A/N: We now travel to the world of Destiny, where the contestants(some for their second) time, will be put into Shaxx's playground. Which team will earn glory in the Crucible?
Just as a quick note, this takes place during the current season of the second game, Season of the Wish. However, some weapons that have yet to transition over to the second game along with maps may still appear here.
Also as a note, this takes place after the Destiny/RWBY Crossover story, Guardians of Remnant, meaning that team RWBY's lightbearing powers will return here.

G09F17R02: Probably would have worked as a fifth judge if I was planning on doing that. But I wasn't budging on having more than 4. And Beerus, Murasakibara and Makoto weren't going anywhere when it came to possible changes.
SmookJublie(AO3): Glad to hear you're still reading! And yeah, it's a lot to write(ask subwayguy on how long it took him to finish Ultimate Islands if you've read it). Regardless though, it's still fun to write. Pacing and just persistence in general has caused me to not feel any type of burnout in this or Multiverse Edition honestly despite this story getting updates at a slower rate. That's the biggest thing that I'd say describes me more than anything else. Persistence and effort. As for Mac and Raphtalia, don't worry, they'll show up later on in the season actually.
And as for Jotaro and Johnny, let's see how far they can get! I won't make it easy for them, especially in this challenge. Destiny was the first ever game I had for PS4 when I first got the system as a birthday present in 2014, so you bet I'm gonna put my best forward for this one. No mercy to either!

"Last time on Total Drama Across the Multiverse! It was time to get in the kitchen again as the three teams were presented with a Total Drama Island classic: The cooking challenge!"
Footage of the teams being presented with the cooking challenge in West City, in the world of Dragon ball, was shown
"And like it's inclusion in Multiverse Edition, each team would have four groups, with each group being in charge of cooking one specific meal: The four meals being Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Dessert, with each team being able to decide which meals they want to do after the members were chosen, which in this case, was completely random."
Footage of each of the groups being chosen along with the teams deciding on which meals to cook were seen.
"And, to make things even more interesting, since this is a classic challenge, with some vets here already knowing how it works, I decided to make this double elimination. Something you'll see for future classics as well. As for the judges, there were four: The God of Destruction Beerus, along with three familiar faces to some of our contestants, which were Baldroy, Murasakibara, and Makoto."
Footage of Beerus introducing himself first along with the other three judges appearing through a portal and introducing themselves as well as requested by Beerus was seen.
"And afterwards, the cooking went off without a hitch! The objective to win? Score the most points from the judges' scores. In terms of cooking, some groups were great, some got off to a rocky start but recovered, some stumbled to the finish, and one in particular just fell flat on their faces."
Footage of the 12 groups cooking each of their respective meals was seen.
"What was that one? The Kings. I mean wow. Heather had got them off to a promising start with the cookies, and then Midorima just came in and ruined all of it. Twice. Well technically once as Bakura had tricked Nimona into taking cookies, thereby making it seem like Midorima was the cause of the first time. As for the second time? Yeah, that one was actually him. Apparently he thought putting whole fruits into a cake instead of bits was a good idea. News flash, it wasn't and it got them a zero because of it. The Breakers win two in a row and thanks to Lotte's shakiness at the helm, literally in her case, secured her team second, and a date to the elimination ceremony as well."
Footage of the 12 foods being judged with each judge giving their particular scores was seen as well as notably the group Heather, Luz, Midorima, and Sly getting a score of zero thanks to Midorima.
"In between that however, we get some moments of Himuro and Kagami showing off their cooking prowess, Rei and Kagami getting more bonding time, who officially, thanks to both of them self-admitting this in their confessionals, unknowingly have feelings for each other. And in both of their cases, vehemently denying it in the forms of yelling. Weiss seeing another side to Aomine, along with cooking for him, and Mr. Wolf giving Haizaki a little talk. And yes, before you ask, I already knew Mr. Wolf went to jail. But I also knew he reformed since he was in the hunting challenge so there weren't going to be any issues from him. Along with some other nice ones, like Lotte and Lucy."
Footage of said moments between these particular contestants was shown.
"As for the elimination, there were, like I said, two. Midorima for his bad cooking, Bakura's meddling, and his accuracy being a threat. Mind you, this guy has never missed the entire time he was here, and his range is incredible. And for the Rats, MacArthur was eliminated. Reasoning: Her yelling being the cause of Lotte to accidentally add way too many onions into the meatballs. And some didn't take too kindly to how she talked to Lotte either. With Sanders being caught in the crossfire with an elimination from her as well."

