"Last time on Total Drama Across the Multiverse! I made a list and checked it twice for the teams. And no, I'm not talking about a Christmas List! I'm talking about a list of things for the contestants to do for their next challenge in Oceanside, California! Home of Hailey Banks and Scott Denoga! Although, speaking of lists, I think I have an idea for some future challenges. You'll see later."

Footage of Chris explaining where they were along with the challenge was shown.

"And like Scott and Hailey, multiple pairs from each team would pair up to work together to complete different tasks on the list. The first team to complete all tasks on the list within three hours would win the challenge. What were some of the tasks you ask? Nothing like just doing jumping jacks that's for sure."

Footage of the teams performing the different tasks on the list were shown.

"From drinking hot sauce to meeting some new and old faces to even kissing a teammate with onion breath, most of them weren't easy, for a variety of reasons. Heck, they even got to perform a musical about it. Though somewhere within all of that, it started to turn into a fight. And I don't mean just for first, I literally mean fights started. Add yet another place damaged. Thankfully, I had nothing to do with it, so nothing comes out of my pocket! Although I am upset about my cabins getting destroyed. Again!"

Footage of Zero, Eliza, Reimu, Rook, WordGirl and Albedo fighting along with Monta, Rei, Shiro and Nimona battling for the bricks was shown.

"Okay, yes, the Kings won. Hooray. But seriously, I'm more concerned about the bad precedent this is already setting with my stuff being destroyed."

"Maybe not get guys that have powers like that then? Because it's clear that despite you whining about it, no one cares. Not even the nice guys. Most you'll get is a sorry and that's about it. You get what you bargained for bud. Just saying." Heloise said casually on the beach chair she was laying in, sunglasses on.

Footage of the Kings winning said challenge was shown.

"I would be annoyed, but now that I think about it, you gave me an idea. I could send these guys over to Total Drama Trainwreck Express and have them wreck that Chris' stuff. All I have to do is say it's for a challenge and I guarantee it'll happen. And yes, that's the one that sent that unwanted guest over here. But I won't, luckily for him because we've already wasted enough time."

Footage of Nimona's elimination was shown.

"By the way guys, Nimona got eliminated for forgetting to do one of the tasks she said she would do at the beginning of the challenge. While the other teams decided to get the keeping your eyes open task out of the way immediately. And she helped contribute to them not completing another task as well by burning all the bricks. Just to let you know since Chris forgot to do the recap and is instead choosing to tell you how he could hypothetically be a jerk to people." Heloise recapped.

"Okay first off, that's not hypothetical. I already said I was gonna do it had Shiro not messed things up, and second-"

"What's gonna happen next? Why is Chef not doing this instead of me? And what else is Chris going to complain about in this episode? Find out in Total….. Drama….. Across the Multiverse!"

"Now wait a second, that's my-" Chris started before the cameras cut him off.

We open up the start of the episode with the teams eating yet another below average meal. This time? The ones that have to eat will tell you.

"Oh wow. We get a choice of what we want to make our stomachs suffer with this time. Cold pizza or some of the dryest looking hot dogs I have ever seen." Tsukishima said.

"Take your pick. Trash or garbage." Noah said.

"You don't happen to have a potion to make this taste at least marginally better do you?" The blocker asked Sucy, who sitting on the left of him.

"If I did, don't you think I would have used it?"

"Eh, fair point."

Joining Kurt, Razer and Adrien at another table was Dawn and later, Albedo.

"This food is absolutely deplorable. At this rate, I can predict there will be a loss simply because we lack the sustenance of a proper meal." Albedo said.

"The worst part is, I don't even know if you're joking or not." Adrien said.

"I am not. I think you should be aware of that by now."

"Not much else we can do I don't think. If protesting didn't work, I don't see much else we'd be able to do after that." Kurt said.

"I suppose perseverance is the key." Dawn reasoned.

"Last time I checked, starving people is not perseverance." Adrien said.

"Regardless… out of curiosity, what exactly are your motivations to enter a competition such as this? Putting yourself through these conditions." Albedo asked, changing the subject.

"More for the money than anything else. Found out about this because of Vert being here in a season." Kurt said.

"And I am assuming you're all here for the same thing. Predictable."

"Actually, I don't really care too much about the money. I want to make friends more than anything else."

"And you would choose to be at a place like this to do it?"

"Actually…. I didn't even come here on my own accord. My father sent me here. Though the friends thing was my own motivation for wanting to come here. Not his."

"With all due respect, sending you here was a mistake."

"Honestly, I've gotta disagree. Outside of a few things, it's been pretty fun."

"Hal suggested that I come here. To relax from my quest to find Aya. And so far, as unfamiliar as I am with some things here, it has been relaxing." Razer said.

"Aya. I assume this is someone affiliated with you in some way." Albedo said before turning to Dawn. "You're the one I don't understand the most. I have expressed no interest in accepting the help or advice you have consistently volunteered to give me. What do you have to gain from wanting to help me? If you wanted to get further, you would you would have offered an alliance with me."

"If you want to know why I am competing here again, I want to use the money to help Mother Earth. As for your second question, it's because I genuinely see you as a decent person on the inside. The same way I saw Haizaki. I have no ulterior motives for helping you."

"Then why didn't you do anything to help him?"

"I didn't have to. There were already people on his team that were more than capable of doing that. If I tried to but in I might have hurt more than helped."

"Okay, so you asked us all of this. Now it's your turn. Why are you here?" Kurt asked Albedo.

Albedo was silent for several seconds before deciding to speak. "I suppose I owe you an answer since you all have done your part to help this team earn victories. I am here to use the money to help return home. As I have already told you, I am a Galvan. Meaning that I am not from this planet, like you all. Winning will be a quicker way for me to return home."

"What happened? Did your ship crash here?" Razer asked.

"Yes. I came into contact with Tennyson's DNA and that was how I looked like him. Though the close contact with it damaged it, hence why the colors are the opposite of his." Notably after both of these answers, his eye twitched.

"Interesting. I am assuming that this replicated a different version of the Omnitrix for you as well?"

"Incorrect. I built my own version and upgraded it. And with it, many of the forms that I have available are able to achieve a stronger, more evolved form. How this evolution occurs may be too much for you to understand, but just know that the forms are stronger than the originals."

"I see. I wish you good luck for this competition then. Perhaps, even if you don't win, I can assist you in finding your way back home." Razer offered.

"No need. I will do all of that myself." Albedo said quickly.

"Alright."

***Confessional***

Albedo(Radical Rats):

"Admittedly, I was expecting Razer to be a lot more forceful or persistent in his offer. I am glad that he was wasn't."

***End Confessional***

Meanwhile, at another table…..

Lotte sighed as she put down her tray. Her other red team roommate, Akko was face-first, flat on the table she was at.

"Uh…..Akko."

"Need….. food. Real food." Akko revealed her sickly face, groaning as if she was a zombie, scaring Lotte.

"What's her problem?" Morty asked, also scaring her as she jumped. "Oh snap. I didn't mean to scare you. Sorry."

"It's okay. As for Akko, she-"

Before Lotte could even finish, Akko got right into Morty's face. "You want to know why I look like an undead zombie? Because the food here suuuuuuucks sooooooo baaaaaad." She said, pulling down her face.

"Oh yeah. W-well, look on the bright side. We get to eat at home, right?"

"Even so, that doesn't make this okay! Seriously Lotte, how can you sit here and stomach this!?"

"Actually, I wasn't going to eat this but…." Lotte responded before her stomach was heard growling. "I'm so hungry. But what am I supposed to do?"

"Here. Why don't you guys have this?" Morty offered, handing over a couple of snacks he packed in a backpack he brought with him. "I was gonna eat this myself but, I think you guys need this more than me. And seeing Murasakibara, he's probably gonna run out of snacks sooner or later. I know it's not much but-"

"Cookies!" Akko shouted before quickly getting them out of Morty's hand, scaring him at how quickly she was able to do so.

Lotte was the exact opposite, calmly grabbing the crackers. "Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Maybe next time I should bring snacks too. Or ask my parents to pack food for me."

"No problem." Morty said. "And actually, that's not a bad idea. It'll be like school again. Wait…. T-that's not a good comparison."

"Actually, with how often we come here, why not call it a summer camp?"

"Nah. As fun as a lot of you guys are, I don't know if I'd go that far."

Lotte could only give a slight smile and laugh a little. "I guess you're right. Have you been to one? A real one, that is."

"Nah. I've gone camping before though with my family."

"How was it? I've never been camping before."

"Uh…. it was….. interesting. Not gonna lie, I can't exactly say I learned a single thing about camping since like half the time I was playing games or flying a ship."

"Wait a second, doesn't that defeat the purpose of camping then?" Akko asked, after devouring the cookies.

"Yeah, kinda. That day was something. But you know what? I'm kinda glad that we have to deal with this over like real camping."

"You mean you'd rather deal with frozen pizza and sand dogs than a real summer camp with real food?" Akko got in Morty's face, which made him just as uncomfortable as Lotte was.

"Uh, w-what are you…."

"Just making sure you weren't cloned by Rick or something."

"What? Why the heck would he do that?"

"You never know. He has a lot of weird stuff. Because what you're saying is absolute crazy talk! Give me real food over this any day."

"I'm not saying the food is good. 'Cause oh yeah, it sucks. I'm just saying that I wouldn't be able to survive out in the woods. 2 days tops. Then I'm a goner. This? I honestly think I'd be able to do well even without Rick you know? Games, trivia, racing. That's stuff I think I can do good enough to have a chance at maybe even winning the whole thing."

"I sincerely doubt that. With all due respect, you are probably the weakest member on your team after the performances that Emma, Noah, Bennett and Cicini have shown." Karin stated, passing by. "I won't go as far as calling you useless as some here might like Urien. That role goes to Dragonfly and Dan. And I don't mean the one here. But to say you have a chance at winning is laughable. The strength of the competition here is too large for you to overcome with sheer persistence and self-belief alone. Eventually, you'll be put in a situation that will show just exactly that."

