A/N: As promised, here's the second Total Drama News report!

Reviews:

Dkunderdog: Nope. She's not there. That was just a mistake on my part. I'll make sure to fix it. Thanks for catching that.

G09F17R02: I almost considered doing it. Even with that though, the results would have turned out the same. But I get why you wanted to see it though. I have got to get around to playing the other Mario Party games lol. I honestly play most games on Playstation compared to Nintendo, Xbox and PC so there's definitely a lot of Nintendo stuff that I never got around to playing.

"Welcome back to another edition of Total Drama News!" Dewey announced in front of the camera. "I'm Dewey!"

"I'm Julie!"

"I'm Riley!"

"Recording is Huey Duck!"

"And today, we've got some juicy storylines for this season of Total Drama!" Julie announced. "But first, let's welcome our newest addition to the crew, Ayame! After her excellent artist skills were highlighted in our team's meeting, so we thought it would be a good idea to ask her if she could be in charge of the visual side of things."

"When it comes to the arts, Ayame definitely dominates!"

"Aw shucks guys. Thanks. But, you might want to clarify that a little. I'm nowhere near the poet Rocky is. But I do dabble in a little music like he does. Along with dancing, fashion and art."

"Well, at least we know who's a shoo-in for a talent show." Julie said.

"Funny enough, I actually was in one before. And I'm a part of a traveling performance group with my family." Ayame said.

"Wow. So your whole family are performers? Depending on how far you get, I'm sure they'd be very proud of you." Riley said.

"Well yeah but, they'd have to actually attend. For obvious reasons."

"Oh yeah. 19th century." Dewey said.

"Let's get back on topic guys. And that's the big headlines so far this season!" Julie said.

"First up, Priya! Champ or Chump? In the last episode, Priya was chosen to stay instead of Owen as he received more votes. As you may or not know, both Owen and Priya were winners of the Total Drama Island Seasons, Owen being the winner of the first and Priya being the winner of the reboot." Dewey explained.

"But with her performance so far, she hasn't exactly been up to snuff which leaves some like Heather, a Total Drama veteran since the first season and a champion of World Tour wondering: Is she a fraud?" Riley asked.

"Well, we decided to ask 20 random contestants to find out! Let's go!" Julie said, more than ready to get started.

Kuroko was seen by himself reading a mystery novel. It took a bit of searching on their part until Kuroko found them himself.

"Hey, were you guys looking for me?"

The camera suddenly changed to his direction.

"Yeah." Riley said.

"What's going on? Is this some kind of interview?"

"That's exactly it! We're asking 20 contestants about their opinions of Priya and whether or not she truly deserves to be a champion and stay over Owen. And you're the first! What're your thoughts?" Julie asked.

"Well, I won't go so far as to say she didn't deserve it. I don't know much about Total Drama admittedly as I've never watched the show, even after I appeared a while ago on that island, so I don't think it's fair for me to say it was undeserved. Yes, I want to win, but I'd never look down on someone regardless of how strong or weak they are. It'd be hypocritical of me if I did. I'm going to stay neutral on that question. But I will say that Owen deserved another chance. It's just unfortunate that this was the situation he was put in to be eliminated." Kuroko answered.

"Since you're mentioning that, next question, if you're comfortable with sharing that with us that is. Who exactly did you vote for in the elimination ceremony?" Riley asked.

"Owen. I understand it seems counteractive of me to say it isn't fair that Owen got eliminated and I was one of the causing factors. And you're not exactly wrong if you think that. But please let me explain. The reason why I chose Priya to stay was because of the fact that I know how she feels. Sending her home wasn't going to make her feel any better. It was only going to get worse. I haven't known him for too long, but I think Owen would understand."

"Maybe you'll be able to talk to him about it whenever the next aftermath comes around. I'm curious to see what he thinks about all of this." Julie said.

"Aftermath? You don't mean the end of the show do you?"

"Did you forget that he's never watched the show?" Dewey asked Julie.

"Oh. Right. Sorry. You'll see when it comes around." Julie said to Kuroko.

"Okay then. I'm looking forward to it."

"One more question for you. Your friends all talked about their favorite movies but you never said yours. What is it?" Riley asked.

"Stand By Me. It's actually a movie adaptation of Stephen King's The Body novella. Even if you're not interested in his books, I can't recommend the movie enough. It's a good drama movie."

"I book lover's favorite movie being based off a book. Makes a whole lot of sense actually." Dewey said.

