Running back into the jungle and into a large wooden shack, pushing open the door there were bandits scattered everywhere! Then this large woman pushed through and started nagging us. About something, but I'm not too sure. I tried to shuffle out but she noticed me and started yelling at the brothers.

"And who is this?" She points to me, Luffy grins brightly even with the lump on his head, and also points at me.

"This is Tenko! We met in the woods! So I'm taking Tenko to meet everyone!" He excitedly shouts. I grimace as the noise seems to take a leap in volume as the straw hat boy reveals that.

"Can you hunt?" She asks

"U-uhm.." I stutter out, Luffy interjects

"He has mystery powers! Called quickers!" Ace's face tightens, his brow furrowed

"It's called a quirk! Idiot!" He slaps the back of his brother's head, adding another lump. The large lady snaps her fingers in front of my face, gaining attention from everyone.

"I haven't introduced myself, I'm Dadan, the leader of the Dadan Family." She tells me straight, I nod. Just as I opened my mouth the door slammed open. The rowdiness and ruckus immediately silenced, A large shadow hovered above me and as I looked up a grinning old man met my red eyes.

"And who are you?" He asks, still grinning. A hand grabs mine, pulling me away and out through the window.

"HEY! BRATS! YOU GOTTA INTRODUCE ME AS WELL!" The old man yells. I look to the person who held my hand, Ace, and we keep running deeper and deeper into the jungle.

…

We stopped as soon as we were deep enough in the jungle, we stopped running, quickly catching our breath in the meantime.

"W-who was-" I caught another breath of air, "-that?" I questioned them, panting

"T-that-" Ace coughs "-Was gramps, tries to make us into marines.. I'll never be a Marine!" He stands back up his fist raised high.

"Me too!" Sabo shouts

"Me three!" Luffy also shouts

Once we gathered our breath once more we walked to the treehouse again,

"Why did you want to be a 'Pirate King'?" I asked Luffy, to indulge him or to quiet the silence

"A Pirate King is the freest person!" He boasts

Tenko tilts his head in question, like when a cat is closely studying something particularly interesting. His curiosity peaked, any child who wasn't ever curious either didn't give a shit or was just traumatized. Either way the boy was intrigued.

"My hat," Luffy takes his hat off, showing messy black hair underneath. "Is my treasure, I made a promise to Shanks, when I get stronger than him and I find the One Piece then I can return this hat to him!" He raises the weaved hat into the air, his voice inflection full of pride and joy.

"Who's Shanks?" I asked

"He's a pirate! I'll tell you all about him!" Luffy places the hat back on his head, reaching for Tenko's hand, but the red eyed boy quickly switches the target to his wrist, and Luffy pulls him with. He starts to run, dragging him behind, as the two older boys are left behind.

Sabo and Ace look at eachother, a beat passes not long after they start running as well. Shouting and screaming at Luffy to stop being such a 'dunderhead' and to be careful of his surroundings.

"Shihihihi!" The black haired boy snickers, running faster and faster. Tenko unfortunately is the luggage. He bumps against trees, rocks, and other things, as Luffy keeps dragging him through the jungle. They finally stop at the treehouse.

Luffy turns around and Tenko is suddenly so rattled and messy. "What happened to you? Why's your hair's a mess?" Tenko clutches his fists, his face scrunches in anger, the negative emotion boiling inside and is about ready to explode, positioned to yell at him, he takes a deep breath through his nose, before blowing the air out through his mouth. He was done, he just wanted to rest.. He was sooo tired..

The older boys skidded to stop, kicking a cloud of dust behind them. They placed their hands on their knees, taking large breaths, trying to calm their racing. Before that though they scold and berate Luffy. Like that could've happened or this or that or whatever. But through it all, the straw hat boy had a laughing fit, snickering through each nagging shout and each scolding hit.

Before too long they stop nagging Luffy. Tired from that marathon of running through the jungle, we climbed up the ladder, into the treehouse. We sit in a circle, the straw hat boy starts the conversation,and he runs his mouth again, prattling all about his dream, being a Pirate King or something and then it was Ace's turn, he replied short and resolutely. "To be stronger than my father." The freckled boy says absolutely, Tenko has never met Ace's dad, but he must be really strong if Ace doesn't think that he was strong enough.

Sabo's turn was next, his voice full of determination and hope. "I am going to leave this island at 17 and become a strong pirate!" Both of his fists clenched tight in hope for tomorrow.

Finally it was Tenko's turn. "Uh.. I- um.." He lowers his head, his light blue bangs covering his eyes. "I don't have a dream.." he starts to tremble, would they kick him out if he didn't have one? All of them seemed so determined to fulfill their dream, and they believed they would. But he didn't have any, not even one.. Not after what he'd done to his family, his parents, his sister, his dog.. He felt his eyes glaze over again.

"So?" A boyish voice questioned

Tenko looked under his bangs, Luffy had crossed his legs and arms, his head was also tilted as if he was a puppy, like he was pondering. His face was scrunched up like he was thinking really hard, or pooping.

"If you don't have a dream, then just go find one!" He said absolutely, like it was obvious. Find one? Could it be so easy? To just.. Find a dream? Where would I find it?

"Where do I find one?" The light blue haired boy asks

"I don't know." The rubber boy shrugs, then yawns. He stretches his arms high in the air. "I'm tired." He then flumps backwards onto the floor. His eyes already shut as he hits the ground.

The other boys sigh, both with a hint of fondness and exasperation. They then yawned as well, flopping on the floor and tucking themselves in. As the moon lights through the small window of the tree house. Tenko's mouth twitched up in a fond smile. But he wasn't tired yet despite the crazy day he had. Waking up in a jungle, having two small panic attacks, making friends, meeting new people, and running through the jungle at high speeds. So he stepped down the ladder. His feet softly landed on grass. Looking up, the bright full moon shining down upon him.

Tenko didn't believe anything after he killed his family. He knew he was bad, he knew he didn't deserve this kind treatment from the three brothers. But they still gave it to him, showed him tenderness and kindness. He watched the night sky, twinkle and sparkle. Sitting on the grass, the tendrils of life slipping through his fingers, his pinkie lifted high. Then a shooting star danced across the sky. He had to make a wish before it went away! He shut his eyes tight and his clenched fists tightened close to his chest.

"I wish to find my dream soon, and maybe.. Stay here a little longer? This place where my quirk isn't seen as a villain and I can just be myself. Maybe I could stay here just a bit longer, if you let me.." His eyes fluttered open, the night sky sprinkled with bright stars. He yawns. "Better go to sleep." He stands up, stretches and climbs up the ladder. He stands over the three brothers; Luffy was snoring loudly and drool slipped down his open mouth, his body stretched everywhere, the blankets all around him a mess. Sabo was snoring as well but a bit quieter, Ace was sprawled out as well, snoring as loud as Luffy was. Tenko huffed through his nose, the way they slept was just so silly! He chuckled and yawned again. He decides he should probably go to sleep now too, he slumped onto one of the blankets that laid on the ground. His eyes immediately fall as his head hits the soft blanket.

I honestly forgot what I wanted to do next after Tenko met everyone. So what do you guys think the next part will be? Should Tenko train? Learn the ways of a street rat? Or something else? Also thanks for waiting so long! I hoped you enjoyed this chapter and didn't notice that I sorta rushed the ending..

Also, I don't know if I asked this already, but in the future would you guys rather see Tenko form his own crew/go his own way or go with Luffy or a different brother?