"You say with all due respect yet you literally gave nothing but reasons as to why he can't win. If you just came here just to put people down then just leave!" Akko called out.

"I guess you told napkins and table manners to leave as well."

"So now you're insulting me too?"

Karin ignored her remark. "I would love to be proven wrong, but I am sincerely going off what I see. Morty has the least chance out of all the members left on his team to potentially win. Whether with Rick or by himself."

"You can't seriously be-" Morty started before Lotte interrupted him.

"So what? You don't even know what the challenges are. For all we know they could be something you're not good at! The way I see it, I really do think anyone has a chance to win as long as they're here." Lotte spoke up.

"We shall see." Karin said before walking away.

"You didn't have to do that. I had it." Morty said to Lotte.

"Oh. I-I'm sorry." Lotte quickly apologized, looking away.

"I'm not mad at you or anything. Probably should have made that clear. I still appreciate it. From both of you guys."

"Don't worry about it!" Akko said before giving a thumbs up.

"Yes. Both of us…." Lotte said low.

"What was that Lotte?"

"Oh! Nothing! Just you're welcome. That's all." Lotte said, making a shooing motion to quickly dismiss it.

Sena and Kurita sat at the same table as them. Sena noticeably didn't have food. "Sup guys? No food huh? I don't blame you." Morty said before laughing.

"Actually, we ate before we got here. Hiruma got us to practice." Sena said.

"Eat after a workout. Makes sense."

"Even for Total Drama, Hiruma wants us to keep training hard." Kurita said before stuffing himself with more hot dogs. Dry or not, he didn't care. As long as it tasted decent and wasn't too dry, he was okay with it.

"Speaking of that loon…." Akko said before eyeing him at another table with Mamori, Eijun and Asta outside as they could see them through the window.

"Hey! Shoutsta!" Hiruma called out.

"Uh, you mean me?" Asta asked.

"You like your food warm, right?"

"Uh, sure. Why?"

Hiruma pulled out a flamethrower to the horror of Eijun and Mamori.

"What's wrong guys? Why are you-"

The next thing they knew, fire came out of it, horrifying Asta as Hiruma grinned, heating up the food.

"He's been pretty quiet lately. Outside of a few things here and there." Akko commented.

"With what he's doing now, it's hard to tell." Morty said as an annoyed Noelle was putting the fire out.

"Actually, he has calmed himself a lot compared to most of the yelling he was doing before." Lotte said.

"Maybe he learned that acting like a complete psycho isn't going to do him any favors when it comes to people dealing with him." Fiona commented, joining them.

"Or he realized he doesn't have to be." Miyuki remarked, about to discard his plate. "The boat and the guns are all theatrics."

"If it's all theatrics, explain tasing people and the tank." Fiona said.

"And that's the tricky part. You don't know what's theatrics, and what's not. He's been shown to be crazy enough to try absolutely anything."

"Okay, so have you found a way to beat him?"

Miyuki could only grin and push up his glasses as if he was about to reveal a master plan. "Nope!"

"THEN WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT SPEECH FOR!?"

"I think you forgot what an inside voice and toothpaste is for." He quipped, fanning his face.

Fiona could only yell out in frustration. "YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY!? I BRUSHED MY TEETH THANK YOU VERY MUCH!"

Miyuki was already walking away.

"COME BACK HERE!" Fiona shouted.

"Your breath smells nice." Lotte said.

Fiona sighed. "Thank you. That idiot was just lying to mess with me. Which worked. Unpopular opinion, but I think he's more annoying than Hiruma. Though I guess some of it might be bias since I have to deal with him more often."

"I guess that makes sense. Interactions within the teams happen more often than inter-team interteam ones."

"Some of it I think is Mamori too. Random thought, I know there was that whole thing that Ruby had but….. do you think they're actually… you know?" Akko asked.

"What? Oh man. I-Imagine that. I don't even wanna think about that…." Morty said.

Akko knew exactly what Morty was getting at. "What? Ew! I don't mean that. That's disgusting. I mean…." Akko made kissing noises.

"Oh. I don't know." Morty said. "Sorry. I uh….. yeah." He said, grabbing the back of his head.

"If you're talking about romance, then what was Morty talking about?" Lotte asked Akko before she whispered in her ear which caused the witch's cheeks to turn red. "Oh."

"Aw jeez. Now I feel bad. I'm sorry." Morty apologized.

"You don't have to apologize. I just-" Lotte before being interrupted.

Urien slammed his fists on another table so loud that it startled her.

"Unacceptable! Three days of this garbage!?" Urien yelled out.

"Dude, you're banging on the table like you don't eat at home. I don't think the food's good either, but really?" Zak M. said.

"Well how else is he supposed to react? Be happy about it?" Karin said.

"Oh I don't know, maybe not bang on the table like a little baby." He said before Urien reached two seats to the right of him and picked Zak up. He tried to get out of his grasp but couldn't before attempting to use his legs to kick off of him.

"Urien, that's enough." Mr. Wolf said.

"He's right, this is unnecessary." Karin added.

"It won't be enough until he learns respect like Haizaki did." Urien said.

"Yeah, because you've done so much for your team to do that. Entitled b[censored]." Rick said from a distance. This caused Urien to put down Zak. He was about to attack him when he turned around but Karin grabbed him and put him in an inescapable lock.

"Alright! Alright! Let go already!" Zak said.

"As if you can be trusted enough for me to listen to you. Not until this is resolved." Karin said.

"The rest of your team might be scared to do s[censored] to you but I'm not. Hope you know that you got your a[censored] handed to you by a damn kid." Rick said.

"What?" Urien said, baffled by what Rick had just told him.

"VR. And Rick's right. Listen pal, I don't know where you come from with all your stupid little business suits or whatever, but guess what? The food sucks. Everyone here knows the food sucks. The difference is, at least we don't act like a manchild over it." Dan said. "And as a matter of fact. If you can afford those suits, then why the heck are you here? At least the others make sense."

"With your logic, Karin and the other rich girls don't need to be here either." Noah said.

"Quiet! I'm trying to make a point here!"

"Which is?"

"I'd say it if you'd be quiet!"

"Never asked for you to back me up, so shut up." Rick said.

"I would crush your frail little bones right now. But that would be a waste of my time and energy." Urien said.

"Oh yeah, I'm so scared. Get the hell out of here with that. I've got more balls than your own leaders to stand up to you. This is why your team sucks a[censored]."

"Oh yeah, says the guy that's a drunken mess half the time." Reagan said.

"The f[censored] does that have to do with anything?"

"Ask yourself that when you took an unnecessary shot at our entire team."

"I wouldn't be taking shots if you were actually decent."

"Because we are supposed to respect someone that outright quits on their team?" Eijun spoke up.

"You guys are still on that? Jesus Christ get some new material. You can't come up with anything new to insult me with so you have to constantly run back to the past."

"Okay Rick, I-I think that's enough." Morty said, walking up to him to try to pull him away from the conflict.

"Ooh, sensing a bit of tension here. Nice!" Chris said, showing up.

"What the heck are you wearing?" Reagan asked noticing the different getup.

"You mean you don't recognize the getup? It's a-me! Mario! Can anyone say 'uncultured'?"

"I know what it is you idiot. I mean why the heck are you wearing it?"

"Another thing, that is absolutely the worst Mario impression I have ever heard." Tsukishima said.

"Well, at least it's better than Coast Chris. Am I right?" Chris said.

"What?"

"Nothing. Just come on outside and I'll explain the rest of what you'll be doing today."

"See you outside, Rick." Reagan said before doing the "I'm watching you" gesture.

"Pfft. Whatever." Rick said dismissively before Hanamiya got his attention after bumping into him a bit.

"Sorry." Hanamiya said.

"Like I said, whatever. It's fine."

"Glad to hear that. Although I did hear a bit of that exchange that was going on. Got a question for you. You're a smart guy. Which team has had the longest winning streak here?"

Rick had no response.

"That's what I thought." He said before walking away to throw away his plate, with Rick frowning at him as he did.

***Confessional***

Hanamiya(Wave Breakers):

"What I said wasn't me being fake. That was a hundred percent genuine. Even if I can't stand some of them, teammates are still teammates. Let's just hope he doesn't get matched with me. I'll show him that even the 'Smartest Man in the Universe' can be broken like any other person. With the right tools of course."

***End Confessional***

Everyone inside the main lodge met Chris and those that were eating outside.

"Alright! As you can tell by the outfit I'm wearing, today we're doing, at least for this first part, a challenge based off the famous Nintendo character, Mario!" Chris triumphantly announced before looking around along with Heloise and Doyle.

"Uh…. what the heck are you doing?" Tangle asked, sharing the sentiments of several others.

"Looking out for the Nintendo ninjas." Heloise said.

"Huh?" Several people said.

"Copyright. Nintendo has been known to crack down on the use of their properties, including Mario." Huey F. explained.

"I would say they wouldn't care but considering how much popularity this show garners, I wouldn't be surprised if they did decide to take legal action against you." Becky F. said.

"So you mean to tell me they send actual ninjas?" Kagami said in disbelief. "I get it it's their stuff but come on! That's way too far!"

"No, they don't send real ninjas. People just say that because of how much they really, really crack down on their properties. In some cases, taking it way too far to the point to where people think that's actually the case. And honestly, I have to say I'm one of those people, as crazy as it sounds." Reagan said.

"Never thought you'd be into games like that." Doyle said.

"Nah. Everybody knows Nintendo. I just don't really have the time to play. I can't even really say it's nostalgia for me either. Was always told that stuff was a waste of time."

"Actually, I have no idea what you're talking about." Kaz said.

"Thought I was the only one. I kinda felt bad at first so I didn't say anything." Asta said.

