"Last time on Total Drama Island," Chris recapped, "Our campers became hunters and the hunted." The scene flashed back to the hunters and deer of each team, then to Owen's attempts at hunting. "Owen's game was way off," Chris continued, "And when he finally caught wind of his prey, he totally blew it." The scene changed to Owen falling off the cliff. "Add in the fact that a rage-filled Helga tossed him off the cliff as revenge for shooting her...except that it was Rodney who fired the shot in question." The scene changed to Bryan and Valerie getting their antlers stuck together. "Bryan and Valerie got a bit of a headache." The scene changed to Sam and Millie chatting. "While Sam made good bonds with Millie. Not so much with Priya, though."
...
The scene changed to Luna and Fen-Ryu. "Luna made a deal with a tree...red marky thingy," Chris continued. "Hey, it's Luna, people." The scene changed to Austin, Helen and Lucas fleeing from the chupacabra. "She unleashed a ferocious and chaotic chupacabra." The scene changed to Phoebe snuggling the beast. "Which got tamed by Phoebe of all people. She's even calling it Barry." The scene changed to Luna and Julia turning people into animals. "But the wicked little witch also gave herself and Julia some animal-turning staffs, and it was HILARIOUS! Seriously, did anyone see Scott's face?" The scene changed to Cody's bear encounter. "Cody also made a friend, who quickly beat the crap out of him. Can anyone say medevac?"
...
The scene changed to Leshawna, Beth and Heather firing paintballs at each other. "In a weird and strangely watchable twist," Chris continued, "Leshawna, Lindsay, Beth and Heather turned their paintball guns on each other. It was a full-on wrestle for dominance within most of the female Gopher squad, and the Gophers were sent to the bonfire." The scene changed to Cody's elimination. "But Cody was mercifully eliminated due to his injuries."
...
The scene returned to Chris on the dock. "How much more tension will the Gophers handle?" he narrated. "Will Luna and Julia come up with another evil scheme? And is Jasmine still a kangaroo? All these questions will be answered right now on Total...Drama...Island!"

It was nighttime at Camp Wawanakwa. Inside the Frog cabin, Sol was putting some herbs into a pot. "Pass me that bottle of salamander slime," he requested.
"Um...this it?" Samey asked as she held up a small red bottle.
"Yep. Just need a few drops of it. Hopefully this healing potion turns out okay."
"Why are you making this stuff?"
"Figured it'd be good to have on hand. Between the hockey boys and now Cody, we might need it in the future. Ugh, I can't remember if it needs to boil."
"It does," Dawn suddenly spoke up as she stood behind the duo, starling them.
"Oh!" Samey cried out. "Dawn! Aren't you supposed to be in the spa hotel?"
"I have some...other matters to sort out first. Sol, I can assist you for a bit."
"Um, that's fine. I need to check on Jasmine anyway. She's still recovering from being a kangaroo. See you two later." Samey hurried outside. "You know I was doing perfectly fine," Sol told Dawn as he turned on a little burner.
"There's something you should know," Dawn informed him. "I fear that we may soon have a crisis on our hands." She looked around before whispering, "A demon crisis."
"Demons?" Sol thought. "Hmm, it could explain Melody's weird behavior last night. But weren't most of them sealed away in the Underworld? And the boss was slain years ago?"
"I believe someone is trying to open up that evil. When I went on my nature walk earlier, I could sense the faint presence of demonic activity near an oak tree. Plus, the...pet Phoebe brought back only furthers this."
"How so?"
"If memory serves me right, the Wrath Demon Fen-Ryu was infamous for his abusive training of chupacabras. It would explain why one is here."
"Well, Phoebe seems to have that 'puppy' under control right now. But if the Wrath guy is here...could there be more?"
"That's what I'm afraid of. It might even get to where the demons will try to resurrect their master. We must prevent that from happening."
"I think the best way to do that is to keep them from getting the stuff. I know a resurrection ain't some incantation you can say. You need items. But what items do you need to bring a demon back from the dead?"
"I recall finding something about this when I was first researching demons. It's supposed to be this doomsday prophecy and what's required for it." Dawn pulled out an old scroll and passed it to Sol. "The problem is that each line was written in a different language," she explained as Sol looked over the scroll. "Perhaps you might be able to help?"
"There's one line in French I can make out," Sol noted. "It says the ritual needs 'blood of monster unnatural clothed in human skin'. What the hell does that even mean?"
"I believe it means you'll need blood from a person who has turned into a monster, and I don't think any exists on the island. We might be in the clear after all."
"Maybe..." Unknown to the duo, a shadow slithered away from the window.
Confessional: Sol (Frogs of Death)
"I think there's more to this demon stuff than Dawn's letting on. But right now, I need to make sure there's a close eye on our wolves. The demons might try to extract blood from them, and they won't be gentle."
Confessional: Luna (Toxic Rats)
She giggled. "Oh, those two are such idiots. 'It's not on the island.' How wrong they are!"

Later that night, Dave had a pillow over his ears. "Hello, there," Rodney spoke as he faced a mirror. "Hi. Rodney I am. I mean, I am Rodney. Name, you me and..."
"Will you keep it down?" Dave groaned. "I'm trying to sleep here!"
"What are you even doing?" Greg asked.
"Nikki recommended that talking to a mirror helps with speaking nerves," Rodney explained. "She said it helped overcome her stage fright when she started singing."
"Oh. You two seem pretty close."
"Yeah. But just as friends." Rodney winced as he heard Sky grumbling from the other side of the cabin. "What's with Sky?" he wondered.
"She's been like that ever since the end of the last challenge," Dave sighed. "Between her, Destiny and you, it's going to be impossible to get a good night's rest."
"Destiny? Why include her?"
"Wait a moment..." Greg paused. The boys were suddenly knocked back by a blast of rock music. "What is that?!" Rodney shouted.
"Hi, guys!" Destiny exclaimed as she danced inside the bedroom while listening to the music on her headphones. "Nothing like some Queen to get that blood flowing, am I right?" Dave simply stormed over to her, and Greg and Rodney winced as they heard the music screech to a stop and a CRASH coming afterwards.
Confessional: Destiny (Confused Bears)
She now had the headphones tied in a knot above her head. "Did Davie seriously have to wreck my jams? If he wasn't a Queen fan, he should've just said something."
Confessional: Dave (Confused Bears)
"Yeah, I'm not a happy camper when I'm sleep-deprived."

Over at the spa hotel, things were much more livelier. "Awesome party, Geoff!" Harold exclaimed as he danced to the techno music.
"Figured we were overdue for one," Geoff shrugged.
"Hey, look who's over by the punch," DJ whispered to him as he pointed to Bridgette and Dawn talking. "Why don't you ask her to dance with you?"
"Yeah! Yo, Bridgette! Wanna hit the dance floor?"
"Um...sure," Bridgette shrugged. "I could burn off this punch energy." As she took Geoff's hand, the duo were suddenly knocked over by Lightning. "Aw, yeah!" he rallied. "Time for the Lightning to shine!"
"Hey, watch it!" Bridgette complained. "You could've broken something. And besides, Geoff and I were here first."
"Sorry, Surfer Girl, but you gotta wait you turn."
"Come on, dude," Geoff told Lightning. "Let me and her boogie for a bit first."
"Time out!" Anthony cut in as he stepped between them. "I've got a way to solve this: how about you mateys compete in a dance-off for the floor? The sea duo versus the Lightning."
"Two against one sounds a bit unfair," DJ pointed out.
"Hmm, good point. Lightning, you want a partner, too?"
"I'll do it," Duncan volunteered. "My moves are so wicked that they're illegal."
"Welcome to Team Lightning," Lightning replied.
"Alright!" Anthony exclaimed. "Hit it, DJ!"
"What 'it' am I hitting?" DJ asked. He heard a cough before turning to see Harold, now wearing aviator shades and standing behind a stereo. He pressed a button and some different music started playing. Lightning started to moonwalk while Duncan did some spins on the floor. "It was like lightning," the player played, "Everybody was frightening
"And the music was soothing
"And they all started grooving
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!" Geoff and Bridgette clapped to the beat as they stepped towards Lightning and Duncan before they started to dance. "And the man in the back said 'Everyone attack' and it turned into a ballroom blitz!" the player played. "And the girl in the corner said 'Boy, I want to warn you it'll turn into a ballroom blitz'!
"Ballroom blitz
"Ballroom blitz
"Ballroom blitz
"Ballroom blitz."
"What's going on here?" Scott asked as he walked over to Anthony.
"They had a little dispute on the dancefloor on who should dance," Anthony whispered, "So I suggested a dance-off to settle. And technically, both sides won out."
"Nice moves, dude." A floor below, Courtney was struggling to read in the library. "Keep it down!" she shouted.
"If those idiots wanted to throw a stupid party," Julia grumbled from her bed, "They should've done it before nightfall!" She noticed Bowie walking down the hall. "What are you up to?" she inquired.
"I'm going to join the party, of course," Bowie replied. "Surely an influencer like yourself would be there."
"No, I'm trying to be fully rested for the next challenge. I can't do that with all that NOISE! Make them turn it down!"
"Even if I tell them, it's not like they'll listen. Good luck." Julia just groaned before pulling the covers over her head. Bowie then sneaked away to another room and locked the door behind him. "Time to get a leg up in this game," he muttered as he pulled out the stolen phone and charger.
Confessional: Bowie (Toxic Rats)
"Now that I have MK's phone all fully charged, I can finally put it to good use. I've looked at a few groups of confessionals so far and some of the results surprised even me. Here's one of Alejandro." He pressed play on the phone. "Lara's fall was simple yet effective," he boasted. "Simply use her biggest strength against her. And that play of Heather eliminating Eva...I must admit it's ingenious."
"Looks like Julia and Scott aren't the only one making sneaky plays. Perhaps..." He started to give a sly chuckle. "Bowie has an idea going on."