"But before the ceremony, there was one more big piece of info that Midorima left Luz with: Somehow, two Akashis exist."
Footage of Midorima telling Luz about this and his past at Teiko was shown.
"What does that mean? Not sure, but I guess we'll find out that soon enough, along with whether or not those two hotheads will get together on Total...Drama...Across the Multiverse!"
*Total Drama Across the Multiverse Intro 2 Plays*
Cameras started to pop up on random parts of the island, with one of them sending Kurita flying, causing him to land on Blaineley who was posing for a picture in front of one of the cameras.
The cameras then go to the three planes as they were already in the air, catching a waving Launchpad who just that quickly lost control of the plane and had to regain control again, Mr. Bixby overreacting and almost crashing into a panicking Chef, who was the pilot of the third plane.
"Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine."
The camera, and by extension the planes enter the portal, as a shot from an alternate Earth can be seen, this Earth having several armored warriors called Guardians battling one another in arena. Another Guardian himself, Lord Shaxx, was revealed to have been watching from up above before putting both of his now Arc-energy infused fists together in front of the camera.
"You guys are on my mind."
The camera teleports to another Earth where Haizaki and Kise were battling on the dance floor which took place in a blast furnace, both copying one another's dance moves. Though it was Dewey that stole the show from both.
"You asked me what I wanted to be and now I think the answer is plain to see."
Though his few seconds of fame would be short-lived, to his agony as the camera changed, moving to Japan where Kunigami and Isagi were battling for a soccer ball on the soccer field only for Ben as XLR8 to take the ball with Albedo as Fasttrack behind him in pursuit. Jinpachi Ego was watching the whole thing overhead, pleased at what he saw with their competitive nature.
"I wanna be famous!"
Before Ben and Albedo run into the camera, it moves again to the famed Mario Kart track, Rainbow Road where Kurt was turning a corner on a Teku-themed Kart with Kaz right behind him, winking to the camera, only to get knocked out of the way by a green shell from Todd, who was on a bike.
"I wanna live close to the sun!"
Bringing things back to Canada, Fiona was seen on a stage, mic in hand singing only to have it snatched away by Rei, with Fiona trying to snatch it back, only for both to get in the other's face, angry and sending the mic into the air for Alejandro to catch it and start singing, showing off his white teeth at the end, only for Rei and Fiona to not care and try to tackle him for it, to his surprise and horror.
"Go pack your bags 'cause I've already won!"
The camera changes to Remnant where Team RWBY was seen combining their attacks to defeat Grimm with Penny, only for Natsu to come in and destroy everything including some of the surrounding trees. Natsu has his fists on his hips grinning for a job well done, and not noticing the burning trees behind him before everything was washed out by Aquarius, drenching all of them as Lucy could only shake her head at the damage caused.
"Everything to prove, nothing in my way, I'll get there one day."
Changing things to Japan, Zak Monday and Saturday were battling in the forest until Rocky and May came in swinging on vines with dynamite and grenades respectively, causing both to have to run away.
"Cause I wanna be famous!"
Bren was seen in an arena, preparing to battle a just as eager Bennett as both of them threw out cores that clashed, the waves of energy creating bright light in front of the camera.
"Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!"
On the island, Hailey and Scott were performing on stage only for Rocky to suddenly appear in front of them out of nowhere, playing a violin with Riley also jumping on stage to play a fiddle, battling against him.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"
Miyuki and Hiruma were playing Shogi against each other only for Monta to come in, catching a volleyball from Hinata and crashing into the table that both were playing on, an unhappy Hiruma standing above him.
"I wanna be, I wanna be"
With Monta running as bullets were behind him, he ended up running past Lotte and Libby, stepping on both of their books and sending them flying with an unsuspecting Aomine hit by both books as he was trying to secretly write more of his autobiography again.
"I wanna be famous!"
Weiss snatches the dirty magazine covering the notebook from him, hands on her hips as she frowned at him, not pleased that he had those magazines again.
Though both looked and saw Sena, Tangle and Blaze speeding past them as black, green and red-orange blurs were seen,with both Weiss and Aomine seeing where they were going which was to the docks to the boats as Heloise, Chris and Chef were waiting.
Aomine ran past to try and catch up to them as well with Weiss, noticing he snatched the magazine from her, shook her head and secretly blushing as she did.
Many of the contestants whistled the TD tune as Rei and Kagami were getting closer to one another only for Sena to accidentally run into Kagami as he fell on the ground, face first. Rei and others could only look down in surprise at Kagami with Sena in regret over what happened, Rei trying to whistle with everyone else as if she wasn't trying to kiss Kagami, cheeks red in the process. Zee and Murasakibara, with the latter yawning as both had snacks and soda in hand, walked on the boat last as Hiruma shot a rocket in the air that revealed the words "Total Drama Across the Multiverse" in the form of fireworks.

