Usagi looked over at the door that was just closed,
"...that was a close one huh Mamo-chan."
Mamoru rolled onto his stomach to look at Usagi, pulling on her hair,
"We underestimated the time he would be home…we should be more careful from now on. I don't think 'Toki would take us dating very well."
Usagi nodded as she kept changing the channels on the television.
Motoki finished cutting the vegetables and added it to his stir fry…how silly of him to think something would actually happen between his best friend and little cousin. They were after all two very different people, day and night as some people would say. He chucked to himself and called out to them both letting them know dinner was ready. Usagi and Mamoru emerged from her bedroom, Usagi laughing about some show she found while Mamoru mumbled how it was ruining her brain. Motoki smiled at both of them as the three sat down for dinner.
"Dinner was delicious as always 'Toki," Usagi commented as she cleaned up her plate.
Motoki nodded, "well thank you Usa, maybe one day you will cook too."
"Ha! I will believe that when pigs fly" Mamoru said as he poured some coffee into his mug.
Usagi pouted at him and Motoki laughed, "you never know, miracles can happen" replied Motoki.
"Like I said when pigs fly 'Toki," replied Mamoru.
"Give her more credit, she can do it if she puts her mind into it, right Usa?" asked Motoki.
Usagi nodded, "anyways I'm going to shower and knock out…I need to be up early tomorrow…Usa, Mamoru don't kill each other"
"No promises 'Toki" replied Usagi as she walked into the kitchen to wash dishes.
Usagi heard Motoki get up and walk away. She grabbed the gloves and sponge with soap and began washing dishes. She felt arms snake around her waist hugging her from behind, she leaned back into the arms she knew,
"I assume 'Toki' is showering?" she asked.
"Mmhmm…" Mamoru nuzzled her neck "when do you think we should tell him?"
Usagi laughed lightly, "considering he just warned us not to kill each other, maybe not any time soon."
"Then should we tell him when we get married?" Mamoru asked.
Usagi put the plate and sponge down, she turned in his arms to face him "is this your way of proposing to me?"
Dark blue eyes stared into light crystal eyes, "...maybe."
Those light crystal eyes twinkled, "then maybe I accept" Usagi said giggling with amusement.
Mamoru's dark eyes twinkled as he bent down to kiss Usagi, "I love you Usako."
Usagi's lips met Mamorus as she mumbled, "I love you Mamo-chan."
