The group of three continued moving for the rest of the day, only stopping once they could see the moon above the trees. They still checked around, making sure nothing else was nearby before finding a suitable place to stay for the night.

It didn't take them long, with the group settling on an opening in the forest. Eorna made to move into the surrounding forest before speaking up.

"I'm gonna check, make sure there's nothing to attack us whilst we rest."

Kurose and Sera both nodded at that, wishing her luck before finding themselves alone. They cleared up the area, pushing leaves out of the way before sitting on the ground.

"I have to say, seeing some of the things you can pull off with your weapons is kind of amazing." Sera spoke quietly.

"How so?" Kurose asked curiously.

"Well, there was that entire thing you did when we jumped out of a window, those abilities you use, and just the fact that you can change the form of your weapon however you want…" He shook his head. "Always used to think the church was exaggerating when they spoke about heroes, but now, I'm not so sure." He admitted.

Kurose thought about asking about the churches for a moment before deciding against it. Instead, he asked another question that had been bugging him.

"Why do people worship the heroes? I mean, I know the previous ones fought against the waves, but surely not all heroes are like that, right?"

Sera hummed. "Well… you are right in that not all heroes are like that. I mean, there were even mentions of a previous Jewelry tools Hero, the one before the current one, going mad and destroying everything in his path."

"I see. Then why aren't heroes treated more cautiously? I mean, in my world, if they had something like this… Well, it would probably be heavily monitored. Anything and everything they did would be reported."

"Some have suggested that." Sera responded with a small smile. "But we kind of don't need to. The Heroes usually tend to keep each other in check. Usually whenever one hero goes on a rampage or starts causing major issues, another comes along to stop them."

"But what about when that fails? What if there is no other hero?" Kurose questioned.

"Well, that's where the Arbiter comes in." Sera spoke as if it was common knowledge.

"Arbiter?" Kurose raised an eyebrow at that, and Sera coughed.

"Ah, my bad. I forgot you were not from here for a moment. Well, the Arbiter is a… I guess it would be the closest to being a judge for the heroes?" Sera paused, thinking about it for a moment before nodding.

"Yeah that works. They essentially exist to keep the heroes on the right track. For example, that past Jewelry Tools hero I spoke about? They were taken down by the Arbiter. It's not really known how the Arbiter works, or who it is. All we know is that they have always been a dwarf."

Kurose nodded his head, thinking it over as Eorna came back. He felt like he left that short conversation with more questions than answers. Was the Arbiter actually a judge of heroes? How did they take down that hero? Would Kurose and Eorna be visited by this Arbiter if they didnt do everything correctly?

He felt concerned about it, but there isn't much that he could do about it at the moment. He just had to hope that if something did come up, the Arbiter would be reasonable. Ideally, they would never meet, but knowing how things were going so far in this world? Kurose wasn't going to bet on it.

Kurose was so distracted by that thought, he almost missed out on the conversation between Sera and Eorna.

"-situation with food? I mean, I don't exactly have any cooking experience to help, so…" Sera turned to face Kurose.

Kurose shrugged in response after a moment. "I can cook a little bit. Nothing special, but I wouldn't be able to do anything here."

"Well, I have a solution for that!" Eorna spoke with a grin.

She swapped weapon forms, and Kurose looked at it as Eorna explained. "This is the Giant Owl Meat Dagger, and it has a helpful equip bonus! I haven't unlocked it yet, but I can still make stuff with it as long as I have it equipped!"

"What's the Equip Bonus?" Kurose asked curiously. "And we can get separate forms for dissecting the monsters?"

"Mhm! We can, I just didn't do it with the Spinlings or Aransilks because they weren't big enough. Plus some monsters just don't give more than one form! As for the Equip bonus, its called "Beginner Cooking Recipes", and it lets me make meals with any stuff I have inside of my weapon." She explained.

"Huh. Do you think I would get that equip bonus if I absorbed a Giant Owl?" Kurose asked her.

"No idea." Eorna responded. "Maybe you would? But then again, we won't know until we take one down eventually."

"What does it let you make?" Sera asked the Dagger hero. "Hm… There's a few meals, but I don't have the stuff for most of them apparently… Oh, I can set my weapon to make Stew! I have more than enough for the three of us!"

"Well then let's have some stew then!" Sera spoke with a grin, moving to make himself comfortable on the floor.