"Yeah….. I'm at a loss too." Natsu said.

"I would say that's gonna be another gaming session but…. no mansion." Toxsa said.

"Yikes. Usually I'm the one out of the loop. Weird to feel like I'm the one that's more in touch now." Reagan said.

"Hold on a sec, if you think there's actual ninjas, then why the heck did you tell me there's no ninjas like I'm crazy?" Kagami pointed out.

"Hmm….. well, you got me there." Reagan said.

"Maybe there's the realistic part of you that says no and there's the conspiracist part of you that says yes?" Doyle reasoned.

"Eh….. Sure? Let's go with that."

"Well, good news is, regardless of if you know Nintendo, have heard of Mario or even played a single game, or even, as you'll see soon, some of the lesser known games that's also here that I'm sure 99% of you and the audience combined had no idea at least one of these even existed before today, you all should be able to understand this next challenge pretty well. Especially since you've already done it this season." Chris began to explain.

"Obscure games huh? I'm down. There's always some good hidden gems out there." Toxsa said.

"Recycling challenges in the same season? That's a new low even for you Chris." Courtney said.

"Never said it was a complete recycle. They're similar but not a hundred percent the same. Your challenge today will be racing! Kart racing style!"

"Racing again huh? It appears I'll finally be able to pay you back." Diana said to Kageyama.

"So you admit I beat you at your own game?" Kageyama responded.

"Absolutely not. Admittedly, that was undecided. However, I will admit that your actions influenced the outcome of the game."

"So did yours."

"You two aren't the only one with unfinished business. Besides, Diana has more of a connection to me than to you. Your only relationship was through your exchange in the broom race." Karin remarked, referring to Weiss with the first sentence.

"Then how come she's acknowledged me more than you?"

"Has she come to you for personal training? You aren't even on our level when it comes to social class. And frankly, overall, she and I have performed better overall in these challenges than you have."

"NOW HOLD ON JUST A SECOND! DON'T THINK 'CAUSE YOU DID SO GOOD AND DID YOUR LITTLE ITEMS ON THE LIST THAT YOU'RE BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE!"

"Think? I've proven that I'm more than capable of handling myself. With all due respect, you're the most unproven out of those that have chosen to take the leadership role."

Kageyama looked as if he was about to blow a gasket.

"If you don't agree with my statement, then prove me wrong. Prove yourself."

"Glad to see you all are already invested in this. Sweet! Let me explain what's about to happen for the first out of five races before we do anything else so bare with me please." Chris began. "So for starters, the first race is going to take place on the is-"

Suddenly, screaming was heard.

"Uh, what was that?" Doyle asked.

"Sounded like… Cody?" Heather said.

"Oooh wee that boy can yell." Chef commented.

"-so as I was saying, before I was….. oddly interrupted by Cody, the first race is actually going to take place on the island. And by island I mean Pahkitew Island, not here. Just like Coast Chris, but better!" Chris finished.

"Yeah we still have no idea what you're talking about." Tsukishima said.

"Oh yeah. Let's open the portal there and then I'll explain everything I promise." Chris said before opening a portal.

Pahkitew Island(Total Drama Pahkitew Island)

After everyone goes through the portal, it closes. The first thing everyone noticed was how completely different this island looked compared to Wawanakwa and the simplistic island the mansion was originally on before it was destroyed.

"What the heck is this place Chris?" Heather asked.

"You've got three islands Chris!? Man, you are absolutely rollin' in the dough." Zee said.

"Oh yeah. None of you know about this huh? Welcome to Pahkitew Island in Western Canda! Home of Total…. Drama….. Pahkitew Island! Which, now that Zee says that, I should probably come up with a name for the island we meet at huh?" Chris said.

"Hmm….. how about Multiversal Island? Nah. Hmm… McLean Island?"

"I like that second one but no. Not creative enough."

"Is there even a reason to do so at this point? It's not like we have to live there anymore." Sly reasoned.

"I still would like to give it a name for it." Chris said, continue to think, tapping a finger on his stubbled chin.

"This is a waste of time. Get to the challenge!" Urien said impatiently. Though with him, it was more of a command than anything.

"Quiet! I literally had it and then you messed it up. Now just for that, we're not gonna start until I can think of one."

Several people groaned in annoyance.

"Nice job." Dan said sarcastically.

Urien was trying to do his best to contain his anger but the combination of Dan going out of his way to put him down along with Chris' antics wasn't going to make it easy.

A little over a minute passed before he got it, snapping his fingers to indicate that he did.

"I got it! ATM Island!"

"For Across the Multiverse right? Cool!" Zee remarked.

"And also for how much money this season's gonna print me!"

"Double meaning. Gotta admit, that's a good one." Louie commented.

"Thank you, thank you." Chris said, bowing.

"You know that only actually works if people clap for you?" Aomine remarked.

"Eh, I guess it can work without it. Would still be weird though." May said.

"Now then, let's get back to what I was talking about before. When I mean Coast, I mean another Chris in another universe. Who is currently hosting Total Drama Universe. Fun fact, at least from all of the known alternate seasons seen so far, that Chris has been the only one to actually use Pahkitew Island for a full season. So good on him for being creative! Too bad I'm about to steal his thunder for a bit." Chris said before laughing.

"Steal his thunder? There is a Chris with thunder abilities?" Razer questioned.

"No. It's an expression. Although, it would be pretty sweet for me to have powers like yours. Wouldn't use 'em here if I did though. I'd get hurt and then it'd no longer be fun. As the saying goes, 'Ain't no fun when the rabbit got the gun'."

"Another expression." Ben said before either Rook, Ryoma or Razer questioned it.

"What I mean by that is that this idea for this race is literally just his. But with improvements! Something that you'll see a trend of instead of Choose Your Own Challenge Week returning. Cruise me, expect something from you too. Just you wait." Chris said, rubbing his hands together.

"So now you've resorted to stealing other people's challenges. Just when I think you can't get any lower." Rally started.

"It's not stealing if you give credit and make changes to it." Chris said.

"There is a such thing as being transformative in your work. So I guess that's fine." Molly reasoned.

"Depends on how transformative it is." Becky F. said.

"Man you are full of yourself. And I know that's rich coming from me when all we talk about at Blue Lock is ego." Isagi said.

"Eh, so far you're actually pretty nice. I wouldn't call you egotistical by any means. It's during the games that you really get into it. Like your personality just changes." Lucy said.

"I guess. Never really put much thought into it. I just really want to win that's all."

"Which is completely understandable. The spirit of competition is a good thing. So long as it doesn't go too far I personally enjoy it." Akashi remarked. "The most important thing at the end of it is to have fun. Not just victory."

"Akashi is a hundred percent correct. Despite my remarks about some of us being in different social classes, my respect for some of you as strong opponents is something that I cannot deny. Isagi included. It wouldn't be a challenge for me if you didn't give your all." Karin remarked.

"Fun? The objective is to win at all costs. Only after that can any of your little 'fun' can come along." Skipper remarked.

"So when you mean at all costs, you would resort to cheating your way to a win?"

"Absolutely not. But like my fellow blonde-haired commando over there, I'm willing to make the hard decisions that no one else will to win." Skipper said, referring to Hiruma, who held a water gun. Interestingly enough, his right arm was wrapped with bandages. Something that both he, Eliza, Miyuki, Heather, Alejandro and Hanamiya all noticed.

"I see he's chosen to continue to play even with that broken arm. I'll make him regret that decision. As you can see from my eye, it's completely fine now. My vision has been completely restored. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for him. Like I said before, strip his guns away and his carefree attitude and you have nothing more than mere flesh and blood who screams all the same. What I can do is a thousand times worse than anything Hanamiya thinks he can do to me or others with his little threats and miniscule contributions."

"Good to hear all of that. Makes for even better TV, cheating or not. Now for this one, this is where things branch off from what Universe did. So first things first, before I let you get to building, I need to tell you who's going to be racing first. It'll be teams of 3 for this race." Chris began.

"So for starters, Kagami, Natsu and Lucy will be Team 1. Jotaro, Sly and Octavia will be Team 2. Johnny, Zak and Bakura will be Team 3!"

"Strange. How come he never said our team names?" Bakura commented.

"I mean at this point, we should know what teams we're on, so I don't think it really matters honestly." Kagami said.

"Even so, he's always done it before. Why stop now?"

"Stop asking stupid questions and get to picking your vehicle already." Zak said.

"Hold it! Not so fast! I'm still not done explaining yet." Chris said.

"What is this a lecture? What else could you possibly have to say? It's literally the same thing as last time but with Karts."

"Actually, it's not the same thing. I've said that multiple times that it's similar but it's not the same thing. You'd understand that if you actually listened instead of constantly talking over me to interrupt."

"Fine. Just hurry up."

"As I was saying, for those of you that actually have vehicles of your own, you'll actually be able to use those here. But if you don't, the standard options are available for you too. With some modifications of course. But, unlike Mario Kart, each person will choose a role for their team, where one of you will fall into one of three categories: Speed, Technique, or Power. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses along with allowing you to pick up items that no one from any other category can pick up. You can read up all about them in the machines. You'll get the ability to choose any one you want, but once you make that decision you cannot change it, so choose wisely. And if you're unsure, you're automatically recommended one based on what we've seen so far from each of you."

"Not to mention, asking to change it at the last minute or constantly will annoy me because I'm the one that has to make sure the modifications installed are the correct ones. Changing it will make me have to take them off, add the right ones on and check again. So to avoid that headache, and me popping a vein and probably hurting someone, we're just not going to do that." Heloise added.

"Alright, head to the machines and get to choosing people! You've got 10 minutes!"

"Alright guys, this one's for the audience. While the teams get to choosing, here's a bit of a rundown for each of the roles they'll have available to them for this race. Starting with Speed." Chef said before reading off a card.