Early the next morning, Millie was suddenly awoken by being pushed out of bed. "Time for some more training!" Priya announced.
"So early?" Millie groaned. "The sun isn't even out yet."
"You could've waited until everyone was up," Sky yawned as she and Sugar sat up in bed. "Please keep it down."
"Let's go, Millie!" Priya rallied as she dragged Millie out the door. Sky just rolled over in her bed. "Might as well get breakfast while I'm up," Sugar shrugged as she got out of bed. She then noticed an odd envelope pinned to the door. "For me?" she gasped with excitement. As the minutes flew by, more people got the strange letters. "A note?" Valerie thought.
"Wonder what this thing says," Jo inquired as she opened the envelope.
"'Meet at the Dock of Shame...'" Keith read off while leaning on the twisted tree.
"'For an offer to benefit your position in the game...'" Scarlett muttered.
"'Doesn't matter if your reputation's in the toilet...'" Heather continued.
"'Or if your mind's completely twisted...'" Julia said as she and Luna looked at the note.
"'All EVIL welcome...'" Max happily read off.
"'No matter how obvious or concealed it may be...'" Echo read off with a stunned expression.
"'Just make sure you aren't followed...'" Alejandro noted.
"'For any leaks to the others will render or discussion moot,'" Samey finished. The selected campers started to head to the dock. "Very peculiar..." Bryan thought as he saw Heather strolling outside. "What is a girl like Heather doing up at this hour? Hmm...where is my bush costume at?"
"Will someone tell me what's going on?" Heather demanded as she, Jo, Valerie, Julia, Luna, Keith, Samey, Alejandro, Scarlett, Max, Echo and Sugar stood on the Dock of Shame. "I didn't agree to wake at this early hour for the guy who sent the note to be late!"
"Maybe the mead I slipped into the punch did him in," Luna commented out-loud.
"What the hell is mead?" Keith inquired. However, Luna just flashed him a wide grin. "I see you're all here," Bowie noted as he and a yawning Scott approached them.
"You two?" Julia wondered with disbelief.
"He invited me," Scott informed the group while pointing to Bowie.
"So you sent the notes to us, Bowie?" Alejandro asked.
"You've got ten seconds to explain yourself before all hell breaks out on you," Valerie warned.
"Then I'll get to the point," Bowie explained. "Everyone here, including myself, have one thing in common: we are all villains." Echo, Alejandro and Samey widened their eyes in shock. "Or at least did some morally questionable strategic moves," Bowie said.
"Can't argue with that," Scarlett shrugged.
"I think you might be mistaken," Echo meekly spoke up. "I'm not a villain at all."
"I have my doubts, too," Scott scoffed. "She's as evil as a daisy."
"Villain or not, why did you drag us here?" Valerie asked Bowie.
"I propose an offer," Bowie stated. "If we can put aside our...differences and team up, we can be an unstoppable force."
"Align myself with the damsels that transformed me into a statue?" Max argued. "I refuse!"
"I am so not working with you, Bowie," Julia decided.
"Yeah," Jo agreed. "This team hooey is chafing my butt."
"I can see the logistics behind it," Alejandro put in. "The different infighting can actually be the perfect cover, because who would ever suspect mortal enemies working together?"
"Alejandro's assumptions are valid," Scarlett agreed. "As much as I would personally like to see Jo gone, a game such as this requires logical thinking over emotional impulse."
"We can be as tight as junebugs," Sugar happily added while hugging Valerie and Scarlett.
"Not that close," Valerie gagged.
"Alliance!" Luna cheered. "The Villains' Alliance! Ooh, we can get that bush, too!"
"Are you sure Crazy Girl should be in this?" Scott questioned as Luna wrestled with a bush.
"Every team needs a wild card," Bowie explained, "And she can be easily disposable should the need arise."
"But why all the secrecy?" Samey asked.
"Because it'll create targets on our backs if the others catch wind of this," Keith scoffed. "And here I thought you were the smart twin."
"I AM the smart one! It's my sister that needs to get some brains."
"So it's agreed, then?" Bowie told the group. "Villains' Alliance?"
"I suppose a little assistance might be needed after Beth the Traitor left," Heather reluctantly replied.
"Glad you agree, amiga," Alejandro said with a seductive tone. He gave Heather a kiss on the hand, making her recoil in disgust. "I wouldn't mind an extra safety net," Valerie commented. "You've got a deal, Bowie."
"I will put up with the less intellectual-gifted if it means I can advance in the game," Scarlett inputted.
"And you cannot have a villains' alliance without someone truly EVIL as I!" Max declared.
"Whatever," Samey shrugged, trying to mask her nervousness.
"Only because I don't wanna upset you guys," Echo informed the group. "I hate to imagine what would happen if I refused."
"Eh, what the hell?" Keith shrugged.
"You guys seem slightly more competent than most of my teammates," Jo noted.
"I'm already partnered with Bowie," Scott said. "And some of you guys sound pretty fun."
"FUN!" Luna exclaimed as she jumped on Scott's shoulders. "The bush refused, so I left him a consolation prize."
"I'm all for this if Little Miss Singy Pants gets gone!" Sugar cheered. Everyone turned to Julia. "Oh, fine!" she gave in. "But doublecross me and you'll regret it."
"Should we plan out our first move?" Bowie suggested. "Who's first to go?"
"Disregarding former traitors," Max inputted, "We must be rid of the heroine Phoebe."
"NO!" Keith lashed back before backtracking. "She's already in my palm. A pawn."
"Shane and Anne-Maria are on my side, too," Valerie informed them, "And people like Ethan, Tyler and Lindsay are all too easy to manipulate. We have to target someone who won't sway over to us."
"Like who?" Echo gulped. "Bryan?"
"He's a harmless nobody. Mike, Paul, Leshawna, Gwen...they're too smart for their own good."
"What about the big dogs like Lacey or Jasmine?" Scott pointed out. "If they make it to the merge, they'll be unstoppable."
"Not all of the challenges will require brute strength," Scarlett informed him. "I propose each of us focuses on one individual to work on for the long run. My target is currently Sierra."
"I think I can get into Helen's head," Heather smugly said.
"I'll do the same with Tyler," Alejandro agreed. "Bowie, you're close with Anthony. Can you convince him to target someone other Julia?"
"It'll be tricky," Bowie admitted, "But I'll try."
"I've got Austin already," Julia said. "I think by-the-books Courtney could be useful."
"Soda Sipper is just asking to be tricked," Jo reasoned.
"I'll go for Sky!" Sugar exclaimed.
"A girl who thinks big," Scott complimented. "Impressive. I'll do Zoey."
"No way!" Samey protested. "I'll do Zoey! Pick someone else!"
"Uh, okay. I'll do Lightning."
"Jasmine seems a bit weaker recently," Valerie noted. "Perfect for me to slip in. And perhaps Luna can somehow sway...anyone to her side."
"Brick," Keith stated.
"Perhaps I can force Lucas to perform a face-heel turn," Max declared. "But Echo, since you brought him up, you can make Bryan bow to the side of EVIL!"
"Uh, I-I-I guess," Echo stammered. "Uh, we better go before anyone knows we're gone."
"That's why I called the meeting so early," Bowie boasted. "The only ones up at this hour are Priya and Millie, and they're currently walking in the opposite direction."
"Smart," Jo noted. "Still, we should start heading back before anyone starts a role count."
"Then the first meeting of the Villains' Alliance is finished. Good doing business with you." Everyone started heading back to the cabins. Over by the bush, a tattered Bryan crawled out. "Villains' Alliance, huh?" he thought. "Interesting..." He froze in fear as he saw a scorpion crawling down his head. "Luna's parting gift, I assume? Please tell me you're gentle."
Later that morning, Priya started walking down the tall cliff. "What a workout," she commented. "Hopefully my return time will be faster than last time since I'm not carrying someone down while dehydrated."
"I thought you had your own water," Millie moaned as she dragged behind Priya. The two girls soon reached the bottom. "Hey, didn't the Rats win last time?" Millie wondered.
"And we will beat them and come out on top in the next challenge!" Priya declared.
"No. I ask because someone's in the Rat cabin. Look." Millie pointed to some light inside the Rat cabin. "You open the door while I grab the guy," Priya whispered. "Ready?"
"Uh..." Millie replied with uncertainty.
"On three. One...two...three!" Millie opened the Rats' door before Priya jumped at the figure inside. "Gotcha!" Priya declared.
"OW!" Sam cried out as his arms were pinned back. "You're twisting my elbows!"
"Sam?" Millie thought as she looked in. "Priya, stop! It's only Sam!" Priya released her grip on Sam. "Why are you even here?" Millie asked. "Your team won the last challenge."
"I just wanted a little quiet place to play my game," Sam weakly explained. "The party they threw last night threw my concentration out the window."
"What game?" Sam showed Millie his video game console. "Is that a film noir game?" Millie gasped with excitement. "I love film noir!"
"Film what?" Priya asked with confusion.
"It's a genre of movies popular in the forties and fifties. The movie is in black-and-white, hence the name. They also have hard-boiled detectives, femme fatales, and the intricate plot that unfolds on the screen."
"Sounds like you know quite a bit about that genre," Sam noted.
"Yeah, I really like it."
"Ahem," Priya cut off. "Millie, we still have some more training to do."
"But we just got back from that long walk," Millie protested. "Can't we rest for now?"
"Why don't you guys just go check on your teammates?" Sam suggested as he gathered his games. "I think I remember seeing Sugar walking towards the dock early this morning."
"The dock?" Priya thought. "Why would she go there? Do you think she was trying to meet up and form alliances with someone?"
"Or maybe she simply wanted to go for a swim," Millie reasoned. "It makes sense."
"I'd side more with Priya," Sam defended. "Sugar was fully clothed and she never went swimming before. Still, an alliance sounds like a stretch. I mean, it's Sugar. The only person I know who would willingly work with her is Austin."
"That must be it!" Priya realized. "Millie, let's go somewhere a tad more private to discuss this further."
"But it's just Sam here," Millie pointed out. However, Priya's blank stare made her reconsider. "Um, actually, I think it's close to breakfast." The two girls walked off. "Bye!" Sam told them with a wave.
Confessional: Sam (Toxic Rats)
"Millie and Priya are such great people to be around. Sure, Priya can be a tad intense at times, but she definitely means well. Ah, I wish she was on my team instead of Luna or Julia. Hey, maybe Priya and Millie might be willing to help me out with that! I know it's a stretch, but it's better than nothing."