"Smash the Breakers! Kill the Kings! Smash the Breakers! Kill the Kings! Smash the Breakers! Kill the Kings!"
This was repeated by Hiruma as the Rats began to train again.
"Can't we have a nicer cheer?" Akko asked out loud as they did sit ups.
"Yeah. I'm really not sure if it's a good idea to antagonize our opponents like this." Lotte said, doing sit-ups with her.
Hiruma blew his whistle in both of their ears intentionally, causing both to cover their ears in pain.
"Less talking more reps!" Hiruma said.
"Smash the Breakers! Kill the Kings! Smash the Breakers! Kill the Kings! Smash the Breakers! Kill the Kings!" He continued to repeat before picking back up the dummbells he had and continuing to lift with his right arm.
Sendo, using his own dumbbells that he brought with him to the island, was lifting weights and allowed Natsu, Hiruma and Kagami to borrow some as well.
Priya was practicing her weapon fighting skills against Zero, with both using wooden staffs instead of actual weapons.
"Lotte's not wrong though. I'm almost certain this is going to make some on the other teams mad." Rally said, doing sit-ups.
"True. If it wasn't for the fact that Hiruma has shown he can get serious, he'd definitely be more trouble than he's worth honestly." Lanolin said, holding Rally's feet to the ground.

"Just because I told the f[censored]ing bookworm yesterday that training wasn't going to solve her problems, doesn't mean I was going to discard it altogether. If she doesn't have a good attitude the way she is now, she's not going to have one instantly by just putting muscles on her. Having a strong mind is just as important."

"Even as leaders, that doesn't make us above training. And plus, it sends a message to the rest of the team, especially those that aren't as strong or too confident in themselves."

As they continued training, Hailey and Scott were talking with Beta in their room, as the rest of their team was outside.
"You can't reveal yourself to people, are you crazy?" Hailey said to Beta.
"I should be the last person you should be asking that too when you've got wackos like Hiruma around. Or Rei for crushing on a buffoon like Kagami."
"Okay, fair point, but-" Hailey stopped before realizing something. "Hold on a second, Rei like, like likes Kagami?"
"Huh. How come I never noticed that before?" Scott said.
"Look, none of that matters! What matters is that you complete this objective! And I am supposed to help you complete in any way I can." Beta said.
"But isn't that what I'm here for?" Scott asked.
"No, you buffoon! Well, technically yes, but that is my actual purpose! And besides, think about it, you have a racing team with toy cars that have superpowers and floating robots, sports players with superpowers and a kid that literally talks to himself. You think a talking stuffed bear is gonna be any more out of the ordinary here?" Beta reasoned.
"Also fair point." Hailey said. "But, why now?"
"I told you, it's to help you complete your objective. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be doing this. Now let's get going. The sooner I get this out of the way, the better."
"Get what out of the way?" Scott asked.
"Just get outside. You'll see."
Meanwhile, Luz was talking to Marinette about what she learned from Midorima.
"Two Akashis huh? I'll be sure to help keep an eye on-"
Suddenly, something could be seen flying in the air.
"What the heck is that!?" Luz asked.
"Whatever it is, it's coming fast! Tikki! We've got to stop it!"
But right before they were about to transform, the object in question went downward and slammed into the water, causing the water to go upwards as electricity was seen in it, along with shaking the entire ground, including on the island. Everyone could feel it.
"The f[censored] was that!?" Rick and Reagan said simultaneously.
"Whatever it was, I'm sure all of the fish in that area are dead, that's for sure." Toxsa said.
Someone suddenly looked as if they were floating in the air before landing on the ground.
"EVERYBDOY! MEET ME HERE! ASAP!" Chris called out on a megaphone.
All of the contestants run to meet Chris in front of the large house that had several boards that fell off due to the impact.
Accompanying him, Chef, and the interns was a man that wore orange and white armor that had a fur-like material on the shoulders, a necklace with horns pointed downward and a helmet with a horn pointing out of it on the right side like a bull's.
"Greetings! Quite an introduction there wasn't it?" He said.
"Wait, that was you!?" Toxsa said in disbelief.
"YES! And..." He suddenly went to punch Yang only for her to punch back as their fists collide.
"Well look who it is! Team RWBY! You're the last four people I'd expect to see here. But, you know what... I LOVE IT!" He boomed.
"Everyone! Meet Lord Shaxx!" Chris announced.