"Well, that's all the questions we have for you today. Until next time!" Riley said.

Jenny was listening to music with Ruby Gillman, with each having an earbud in their ear.

"Hey Jenny!" Julie said, waving.

"Julie! Ayame! What's up?"

"If you don't mind, do you mind doing an interview with us? It'll only be 1-2 questions."

"Sure!"

"We're asking 20 contestants about their opinions of the elimination between Owen and Priya and whether or not Priya deserved to stay. I understand she isn't on your team, but what's your honest opinion on this?" Julie asked.

"Well, first and foremost, I'm not much of a fan of what Heather said to her. And that's the reason why I think she should stay. She may not be on my team, but I'm rooting for her to beat Heather. Even if it's just one challenge."

"I see. Second question for fun. What is your favorite movie?" Riley asked.

"Hmm… don't really have one to be honest." Jenny answered, before shrugging.

"That's fair. Even if you like movies, you might not exactly have a favorite."

"Well, as promised, that's all the questions we have for you today. Thank you!" Julie exclaimed.

"Anytime!" Jenny responded back.

Next was Paul, who was training with his Pokemon. Torterra was seen.

"Excuse me. Paul!" Riley called out. "Do you mind if we ask you some questions?"

Paul turned and closed his eyes. "If it's not something important, I'm not wasting my time answering them."

"Not a very fun guy." Dewey whispered to the camera.

"Well, it's about Priya." Riley said.

"What about her? She's not on my team." Paul said.

"Well, we're asking 20 contestants their thoughts on Owen and Priya and whether or not Priya deserved to stay. Do you have any thoughts you'd like to share?"

"If you want my honest opinion, Priya didn't deserve another chance. She's had three to prove herself and she's failed on all of them. I can't say that Owen would fare any better, but at the very least, he'd at have an opportunity to do so."

"At least we know where to go when we want honesty." Dewey said.

"Next question. Is there anyone here that you have a positive opinion of?"

"Midorima, Jotaro, Din, and Shiro."

"Why these four in particular?"

"For Midorima, you could say he's the opposite of Priya. He didn't do well in the first challenges he was in, but that didn't stop him from holding back and doing well in the last. So far, he's the only one of that group that has lived up to the expectations I had for them having a name like the 'Generation of Miracles'. As for Jotaro, I'll admit, I don't fully understand how his Stand works, but from what I've seen so far, he's capable of functioning without it. Which is more than I can say for people like Bren. As for Din, he's proven himself as a good player. There's nothing else that needs to be said. Shiro, and so far, the rest of the racing team he's on, have proven they don't need each other to do well. Individual skills are just as important as teamwork. Needing someone to hold your hand all the time isn't strength. That's weakness."

"And what about Isagi?"

"What about him? So because he did well in one challenge that didn't even have him really use his skills I'm supposed to be impressed?"

"Well, it's just that he did come up with the idea for having us come together to note our strengths and what we can do." Riley said.

"So what? He still hasn't lived up to the expectations I have for him. Especially doing something like that. You already have your answers to your two questions. So why are you still asking me more?"

Riley had enough of Paul's attitude. "Look, you-" Julie covered her mouth.

"We have two more questions for you and then we'll get out of your hair, we promise." Julie said.

Paul sighed. "Go ahead. But make them quick."

"You mentioned Bren. What exactly are your thoughts about him specifically to make you say something about him in seemingly a negative light?" Julie asked.

"His Monsuno are strong. Bren isn't."

"But if that's the case, couldn't we say the same about you?" Julie asked.

"No. In a place like this, separating the person from their abilities is important. Bren may look like he might be a strong competitor from the outside looking in but he's not. The minute he doesn't have his Monsuno, he's exposed. I don't see him lasting much longer. The same way I don't see Kise or Haizaki lasting much longer. Copying someone's moves after seeing them once seems impressive, but it's not. If you're not capable of evolving with your own moves, then you're easy to beat."

"And what about Heather's comments. Would you say you agree with them?"

"I wouldn't say I agree with everything she said. But I agree with most of it. My last answer about Priya should have told you that. As for Morty, he's exactly what I mean about relying on others. If it's true he's not being able to do well on his own, then he's not an addition. He's a liability. By himself, without Rick, if that's true, I don't see him lasting long."

"I see. Well, as promised, that's all the questions. Thank you!"

After asking 17 other contestants, Ayame drew out a graph of everyone's opinions.

