassier is similar, in appearance, to the Goliath used by the Genestealer-Cults. However, a curious observer will notice a stark difference quickly. First, the Cuirassier is much 'sleeker'. Second that it has removed the protective shield in front. It makes up for this by simply having added more amour, and more importantly, making it much larger. At the top it has mounted a turret equipped with the usual MBT variants, with a stubber attached sideways. Some crews have been noted having cut murder holes in the vehicles. Due to its gargantuan side the Cuirassier is capable of carrying a stunning number of soldiers, some observers have noticed it carrying a whole platoon inside. These soldiers, being mechanized, have been noticed carrying more 'elite' weapons (plasma, melta, flamer and the odd bolter. While it is at times unwieldy, the few units equipped with it have been observed taking great joy in charging their 'steeds' through terrified opponents. The cannon and stubber firing wildly, while the mounted platoon add their own firepower through the murder holes. All in all, a nifty idea with limited battlefield use.