"Well, at the very least, I know exactly what to expect with him. This is gonna be a fun time. Hopefully, with a lot less lower stakes."

"I was adamant on wanting to make a first impression my way! If I couldn't do that, then I wasn't going to come back! And as you can see, I made quite the impression! TO ALL THOSE WATCHING IN THE MULTIVERSE! PREPARE FOR WAR! AND DESTRUCTION! BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, DESTRUCTION! If you didn't know who Guardians were before this challenge, I guarantee you. YOU WILL AFTER THIS!"

"I'd imagine we're going to be facing something a lot similar to what was there the last time this guy was here. Don't know if I'll be able to play, but I'm definitely more than ready to. What happened here last time, won't happen again. Mark my words."

"As I said before, it is nice to meet you all! Chris has told me a lot about you. And what you can do! And I must say, I am more than excited to be able to call the Crucible matches you will be in, which is what I am in charge of where I'm from. In fact, I AM THE CRUCIBLE!"
"Now then, what is the Crucible? It is the place for guardians to participate in live-fire training against one another. Steel sharpens steel as they say. And what better way to test your skills as a light-bearing guardian... than to go against other guardians! These four should know. They've been in it before!"
"Yeah. Mayhem. Best Crucible game type. Ever." Yang said.
"Second on that." Ruby R. said.
"While it is a great way to flex power, some of the more strategic modes are my personal favorites. A lot more realistic in terms of ability usage in real battles." Weiss said.
"Still in disagreement over favorite modes I see." Shaxx said, laughing a little. "I assume you've already been told the basis of whom guardians are. So I won't repeat what you already know." Shaxx said.
"So no history lesson then? Awesome!" Todd said.
"Eager I see. Well then, I won't keep you waiting. Because today, you all will be put into the fires of the Crucible yourselves! I hope you're ready for war!"
"Will it be the same thing we were doing before?" Rally asked.
"Ah, I remember you. You were the one so enthusiastic about the weapons!"
"Yeah. Don't remind me."
"Not to worry. That wasn't to demean you. In fact, you'll be happy to know that you'll have access to even more weapons! And stronger ones!"
"Wait, do you think we'll be able to use ours?" Ruby R. asked.
"YES!"
"What kind of weapons do you guys have?" Zak S. asked.
"You'll have to see for yourselves. They're absolutely bada-" Yang started.
"Yang! Language!" Weiss scolded.
"Well? She's right. They are!" Shaxx said. "But to answer your question Rally, it is not. In fact, this will not be a four-on-four. Rather, it will be a six-on-six! In fact, unlike last time, I won't be secretive. I will tell you exactly what you all will be playing today! MAYHEM!"
"YES!" Yang and Ruby R. cheered.
"Originally, I decided to throw in some standard crucible modes. But I'm sorry. After what Chris told me, I just had to see it. ALL OF IT! ALL YOUR POWERS ON DISPLAY! NO LIMITS!"
"Here's how Mayhem will work for you. So listen closely to these rules." Shaxx started to explain. "Put on these suits. And then... DESTROY EACH OTHER FOR 7 MINUTES!"
A devilish grin was seen on Hiruma's face.

"Hiruma is the last person that needs to be anywhere near mayhem. Or any of those weapons."

"Looks like this challenge is right up our alley. Seems like almost everywhere the three of us have been it gets destroyed. So this should be easy."

"Sounds like a simple fighting challenge. That's fine by me. No complicated rules. No riding on those deathtraps. Just simple fighting!"