Eorna and Kurose followed his lead, sitting on the ground as they relaxed, waiting for the weapon to finish making their meals. Sera and Eorna started up a conversation, and Kurose leaned back slightly, looking into the night sky.

He let out a small breath as he looked at the stars. They were different from back home, he noted. Of the very few constellations he knew, mainly thanks to Sheryl, who had practically pounded the information into his head. He held back a small frown as his thoughts shifted to his parents.

Did they even know he had died? He barely ever spoke to them, due to them working late into the nights, as well as living in a different prefecture. Had Sheryl told them? Or did they just assume he was busy preparing for college? Would they even miss him?

Kurose felt something poke his shoulder, and tilted his head back down to see Eorna looking at him.

"Are you alright?" She asked slowly.. "You looked like you were thinking pretty hard there."

"Yeah. What she said. Something on your mind?" Sera added on.

Kurose thought about it for a moment, before shaking his head. "It's just… The stars are different from the ones back home." He spoke quietly, avoiding the other topic that occupied his mind..

Eorna looked at him, as if considering whether to push the issue, but eventually nodded her head, to which Kurose was thankful.

"Really?" Sera asked, a surprised tone in his voice. "How can you tell?"

"Well. there's a few constellations which I know, and I just can't see them here. None of the stars match up."

"Well, if you want, I can show you some constellations! Before my family…" He trailed off for a moment before clearing his throat. "Well, before all that, my mother would take me stargazing. I could always try and identify a few for you?"

Kurose nodded his head as Eorna pulled out three bowls of stew from her Dagger, the meal having obviously finished.

She handed them out, and the trio began to eat. Sera pointed out several stars, with Eorna jumping in at some points to either correct or argue with Sera about what a set of stars looked like. Off in the distance somewhere, there were hoots, evidence of the giant owls that Eorna had spoken of.

If either of them noticed that Kurose didn't speak a single word during it all, they didn't point it out, to which he was once again grateful. He simply took in the atmosphere, pushing the memories of his family and friend away for the moment.

After finishing their food, Eorna had absorbed all the bowls into her Dagger. Sera had insisted upon being the first to keep watch for the night, insisting that he and Eorna needed to sleep after everything that had happened.

Even with Eorna on his side, pointing out that Sera had gone through it all as well, he still wouldn't listen. They had eventually got him to compromise, getting a promise out of him that he would wake one of them up at some point to take over for him.

Whilst Kurose did trust him, he still remembered the conversation they had a few hours ago saying that he would put the heroes before himself. And so, he stayed awake. It especially helped that Kurose actually had something to check out. He remembered that notification that had popped up, just after that conversation.

He moved over to his weapon book, his eyes scanning over it for a moment before finding what he was looking for as Sera hummed to himself in the otherwise quiet clearing.

Companion Bracelet I 0/10

(Abilities Locked) Equip Bonus: Ally Stat Adjustment (Low)

It was a curious weapon form, and Kurose wasn't exactly sure how he had unlocked it. As far as he knew, he hadn't absorbed anything for it to be unlocked, unless someone had slipped something into his weapon when he wasn't looking.

Could people even do that? He shook that thought away, instead equipping the weapon form. The equip bonus alone sounded useful, and if it was going to help those he trusted? Then it was going to be one of the first things he unlocked.

Kurose lifted his arm, looking over the bracelet. It had a strange design. It was several sets of string, each intertwined with each other. It didn't look like anything that could be used to fight or defend himself with. If anything, it looked more like a friendship bracelet.

He continued to look it over for a bit, finding it much more appealing than the prospect of sleeping. He was content to do that, until he realized that at some point between him opening his weapon tree and now, Sera had stopped humming.

Was he tired enough to fall asleep whilst watching out for stuff? Kurose thought to himself.

He sat up, and concern began to pool in his stomach as he looked towards where Sera was before. His spear was left on the floor, beside where he had been sitting. His eyes flicked towards the party menu, noting that Sera was still there. He wasn't sure if people got removed from the party after dying, and if he was being honest, he didn't want to find out if that was the case.

He stood up, and quickly shook Eorna awake. She let out a small groan, rubbing at her eyes as she spoke.

"...Kurose?" She mumbled out. "Is it time for us to leave already?"

"Not yet. Sera has disappeared." He spoke quietly.

That seemed to wake her up immediately. She still rubbed at her eyes, but seemed just a bit more alert.

"What? Why and how?"

"I'm not sure. He left his spear here though, and nothing is missing. But it's better safe than sorry. I wanna go look for him."