In the Frog cabin, Phoebe was brushing Barry's fur with a hairbrush. "I hope I'm not being too rough," she told him, "But you have a lot of bad knots here. Just trying to untangle it."
"I still can't believe you found him wandering the woods," Sierra noted. "What is he, again?"
"A puppy, of course. Can't you tell?" Barry let out a bark. "It sounds like one," Sierra reasoned, "But it doesn't look like one. I'd better-" She started to reach for her pocket. "Oh, I forgot my phone's still in pieces. My hand feels so empty without it!"
"Not to worry," Scarlett assured her as she walked in, "For I have constructed a new one." She passed Sierra a brand-new phone. "YAY!" Sierra squealed as she hugged it. "Internet, never leave me!" Scarlett noticed Phoebe staring at her. "Doesn't your new pet need to be housebroken?" she inquired.
"Oh, you're right!" Phoebe realized while picking Barry up. "We better make sure of that, Barry. Maybe coach can help us. And Brick." She walked outside. "Perfect," Scarlett said as her attention returned to Sierra. "Now we can..." She noticed Sierra still gushing over the new phone. Scarlett snapped her fingers in front of her face. "Oh, sorry," Sierra apologized. "Uh, what were you saying?"
"I wish to offer an alliance proposal," Scarlett explained. "If you, Cameron and myself work together, we can possibly reach the finale. It most certainly sounds more advantageous than risking it on your own, does it not?"
"You do make a good point...but is it okay if I think on it some?"
"I suppose such a decision requires careful consideration, but my offer does have a time restraint. I will require an answer very soon."
Confessional: Scarlett (Frogs of Death)
"With Sierra on my side, the Villains' Alliance will become slightly stronger. But compared to the majority of the others, it's clear that I'm one of the more competent members. After all, I can do what the others will no doubt fail to do: be transparent with their allies as much as they can. With that, the allies will stay more loyal."
Confessional: Sierra (Frogs of Death)
"I'm kinda iffy about the alliance thing. While my research so far tells me she's super smart, she's also got a temper. Just look at the Truth or Scare challenge!"

Over by the intern tent, Yulisa was writing something on a clipboard when she noticed Bryan walking over with a bandaged nose. "Oh, you poor thing!" she gasped. "What happened to you?"
"A, uh, bug bit me on the nose," Bryan nasally explained. "Don't worry. I'll recover."
"So any news regarding all the bad guys?" Unknown to the duo, Echo was watching the duo from outside the tent. "I think I might've heard something about the bad guys teaming up," Bryan informed Yulisa, to Echo's shock. "Unfortunately, I don't know who or how many. Perhaps Beth and her friends could...? Oh, I don't know."
"I'm sure we'll think of something," Yulisa assured him. Echo silently slipped away.
Confessional: Echo (Screaming Gophers)
"So that's how Bryan wants to play it, huh? Well, I have a little surprise for him."
End Confessional
"I wish I could talk more," Yulisa told Bryan, "But Chris wants us interns at a 'meeting'."
"The way you say 'meeting' sounds like a bad thing," Bryan noted.
"It's just an excuse for him to put us through hell. Testing dangerous challenges, giving us expired food to eat that's guaranteed to give us food poisoning, hardly letting us get any sleep...it's just so...ARGH!" Yulisa then stormed off. "I am so glad I'm not an intern myself," Bryan muttered.
"Lousy McLean," Yulisa grumbled as she walked. She then bumped into a large figure. "Uh, sorry, I-" She gasped as she saw a humanoid tiger staring back at her. "What the-?!" she stammered in shock. "Who...? What?"
"I'LL ASK THE QUESTIONS, PONY-TAIL!" Fen-Ryu shouted back. "AND YOU BETTER EXPLAIN WHY YOU BUMPED INTO THE MIGHTY FEN-RYU!"
"I didn't see you. I'm sorry. Please don't hurt me!"
"GOOD ANSWER! AND LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING! WHY ARE YOU PUTTING UP WITH YOUR BOSS'S SHIT?"
"Um, because it's my job? If I could change things, I would."
"YOU WON'T BY ACTING LIKE THAT! CHANNEL THAT ANGER YOU HAVE AGAINST HIM!" Fen-Ryu let out a roar. "Whoa," Yulisa choked out.
"NOW WILL YOU TAKE IT FROM HIM?" Fen-Ryu demanded as he stared at the intern. "HUH? WILL YOU?"
"N-no."
"WHAT WAS THAT?!"
"I said no."
"WHAT WAS THAT, WEAKLING?!"
"I SAID NO!" Yulisa shouted as a red glaze covered her eyes for a brief second. "I will NOT let Chris McLean torment me or any of my fellow interns again! Hell, not even CHEF deserves to serve under him!" Fen-Ryu simply passed her a large stick. "YAH!" she screamed as she ran off.
"MUCH BETTER!" Fen-Ryu boasted. Later, most of the interns were inside a small shack. "How come I haven't noticed this place before?" Dean wondered.
"That's because McLean only built it a few days ago," Karol informed him.
"Yulisa," Derrick muttered.
"Huh, he's right," Oliver realized. "Where is she? She's usually the first to these meetings."
"Everyone pipe down," Chris instructed as he and Chef walked over. "Let me tell you your assignments." He chuckled. "I hope no one's allergic to rhinoceroses...or fire...or poison, smallpox, gluten..." Most of the interns shared worried looks. "Formaldehyde," Chris continued, "Tree bark-" He was cut off by the door slamming open, revealing Yulisa wielding her stick and her face covered in war paint. "Found her," Stan said.
"Thank you, Captain Obvious," Dean remarked. "But what's with the psycho look?"
"You're late, intern," Chris scolded. "Guess that'll dock you a month's pay, so-"
"RIOT!" Yulisa cried out. "REVOLUTION!" She lunged at Chris and started a brawl. "Whoa," Stan gulped as he, Dean, Oliver and Derrick hid behind Karol. "Now I know why hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."
"And yet you cowards decide to hide behind me," Karol pointed out.
"Because you currently aren't scorned," Dean nervously explained, "Thank God."
"Get off of me!" Chris shouted. "Chef, DO SOMETHING!" Chef simply sipped on a cup of coffee. A few moments later, Yulisa was cackling as she held a bound-up Chris above her head. "VICTORY!" she declared. "A NEW DAWN FOR THE INTERNS!"
"What now?" Oliver whispered to the others.
"Men, Karol, Chef, follow my lead!" A short time later back at the main lodge, most of the campers were eating breakfast. "Wow," Tyler muffled between bites, "Chef's cooking has really started to improve. This gruel doesn't taste half-bad."
"That's because it looks more like oatmeal," Rose noted.
"Hmm..." Priya thought as she eyed her meal with a suspicious look.
"You should probably eat that," Millie recommended. "Who knows when we might get a decent, unspoiled meal again?"
"Something this good-looking has to be tainted with sleeping gas or laxatives or-"
"Priya, if the food was tainted, we would be feeling the effects now. But we're all fine. You should eat before-" Sugar swiped Priya's bowl and gulped down the contents. "Someone else takes it," Millie sighed. She looked down at her half-full bowl. "Here," she offered as she slid it to Priya. "You can finish mine. Don't want you hungry for the challenge, right?"
"Aw, thanks," Priya replied. She quickly began to scarf down the food. "Attention, campers," Oliver announced over the loudspeakers. "After you finish breakfast, please report to the clearing for your next challenge. And yes, I know I'm not Chris. We'll explain once you arrive."
"We'd better hurry," Priya advised her teammates at the table. "Let's rally everyone up and race over there. We might get an advantage."
"Good thinking," Alejandro told her. "You really do have extraordinary skills when it comes to this game." Priya got a slight blush as she gave a nervous laugh. "Right," Ethan said as he stood up and headed to the door, "Let's forge on and-" He opened the door and gave a startled cry when he saw Paul and Melody in the doorway. "Calm down," Melody advised. "It's just us."
"Yeah, Ethan," Paul added. "We didn't mean to frighten you."
"Where have you two been?" Destiny asked.
"Melody suggested getting some fruit to go with breakfast. Everyone okay with you guys?"
"Yeah," Ethan quickly replied. "Totally. Just fine."
"Cool. Apple?" Ethan screamed again as Paul held up an apple slice on a plastic knife.
Confessional: Ethan (Confused Bears)
"I can't believe it! I'm scared of Paul! After what happened in the last challenge... But he wasn't himself. The Paul I know is still there...right?"
Confessional: Paul (Confused Bears)
"Ethan's been acting really off recently, like something's bugging his mind. I hope he's okay."
Confessional: Destiny (Confused Bears)
"I don't get why Galahad's making a big fuss over this. So what if the guy's half-dog? I love dogs! And I know he can sometimes get a little screepy, but he's still nice deep down."

