Before Brooke could say anything else. The sound of the newborns cries filled the bedroom.
Brooke got up and left the master bedroom.
Once she got inside. She went over to the cribs.
(Momma 's here. It's okay my little munchkins.) Brooke said.
(Momma loves you yes she does.) Brooke added in as she carefully scooped them into her arms.
Lucas left the master bedroom. He grabbed his cellphone and sent a text to Glenn.
Making his way downstairs. As he got seated in the living room.
Half an hour later. Knocking at the front door. Sent Lucas into the entryway.
He unlocked and opened the door.
Glenn smiled up at him. (Us meeting here. Makes so much more sense.)
(Congrats Lucas. Two boys what a legacy you're starting already.) Glenn proclaimed.
As he handed over a gift he had brought for them.
(You didn't have to bring them anything.) Lucas replied.
(What did you want to talk about?) Lucas asked.
As he sat down in the living room.
Glenn sat down across from him.
(How's Brooke? Labor and delivery can be alot especially the first time around?)
(I had three of them. Two girls a boy.) Glenn replied.
(When you are so close to having it all. Everything changes once kids are involved.)
(Career. Relationship. Most of all.) Glenn advised.
(As for why I'm here. I've been working away for you and our career future.)
(Look at everything I have planned for you once you're back at the office.) Glenn said. As he brought forward the typed up detailed agenda.
Lucas read it over. (This is alot more than I expected.) Lucas admitted.

(Made the needed deals and got things signed. You're going to get paid.)

(I'm so proud of you Luke.) Glenn said. Before leaving the home.
(I thought I heard voices.) Brooke said.
(How are the boys?) Lucas asked.
(Back to sleep. They needed changing. Feeding. Me rocking them.)
(Did you speak with Glenn?) Brooke asked.
As she sat down beside him.
(I did he came over and we talked. He has so much planned for me career wise.)
(When I get back in a few months. He really believes in me and my talent as a writer.) Lucas explained.

Brooke read it and glared at Lucas.
(This schedule is packed Lucas.)
(When exactly are we going to see each other and spend time together?) Brooke questioned.
(This is the kind of schedule you worked in the early years of our marriage.) Brooke proclaimed.
(We have two boys now.) Brooke added in.