"Sure. Just…" She let out a yawn, stretching her arms. "Just give me a moment. I'll be right behind you."

Kurose nodded and moved back towards the forgotten spear. He picked it up after a moment of hesitation, and it didn't shock him. Was it only the intent of use that mattered?

That doesn't matter at the minute He scolded himself. He examined the spear for a moment, and noticed a small amount of blood on the tip. He looked around for a moment, his eye catching on a small amount of blood on the floor.

He moved closer, and he noticed a trail, leading deeper into the woods. He let out a breath before swapping back to his Parasol. The Bracelet would have to wait until later.

He followed the trail of blood until it finally stopped in front of a tree. He looked around, a frown on his face before noticing a large, white worm curled around the tree. On a branch of the tree hung a pod, one that held several small holes all over it.

Kurose quietly moved over to it, and put his hand on it. He began to tear off the webbing, and soon enough, he was greeted by Seras face. He looked surprised to see Kurose here.

"Kurose?" He whispered. "What are you- No, never mind that. Behind you, on the tree, you need to-"

"Kill it?" Kurose completed the sentence for him.

Sera nodded his head, or attempted to. Kurose wasn't exactly sure, but he turned towards the sleeping monster.

Only for it to be staring directly back at Kurose. He let out a shout of surprise, and thrust forward with his Parasol, whilst the pale worm let out a hiss. It then proceeded to open its mouth, and shoot out a white glob towards Kurose.

His eyes widened at that, and he backpedalled. The glob landed where he was just standing, and nothing happened. The creature proceeded to shoot several more globs at Kurose. He managed to dodge each hit, and Kurose thrust forward with his Parasol.

That was until his foot made contact with one of the white globs he had just dodged. The Glob seemed to explode into a mess of threads underneath him, the threads sticking to his body as he moved a hand to try and pull them off.

That only served to get him more tangled up, and unable to actually attack the monster with his Parasol.

It let out another hiss as it moved closer to Kurose.

"Erst Scarf!" He shouted desperately, hoping to buy himself a few more moments to try and unstick himself.

At that same moment, movement came from behind the monster, as well as a voice.

"Erst Slash!"

Eorna's Dagger made its way through the creature, with the monster falling limp almost immediately.

"Sorry I'm late! Still a bit tired…" She spoke, letting out another yawn.

"It's fine. Just glad you got here." He spoke with a smile.

"Yeah, I'm glad you are here as well. But uh… do you mind cutting me out of this? Damned thing covered me in those globs." Sera asked

"Oh! Yeah sure, just gimme a moment!"

Eorna quickly cut Sera out of the quickly made cocoon, and helped cut Kurose out of the tangle of threads he had found himself in. Once that was done, She quickly got to work in splitting up the worm.

Kurose thanked her and absorbed his portion of it.

ThreadSpitter Parasol 0/10

(Abilities Locked) Equip Bonus: +4 Magic Attack, Skill, "Thread Trap"

It was a decent weapon form, mainly because it gave him another skill to use. His first priority was still the Companion Bracelet, but that was a given.

"Ha! I got a new skill!" Eorna spoke cheerfully, a smile on her face.

"What's it called?" Kurose asked her.

"It's called Tangle! I'm not sure what it does, but I'm gonna sleep on it to make sure I unlock it!" She responded cheerfully, earning a nod from Kurose.

They quickly made their way back to their temporary campsite, and after some insistence from both Eorna and Kurose, Sera went to lay down. Kurose was keeping a look out for a bit, only allowed after Eorna had gotten a promise out of him that he would wake her up in a bit to take over for him, to which he had reluctantly agreed.

The trio had settled into a pattern. For the week they were on the move, they continued to move away from the capital. It didn't matter in which direction, just as long as it was away from the capital.

Any village they came across was skipped over due to the concerns the three of them shared about it being potentially too close to the capital to be safe for them, even if they did wear their cloaks the entire time.

They continued to fight any monsters they came across, but due to mainly sticking by the main paths travelled between each village and moving into the forest when people traveling could potentially catch sight of them. They didn't encounter many monsters.

The ones they did encounter were monsters they had encountered before. Namely Spinlings, Aransilks and on occasion, Threadspitters. Though, without the advantage of surprise on the Threadspitters side, they did not pose as much of an issue for the three of them.

It made sense, but that wasn't to say it wasn't disappointing for Kurose. He had run out of weapon forms to master about three days into their journey, and it wasn't like he could just chuck everything into his weapon, right?