Most of the campers were now gathered in the clearing. "Whoa," Helen noted as she saw most of the Rats dragging themselves over, looking exhausted. "You guys must've partied something fierce last night."
"Oh, it was totally epic!" Geoff chuckled.
"My legs are still sore from that dancing," Bridgette moaned. "And my head's spinning."
"Maybe it was the punch," Anthony suggested. "I thought it smelled funny."
"Nah, dude," Geoff shrugged. "It just takes some time to get used to hard-core partying."
"Good morning, everybody," Oliver greeted as he, Dean, Karol, Stan and Chef approached the group. "Are you ready for the next challenge?"
"I believe Chris is the one that's supposed to be announcing the challenges," Topher informed him.
"Well, he's taking a bit of a...rest right now," Dean explained. "So in the meantime, Chef and us are in charge."

"Crap."

"Originally," Oliver began, "Chris was planning to do a challenge involving things like fire and poison. But we changed it to be much more safer."
"Boo!" Luna pouted. "I wanted flames!"
"Tough luck, Crazy Girl," Karol whipped back. "Now be quiet as they explain the challenge we call...The Interns' Revenge."
"Sounds kinda dangerous," Zoey thought.
"Nah," Dean assured her. "It's actually very straightforward: just don't get hit with these tranquilizer balls." He held up a small pink ball. "If you're hit with these, you're out."
"Oh, so it's gonna be an obstacle course with these balls flying at us from all directions," Priya reasoned.
"No, Miss Jump-To-Conclusions. The catch is that Chef, Karol, Stan, Oliver and I will be chasing you down with these pellets. Think about it like the last challenge, except you guys are deer while we are the hunters."
"The first team to lose all its members will be voting someone out tonight," Chef continued. "Y'all get a ten minute head start, then you better start praying to your mamas that we don't find you. Any questions?"
"Actually..." Phoebe spoke up.
"Go!" Chef blew a horn, with nearly everyone darting off immediately. Phoebe's eyes shrank up when she saw she was all alone. "Wait up!" she shouted as she ran off.
"That girl's a goner," Dean muttered as he shook his head. Back at the shack, Chris was struggling to free himself from the ropes binding him to a chair. "Okay, prank's over, you guys," he said. "Now could you loosen these ropes?"
"You're not going anywhere, McLean," Yulisa sternly told him from outside. "You're no longer in charge of this place."
"Uh, I am in charge. I own this show!"
"Not anymore. Your reign of tyranny is OVER! You're better off rotting like the scum you are!" Yulisa stormed off. "Hey!" Chris shouted from inside the locked-up shack. "Come back here! I demand you release me! NOW!"
"How exactly do we go by this?" Echo panted as she and the other Gophers ran ahead. "Won't we be all taken out by sticking together?"
"Girl makes a point," Leshawna agreed. "Everyone go in pairs so you have someone watching your back. Gwen, you with me?"
"It'll do," Gwen sighed.
"Me and Lace are a duo," Sarah volunteered. "Lindsay can go with Helen."
"I suppose Lucas could be a useful meat shield if needed," Max thought out-loud. He was slapped in the head by Lucas. "Idiot," Heather muttered before saying, "I'll stick with Owen. Bryan, go with Echo."
"I was hoping to be partnered with her," Bryan replied. "Guess Carly, Trent, Rose and Beth can sort the rest by themselves. But, uh, wed better continue running before our head start's gone."
"Let's go, guys!" Helen rallied. "We might win this one!" The group split up. "Let me guess," Rose remarked as she stared at Carly and Trent. "You two together."
"I was actually thinking we can go on our own," Carly suggested. "I think I'll hold all of you back some."
"You sure about that?" Trent asked.
"I don't mind it at all," Beth replied. "I do wanna prove that I don't need Heather's crappy alliance to do well in this game! See you later, guys. Don't get hit!" She ran off, with Carly going in another direction. Trent and Rose eyed each other before parting ways.
"Hey, Sky," Sugar greeted as she jogged next to the Olympian. "How's it going?"
"Not now, Sugar," Sky replied. "I'm trying to keep my focus. We gotta win this one, especially against Shane. I can't believe he's trying to flirt with Ella now."
"Oh, he's doing that to everyone."
"What?!"
"He told me my left eye is prettier than my right, said Priya was perfectly sweaty and liked Millie's frizz head."
"Oh...Well, he won't get away with it." Sky dashed off, unaware of Sugar's evil grin.