"All right. We've asked around and have gotten their opinions on the matter. Here's the data!" Julie announced as a pie graph was seen.

Question: Did Priya deserve another chance?

Yes: Kuroko(Neutral on champion thoughts), Jenny, Ben, X, Puss, Molly

No: Paul, Maki(Disagrees with Heather's comments but still would have chosen for Owen to stay), Rook, Dwayne, Alejandro, Bobo

Neutral: Yulaw, Ryoma, Ryoma Echizen, Mayuzumi, Huey Freeman, Octavia, Lucy

Preferred not to answer: Mamori

"Interesting that more are neutral on it than having a yes or no answer, including some of her own teammates." Riley said.

"Though some of the others I'd say makes sense. Think about it, they're not on her team after all." Dewey said.

"Now for a couple of bonus questions that we've gathered." Julie said.

Hiruma was watching Monta and Kurita teach Nimona how to play football after learning from Kurita how much of a "violent sport" it was.

"And that's how you catch a football!" Monta said.

"That's good. But Nimona's different. She could do better. First, change into that catcher on your team. Monkey boy! Throw me that ball."

Monta tosses Hiruma the ball and he catches it.

"Got it." Nimona said, changing into Miyuki.

"Then, put both of your hands out."

Both of Nimona's hands were out.

"Now I'm going to record this to show how exactly what you're doing right and wrong. First, raise each of your individual fingers. Start with your right. Lower all your fingers except your index."

Nimona followed these instructions to the tee.

"Now lower all your fingers except the middle one and catch it with your other hand. Make sure your right hand is above the ball and behind it as well."

He then tosses her the ball, doing just that.

Nimona then suddenly changed back. When she did this, he stopped recording.

"Yeah yeah. That's cool and all. So what about the part this guy does? Hitting people." Nimona asked, pointing to Kurita.

"Well….. there's different ways to do that. There's blocking, tackling….." Kurita continued, naming other ways to hit an opponent off the top of his head, counting them on his fingers.

"There's like several different ways to hit people in this game huh? That's so metal! Okay, I wanna learn them all!" She then turned into Kurita before running after Monta and flattening him.

"Heh. You're already a natural. But you could be better. I'm going to teach you how to block next." Hiruma said.

"Does it involve you using these?" Nimona asked, reaching for the rifle he had in his hands only for him to change hands with the gun.

"Man-Pig. Shrimp. Go get the Peewee. We're going to train." Hiruma said.

"Okay!" Monta and Kurita nodded. Hiruma turned back to Nimona.

"Now, change into the f[censored]ing CIT girl." Hiruma instructed.

"Got it." Nimona changed into Courtney.

"Now make sure one hand is out, like this. Then say this, look away and close your eyes." He said, holding out a card with writing on it as he recorded with the camera again.

"'Football? Ugh. As if.'" Nimona recited as Courtney.

When she did that, Hiruma stopped recording.

"Alright. You're doing great. Now, change back into yourself. It won't do any good if you can't block with your own strength."

"Oh yeah! That's true. Just look at this guy. He's got plenty of strength to go around." Nimona said, referring to Kurita.

A few seconds later, Julie, Dewey and Riley showed up to ask him questions.

"Hey Hiruma! Do you have time for a few questions?" Dewey asked.

"Yeah. Go ahead. Monkey boy! Man-pig! Show her the rest of the basics. Get the manajerk to help if you have to."

"Let's go!" Monta said, saluting.

"First off, you seem to have an insane amount of weapons on you. Where did you get them from?"

"From a military base. I murdered everyone inside!" Hiruma said, grinning.

"Really!?" Nimona asked, an evil grin also on her face.

"Yeah, that's clearly a lie." Riley said.

"You sure? Knowing him, it honestly might not be." Dewey said.

"Okay. Next question. You couldn't possibly find some evil answer for this one. What is the one food or drink you like or dislike?"

"Sugar. All of the gum that I chew is sugar-free. Even the coffee that I drink is black. Manajerk can't understand it since she always has to have sweeten hers, but I just don't like it." Hiruma answered.

"Huh. Very interesting." Ayame said.

"Next question, what type of person would you be interested in in a romantic relationship?" Ayame asked.

"Are you sure it's a good idea to ask him that?" Riley asked, low.

"Come on, I know you're a little morbidly curious yourself." Ayame said.

"I'm sure I know the answer." Riley said.

An evil grin appeared on his face. "A girl I can use."