That wasn't to say they weren't good experiences though. By the end of the week, Kurose and Sera were at level 12, whilst Eorna was at 14,

It was on the seventh day, as they began their journey once more that Sera spoke up.

"We should probably stop by a village soon, see if they have a blacksmith or anything." He suggested.

They all knew the risks of stopping by a village, but they did need to get some equipment for the wave.

"...We could." Kurose responded slowly. "But have we actually gone far enough? Do you think we won't get noticed or anything?"

"As long as we keep our hoods up, we should be fine, right?" Eorna responded to Kurose's question. "Plus… well, it would be nice to stay in a proper bed, for at least one night…" She mumbled that last part, and Kurose had to agree with her.

Sure, it was nice sleeping out in the forest, but it wasn't going to be that way forever. They had honestly been lucky that it hadn't rained during the time they had been out.

"If you two think it's fine, then we can stay in a village or something tonight, provided we find one." Kurose spoke with a smile. "Me and Eorna can take some stuff out of our weapons and sell it for some extra money, just to replace what we will use up."

"That's good. I think we should also see about getting you two some armor." Sera added on. "I mean, you are going to need it for the wave, right? And I need to get my own armor repaired."

Kurose had to admit, Sera had a point. If they wanted to be at their best for the wave, they needed armor. Kurose was just concerned with how much it was going to cost, especially since Orith had managed to haggle down the price for them last time. Kurose held no such talent, and he wasn't sure if Eorna did either.

"I guess we are heading into the next village we see. You got anything interesting to sell in your item drops?" Kurose asked her, pulling up his own item drop menu.

"Other than a few gems which you will probably want to keep? I got some basic iron swords, they could sell for a little I guess?" Eorna offered up.

"Well… the gems are pretty low quality, so I guess it's probably fine to sell them. We can always see how much they sell for."

That was another thing that Kurose and Eorna had found out. Monsters absorbed into their weapons did not drop only herbs. They could also give some basic weapons, ores and very rarely, gems. The gems were never above poor quality, but it was still good for Kurose.

If they had to sell them, it wouldn't be the biggest loss. That was at least how Kurose had taken it. The gems probably wouldn't give much in terms of boosts to his weapon forms, so it was fine.

"Actually…" Sera spoke slowly. "Could I try using one of those swords?" He asked.

Kurose nodded, and before Eorna could say anything, but quickly pulled out one of the swords from his weapon's gem. It was a little heavier than he expected, but he still passed it over to Sera.

"Why do you wanna use it? Don't you want to use your spear?" Eorna asked him curiously.

"Yeah, but if we are in a smaller place, where I cant use my spear as effectively, like the hallway by the gate. I want to have something I can swap to, you know?"

Eorna hummed at that, nodding her head. "That makes sense! Plus, if it does end up breaking or something, we can just replace it with one from our weapons."

"Exactly." Sera responded with a smile. "You get it. Now c'mon, let's get going! We can't be that far away from a village, right?"

As it turned out, they were still a decent distance from the next village. The direction they had chosen to continue walking in was just forests. Kurose was starting to believe that's all that Ortensca had to offer. Forests, forests and more forests.

They had elected to continue going for a bit longer than they had the previous nights. For both Kurose and Eorna, it was obvious why. They were driven by the thought of sleeping on a proper bed for the time in a week. Sera did not argue against them, seemingly happy to keep moving on with their journey.

It was during this time, in the middle of the woods that the trio heard a hoot. Kurose tensed up slightly, his mind wandering back to that first night out.

"Was that…" He asked slowly, being interrupted by Eorna who already held an answer.

"Yeah, that's the cry of a Giant Owl." She spoke with a nod. "Do we want to try and fight it?"

Kurose hesitated for a moment. It would definitely give him some more weapon forms, and they were going to need to start fighting stronger monsters at some point.

"If you two want to, we can." Kurose responded, waiting for an answer.

"Yup! I was able to hurt one a bit when I was being escorted here, so they can't have been super strong!" Eorna responded with a grin

"I think that's just because your stats were high enough." Sera pointed out with a frown, and Kurose nodded.

"Yeah, I went over it with Amarita. Apparently my stats at level one were pretty good compared to a normal person."

"Then that means it will be even easier for us!" Eorna spoke with a grin. "If i was able to damage one at such a low level, imagine how much better I'll be able to do now! Let's go!"