"Speed has balanced handling, has the highest potential top speed and can use the Radial Burst, a purple field that pushes away opponents and blocks their attacks. They can also use Red Wisps to leave behind flames that burn opponents. However, their defense and acceleration is very poor, so make sure you don't get hit!"

"Technique has great handling to keep you in control and high acceleration to get you back in the race quick in case you're hit. You'll also be able to attract rings to you like a magnet. If they're close enough. Defense and speed is nothing great but nothing too bad either. If you like a balanced attack this is for you. You can even pick up Magenta Wisps to disrupt the opponent's sound and sight so you get to feel like Lanolin for a day!"

"Power has the best defense and three exclusive power-ups compared to one. From lasers, to spikes and even a pocket void! They may not be very fast, but if you want to be a tank, then this is for you!"

"And that's all folks! Now let's see what the racers are up to!"

Kagami:

Rei was alongside Kagami to help him choose.

"Alright, so I don't exactly have anything to drive with, so I guess I can go with the basic Kart. Can't go wrong with that." Kagami said.

"You're not going to choose the color?" Rei asked. The Kart was currently grey.

"I mean I guess I can? How much time is left?"

"5 minutes."

"Well, let's go with red."

"No decorations, no numbers. You really are a simple guy huh?"

"I guess. I don't mind tricking things out, but I don't want to spend all this time customizing it then it gets damaged."

"Hmm… fair….. but still, it's fun."

"Okay, next up, role…. Power is recommended for me. What do you think?"

"Personally, I would have chosen technique, but at the end of the day, it's up to you. Go with what you think will help you feel the most comfortable."

"Uh…. Damn. If I go with power I might be moving like a snail. But I get the most attacks too. Let me see what Natsu and Lucy are picking. Hey Natsu! Lucy! What have you guys got?"

Natsu:

"Well, since Power's got the most attacks, that's what I chose. Plus, it was recommended for me so that had to be a good choice, right?"

"Well not exactly. It may be recommended, but it might not guarantee to be a good choice for you." Rei said.

"Well, it's a bit too late to change it now. Besides, I think I'll be fine. Combine these cool attacks with my own, and we should be in good shape." He said confidently before actually turning the machine around. "Also, check it out! Pretty sweet huh? I even got a little glider on it!"

His Kart was the standard one like Kagami's, though his was black and had flames on it. The glider was also blue and had a cat on it.

"See? He customized his."

"Come on it's not that big of a deal. And who the heck is that on the glider?" Kagami said, noticing the cat on the glider. Though it looked as if someone scribbled it on.

"It's Happy! Not sure if he'll be able to help me so it'll be like he's here without actually being here."

"Awwww." Rei, Happy and others said simultaneously.

"That's Happy? Doesn't look like him." Kagami said.

"Come on, I mean you've got the nose, the blue fur and the little green backpack too."

"Nope, still don't see it."

"Well, it's Happy! You think it's good right Lucy?"

"Huh?" Lucy looks over at his machine after he turned it himself. "Uh….it's great!"

"See! How come she can see it and you can't?"

"Well maybe if you actually drew it better I could tell! That doesn't even look like his wings! That's just two triangles!"

"How else was I supposed to draw him!?"

"I don't know, maybe actually make it look like him!?"

"Oh yeah, says the guy that didn't even try to make his kart look cool."

"Cause it's a waste of time! What is that even gonna do!?"

"It's fun!"

"Oh yeah so much fun making s[censored]tty drawings! Ya just had to mess up the flames with that stupid glider didn't ya!?"

"Well I tried my best! Not my fault I had to draw with that little stick over there instead of a real pen."

"WHERE THE HECK DO YOU GET ALL OF THOSE GUNS!?" Natsu and Kagami shouted before Hiruma could only cackle.

"Where'd I get my guns? From the store of course! Since the f[censored]ing wolfman froze everything and we got sent back home, I decided to upgrade my arsenal." He said before pulling out several toy guns, from Nerf guns to water guns and cackling again. "Ya-ha."

"Everybody knows ladies love motorbikes. And of course, I had to go speed. 'Cause I'm a speed demon."

"And also, I had a choice to go with mama's car but, I'd feel terrible if something happened to it, so, I had to choose somethin' else. And I think I made the right decision."

Zak chose the Fiskertrike and decided to customize it with a skull and bones themed look.

"Now that's more like it."

He then chose the power role.

Bakura:

"Hmm…. Looks like Zak and Johnny picked power and speed respectively. Technique it is. Besides, it is recommended for me after all." Bakura said, choosing his role after choosing his vehicle, which was a motorcycle.

"Strange. I was going to pick the Sports Coupe, but for some reason, I chose the bike instead. Not sure if it was a mistake on my part or what. But, I suppose it'll still be fun regardless."

"I picked the bike. And customized it myself. That fool was about to choose some slow little car and potentially cost us the race. Regardless of what role was chosen, I wasn't about to allow him to make the decision of the vehicle."

Octavia was finalizing her customization, making her sports bike a dark magenta and black with white stars on it.

"That should do it. Perfect." Loona said, smiling.

Lucy:

"Time's up!" Chris called out.

"Wait! Wait! Just one more-" The machines were locked off, not allowing her to finish her customization of her vehicle.

"I told you ten minutes. No more time."

"But I wasn't done customizing it yet." Lucy whined.

"Does it matter? Jeez, who the hell cares what it looks like." Kagami said.

"A lot of people do actually. Myself included. If I was to be in the race. Wouldn't be anything too fancy, but I'd definitely care about that and the parts." Rally said.

"Yeah, whatever. You wouldn't be saying that if it got destroyed." Kagami said.

"What was that!?" Rally shouted, his commented seemingly struck a nerve.

"Stop being so insensitive." Rei scolded.

"Insensitive? How!? It's the truth!" Kagami insisted.

"Even if that is true, you can't just assume everyone's like you and doesn't care about what their cars look like." Lucy said.

"Okay, okay. I apologize."

Rei softly jabs him in the arm. "Don't lose this and get yourself eliminated. Some people here are already not a fan of your comments as it is."

"Don't worry about me. I got this. You got your chance to shine and show out last challenge. Now it's my turn."

"Alright, now that everyone has chosen their vehicles and roles, let me explain how this race is going to work along with giving you a look at the track. Follow me please!" Chris said.

Everyone was taken to the track with the nine racers already being at the starting line.

"Your vehicles will be brought to you in the next couple of minutes. Until then, patiently listen to the layout of this track and what you can expect. This will be divided into three sections. The first will be a drive through the forest. Don't worry, there are no animals here so you'll be fine. As long as you don't hit the trees. Then, the second section will have you driving over the water, similar to what you all experienced in the first race of the first Gran Prix. Then finally, you'll make your way upwards. Not to the mountains, but allllllll the way up there!" Chris pointed, referring to the large ramps that shot upwards, with a boost.

"You can't be serious." Octavia said.

"Deadly. Hope you can keep your lunch in."

"You're implying that we actually ate a good bit of what was served." Emma said.

"Well good for you. You can drive hungry too." Chef said as the nine vehicles arrived.

"There ya go guys, enjoy." Doyle said, hands on his hips after rolling over Bakura's bike.

"Thanks. Did you do this?"

"Nah. He helped, but I did most of it." Heloise said, walking alongside him.

"And not just the mechanic stuff. Believe it or not I know my way around tech too. Just didn't get to show it much in the season I was in." Doyle said.

"Damn right you didn't." Rick remarked.

"Come on, stop lying. You know Heloise did all of the work." Weiss said.

"He's not. He's serious." Heloise said.

"What? Get out. Mr. Mohawk is a genius?" Reagan said.

"Told ya. Looks can be deceiving." Doyle taunted, suddenly next to her. "And by the way, Mr. Mohawk. That's a new one.

"He's right about that. The kid may look stupid but he's actually not. He just chooses not to use his brain most of the time." Bobo said, referring to Rex.

"What do you mean 'look stupid'? I'm a genius. Okay, maybe not on the level as say Rick, but still, a genius." Rex said.

"Now then, let's get started! This first race will be to and back! So once you get to the 'end', you'll loop your way back here to what will soon be the finish line! And the way to win is not just from one of you crossing first, though that helps. It's from working together with your team. Each of you will earn points for your team depending on what position you cross, from 9 to 0. You cross first, you get nine points. You cross last, you get 1 point for your team. And I think you should be able to figure out the rest. You'll also be able to be able to help out your teammates by giving them power-ups, including ones they normally wouldn't be able to get because of their role, boosting the speed of teammates you pass closely and allowing them to draft behind you." Chris explained.

"Finally, the overall winning team will gain 2 points for their team in the standings. Second gets 1, and third gets zero. And one more super important thing, this challenge is double elimination. So if you don't want to send someone home, you've gotta win. Any questions before we get started?"

"So just to be clear, are we allowed to use our abilitie? Or are we limited to just power-ups?" Lucy asked.

"Good question! No! Once the race starts, your abilities will be inactive. You'll see what I mean when you actually start racing. Any other questions?"

"So I'm guessing that rules tools and weapons out of the question too right?" Sly asked, outside of the cooper van.

"Correct! No tools or weapons either! You've already got weapons at your disposal! So use 'em!"

"But what about those that have access to their own vehicles? Depending on how well they were built, wouldn't that be unfair?" Bakura asked.

"Oh, you don't have to worry about that. I took care of all of that. Start racing and you'll see what I mean." Heloise said.

"Alright, anyone else? Last call." Chris said.

"One more. Communications. Is that allowed?" Bren asked.

"Not telling you to listen to me but, to be fair, with the positioning of the spectators on this track, it's not like anyone can use it to cheat or gain an unfair advantage." Doyle said to Chris.

"You've got a point. Uh…. yeah sure. Knock yourselves out." Chris said, shrugging. "Anyone else?"