Most of the campers were trying to keep running. Alejandro decided to hide underneath the lake. DJ and Scott tried to hide in a tree. Sierra, Cameron, Scarlett, Anne-Maria and Valerie were boarding themselves inside their cabin. "Are you sure this will work?" Cameron asked.
"There's a 68.53% chance of success," Scarlett informed him. "Most likely, Chef and the others will spend their time after moving targets."
"And these shoes ain't made for running," Anne-Maria quipped.
"Your ten minutes are up, suckers!" Chef announced on the loudspeakers. "Time to hunt you pigs down!" He laughed before the loudspeakers were cut off. "That doesn't sound good," Sierra gulped. "I heard Chef has military training!"
"Just stay as quiet as possible to maximize our success rate," Scarlett told her. The group heard some footsteps and ducked down. Chef sniffed the air as he walked by the cabins. "Hairspray," he muttered. He pulled out a small grenade and threw it into each of the cabins. The grenades exploded, releasing a pink cloud. "Too...thick," Cameron coughed out. "Can't...breathe..." He and the girls passed out. "Amateurs," Chef chuckled as he saw them all asleep. "Now the other cabins." He saw Helen and Lindsay asleep in the Gopher cabin and Sam in the Rat cabin. However, he saw no one in the Bear cabin and decided to leave. "Is he gone?" someone whispered from under the bunk. Dave and Shawn, both wearing gas masks, popped their heads out from underneath the bed. "Nice thinking with the gas masks," Dave complimented.
"You always have to be prepared for a gas attack in the apocalypse," Shawn replied. "Extra-good in filtering the air so you only get oxygen."
"Still no sign of Chef and the other interns," Bryan noted as he and Echo ran. "No sign of anyone, as a matter of fact."
"It's for the best," Echo shrugged. "I'm better off working alone."
"Oh, really? Yet you still decide to join that villain alliance."
"So that bat-shit insane girl was right! You were listening inside the bush."
"That alliance is basically a powder keg, and all it needs is one single spark for everything to explode."
"You really think you can take us down?"
"It's already set. I have connections to two villains, one of whom has an alliance of three already."
"You might wanna recheck that because Heather's alliance is completely broken."
"What?!" Bryan gasped with shock. "No! You're just trying to mess with me."
"It's the truth, rat lips," Echo sneered. "Why else would Beth turn her own gun on Heather in the last challenge? And don't think I don't know your connections to the interns." Bryan simply had a stunned expression. "Well-" he spoke up but he was spun around by Echo. He was hit in the chest, putting him to sleep. "You missed, Danny!" Echo taunted. She ran as she carried Bryan with her. "Damn little witch," Dean grumbled as he chased after her.
"You can do this, Beth," Beth told herself as she ran. "You don't need Heather. You can win this challenge for your team."
"You talk to you, too?" Luna asked as she hopped down from a tree. "No, Luna, be quiet. Luna is talking to Braces."
"What are you even talking about?"
"I wanna help you. Please, please, please?"
Confessional: Beth (Screaming Gophers)
"After what happened with Heather, I have to be a little more careful on who I cooperate with. Luna's from the other team and I hardly know a thing about her."

"How exactly do you plan on helping me?" Beth inquired.
"I can make sure Heather's booted next," Luna replied. "You hate her, Leshawna hates her, Gothie hates her, tall Blondie hates her..."
"Okay, I get the idea. And having Heather gone will make things easier for everyone at camp."
"Great! I'll make sure Heather gets taken down...BUT I want you to do something in return." Luna passed Beth a cloth and syringe. "Could you maybe get Trent's blood in that?" Luna asked. "I heard somebody was all 'I wanna study this' and I was 'Yeah, I help. Luna likes helping' and somebody was-"
"What's the cloth for?" Beth wondered.
"A little relaxant thingie. Trent may not like needles." Luna twirled her fingers around. "Em ot netsil," she told Beth as a purple cloud surrounded the duo.
"I will listen," Beth replied with a monotone voice. She walked off with the cloth and syringe while Luna flashed her wide grin.

"The charming Topher is skilled enough to slip by the fury-fueled Chef," Topher quietly narrated as he tip-toed through the woods. "He ducks behind the rocks...runs as quick as a bullet..." CRASH! "And crashes into a building," he groaned after colliding with the shack. "Huh? What is this doing here? And why is there so many locks on the door?"
"GET ME OUT OF HERE, CHEF!" Chris shouted from inside. "That intern is going to PAY!"
"Chris! So that's it. Rest, my ass! They kidnapped you and locked you up!"
"That intern is out there ruining my show! She can't do that! I own her!"
"The show," Topher gasped. "Um, could you excuse me for a moment?" He turned to the camera. "The teams are slowly getting picked off by Chef and the interns," he narrated. "Will anyone stand a chance against them? Will someone use another as a shield? And will Chris be freed from inside this shack? Hopefully that last one comes soon. But these other questions will be answered after the break here on Total...Drama...I-"
"HURRY UP AND GET ME OUT OF HERE!" Chris shouted.
"Working on it, Chris!"

"Thanks for helping me," Bridgette told Geoff as she leaned on his shoulders. "I feel like I can barely walk on my own."
"No probs, Bridge," Geoff shrugged. "I don't mind at all." The duo noticed Ezekiel running around. "Oh, hey, Bridgette," he greeted. "Good day for, uh, hunting. No, no, you don't like that. I, uh..." He looked down on the ground and pulled out some dandelions. "Flowers? Girls like flowers, right?"
"Are you trying to tell Bridge you like her?" Geoff asked.

"Okay...awkward."

"Wow," Bridgette nervously told Ezekiel, "This is nice and all, but...um...well, you're not really my type. Sorry."
"Oh," Ezekiel moaned as the flowers fell from his fingers. "Are you sure?" Before Bridgette could answer, Ezekiel was hit in the back with a tranquilizer ball. "Sorry, guys," Stan told Bridgette and Geoff, "But this is the challenge." He fired again at Bridgette, but Geoff pushed her out of the way and took the hit. "Geoff?" Bridgette gasped. She was quickly hit and passed out beside him.

"This gets tiring very quickly," Greg panted as he ran with Destiny, Ella and Rodney. "Should we stop for a second?"
"I hope everyone else is doing okay," Ella breathed out as the group stopped.
"Yeah," Rodney thought, "Like Helga and Nikki..."
"Don't you mean us Bears?" Greg pointed out. "Do recall that you're no longer on that team."
"Well, uh...hey, what's that?" Rodney pointed to Chef's jeep parked nearby. "Precious..." Destiny gasped with amazement.
"Oh, no," Greg protested as he pulled Destiny back. "You are NOT touching that jeep."
"Aw, Greggy. Please?"
"Don't give me those puppy eyes. It won't work this time."
"I still don't get what's the big deal," Rodney put in. "It's just a jeep. Why can't she drive it?"
"Rodney..." Greg warned.
"Oh, thank you, guys!" Destiny exclaimed. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She gave Greg a small kiss on the cheek, making him pass out. She picked him up and placed him in the back seat of the jeep. "You coming or not?" she asked Ella and Rodney as she got behind the wheel.
"Oh, could I?" Ella asked.
"Hop in, Cinders." Ella sat on the passenger side and fastened her seatbelt. "I think I have to pass," Rodney decided. "I actually wanted to talk to Sky about some stuff."
"Your loss, big guy," Destiny shrugged. She started the jeep up and sped off. "Right," Rodney told himself. "Gotta find Sky."
"What is taking so long?!" Chris complained from inside the shack.
"These chains are pretty tough," Topher told him as he used a nail file to pick the lock. "And the locks are near impossible to pick. This would be easier with some kind of chain cutters. Hang tight, Chris. I'll be right back." He ran off.
"Still in the clear," Trent muttered as he eyed his surroundings. He heard a slight rustle in the bushes. "Carly? Gwen? Is that you?" The rustling continued. Trent crept slowly to the bush, then pulled back the leaves to find...a bird flying out. "Just a blue jay," Trent breathed out in relief. "Of course. Got worked up over nothing." A cloth suddenly went over his mouth as a figure pulled out a syringe.
...
A quick montage played of the other campers. Chef kicked the tree DJ and Scott were hiding in, making them fall out. He then quickly fired his tranquilizer balls at them.
...
Gwen and Leshawna were walking with their backs to each other when they stumbled over a trip wire. Karol then swooped in from the trees and knocked them out with tranquilizer balls.
...
Jo was running from Oliver and blocking his shots with a trash can lid. However, she quickly collided with a large bear, making her run back right towards Oliver. He then fired at her leg, making her skid to the ground before passing out.
...
Zee was relaxing by a rock and sipping a soda when Chef spied him from above. He shot at the soda can, coating it in a pink powder. After Zee took a sip, he passed out.

