The world spun, both outside and within, even though all he was doing was lying down. The dark clouds ahead beckoned for rain, but none came forth to wash away his embarrassment. There was a smell of blood in the air as well, could he have been hurt more than he thought? Clutching his head and moaning, he didn't even open his eye as the sound of Percy's footsteps grew near.
They stopped right next to him. "I'm sorry about having to do that. I really am. But I didn't particularly want to get poisoned by you today, as I have other things to do. I hope that memory was a pleasant one at the very least." Another moment of silence. Cobra tried to will himself to stand, but between the crashing of thoughts from Percy and his pounding head, he could barely think straight. It took everything he had to catch what Percy said next. "And it appears I may have offended you accidentally. I mean you are easily offend-able, but I genuinely didn't think you would take it that far. I want to offer you my sincerest gratitude because the two of you have finally made my dream come true. You may rejoice…" the footsteps started again, going ahead of him, out of the alley, "…because I am guessing that after today, you will be done with the Love Doctor booth. Although, I am sad to see it end, just as everything was beginning…" His last sentence trailed off as he continued walking, and in another few seconds, he was gone.
