Cain just can't catch a break(Crack)
Year 14 after Liberation, Aboard one of the cargo ships traveling between Slawkenberg and Adumbria.
"Captain we have to drop out of warp immediately or the storm will consume us" said one of the few astrograph that had remained alive and in service to the Liberator. Once the ship had dropped out and was back in the Materium and it was confirmed that they wouldn't immediately die, the bridge crew took a look at their surroundings, as they were between star systems nothing could be seen by the naked eye. Except for a ping on their sensors, they were surprised that there was anything in the void. It appeared to be a large voidship that had been struck by asteroids and had taken damage from the warp. A few days later the warp Strom had passed and the ship could return to Slawkenberg, where they informed the Navy of what they had found.
The Borg and the USN always looking for somewhere to practice quickly gathered permission from the council to rescue the ship and left. After the expedition team had boarded the ship and found it to be empty, they transported it back to the Hulk. Where the Borg did an in-depth investigation of the ship. It was found to be a millennia old colony ship, almost every system was unrecognisable and completely destroyed, except for one.

"We have been truly blessed, my lord. The Ship that we have recovered has only one useful thing aboard and it is a fully functional and complete STC database, with this we will be able to improve our technology and will in the future be able to spread Liberation to even more systems." the entire council was happy. Cain smiled and after the session had finished left speechless.
Once he was alone in his rooms and the soundproofing was on. "Fuck. Fuck, Fuckity fuck. How is this possible?" he screamed. He then thought, How in the Emperors name will I be able to hold them back now. With the STC we are going to be unstoppable, our fleets will be more advanced our weapons greater, we will be unstoppable. I just can't catch a break.