Courtney was running around when she spotted an open tent. She quickly dove in before anyone saw her. "Who even thinks of these barbaric challenges?" she muttered. She noticed a large book sitting on a table. "This is the rulebook for the whole competition," she gasped as she approached it. She started skimming through the pages when she heard another figure enter. "Oh, it's just you," Echo breathed out after skidding to a stop. "I was worried you were Chef. Uh, what is that?"
"A way for me to make sure the game stays fair," Courtney declared.
"So...it's a rulebook?"
"Of course it's a rulebook!"
"Could I see it?" Echo reached for the book but Courtney slapped her hand away. "No way," Courtney scolded. "You might soil the pages."
"Okay, then," Echo replied. "Well, is there a part about interns and contestants working together? I remember hearing one of my teammates working with one." Courtney flipped through the pages. "It's forbidden," she noted. Echo was suddenly knocked out. "Aha!" Dean laughed as he stood in the tent entrance. "I finally got you. And what are you doing in here?"
"Leaving," Courtney answered. She started for the exit but Dean quickly hit her with a tranquilizer ball.
"Sky!" Rodney called out as he ran. "Hello? Sky!"
"Shh!" Sky scolded from a bush. "You're gonna get me caught!"
"No one's here. I wanted to talk to you. You sounded pretty upset last night and right now."
"Oh, it's nothing, except that I learned about that swine Shane's swindling ways getting into every girl's heads! It's bad enough that he took out my sister, but now he's working his slimy words into Ella's head!"
"But...I thought Valerie did that." Sky froze up in surprise. "Wh-what?" she stammered.
"Well, Nikki told me that Valerie might be behind Jane leaving," Rodney informed her. "And she's never been dishonest before. Plus, Shane felt devastated after Jane left."
"Then...all the...oh, I feel horrible! I better find Shane and explain things to him." Sky raced off. "Hope things work out for her," Rodney thought. He screamed as he felt something grab him. "AH! Don't hurt me!"
"It's just me, Rodster," Nikki assured him. "I heard you talking to Sky. You were so great!"
"I-I was? Yeah, I was."
"I'm so proud of you, buddy!" Rodney just laughed with a bashful look on his face. However, the mood was dampened when the duo were hit and passed out.
Brick was jogging ahead when he noticed Phoebe cowering underneath some leaves on the ground. "You know that hiding place will just blow away," he reminded her.
"I couldn't think of anything else," Phoebe admitted. She looked around and got a worried look. "Where's Barry?" she gasped. "He was lying next to me. Did he...? Did he run away?"
"Don't get upset, Phoebe. He probably had to use the bathroom. He must be nearby. I'll help you look." In another area, Keith was lying back on a tree stump when he noticed something furry itching his nose. He looked down to see Barry staring at him. "Ew!" he complained. "I thought we made it clear to that squirt to have you sticking with her. Go!" He picked up Barry but was surprised to hear the chupacabra whine and yelp. "Whoa. I didn't realize my grip was so strong." He looked closer to see a few faint bruises under Barry's fur. "What happened there? You get hurt or something?"
"Unfortunately," a voice replied. Keith yelped in fright as he saw Dawn suddenly standing next to him. "Don't do that, you witch!" he scolded.
"I pity your furred friend here," Dawn said as she stroked Barry's fur. "All the pain he endured from his former master..."
"Wait, wait, wait. Are you telling me someone was beating this dog before Phoebe found him?! Sick bastard! If I see his face..."
"Look no further, for there he is." Dawn pointed to Fen-Ryu in the distance, who was tearing up a tree by the roots. "Hold him," Keith told Dawn as he passed Barry to her. "I've got a score to settle."

Ethan looked around before entering the main lodge. As he closed the door, he felt a hand on his shoulder and gave a startled cry. "Dude, relax!" Paul assured him. "It's just me."
"Oh, right," Ethan nervously breathed out. "Sorry."
"Is everything okay? You're acting more jumpy than usual and I'm starting to get worried for you."
"Well, I, um, I don't know how to explain it. It's just..." The boys froze when they heard the rattle of the doorknob. "Who's there?" Ethan asked as he pulled his shield. "We're armed!"
"You are," Paul noted. "I'm not." He was knocked back by a hit to the chest. "Paul!" Ethan gasped. "Show yourself, you coward!"
"Don't get overdramatic, dude," Dean scoffed as he opened the door. "It's just a simple challenge. Now just hold still and it'll be over quickly." He fired another shot, but Ethan deflected it with his shield. Dean fired again, knocking the shield out of Ethan's hands. "Not even you can make it easy, huh?" Dean thought. "At least I have you now." He aimed his tranquilizer gun when he was suddenly tackled and pinned to the ground by Paul. "Paul?" Ethan gasped with shock.
"I thought I got you square in the chest," Dean told Paul. He winced in pain. "OW! Let go!" He was lifted off of the ground and got a worried look as he stared into Paul's now-yellow eyes. "If you mess with my friends again," Paul threatened with a snarl, "I will be quick to hunt you down and END YOU. You got that? Now beat it!" He tossed Dean out the door and slammed it shut. He then noticed Ethan's frightful look. "You okay?" Paul asked as his eyes returned to normal. "You look shaken."
"You were...pretty scary a moment ago," Ethan gulped.
"What are you...even..." Paul then collapsed. "Paul!" Ethan gasped as he scooped the mechanic up in his arms. "Hold still. I'll take you somewhere safe so you can heal up."
"Carly?" Rose called out while she walked. "Beth? You guys okay?" She noticed a figure lying on the ground with a small pool of blood around the neck. "Hold still!" she assured as she ran over. "I'll help you." The figure slowly opened his eyes, which shined a crimson red.
"Let's see if we can find another one," Stan noted as he walked around. He then heard some music in the distance. "Destiny...perfect." He ran towards the sound. "Gotcha!" However, Stan's confidence quickly changed to fear. "AHHHH!" he screamed as he ran in the other direction. A moment later, the jeep Destiny and Ella were in revved past. "I want it all," the duo sang as Destiny drove, "I want it all
"I want it all
"And I want it now!
"I want it all
"I want it all
"I want it all
"And I want it NOW!" Stan quickly dove into a bush. Meanwhile, Shane was walking along when he spotted a pink flower on the ground. He picked it and twirled it in his fingers. "Shane!" Sky called out as she ran over to him.
"AH!" Shane cried out as he flinched. "Don't hurt me!"
"No, no. I wanted to, um, apologize about my actions regarding you."
"Apologize? For what?"
"I jumped the gun about who you were, especially after Jane left. I ended up blaming you for that."
"Of course you would. It was my fault."
"What? No, no. Rodney explained that to me. It was Valerie, not you."
"R-really? Are you sure?"
"Shane, Rodney can't lie to save his life. It was Valerie. And I'm sorry I got snappy about you liking Ella."
"I-I don't like her. Like, not like-like. It's, like, um..." Shane looked down at the flower in his hand. "Oh, who am I kidding?" he sighed. "But it's just that the last time I felt like this..." He turned to face the sky. "Oh, universe! If this with Ella and I are true, give me a sign!" He and Sky then heard a jeep revving nearby. The duo screamed as they saw it driving towards them. Destiny quickly screeched the jeep to a halt, though the inertia made Greg get flung out of the jeep and crash into a tree. "Hey, guys," Destiny greeted.
"I suggest being careful next time you ask the universe for a sign," Sky quietly told Shane.
"How are you doing?" Ella asked the duo. "Destiny's been taking me out for a lovely drive."
"You're the only one to call Desi's driving lovely," Greg noted. "Now can someone please help me out here?" Stan noticed Greg's predicament before pulling out a marker. "Hey!" Greg complained as Stan started to doodle. "That better not be a target you're drawing there!" Stan backed up a little, revealing a red target on Greg's posterior. "Let's see if I can get a bullseye," he muttered as he aimed his tranquilizer gun. He then screamed in pain as he got hit in the groin, making him slump to the ground. "Nice weapon," Destiny complimented as she picked the tranquilizer gun up.
"Why did you have to hit me in the kiwis?" Stan groaned.
"Because you messed with my Greggy, and it was the only way to get your attention." Destiny pulled Greg out of the tree. "Let's go, gang," she rallied. "We're going hunting."
"Are you sure that's even allowed?" Sky asked.
"Do you really want to cross the speed demon?" Shane pointed out.
"...Yeah, good point."
"Do you wish to join us, Shane?" Ella offered.
"We'll pass," Shane replied. "I like me in one piece."
"Oh. Okay, then. Maybe we can ask someone else. Ooh, maybe Prince Ethan would care to join."
"Prince?" Shane looked over to Destiny, who made a barfing motion. "Uh, yeah," he nervously told Ella. "You do you. Guess I'll, uh, see you later."
"Farewell, friends," Ella replied. She nearly fell over as Destiny drove the jeep off. "That has to hurt, buddy," Sky told Shane, frozen with disbelief.
"Barry!" Phoebe cried out as she and Brick rushed off. "Barry! Where are you, buddy?"
"He must be around here somewhere," Brick reasoned. The duo heard some growls and whines. "Barry!" Phoebe screamed as she ran ahead.
"Wait!" Brick advised as he ran after her. "Hang on!" The duo reached the woods but were shocked to see Keith wrestling Fen-Ryu. "Coach?" Phoebe asked. "Uh, what's with the big kitty?"
"Over here!" Dawn called out from beside an oak tree. "Bring him here!" Brick and Phoebe headed to her while a battered Keith was racing away from Fen-Ryu. "WAIT TIL I GET MY HANDS ON YOU!" Fen-Ryu shouted. "I'LL TEAR YOUR LITTLE-" He was suddenly hit with a green beam that pulled him towards the tree. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" he growled out as he got sucked inside the portal on the tree.
"Sending you back from where you came from," Dawn informed him. "And this time, you'll stay put." She traced her finger around the portal, which sucked Fen-Ryu inside before quickly closing. "Damn witch," Keith breathed out in disbelief. "She's a damn witch." He then saw Barry run over to him. "Barry!" Phoebe exclaimed. "You're okay!"
"Your friend here was protecting Barry from that mean kitty," Dawn told her.
"Sounds pretty sweet," Brick noted.
"Whatever," Keith scoffed.
"My hero," Phoebe gushed as she hugged him, making Keith smile just a little. Barry jumped in between them and started to lick Keith's face. "Easy, boy," he laughed. "Easy!" Dawn smiled at the group before walking off.