No more questions were given. "Sweet! Let's get ready to race!"

Bren handed the three walkie-talkies.

"Why use something like that instead of the doing something with the basis of the binocucoms?" Mayuzumi asked Bren, as the former had another book in his right hand.

"Wouldn't be practical to be carrying that around. I know these aren't exactly the most high-tech thing in the world, but it works."

"At the very least, increase the frequency. There's always static but with what you've been seemingly able to work with you should be able to fix it. You should also find a way to have things either all-way, two-way, three-way etcetera to avoid everyone constantly hearing each other talk. Which can get annoying if the same people are grouped together. Like channels. Though I suggest you go with a quieter method of communication as well as it's already been proven that stealth challenges are possible here. This'd simply be too loud of an option no matter how you try to adjust the volume."

"Not bad suggestions." Huey D. said, eyebrows raised at the myriad of info the mostly silent basketball player laid out.

"Yeah. I think this is the most you've talked all at once since being here." Bren said.

"So what?" Mayuzumi said.

"I'm not saying that to be a jerk. It's just an observation." Bren said.

The light novel reader said nothing in response. Only giving him a glare before putting his attention back on his book until the race started.

"Well, here you guys go. Worked on this during my free time back at home so it should work? Hopefully?" Reagan said, handing her three teammates earpieces.

"Wireless earpieces. Those Bluetooth?" Doyle quipped.

"Used to be. Not anymore." She declared proudly.

"That was….. supposed to be a joke, but….. okay."

"Not a funny joke it seemed." Miyuki said.

"Yeah, whatever. I'm experimental."

"Add that to the long list of failed experiments then." Zak M. said.

"Trial and error man mini. Trial and error."

"Please don't call me that."

"Well this one will hopefully be a success! But of course, field testing is required!"

"And you couldn't get someone from the testing department to do this prior because…?" Doyle asked.

"Testing department? Really?"

"Well it was a guess. I don't know where you work."

"I just didn't think about it honestly. Why the hell would I think about coming back here? To see Chris torture me, several other desperate for money adults, teens and kids? Well, moreso the kids and adults. Looks like most of the teens here can handle themselves."

"Well, how about to see my handsome face again?"

"Nope, never crossed my mind. Especially when you work for a guy like Chris."

"Yeah, whatever. At least my family thinks I'm beautiful. But come on, he pays good money. And it's not like I'm out here trying to murder people. Not a joke or jab at Multiversal Madness, even though I've done that a few times."

"Yeah well, at least you can actually joke about them calling you that."

"It's not a joke I'm serious! And what did you mean by at least I can do it?"

"Just kidding around. Bustin' your chops. Nothing too serious." She said dismissively.

"At least we don't rely on insulting people to be funny all the time." Reagan said.

It's impressive but I can see why it ticks people like Becky, the older one, off. He and Hiruma are cut from the same cloth when it comes to intentionally trying to p[censored] people off just because."

Everyone got in their respective vehicles. Though as soon as Natsu got in his, he felt immediately sick.

"Forgot. Can't drive. Someone… switch."

"No can do. No switching. When you're called, you've gotta race, or forfeit one less member to contribute to your team's standing." Chris said.

"He shouldn't have to. I gave you that medicine for a reason, now use it." Rick said.

"What….. medicine?" Natsu asked.

"You imbecile! That is your medication! How could you forget something as vital as that?" Albedo said in disbelief.

"Natsu! Catch!" Lucy called out before tossing him the medicine, before he slowly tried to reach for it as it hit him and fell to the ground.

"Oh great. Forgot. Sorry." She went to pick up the medicine herself and give it to him.

After eating a piece of the candy, a few seconds later, the effects of the motion sickness were starting to leave.

"Thanks. I completely forgot about that." Natsu said.

"Don't worry about it."

"To be honest, I kind of forgot myself. He's never had a real solution to solve his motion sickness so it's pretty much something I've gotten used to having just deal with when we go on missions and adventures. But because of how important this is to us winning and losing, I've got to do a better job at remembering. No offense, but I don't trust Natsu to remember at all."

"You have a very nice vehicle Lucy. I can see why you were so upset at not finishing it." Bakura said to Lucy. Her vehicle was a buggy that was blue and had several very detailed yellow accents along with an unfinished Fairy Tail logo. It's tire rims were also a golden color.

"Thank you!" Lucy said. "Though still, I wanted to finish it. But oh well, guess I'm going to have to roll with it. The most important part is us winning, especially now."

"Don't think that's going to come easy. I don't know about you, but losing the opportunity to win that type of money over Go-Kart racing is not something I'm about to add to my resume." Sly said.

"Neither do I. You're going down ringtail." Kagami said.

"One, I'm sure my resume's way longer than yours. Second, no offense since you honestly do have an incredible jump, but I'd believe it if you actually could jam down a meteor. Not just a cat."

"You tryin' to clown me buddy!? Come on! Let's see what you and that slow a[censored] van have got!"

"Funny, I could have sworn I picked speed and not power."

"I know you're doin' this crap on purpose. We're gonna see how funny this is when I knock you flat on your a[censored]. So let's go."

"On your marks!" Chris started.

"Three!"

"Two!"

"One!"

"Go!" Chris shot a gun in the air.

"Wow. You in a Mario costume with a gun. That's an out of context scene if I haven't seen one." Toxsa commented as the nine were off to the races.

"Huh? Oh snap. Forgot." Chris said. "I'll be right back."

Doyle and Heloise also left as well.

"Well, guess I'll take over the commentary until Chris comes back." Chef said. Suddenly, everyone felt as if they were drained.

"Guessing that was what Chris was talking about." Jotaro noted, noticing that he can't use his stand.

"I suppose so. Though, I don't feel any different…" Bakura said.

"As expected, the speed users are out in front! Johnny is leading with Sly not too far behind him." Chef called out.

"So I wonder how exactly this is going to differ from Mario Kart. Aside from what Chris already mentioned." Akko commented.

"I took a look at some of the descriptions that Kagami pretty much skipped over….." Rei started before sighing at how he could be too simplistic at times. "From what I was able to read, it looks like the power-ups are Wisps."

"Wisps? Interesting!" Tangle said, ears perking up after hearing this.

"If that is true….. I can't help but wonder how Chris was able to get his hands on them…." Lanolin commented, concerned.

"I just hope that he actually takes care of them, and not neglect them." Whisper said.

"It looks like you'll get your answers. Look ahead!" Lotte called out.

"Nice eyes Lotte! As she pointed out, the racers are approaching the first set of items." Chef announced.

After driving through the power-up bubbles, different wisps were seen on the side or behind each of them ready to be used.

"Alright little buddy, hope you're ready to do some damage! We've got some catching up to do-" Natsu started before yelling as he suddenly got a burst of speed from the white wisp he had. The speed boost was so sudden that he ended up crashing into one of the trees and off the track.

"ATTENTION! YOU'VE VEERED OF COURSE! GET BACK ON THE TRACK OR YOU'LL LOSE MORE TIME! DRIVING OFF COURSE WILL NOT MOVE YOU AHEAD!" Chris announced over the speakers.

***Confessional***

Natsu(Radical Rats):

"Well, at least I know what that one does. But wait a second, I thought power gets attack ones? Wouldn't that make more sense for speed? And how come no one ever explained what they do? Man if this is how Mario Kart is I don't know if I'd call it fun. 'Cause it's so confusing!"

***End Confessional***

"Ouch! Not a good start for Natsu here! Let's hope, for their team's sake, that he can recover." Chris commented as he returned, now back in his normal clothes.

Johnny closely looked at his, which was red.

"Huh, why didn't these things come with a manual." Johnny said before choosing to throw it which left behind a trail of fire as he drove along which he didn't even notice had happened.

The sudden appearance of fire caused Sly to have to immediately swerve out of the way to avoid driving in it. He decided to retaliate back by sending the Blue Wisp that he had via throwing it ahead, which created a blue barricade in front of Johnny.

"What the-" Johnny said before panicking and swerving to try and desperately avoid the blue wall in front of him. After doing so, he breathed a sigh of relief before yelling again as missiles came out of nowhere from the side, hitting him and causing him to spin out and fall off his bike.

"Okay. I think I'll just lie here, for a bit." Johnny finished before putting his face flat down into the dirt.

The source was revealed to have been another contestant from the latest rebooted season on a tricked out Mach 8 Kart from the Mario Kart series as she appeared on the track, hitting Sly as well, even with his crafty attempt to dodge

"Woah, is that MK?" Zee pointed out.

"That it is Zee! Meet former contestant, gamer and Mario Kart pro, MK!" Chris announced. "Fun fact, she's never lost a Mario Kart race! Ever!"

"Objection!" Toxsa spoke up. "The jury rules that statement as, untrue!"

"Who else is on that jury though? You're the only one that actually said anything." Myron said.

"Annnnnd you ruined it."

"Ruined what?"

"Forget I ever said anything. You guys are total noobs when it comes to this you know that?"

"I'm with you on that Toxsa! No one can be that good!" Akko spoke up.

"Sweet! Anyone else?"

"Honestly, I don't know. Maybe it's true?" Scott said.

"And you also ruined it. This is why I will never have you back me up as my wingman."

"I never knew you needed a wingman."

"If he did, it wouldn't be you that's for sure." Miyuki remarked.

"Oh! Get dunked on Scott!" Beta said.

"Uh…" Scott started, confused.

"Says the person that contributed almost as much as Scratch and PEL. Happy's been the only useful companion." Miyuki said to Beta.

"Now hold on a second!" Scratch, PEL and Beta spoke up.

"I've actually been in a challenge! That fool does nothin' but eat like a pig, and when he was around, try to scare Haizaki." Beta said.

"At least I didn't wait until several episodes in to show up." Scratch said.

"This is coming from the same ghost that still can't be seen by several people here. Who chose to do that?" Beta said.