"You mean someone you can manipulate!? That's even worse!" Riley thought, thinking he was going to say someone as unpredictable/crazy as him.

"No. Someone that can be manipulated and someone that's useful are two very different things. There's only so much usefulness that a face can have. What's in here?" Hiruma said, pointing to his head.

"Oh so you mean someone who's smart." Nimona said before changing into Mamori. "Like me right?"

Hiruma pulled out a flamethrower and shot the ground with it, which only caused Nimona to laugh while the others were terrified and ran away.

They went to Asta and Noelle next with Asta training with Ryoma while Noelle battled against Maki.

"You two have been here for 3 episodes now and more than four days. What are your opinions of the show so far?" Dewey asked.

"I think it's pretty fun. Honestly, I didn't expect so many other people to not be born with magic within them, especially my own team. Before we joined, there wasn't a single person on the team that could do magic. And seeing the fact that they're all strong in their own ways is incredible. And it only motivates me to want to train harder to achieve my dream!" Asta answered.

"I suppose it's fine. The living conditions and the food are awful however. There's no excuse for housing to be this poor." Noelle answered.

"It's not too bad. It took a few days but I've gotten used to the beds now." Asta said.

"Noelle, this question is just for you. Compared to Asta, who has been very vocal in these challenges, you've been a lot more quiet and reserved. Is there anyone in particular you've been able to get along with or befriend?"

"No. There hasn't. Yes, I respect my teammates, but I don't feel the need to befriend them." Noelle said.

"Didn't seem like it in 2105." Dewey noted.

"That wasn't the same!" Noelle quickly blurted out.

"How exactly was that different again?"

"We didn't know we'd be brought onto a team."

"Yeah, I don't buy that." Dewey said low, looking at the camera.

"If you're going to ask me stupid questions, then leave!"

"Hey! There's no need to have an attitude about it." Asta said. He was suddenly knocked away by water as she pulled out her Grimoire and her wand.

Finally, Blaze was interviewed as she was off to herself.

"Out of everyone on your team, you seem to be the most quiet. Possibly just as, if not moreso than Kuroko. You've also seen the least amount of action in the show so far. Do you have any thoughts on that?" Julie asked.

"None at all." Blaze answered.

"Really? Compared to Sendo, Natsu and Kagami who want to play basically every challenge, you're pretty much the exact opposite it seems." Riley said.

"It's not that I don't want to be in a challenge. I just haven't been in one yet outside of the short time I had in the racing challenge. It's that simple. In challenges where there are choices, if any of my teammates are better suited for it than me, why would I foolishly throw myself in and hurt our chances of winning? What purpose would that serve? As long as I keep myself prepared, I'll remain professional about it and continue to support my teammates in whatever way I can. It's not all about me and what I wish to do. Kuroko, speaking of which, from what I've seen from him, seems to understand that. As do I."

"Well then, considering what you showed in that time period, I'm confident you'll be a force to be reckoned with when the time does come. Now to change gears. Is there anything in particular that you like doing in your free time?"

"Most of the time I prefer to keep to myself. But I do like to do ballet from time to time."

"Ballet huh? I'd love to see you dance!" Ayame said.

"Maybe another time." Blaze said, smiling a little. "Besides, I'm sure you have more people to interview. Also, one more thing before you leave. If you want to know my opinions about Priya, while it's a shame that Owen had to go, I'm hoping that she can improve. Giving up isn't the answer. Only through persistence can she persevere. As long as she has that, I'm confident she can recover from her struggles."

"Wasn't exactly expecting you to address Priya, but the more, the better! Thanks for the answers!" Dewey said.

"You're welcome."

The three interviewers looked at the camera.

"And that's all we have for today! Tune in next time for the third episode of Total Drama News!" Julie said.

"And remember to send in any questions you have for the cast! I'm sure some of them would be more than happy to, or not so happy to, answer your questions! See ya!" Dewey said before Huey D. stopped recording.

A/N: And that's the second episode!

Next time, get ready for the contestants to travel to Japan where the teams will meet several of the Devil Bat crew's adversaries so far, along with ones they've yet to play. Not to mention the rest of the Devil Bats crew that stayed behind including Yukimitsu, who was mentioned in the flashback in the last episode.

Are the other teams as crazy as Hiruma? Or are they as stoic and serious as Shin on the White Knights? Find out on the next episode that focuses on the world of American Football in Japanese high school….. with basically little to no football played in the chapter lol.