Carly was hiding behind a tree stump when she noticed a battered Dean walk past. "That former team of mine is getting crazier by the second," he muttered. "Either that or I haven't noticed until now."
"Both seem like good reasons," Carly replied while she stood up.
"Oh! Hey, you're supposed to be running from me, silly."
"Well, can we at least talk before we do the running bit?" Dean shrugged as he put his tranquilizer gun on his back. "Talk about what, though?" he asked.
"To be honest," Carly began, "I'm kinda worried about you. You've been acting like a bit of a bully recently, especially around Echo."
"I am NOT a bully."
"Then why are you acting like this?"
"It's not like I'm being a jerk to someone that doesn't deserve it. Look, I wish I could tell you more, but Chris McLame put this shitty gag order to prevent me from talking about it."
"Gag order? Then-" Carly was cut short when she heard screaming. "Rose!" she gasped. She quickly grabbed Dean's tranquilizer gun. "Sorry about this!" she told him as she rushed off. She spotted Rose on the ground and struggling to fight off Trent. "I said to stop, you idiot!" Rose shouted. "Back off!" She uttered a choked gasp as Trent just hissed back. He was suddenly hit in the back by a tranquilizer ball, knocking him off. "Rose?" Carly breathed out as she approached the duo. "Is everybody alright?" Her response was some dust in her face. "Don't talk to me!" Rose lashed out. "Ever!" She then started to run off, only to stumble on a rock and tumble down a large hill. "Ow!" she cried out in pain. "My leg!"
"What the hell happened?" Dean inquired as he joined Carly's side.
"We have to take Rose and Carly to get help," Carly told him.
"I said leave me alone!" Rose shouted.
"I can take Trent," Dean said to Carly, "But something tells me that I'm not the only person around here whose tongue is tied up." Carly looked over to Rose, then to Trent. "You're right," she sighed. "I think it's time I owe you and Rose an explanation."
"What kept you?" Heather demanded as Luna skipped over to her and Julia. "I've been waiting."
"Aw, how sweet!" Luna gushed, unaware that a certain aura reader was watching them. "But I thought that hunky Latino was more your type."
"Ew! Gross! Don't change the subject. I need you two to convince those teammates of mine to boot Beth at the next elimination."
"What for?" Julia teased. "For saying no to your little alliance?"
"I highly advise working alongside her," Dawn suddenly spoke up. Julia and Heather gasped in shock. "You were listening to us!" Julia accused.
"I wouldn't need to," Dawn calmly replied. "But I just wanted to warn you. Her aura is pitch-black with ruthlessness and a lack for mercy. She will not hesitate to throw you under the bus."
"Yeah, right," Heather scoffed. "I could tell if this girl was going to pull something over me. I'm no dumb blonde."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Julia demanded as she eyed the queen bee. "I've certainly got more brains than you. If you had brains, Beth would never had left in the first place."
"Says the girl with zero allies because she threw it all away!" Julia tackled Heather and the two got into a huge brawl. "My, what an interesting show we have," Luna giggled as she leaned on Dawn's shoulder.
"Off of me," Dawn scolded as she slapped Luna's hand away. "You know I was referring to you."
"But those little pussycats think otherwise. Guess you should've been clearer with them."
"You're no beacon of transparency yourself. I doubt you told them everything."
"They don't need to know. Where's the FUN in knowing everything all at once?"
"Oh, you wanna know something? Your little pets are dealt with. Fen-Ryu's banished and Barry is in Phoebe and Keith's safe hands."
"Eh, I knew they'd fuck up sooner or later. You're just delaying your twisted little fate." Luna laughed as she rubbed Dawn's head before walking off. "Big talk from someone who's on a leash," the aura girl muttered. Luna stopped short as her eyes widened, though her grin was still plastered on her face. "What did you just say?" she asked with an ominous tone as she twisted her head around. Dawn was suddenly pulled to the ground by a purple chain clamped around her neck. "Say that to me again," Luna threatened as she wrapped the chain around her arm, "And I will tear your soul out of your still-beating chest and broadcast your screams across the island for every little RAT WHO DARES TO QUESTION MY MOTIVES!"
"You..." Dawn stammered, "You will be stopped. I have-"
"Connections? Friends? I know how to fix that." Dawn screamed as a silver dagger landed only an inch away from her nose. "And next time," Luna warned, "It'll land in that mechanic's chest." She giggled as she started walking away while Dawn was still shaking in fright. "Oh, yes," Luna thought, "One more thing before I forget." She whistled, then Beth walked over in a trance-like state. "The vial," Luna ordered. Beth passed her a vial. "'Blood of monster unnatural clothed in human skin'," Luna noted as she twirled the vial in her hands, much to Dawn's shock. "Thanks, buddy! Now to help you out." She passed Beth a tranquilizer gun. "You know your team, the Gophers? If you see them, shoot them on sight."
"I will listen," Beth replied with a robotic tone, catching Heather and Julia's attention. "Shoot Gophers on sight." She fired at the girls on the ground. "Attagirl!" Luna cheered. "The boys should be cowering in the bathroom. Biker Girl and Skater Girl are running towards the cliffs. The others will pop up soon enough." Beth marched off. "Now onto more important matters," Luna muttered to herself.
Meanwhile, Rose was struggling to lift herself off the ground. "You can do this," she reassured herself. "You're a Muskoka Squirrel." She then came face-to-face with a large moose. "Um...hi?"
"What are you doing?" Karol inquired as she looked down at the scout.
"Oh. Hello, Karol. I can-" Rose winced as she struggled to stand. "You are in no condition to walk," Karol sternly told her. "Brutus, would you help carry her to the infirmary?"
"Brutus is the moose's name, I assume?" Rose guessed as she got on the moose's back. "Um, thank you."
"So how exactly did you end up at the bottom of this hill?"
"It's because of Trent and Carly. First Trent went bananas when I was trying to help him, then I see Carly practically shoot him in the back!"
"You must be careful with who you trust in this game. People will not hesitate to toss you aside when needed."
"But...it's not just that. Recently, I felt that Carly's been keeping things from me. I thought we were friends."
"A real friend would be open with you about anything you ask them. If Carly cannot be honest with you, then she's not worth your time."
"Are you sure?"
"To be honest, I'm closer to animals than I am with these crappy people. But you're the most tolerable person on this dump island and I'm trying to look out for you."
"Karol!" Dean called out from the medical tent. "Bring her over here." Karol grabbed Rose off Brutus the moose and set her on a small cot in the tent. However, she frowned when she saw Carly standing inside the tent. "Why is this rich bitch standing in front of us?" Karol demanded.
"I, um, wanted to talk to Rose," Carly nervously replied. However, Rose just turned her head away. "Come on, Rose," Carly begged. "Just give me a chance to explain myself."
"You might wanna hear this, squirrel scout," Dean informed her. Rose thought about it for a moment. "I'm listening..." she decided.
"Are you sure this is the best place you can think of to hide at?" Lucas groaned as he, Owen and Max struggled to fit into one bathroom stall. "I think your elbow's in my chest."
"I'm surprised this imbecile didn't decide on the kitchen," Max commented.
"It was all boarded up," Owen pointed out.
"Can we at least hide in a different stall?" Lucas asked. "My everything's starting to get numb."
"Sure." Owen walked out of the stall, causing Lucas and Max to fall down right into the toilet. "Oh..." the two boys groaned. Owen then noticed a knock on the door. He looked outside and saw Beth standing at the door. "Oh, hey, Beth," he greeted as he opened the door. "You need a hiding spot?"
"Shoot Gophers on sight," Beth repeated as she aimed her tranquilizer gun at him. She fired a few shots, making Owen pass out. "What's going on out there?" Lucas coughed out. He and Max were quickly hit, making them fall into the toilet again.
"Come on..." Topher groaned as he struggled to cut the chains with a pair of bolt cutters. He grinned when he saw them snap off. "Yes!" He opened the door and rushed in...only to be met with a dozen mousetraps on the floor. "Took you long enough," Chris scoffed.
"Chains are kinda hard to cut through," Topher defended before using the bolt cutters to slice the ropes binding Chris.
"HEY!" Yulisa shouted as she stood in the doorway. "What do you think you're doing letting that maniac run free?!"