"Because there's no reason for it? That's why!"

"Uh, any idea on what's going on between those two?" Kurt asked, trying to drown out the noise and focus on the race as they continued to argue.

"No clue." Kise said.

Shiro could only sigh and shake his head as Tsukikage made a few noises, shaking its head as well.

Thankfully for Sly, with the help of Octavia and Jotaro, he was brought back up to speed, literally as they both closely drove past him to give him a boost.

"Here. You'll need this more than me." Jotaro said, tossing the master thief a cyan wisp, which he had the choice to either accept or return back.

"Thanks. I'll make sure to use it well and wisely." Sly said, indicating that he accepted the power-up.

Meanwhile, the Rats, having no speed members racing, were behind the rest of the pack.

"If we're gonna make a move, it needs to be sometime today." Kagami called out to Lucy.

"Relax, the race just started. Don't be so hasty when we don't even know what these things can do." Lucy responded, referring to the Black Wisp.

"Well we can't do that if we don't even use 'em! I'm goin' for it." Kagami said before using the Gray Wisp, which seemingly did nothing.

"The hell was that!? That sucked!" Kagami shouted.

Not even a second later, stone pillars started to appear along the track.

"Look out!" Octavia called out as she and her teammates were forced to have to dodge the pillars that appeared.

"Hey Bakura! Give me your wisp!" Zak said, accelerating a bit to drive up along side him as they came along a corner.

"Actually, I was about to-"

"Hello? Are you deaf? I'm the power guy. Give it to me."

"You do have a point. Okay." Bakura tossed him his Crimson Wisp.

"Now let's see you dodge this." Zak said, lining up to fire both the Orange Wisp and the Crimson Wisp that Bakura gave him at the same time, but was suddenly interrupted by someone else coming out of nowhere on a bike of his own. He was suddenly rammed into and was almost flipped over.

The source: Doyle on a bike. Alongside her was Heloise in her own upgraded Mach 8 Kart. Though unlike MK's, hers was red and had streaks of fire decals on the front.

"You."

"I don't know who 'you' is." Doyle quipped.

"Still not funny." Zak remarked before he was suddenly hit by an Ivory Wisp, zapping him and his Kart.

He was then also hit by a purple laser from Doyle that turned him into a monkey, one similar to what was seen in the Super Monkey Ball games. Although Zak didn't realize it at first and continued driving, when he realized how hard it was to reach for the handles, he noticed and started to screech before losing control and hitting a tree.

"Okay, that's definitely funny." Doyle said.

Heloise gave Bakura a mischevious grin.

"Uh oh. I might be in trouble." Bakura said. Though him worrying about Heloise made him crash into one of the stone pillars that erected from the ground, causing him to spin out.

Focusing back to the leaders with the Kings, MK, though outnumbered, was showing exactly why she's a Mario Kart pro.

"Three vs one and you guys still can't take me out? Come on." MK taunted.

They approached item bubbles.

"Be careful what you wish for." Sly said, as the four awaited for the items that they had to be revealed.

Sly and Octavia attempted to converge on her with a barricade and bomb respectively to block her in and force her to have either take the bomb/wall or get hit by Jotaro from behind. Though MK made the decision that none of them, not even Jotaro expected her to make: Intentionally drive off course.

"Okay. That just happened." Sly said.

"She's not out of it, she'll be back. We need to keep going, the next section's coming up." Jotaro said before his Spike Wisp was stolen and used against him and his teammates by MK via a Jade Wisp.

***Confessional***

MK:

"Admittedly, I don't know anything about Team Sonic Racing. Always have and always will be Team Mario Kart. Nothing beats the original. But, I gotta say, most of the power-ups are pretty easy to get a grasp on how to use. While everyone else was building their Karts and whatnot, I built mine and got to reading up on how the mechanics work. And I still rule."

***End Confessional***

Focusing things back on the race, the Kings were the first to reach the second part of the track.

"And the Kings are the first team to reach the second section of the track! Will they run away with this easy or will the other teams make this a competition? Because right now, they are just cruising through this one right now." Chris commentated.

"Can't even blame this on Chris. We're just being outplayed." Myron said.

"How can you not blame this on Chris? He was the one that sent those three out!" Blaineley remarked.

"Even with that, with the right reflexes, the attacks were avoidable."

"In other words, you're saying that they just suck." Dan concluded.

"Well, when you put it that way, it has a completely different connotation." Myron said.

"Well, that's what you said. You can sugercoat it with whatever big words you want to buddy."

The nine, with the Kings still leading, were driving on an elevate dock, with the additional three obstacles in MK, Doyle and Heloise still looming.

Thanks to his teammtes providing him with speed boosting power-ups, Natsu was back in the race.

But there was little room for error, literally.

"This is kinda narrow for a bunch of vehicles don't you think?" Bakura noted before he and everyone else on the track with the exception of Doyle, Heloise and MK were shrunk and slowed down.

While it slowed down the leading Kings greatly, it also put everyone else at risk of feeling the wrath of the three newcomers, which was exactly what happened. The nine were hit by a thunderstorm that zapped all of them. To make matters worse, the Kings were hit by shells from MK.

"Sorry, no mercy!" MK called out to the smaller racers as she, Doyle and Heloise drove past them all.

"I thought you said this wouldn't be like Mario Kart?" Akko asked Chris.

"It's not. Those Mario Kart items are exclusively for MK." Chris said.

"That's cheating!"

"They don't even give that big of an advantage, so it's not. You can do this thing called, I don't know…. Dodging?"

"We're movin' at a snails' pace! When the heck is this crap gonna wear off?" Kagami said.

Seconds later, it did just that, reenlarging the nine again. At the very least, this allowed the Rats to make up ground on the other two teams.

And they had the potential opportunity to make up more as they approached more item bubbles. Though Lucy was the only to not have received anything because she had yet to use her Black Wisp.

"Let's hope this one doesn't send me flying off the track." Natsu said, a block in his hand that had a Silver-furred hedgehog's face on it. He immediately threw it out. When he did, gloves appeared on his hands.

"Gloves? What the heck are these gonna do?" As he held out a hand looking at them, one of the objects in front of his hand was highlighted in a greenish-blue color. Though he failed to notice.

"Great." He said. "Now I went from something that worked too good to something that's useless." He didn't stop highlighting items on the road, including his opponents until he started gripping the wheel with both of his hands again.

But the Red Wisp seemed to be anything but useless. After getting it, Sly immediately used it, leaving behind a trail of fire that burned everyone on the track with the exception of his teammates, Natsu and Bakura, with the latter activating his Radial Burst to shielf himself from the fire and protect his tires.

"Well that's just great." Zak said, realizing that his tires were melted.

"Well, at least we don't have to worry about friendly fire." Sly said before being hit by a well-timed bomb throw by Lucy before her kart got stuck in place from her tires melting, sending him off the docks and into the water.

"Jeez. Took you long enough to use it!" Kagami called out.

"I was waiting for the right moment!" Lucy shot back as they were still stuck in place from their tires melting.

"Right moment being the last second. Look, if you're not gonna use 'em, just give 'em to me. I don't care if I don't know how to use 'em or not."

"I've got it, alright?"

"Oh yeah, now you say that…. when our FREAKIN' TIRES ARE MELTED! Now what the heck are we supposed to do?"

Seconds later, their tires began to reinflate themselves.

"All right! Looks like we're back in the game!"

"No time for celebrating Kagami. Let's keep going."

Even though Natsu was the only one unaffected, it didn't make much of a difference as he was still fumbling around with the gloves.

"Seriously, what the heck am I supposed to do with these?" He said before deciding to throw a punch and then wave his arm, the second action causing Octavia to suddenly get picked up and waved around in the air before getting forcefully sent into the water along with her bike. The minute he put two and two together, the gloves disappeared from his hands.

"Huh, so that's what they do. Awesome!"

The fourth power user, Jotaro was put in a sticky situation by the fact that a wall, pillars and a banana peel was in front of him, with MK, Doyle and Heloise using teamwork to block his path. So he decided to take a gamble and use the power up he had to try to brute force his way though. Which worked via the Yellow Wisp, drilling his way through the wall at a high speed that surprised the three.

"He's coming up fast! We gonna do something or not?" Doyle said.

"Hard to do anything with no items." Heloise remarked.

"Nothing we can do but brace for impact!" MK remarked before he rammed through all three, sending all of them off the dock and into the water.

***Confessional***

MK:

"Almost nothing you can do when you've got an unstoppable power up like that coming after you except get out of the way. Only problem was, we couldn't actually get out the way there."

***End Confessional***

After regaining control of his vehicle the power-up reverted, he continued to calmy drive through the section. Though this would be shortly lived as Johnny suddenly reappeared out of nowhere and rammed him, the sudden sensation causing Jotaro to lose control and fall into the water himself.

"Well that was weird." Johnny said to the audience.

"I know I'm supposed to be cheering and all but what the heck was that?" Randy asked.

"The same thing MK used when she got Jotaro last time. The Gray Wisp." Lanolin answered.

"Nice one Johnny!" Bakura said, speeding up to him with a White Wisp.

"What'd I tell ya? Speed….. Demon." Johnny said before posing, almost losing control of his bike in the process before immediately grabbing the handles again.

***Confessional***

Bakura(Wave Breakers):

"I could tell from the surprised look he had on his face at first that he had no idea what he was doing. Which is okay. I'm still trying to figure out some of this myself."

***End Confessional***

Reaching the last part of the section, which was a jump upwards, they made it to a metal track that was a straightaway before there was a split for four ramps.

"It's a good idea for us to both take one-" Bakura started before Johnny revved up and took a different ramp.

"Oh yeah I love this thing!" Johnny called out, almost going too fast and accidentally popping a wheelie as he went up the ramp.

"-ramp together." Bakura finished before taking the ramp that he was already driving on up for the long ascent.