"For those that were there last time, you remember the last time I said you might die right? Yeah, with this, this is a different story. Your powers won't be limited. I don't care who you are, or how strong you think you are. Put on the suits. You will get hit by things from each other that quite literally, will kill you. If you don't want your loved ones, kids, parents, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, whoever, to see you get killed on live TV, I suggest you put them on. Heck, I made sure there were enough for everyone. I got Cody to help get the suits made to make sure they can handle everything your powers have to offer." Chris said. "Don't believe me? See for yourself."
Chris showcases some Crucible Mayhem matches. Nova Bombs, Thundercrashes, Hammer of Sols, Blade Barrages, along with several other guardian supers were seen. Including this were Guardians also annihilating, incinerating and disintegrating each other with rocket launchers,machine guns, grenade launches, lighting strikes from snipers and a machine gun, creating protective shields, shooting gatling guns, pushing them off railings to their death(they do reappear later), etcetera.
"Yeah, I can definitely see why you would have the suits." Reagan said.
"You have issues Chris. Seriously. I know we've said it a lot on this show, but this takes the cake." Heather said.
"Look, you won't even feel like you're wearing them that's the thing. The interactions the suits might have on you and your abilities, tools, weapons, etcetera will vary. And it's for your own benefit. I get to see you absolutely destroy each other. Maybe take out a little anger on your opposition, etcetera, and nothing happens! Except that. Along with some other things." Chris said as a guardian was just seen freezing and shattering another guardian to bits before the surviving guardian in question was shot by someone engulfed in solar energy with a pistol, causing them to explode.
Promptly after that, they and several others were annihilated as a rocket launcher unleashed the equivalent of a napalm strike on the ground, while another rocket appeared but was reflected back by a sliding guardian that had a shield in front of them, sending the shooter of the rocket flying.(though again, as Guardians, they all were revived and reappeared in another place in the arena).
"I JUST SAW SOMEONE GET BURNED ALIVE BY A NAPALM STRIKE IN A ROCKET LAUNCHER! IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MAKE ME FEEL ANY BETTER!?" Reagan yelled.
"If it makes you feel any better, you might have access to that stuff too." Chris said.
"IT DOESN'T!"
"To make things short, he's dead serious. There's suits for everyone here guys. Get them on." Heloise said.
After everyone put on the suits, as Toxsa's put his on, something inside his pocket glowed green. While some
"What's going on with my Core Brick?" Toxsa thought. "Are these suits interacting with them in some way?"
A surge of power was suddenly felt within him before his body was beginning to be engulfed with green energy in the shape of green cubes.
"What's... going on!?" Toxsa said.
Luz suddenly felt something in her pocket.
"Glyphs?" Luz said in disbelief.
"Master control activated." Was heard from Ben's omnitrix along with Albedo's Ultimatrix.
"Unbelievable. This technology was able to bypass the safeguards of Galvan technology!?" Albedo said in disbelief.
"Sweet!" Ben said.
Hiruma was loaded with guns. In fact, whatever gun he could think of, he had it and he shot the gatling gun he had all over the place to show his joy.
"YA-HAAAAAAAAAA!"
Toxsa's transformation was complete as this happened.
"Tenkai Strength! VALORN CORE ENGAGE!"
Toxsa was now in green armor based on a turtle. He had a green shield and a spear with a also had wings on his back with green eyes that glowed as well.
"Toxsa, what is that!?" Asta said.
"This is... it's complicated. Just know, that it has no business working here on this world. Whatsoever." Toxsa said.
"Tia Freyre!" Akko called out. "My magic works here? MY MAGIC WORKS!"
"Yes! All of your abilities are free to use here as long as you wear those suits! If you're chosen... GO HOG WILD! NO MERCY! DESTROY EACH OTHER! I INSIST!" Shaxx said. "Now. Sign these waivers please."
"Didn't we already sign contracts before the show?" Scott asked as Doyle and Chef handed them waivers.
"That's what makes this even more concerning." Becky B. said.
"Don't say I didn't warn you." Rocky said, dynamite in hand. Several more than what he actually had.
"Yeah, just like I also insist on doing this disclaimer for legal reasons. Total Drama is not liable for any injuries sustained in these Mayhem games. I've done the best I could. I got the best technology, and spent a heck of a lot more money on this than I should have. The funniest part is, no blood will be spilled here. There will be no gore. No one will be just cut open or anything like that. Some of the punches from these guys will be enough to probably kill them. Along with the weapons and vehicles used. Just wanted to let you know that now. If you do not want to see your children, loved ones, family member, friend, whatever, or just people in general get utterly annihilated, disintegrated, shatter, or injured, etcetera, on TV, even if it's temporary, change the channel now. Don't tune in to the next part." Chris said, not smiling at all.
"I'm serious. As funny as I think this'll be, and as fun some of you think this might be for the general audience that has no stakes other than personal favorite characters. This might not be so funny for those that are somehow related to them. If you want to skip, that's fine. That's what recaps are for.