With that, Eorna marched off to where the hooting was coming from, with both Sera and Kurose jogging to keep up with her after a moment of hesitation

As they got closer, the hooting became became weaker, and the sound of something hissing seemed to overtake it. Once it became clear there was something else beside the Giant Owl before them, the three slowed down, deciding to take a look.

Kurose looked into the area for a moment before pausing. The Giant owl was resting on a tree branch that looked like it could barely support the owl. It was missing several patches of feathers all over its body. On parts without feathers, there was the occasional scratch, with what looked like black burn marks next to the wounds. None of them were deep, but the amount of them was alarming.

Kurose's eyes turned to the area beneath the Giant owl. He saw the source of the hissing sounds, a raptor looking monster. It was a bright yellow, with black frills around its neck. It was surrounded by a few cracked eggshells, with the inside of them being suspiciously empty. It continued to move around, and as it did, Kurose saw yellow sparks building up.

Were the two monsters fighting or something? If they were, I'm assuming that raptor looking thing was what caused the black marks on the Giant Owl…

"Shit, that's an Amphelisk." Sera spoke quietly, the concern in his voice clear.

"An Amphelisk?"

"Yeah, they are tough as hell. Build up energy by running around, then release it either from their mouth or imbue it into the claws. My question is though, what is it doing on its own? They usually hunt in packs…"

"Maybe it got separated?" Eorna suggested.

"It could have been…" Sera spoke with a nod. "But there's a chance that its group is just hanging back for a bit."

"Well, do you think we could take it?" Kurose asked. "Because if not, I think we should probably turn around and move further away before sleeping for the night." Kurose spoke up.

Sera thought about it for a moment before nodding his head. "We should be able to take it. It's whether the Giant Owl actually decided to attack us or not."

Kurose nodded his head, his Parasol held out in front of him. "Alright, I guess I'll start us off…" He spoke slowly.

He made sure he could actually see the Amphelisk. It was standing still for the moment, its frills pointing outwards as its eyes locked onto the Giant Owl. A yellow glow was emitting from its open mouth.

He lined up his Parasol before speaking. "Thread Trap"

The skill was similar to what the Threadspitter could do. However, instead of shooting out the white glob like the monster had done, it skipped straight to the next step, shooting out the individual threads to entrap the monster.

The surprise of suddenly having any of its movement restricted was enough to get a squawk from the Amphelisk, the yellow glow in its mouth dying out as the trio moved in quickly.

"Erst Slash!" Eorna called out, her dagger glowing as she swung towards the unmoving Amphelisk.

Before her dagger could reach it however, it opened its mouth, a small bolt of yellow shooting from its mouth. Eorna moved her hand in front of her eyes, to block out the sudden brightness, but was met with a stinging sensation on her hand.

She let out a shout of pain, catching Kurose's attention. Sera thrust forward with his spear, hitting the Amphelisks leg but tearing at the threads just enough to give back the Amphelisks movement.

It immediately jumped up, its claws moving in to slash at Sera outstretched arms.

"Erst Scarf!" The summoned scarf shot forth, placing itself as a barrier between Sera and the Amphelisk,

The claws scraped across the scarf, and the Amphelisk moved back, hissing between the three of them. It looked back up the Giant Owl, who had gone silent except for its heavy breathing before making a decision. It let out one final hiss before turning tail and fleeing.

Kurose froze at that, not used to monsters actually fleeing. He was about to speak, only to be distracted as something heavy fell to the floor behind them. He turned around, the Giant Owl was clearly injured, enough to to be unable to move.

"Hoo…" Came from the Giant Owl weakly. It lifted up its head through no small effort to look at the three before it.

Kurose took a breath, returning its stare before the owl laid its head back down. Its previously heavy breathing seemed to die down as it finally succumbed to its injuries.

"That's not really how I saw this going." Sera spoke with a frown. "But I guess it's all good?"

"I guess so. Eorna, are you fine?" Kurose asked.

"Yeah, I am. Guess you weren't lying about them being able to shoot that energy out of their mouths, huh?" She spoke with a small smile, gently shaking her hand. "I'm not injured. Just felt like a stronger version of the shock we get when we try to use other weapons, you know what I mean Kurose?"

He nodded. "Yeah, thankfully it wasn't any stronger. I guess it's probably because it was trying to charge up something before I trapped it?"

"Maybe. But why was the Amphelisk here? I know you suggested it might have been separated already, Eorna, but it's… concerning." Sera responded.