"We're already behind! We gotta floor it!" Kagami called out to Lucy and to Natsu through the earpiece he was given.

"Wait, Kagami? I don't see you anywhere. How are you-" Natsu started.

"Forget all of that! Just get goin' man!"

"I was gonna do that. Keep your shirt on." He said before speeding up himself.

Though Zak had other plans, intentionally throwing the Blue Wisp he had onto one of the ramps to obstruct whoever drove up said ramp.

The victim being Kagami as Lucy, and eventually, Jotaro, Octavia and Sly, who were picked up by drones sent by Chef and Chris and put back on the track, all taking different ramps other than the one Zak obstructed.

Kagami fell back down to the ground as he could do nothing but watch Zak and the others continue their ascent upwards.

"Damn it!" Kagami shouted, upset, having to run to get back to his kart.

"And Kagami gets to show off his running skills to the public! Any comments Rei?" Chris asked.

Rei could only give a deadpan look at the camera.

"Wise words of encouragement. What a great girlfriend guys." Chris announced sarcastically.

"Now wait just a second, you're not about to-" Rei was cut off as the camera cut back to the race, with things actually going into space. All eight racers that were there suddenly had helmets or windshields over their heads to keep their source of oxygen available.

"And now we head off into space! Where the contestants will have drive around in an obstacle course for a bit before making their way back do-"

Chris suddenly had the microphone swiped away from him by Rei.

"I wasn't finished! I didn't say anything because of how dumb that was for you to do that! Of course I want him to win!"

"Thanks for clearing that up. But still, how come you weren't supportive before being put on the spot I wonder?"

Rei could only shake her head and walk away.

***Confessional***

Rei(Radical Rats):

"Yes, I want him to win. But you seriously expect me to be some constant cheerleader yelling 'Go, go Kagami' every time he does something? Absolutely not. I know he's going to give it his best every challenge. So if I cheer for him, I want it to be for something really amazing like the meteor jam in that AT challenge. Or even something like his cooking. Not 'running'."

"But I'm sure Chris knew that. He just did that for drama and to get a reaction out of me. Which unfortunately worked."

***End Confessional***

Several turrets appeared and shot different substances. From paintballs, to mud, to water, to even missiles.

"You guys okay up there? We just saw you all go into space!" Bren asked his three teammates.

"We're fine. Looks like Chris already gave us the protection we needed to stay up here." Jotaro responded.

"And there's the signature Chris imprint." Sly said as he and the others tried to dodge the obstacles on the track. Though in Octavia and Lucy's cases, they used their radial burst to block the attacks.

"Pass your items to me. I think I can take out the turrets before my shield depletes." Bakura called out to his teammates.

"You better not miss." Zak said. Because he was the furthest behind, he threw his item forward. Johnny tossed Bakura his as well.

Combining all three items that he had, he began to shoot lasers all while having a large rocket readied above him to fire akin to the first Streets of Rage video game. But before he did so, he threw back his blue cube to block his opponents' path.

"Well then, this should work." He commented, not expecting to have a large rocket but not exactly complaining either. He shot the missile as it arced upwards before eventually landing back down on the ground, exploding and taking several turrets, and some of the track ahead, with it.

"That was good. A little too good." Sly remarked, beside him as the duelists' shield disappeared.

"Now we don't even have a way to cross the track genius." Zak said sarcastically.

"Sorry. I didn't expect it to be that explosive." Bakura said.

"It's a rocket. What else could you possibly be expecting." Octavia said before throwing a bomb at Johnny but barely missing. He was also caught in the crossfire with Lucy attacking with rockets as well. Though these were a whole lot smaller.

"When I said I liked the attention of women, this was not what I meant!" Johnny said, having to desperately dodge the attacks.

"Okay. Change of plans. No trap door. They're coming down early!" Chris announced, which was also a subtle announcement to Heloise as well, who was waiting on the ground, remote in hand along with Doyle. MK was nowhere to be seen with them.

Not long after, they approached the gap in the track as all of them braced themselves for a fall. As they began to fall back to Earth, Kagami was just in space, still going upwards on the ramp and was horrified to see that the others were already coming back down.

"Crap!"

With them descending, Lucy and Natsu tried their best to actually help him by going past him. The problem was, gravity made that hard to do. And without abilities, there was no way they were going to defeat physics. Which meant he would have to traverse the ruined track himself.

As the other eight approached the ground, the indication for a musical was heard.

"Great. It's always the worst times man!" Kagami said before having to suddenly dodge projectiles.

Not too long afterwards, the eight were on reentry back in the Earth's atmosphere.

The eight were able to reach the ground. The problem was, all of them missed the ramp to go back down. Some of them hit the track, others completely missed the track and fell into the water. Using his strength, Natsu tossed his Kart out of the water and back on the track with Jotaro doing the same thing with his bike via his Stand, the nullifying effects seemingly inactive when not on the vehicles. Resurfacing and climbing back to the track, Yami Bakura, using the power of his Millennium Ring, summoned Puppet Master to slowly raise his bike from the water via its strings and remove the water from its exhausts.

"This is it! Everyone is starting to loop back! Which team will claim the first race?" Chris said.

"Looks like they're coming back. It's go time." Doyle said as he and Heloise both got back in their respective vehicles, Doyle also putting on his mask.

"Do you really need to put that on?" Heloise asked.

"Nah. Just think it's cool."

As everyone collected more items, MK awaited them as they approached the second section, throwing three green shells at them before beginning to start driving again. They immediately swerved out of the way to avoid the shells but they bounced off the track walls, still hitting Johnny and an unsuspecting Kagami, causing the latter to slam on the steering wheel in frustration as he was last again with Bakura passing him.

"Sorry, but you're in my way. Not!" Zak said before attacking Natsu with his Violet Wisp, sucking him in.

Natsu tried to resist the pull and use his own item to counter, but was denied by Bakura who rammed him from behind after reappearing with his Gray Wisp, causing him to spin out.

Lucy was about to counter until she was suddenly hit by a mine, putting ash all over her.

Kagami, after hitting a mine, put his hands on his head in frustration.

"Damn it! With all of this crap here, it's like everything's going against me! I can't catch up!" He thought, grimacing.

He looked at the Violet Wisp he had in his hand as the rest of the racers were already in the forest ahead of him.

Kagami closed his eyes in surrender.

"Gotta face it. I can't catch up. But… that doesn't mean I can't help us win."

He passed on his Wisp to Lucy.

She suddenly saw it fly towards her as she was given the option to accept or decline it.

"Natsu didn't give this to me. He has a Cyan Wisp. This must be from Kagami!" Lucy thought before ultimately accepting it.

"This is it guys! The final stretch! Take it home!" Chris announced.

"Not on my watch." Doyle said, pulling out both a pistol in one hand and having fire in the other via the fire flower item for the latter.

"Before this race is over, I'm gonna pay you back." Sly called out to MK as he was not too far behind her.

"Sly, if you don't mind, pass your item to me." Jotaro said over the walkie-talkie he had.

"Can't get your so called 'payback' without an item you know." MK said.

"I think I'll take my chances. There's more than one way to get paback." Sly said before passing it to Jotaro.

"Whatever you say." MK said before slowing down intentionally and then throwing a shell at Sly, but to her surprise, he made a drastic sideways turn and caused her to run right into the van.

"Checkmat-" Yami Bakura said before seeing the bear run right in front of him, blocking his view and forcing him to have to swerve out of the way to avoid getting hit. And before he could even use the Wisp, the race was already over. Lucy had finished first. Meaning he himself had to settle for second.

"And that's it folks! The race is over! Lucy takes first place!" Chris announced as the others began to cross as well, with Kagami and Johnny being the last ones to cross, Kagami taking 8th and Johnny taking ninth.

"No time to cheer yet. Who won the race overall?" Lanolin asked.

"Let's find out shall we?" Chris said as the placements were used to tally up the scores.

"This is ridiculous! They win again? There's no way there's not some sort of bias going on here." Zak said.

"Bias is a little much honestly." Mr. Wolf said.

"Last place? I demand a do-over! That can't be right." Johnny said.

"It is. You lost. Deal with it." Chris said.

"Damn it!" Kagami said, balling his fists in frustration.

"Hey, don't worry about it. This isn't over yet. And besides, the fact that you didn't quit is the most important thing." Lucy said, trying to console him.

"I know. But even so, the fact that we were this close and it slipped away p[censored]es me off."

"I'm not too happy about this either. But the only thing we can do now is kick their butts in the next game." Natsu said, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Yeah. Let's go. Chris, what's the next race!?"

"Hold up! Gotta make a few announcements first." Chris said as the devices that were installed on their vehicles immediately exploded, damaging some of the vehicles, but nothing for it to be too serious.

"Alright, before you do that, you're gonna have to explain yourself on a few things. Like for example, why you never told us whatever you had installed on our cars would do that? If I would have known that I probably would have just picked a regular Kart instead of asking Bentley and Murray to have to do unnecessary work and fix the van." Sly said.

"And why MK is just randomly here." Heather said.

"And why you lied about the hazards. That bear could have gotten hurt!" Huey D. asked.

"Okay, question one, to answer that, Heloise already told me they were going to explode when the race was done and they may or may not damage your vehicle even with testing. Question two, I already explained that. She's a pro at Mario Kart. So it'd make since for her to show up and help Doyle and Heloise run as interference. Three. Yeah, I lied. That was to keep you on your toes. And before anyone asks, yes, MK had the advantage of using Mario Kart items and Doyle and Heloise also had that and the ability to carry multiple without having to pass and use any of the power-ups without being limited to a role."

"Still doesn't make it okay. What if Bakura panicked, shot the Wisp and hit the bear?"

Chris paused for a few seconds before saying, "Okay?"

"Is the problem with that not registering with you? How? Why? What's in your heart for it not to?"

"Nothing I'd say. Just casually okay with animal cruelty." Riley said.

