Ch 9
That night, Barry took 2013 Barry to the Central City Crime Lab to get his powers, but the door was locked so Barry carried his 2013 self and they both phased through the door.
When they were in, Barry let go of 2013 Barry and 2013 Barry was way too excited because he had literally walked through a door.
"We walk through the door?" 2013 Barry asked in amazement.
"Shhh! Yes, it's called phasing." Barry explained.
"I love phasing." 2013 Barry said with a grin.
Then they both finally snuck into the right lab room and Barry sat 2013 Barry into a chair.
"Okay, this is where I was sitting and I had just opened those windows..."
As he was recounting how he got his powers, Barry opened the windows using his super speed. "To clear out the fumes...And I was sitting right in that chair and I was right under this shelf of chemicals and that's when the lightning hits."
"Wait, I get hit by lightning?" 2013 Barry asked, shocked.
"No, the lightning hits the chemicals which then you get bathed in and that's what electrocutes you." Barry clarified.
"I don't wanna be electrocuted though." 2013 Barry protested and Barry sighed. He really didn't have time for this.
"You already have the powers!" 2013 Barry shouted and tried to get back up but Barry pushed him back down.
"I am not getting struck by LIGHTNIII-"
Then a gigantic bolt of blazing blue lightning blasted the chemicals which were bathed on 2013 Barry as both Barrys got blasted.
Barry also lost a tooth and itreallyhurt, a lot.
Then both of the Barrys collapsed and passed out.
Now 2013 Barry had gotten his powers and had just become Flash.
Barry on the other hand was a whole 'nother bad story.
Barry didn't know it yet but he had just lost his powers.