"Well… It was probably looking for a quick meal." Kurose spoke, nudging one of the cracked egg shells with his shoe. "And from the looks of it, it got what it wanted…"

"Yeah, I guess so." Sera spoke with a frown.

"...Should I get to cutting up the Owl then, I guess? There's no point in letting it just lay here." Eorna asked.

"Yeah, we might as well get some weapon forms out of it. Even if we didn't kill it. I'll start cleaning up the egg pieces I guess."

"Sounds good!" Eorna set off, getting to work to cut up the owl whilst Kurose lifted the egg shells to his weapons gem.

Kurose looked at the new weapon form before speaking up. "Hey Eorna, did you try to absorb anything else other than monsters?" He asked.

"Um… No? Not that I can think of, why?" Was his fellow hero's response. "Well, I just absorbed an egg shell and got a weapon form."

"Eh? Really? We don't have to absorb just monsters?" Eorna asked in surprise.

"Look for yourself in a moment. I'll bring some of the shells over." Kurose spoke, picking up a few more egg shells.

Once he was sure there were no more, he absorbed half of them into his weapons gem, whilst bringing the rest to Eorna. She had finished splitting up the owl. It was split into several parts, from feathers and meat, to its claws and bones.

It wasn't perfect, but it was the best Eorna could do, and so Kurose was grateful. He handed the egg shells to Eorna before reaching out to absorb the Giant Owl remains.

Five Weapon forms from one monster was pretty good. It gave him a wide variety of things, but there were two forms that stuck out to him.

Giant Owl Bone Bracelet 0/5

Giant Owl Meat Ring 0/5

He debated between the two weapon forms before deciding to go with the Giant Owl Bracelet for the time being. It was better to unlock the skills immediately, or at least in his mind it was. The other weapon forms gave decent bonuses, but he was beginning to notice that the Parasols were generally stronger than any other weapon form.

He shrugged again, watching as Eorna absorbed her own portion of materials. Once she had done that, Sera spoke up.

"We should probably get moving. We don't want to be here if that Amphelisk comes back with friends."

"Sounds good. As long as one of us is on lookout duty, we should be fine. And with a bit of luck, we should find a village or something in a few days, right?" Kurose asked.

"Hopefully" Sera spoke with a smile. "Now come on, let's get moving."

Matthias held out a hand, the merchant's wagon he was catching a ride on stopping at his command. The border was within sight just beyond the trees, and he had to get through it no matter what.

They had already denied him passage through the border on orders from the king of Ortensca, but as far as Matthias knew, Ronald had given him permission to cross the border since the countdown for the waves had begun.

So to be denied by the king had made Matthias think something was up. But to avoid any sort of incident between the two countries, he had opted to instead back down, intent on finding another way past the border.

"How close do you think you could get to the wall?" Matthias asked the merchant.

The merchant thought about it for a moment before answering. "Well… If I'm being honest, I could probably get through the border itself, though my merchant's license really only clears me and my cargo, so having you here would stop me."

"That's fine. Were you planning on going to Ortensca? No worries if you aren't."

"I can't say I was unfortunately. If you do get across the border, you'll be on your own, your majesty."

"That's fine. Just drop me off as close as you can justify being, and I'll be good."

"If that's what your command is, your majesty." The merchant replied.

The caravan continued on, moving closer and closer to the border. It wasn't until Matthias heard the shouting of guards as they came closer did he act

"I appreciate the assistance. When you get the time, head to the capital, I'll ensure you are paid for your assistance, as well as any inconveniences this brings you." He murmured to the merchant.

The merchant didn't respond, but Matthias could tell he heard. As the guards came closer, Matthias murmured a skill.

"Hide Hammer." With that, he disappeared from the merchant's field of view, and began to make his way quietly towards the border.

One way or another, he would figure out why he was barred access from Ortensca, but he first had to deal with their wave. And a little thing like a border wasn't going to stop him from doing his job.

[Accessory World Info]

In this section, we will be talking about Amphelisks. These creatures tend to travel in packs. They usually claim territory around their nest, but can be driven out. That is done in various ways, but the most common is a stronger monster taking over their territory.

Amphelisks gain energy from moving around. As they gather more energy, they can expend this in various ways. Whether it be through ranged attacks from their mouths, or electrifying their talons. They can also use this energy to increase their speed for a short time. However, when an Amphelisk stops moving, the energy it has gathered dissipates quickly.