"Well, you should be ashamed to lock our wondrous host up like a caged animal." Topher got a fearful look as Yulisa tackled him. The duo fought for a minute before Topher managed to bind her with the cut ropes. "Here's your traitorous underling, Chris," he announced. However, he found himself talking to an empty room. "Oh..."
"I feel like I'm about to throw up," Yulisa moaned before gagging.
"Game over!" Chris announced over the loudspeakers. "Bears win, Gophers lose."
"Boss man's back," Stan moaned. "Hooray." Inside the Bear cabin, Paul groaned as he woke up in his bunk while Ethan overlooked him. "How are you feeling?" Ethan asked.
"Fine," Paul shrugged.
"Okay. Now maybe the straight answer this time."
"I feel like crap. That knock-out dart whatzit must've did a number on me."
"You could say that." The boys then saw Melody walk in with a bowl of food. "I figured you might need some nourishment after today," she told Paul. "Sol offered some deer roast. His food may sound peculiar, but it is truly out of this world."
"Thanks," Paul replied.
"You just rest up, buddy," Ethan assured him. "Once you feel up to it, you can hang out in the spa hotel. We won again."
"Perhaps you can grab some soda to refresh us?" Melody suggested.
"Great idea, Miss Melody. Be right back." Ethan hurried outside. "Please don't try to spoil me now," Paul told Melody.
"Everyone deserves a few moments of pampering," Melody replied. "But I also wanted to talk to you regarding Ethan."
"Honestly, I'm not sure what to think. First it's the prince stuff with Ella, then he's suddenly all scared of me..."
"Maybe it's not fear he's feeling but concern."
"You...you think so? You're not pulling my leg, are you?"
"I do believe that is what is going on in his head. As for the stuff with Ella...I think it will get resolved soon." As Ethan was walking back with a soda bottle and some cups, he overheard the sound of sobbing. "What in heaven's name?" he wondered.
Confessional: Shane (Frogs of Death)
He was crying. "I can't believe it! Rejected yet again!" He sniffled. "But...when I force myself to face reality, I'd rather have Ella be with Ethan than not be in my life at all."
End Confessional
Unknown to him, Ethan was listening outside.
Confessional: Ethan (Confused Bears)
"I know it's rude to eavesdrop, but I couldn't help myself. And what Sir Shane had said about Miss Eleanor and myself... Does she really think of us as that? Oh... How am I going to break it to her?"
End Confessional
Meanwhile, Trent was waking up inside of the medical tent. "Morning, sleepyhead," Carly greeted. "I can see you recovered pretty quickly."
"What...happened?" Trent wondered.
"What happened?" Rose repeated. "Well, you somehow decided I was a little snack when you went after me with those fangs of yours."
"Fangs? What-? Carly!"
"I'm sorry, Trent," Carly explained, "But I couldn't keep lying to my friends. Plus, I nearly lost Rose because of it."
"No, it's fine. I guess I shouldn't have put you in that situation. And Rose, I should apologize for snapping at you like that."
"It's water under the bridge now," Rose replied, "But seriously, what the hell went on in your head?"
"I'm not exactly sure," Trent admitted. "All I remember is getting a cloth over my mouth and feeling this sharp pain in my neck before passing out. I must've assumed you were the attacker." He winced a bit. "It's still a bit sore."
"Gophers," Chris announced, "At the campfire in ten. Time to send one of you home." Later that evening, the Screaming Gophers were at the campfire ceremony. Owen, Leshawna, Lacey, Sarah, Trent, Gwen, Beth and Lindsay were in the back row while Bryan, Helen, Lucas, Heather, Max, Echo, Rose and Carly were in the front row. "Third time here, huh?" Chris teased as he sat down a plate of marshmallows. "So, you ready to vote?"
"Actually," Echo spoke up, "We're not."
"We aren't?" Leshawna questioned. 'We all know that Heather's done for."
"But before we vote, I have an announcement that I have just discovered."
"Here comes the big lie," Bryan muttered under his breath.
"I just found out that Beth has been sabotaging us throughout the challenge."
"What?!" Beth protested. "No, I haven't!"
"Yeah, Echo," Rose added. "What proof do you have?"
"I found this cloth in her bed," Echo replied as she held up a rag, "And it has this knock-out stuff on it."
"So it was you that attacked me!" Trent realized. "You even made me think Rose did it!"
"That's not all," Lucas spoke up. "She got me, Owen and Max out of the challenge."
"For real?" Leshawna asked.
"I believe him," Helen defended. "Beth, how could you?"
"I didn't!" Beth argued. "It must've been Heather! She's the evil one here!"
"But Lucas saw you," Carly pointed out. "And you had the cloth that knocked Trent out."
"Th-they're lying!" Beth stammered. "I'm innocent!"
"People that call others liars are often liars themselves," Heather sneered. "And unlike her, I have an alibi. I was defending myself from Julia when the incident occurred."
"Says who?" Gwen questioned.
"Says Nature Rat. She's a witness."
"A...valid witness," Lacey reluctantly admitted.
"Looks like quite a lot of tension," Chris noted. "The perfect time for you to start voting."
Confessional: Heather (Screaming Gophers)
"Finally! The perfect chance to boot that traitor!"
Confessional: Lacey (Screaming Gophers)
"As much as I hate doing it, I have to vote for Beth. Heather's alibi holds water and there's no way she convinced Beth to do it after she split from that witch's alliance."
Confessional: Carly (Screaming Gophers)
"The evidence is pretty damning against Beth..."
Confessional: Bryan (Screaming Gophers)
"Only because Beth just lost her usefulness. Stupid Echo."
Confessional: Echo (Screaming Gophers)
"All I had to do was bring it up and the others did all the convincing for me."
End Confessionals
Everyone but Beth and Heather were now holding a marshmallow. "Ladies," Chris announced, "There is only one marshmallow left, and it goes to..." Heather raised an eyebrow in suspense while a nervous Beth was crossing her fingers. "..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"...Heather." Heather smirked as she caught the last marshmallow. "What?" Beth gasped. "But-but she said that Heather would be leaving next."
"She?" Carly wondered. "Who's she?"
"Beth," Chris announced, "Time to join Yulisa on the Hurl of Shame."
"Yulisa?" Bryan thought.
"Yeah, after locking this glorious face up, helping a camper with unfair advantages and messing up my coffee, I decided to fire her. Beth, let's go." Beth sighed as she walked off. "I still can't believe it," Rose sighed. "And things were going so well for her, too."
"I feel guilty about voting for her," Carly said. "She mentioned someone telling her that Heather would go soon, which means she might've been tricked into doing all that stuff. If I knew that before..."
"That braced intern was helping someone in camp?" Max thought. "Why didn't I think of that?"
"But how did Chris find out? Bryan muttered. He noticed Echo was giving him a small smile as her eyes gleamed with mischief.
Confessional: Bryan (Screaming Gophers)
"Oh, she'll pay for that. Mark my words."
End Confessional
Later, Beth was sitting in the Hurl of Shame while a bound and gagged Yulisa was quickly tossed in beside her. "Any last words?" Chris asked her.
"I only hope that Heather is the next one sitting here," Beth declared. "I know she's behind this whole scheme."
"Then you'd be wrong, Bethie," Luna taunted as she popped out from under the water.
"You!" Chris pulled on the lever. "NOOO!" Beth screamed as she and Yulisa were flung away.
"There ends probably the worst episode ever," Chris narrated. "There was hardly any me in it." He flashed the camera a grin. "Come back for more danger, more drama and more Chris McLean next time on Total...Drama...Island!"

Episode 31, everyone! So, first off, this challenge is loosely based on LaCuevademisgustos's challenge from episode 9 of Chaotic Camp. Only this time, some of the interns got into the fun. Speaking of which, the interns really got to shine this episode, from Karol and Rose to Dean and Carly and especially Yulisa. Sadly, Yulisa's mutiny cost her dearly.
Another thing to mention is the creation of the Villain Alliance. Yes, it is inspired by Disventure Camp. However, this one will not go so smoothly considering one member isn't a villain, an excluded villain knows of this alliance and there's Luna. But this alliance is one of the causes that lead to Beth's elimination thanks to Luna's influence. That girl is a force to be reckoned with when Dawn of all people is frightened by her.
Other interactions to be mentioned are Keith regarding Phoebe and Barry, Scarlett with Sierra, Sol with Dawn (Wonder what's brewing there?), Sam with Millie and Priya and many others.
The songs mentioned are "Ballroom Blitz" by Sweet and "I Want It All" by Queen.
Next episode will test everyone's skills in the kitchen while trying not to get scorched by their own teammates. Until next time, enjoy and have a good day.