"Ah, ah. Not animal cruelty. Self-defense." Chris said. "Besides, we've got several animals here. Not one time has anyone really gotten upset for them getting hurt."

"Personally, I think the difference is no one cares because they're doing it to each other. And plus, they're more than capable of defending themselves." Chef reasoned.

"A fair point, but that still doesn't make it right. Especially to the ones that can't defend themselves." Riley said.

"Trust me, I will be fine. Though I appreciate your concern." Puss said.

"I don't. Worry about your darn self!" Skipper said, getting into Riley's face. "Because with me, the only animal cruelty that'll happen around here, is what I am gonna do to all of you!" He said, eye twitching as several people, Hanamiya, Eliza, Sebastian, Hiruma and even Urien were silent and/or raising their eyebrows at his rather unhinged statement.

"What the heck are you all looking at me for!?" Skipper said before he cleared his throat. "Chris. Continue the debriefing."

"Alright….." Chris trailed off.

***Confessional***

Hanamiya:

"Okay. I think that all but confirms that Hiruma isn't the only one around here that has a screw loose."

***End Confessional***

"So before we start picking out our next set of competitors, first off, the person in first place gets to stay on for the next race. OR they can choose to swap out for someone else. And second, the winning team gets to choose one person from the winning three to stay on as well. The rest have yet to be seen. So, Lucy, you staying or you want to switch?" Chris asked.

"The race just ended and you ask me that immediately? Okay… personally I'd like to stay but-"

"Ten seconds. Let's go."

"Why the heck are you in such a hurry!?"

"Six seconds."

"Forget it. I'll stay. Besides, what harm will it cause anyway."

"Alright. Jotaro, Octavia, Sly, which one of you are staying?"

"Jotaro. No question." Heather spoke up. "Any objections?"

"Sure. Why not." Sly said.

"I guess." Octavia said before she shrugged.

"As long as he wins I don't have a problem with it." Eliza said.

No other objections were made.

***Confessional***

Heather(Storm Kings):

"Gonna be honest here, Jotaro has probably performed the best out of all of us in this entire season. Which I mean, isn't saying much since we've been dominating but still, it seems like he's been the one that's been able to find away to get us out of some scares the few times it has happened. He's not a threat yet, but he's definitely on my radar. We'll see how he does the next few games."

***End Confessional***

"Alright, now that that's done, let's get to the next race! But before we get started, let's find out the participants! Lucy! Jotaro and finally Bass!" Chris announced.

"Wait… that's it? Then what the heck was all those theatrics for!?" Lucy asked in disbelief.

"Weren't theatrics. If I would have let you know about that ahead of time that might have influenced your decision way too much, and that would have been boring. So now, knowing that its only 3 racers for this race, I need you three to gather around. It's time to reveal the location!" Chris said before suddenly pulling out a ray gun, something that Jotaro, using his Stand, instantly knocked away. Unfortunately for him, he was still hit from behind by Heloise, who froze him and the others. Doyle picked up the gun and shrunk them all down.

"Now then, the next location may be familiar to some of you from Multiverse Edition. Especially Rally here."

"Okay, now I know where this is going." Rally said, realizing what he was talking about as Chef rolled in a table and placed the three icy figurines on it before they were thawed out by a small lighter from Chef.

Bass instinctively charged his buster to fire at Chris. The problem was, the size only made it sting at worst.

"Uh, hello? Smaller size?"

This caused them all to look at themselves with Lucy yelling out loud.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO US!?"

"Made you smaller, duh."

"WHY!?"

"So we can do the challenge?"

"He's done this before. You'll be fine. I promise." Doyle said.

"Like I'd believe the guy that's on Chris' payroll."

"He's right. We've done this before. Well, in that case, I have." Rally said.

"Besides, if he really was going to hurt us, it would have made sense to do it while we were frozen. Why break us out?" Jotaro reasoned.

"Well, you've got a point." Lucy concluded, calming down.

"Things will be similar, but there will be some changes this time around. Outside of the obvious three player race this time, there will be a few surprises along the track with some of the items. Giving you that heads up now. Next is vehicles. You'll be provided those. And that's about it. No gimmicks or anything like that here. We'll keep things simple. Again, items only. No powers, no weapons, no tools. But this time, you'll be able to upgrade the levels of items you collect." Chris began to explain.

"Running over an item bubble while you still have one will allow you to upgrade it to an additional level to make them stronger, up to level 3. But if you get hit, that level decreases. And in some cases, getting hit by some stronger weapons will make you lose your items regardless. Only way you have a chance is by ether dodging or shielding. Which is where drifting comes in like last time. Drifting will allow you to get back energy to use your shield. The shield blocks any and all items so as long as you're in it, you can't be touched so use it wisely. Cross first and you win. Got it?"

No questions were given. "Okay. Since I'm not hearing any questions, I'm assuming you guys are good. So let's good started."

As promised, the three were provided with vehicles. Lucy was provided with blue four-wheeled vehicle similar to the magical vehicles back on her world. Jotaro was provided a purple vintage muscle car. Bass was provided with a kart vehicle that was shaped like Treble.

"Alright! Let's get you guys on the track!"

The three were picked up and placed on the starting line.

"On your marks….."

"…..get set…."

"….go!"

The three were off with Jotaro taking a slight initial lead on the straightaway with them eventually making their way to a small hill where items were and then going down the hill right afterwards.

Bass was about to be the aggressor and use his item early but thought twice after seeing the split in the road. One path went up, the other went down. Jotaro and Bass went over. Lucy went under.

Bass didn't use his item on Jotaro after seeing that his own shield was already initially charged. So he figured that Jotaro had his charged. And it was the same for the Stand user as well. Neither used their items. And naturally, Lucy, as she was by herself, didn't use hers either. However, both Jotaro and Bass were about to collect more items airborne. But before they could, they both attempted to get the jump on each other and attack early with a bolt and a rocket, but both shielded and blocked as they both picked up more items.

Bass had a sonic bomb while Jotaro had a rocket.

"Lucy." Rally started, deciding to talk to her through the race as they watched on a TV screen that was rolled in by Doyle.

"Yeah?" Lucy started, acknowledging the bounty hunter asking for her attention.

"This is when things are going to really start to pick up so get ready. This is when it did for me. And it might be tougher with the items and whatever else Chris has got planned so watch out."

"You can count on me."

Jotaro and Bass jumped down, but it wasn't enough to overtake Lucy as she continued to hold on to first.

After reaching the narrow part of the road that had several twists, Rally had told her to start drifting, something that the other two teams told their racing teammates to do as well, though that was denied by Lucy using mines, which hit was about to hit Bass but he blocked the attempt by using his own item, which sent a sonic wave around him. Although Jotaro wasn't directly hit by either, having both in the crossfire of the narrow road caused him to hit one of the barricades and force him to stop to avoid crashing and falling off, which caused him to lose ground in the race.

After a bit of elevation in the road, there was a right corner. Even shrunk, drifting in that part of the road was harder for Bass to do than Lucy because of his vehicle's size, so he had to take it normally while Lucy was able to drift through before turning back straight to another bridge that split.

In an attempt to chase her down and stop her, Bass followed, with each of them picking up items. Jotaro also took the same path with everyone only taking the right path.

"I refuse to lose to you!" Bass called out before activating his item, which was a jumpstart booster as he glowed green, something that Lucy herself didn't expect as she instinctively activated her shield.

"Great. Now she's open. She got way too cocky having the lead that long." Sendo commented.

"Or she panicked. Regardless, you're definitely right about the open part." Rally said before talking to Lucy again.

"If he tries to pass you or hit you don't panic. Do you know what item you have?"

Lucy looked at her item as Bass did just that, try to overtake her instead of ram her which was starting to happen.

"I don't know. I didn't pick up anything but my car is surrounded in blue energy."

"Okay, well, whatever it is, don't feel like you have to use it now. The race isn't close to being over yet. As a matter of fact, you might not have to use it. Keep a lookout on your surroundings and you'll see what I'm talking about."

"Okay. Thanks."

***Confessional***

Rally(Radical Rats):

"With everyone else on the other teams being around, I have to be a little creative in some of the advice and hints I give her or else I could be the reason another team wins. Then I'll be in trouble if we lose. And rightfully so. I can't use ignorance as an excuse since I think it's pretty obvious most people here know I'm not stupid. You know what they say: If you know better, do better."

***End Confessional***

Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look at, for Lucy, she'd have more time to look as she was hit by a rocket from Jotaro that bounced off a wall and hit her directly.

"Wait, since when can rockets bounce?" Bren said.

"Since when can cars repair themselves or spin out after getting hit? Just do what I just do: Don't think about it. Unless it's some really crazy stuff, then you think about it." Randy said.

"Such as?"

"Uh…. stopping time?"

"Okay. Fair."

"Easier thing to do is use game logic. This is based off games after all. But which one is this?" Toxsa said.

"Modnation Racers. PlayStation's take on the Kart Racing genre." Chris answered.

"Ah, gotcha. Other than the cars, looks meh to me."

"Glad I wasn't the only that this looked kind of bland." Akko said.

"Yeah well that's anything but bland." May pointed out as Lucy was seen driving through an alleyway and eventually jumping over both Jotaro and Bass, getting an item for all her troubles as well to upgrade the one she had to level 2.

"Out of my way!" Bass shouted before using the item that he grabbed from taking the normal route, which was a shock pistol all too familiar to Sly. He fired the shock pistol at her but wasn't able to land any of the shots as she dodged all of them, which was starting to frustrate the robot master.

"Is that….. Carmelita's shock pistol?" Sly pointed out, surprised to even see that as a pick up.

"Yep! We decided to add a couple of things too from some other sources. Of course, we did some research to get it right. By research I mean Doyle playing a bit of the games and Heloise taking notes on weapons they found interesting."

"In other words, they did the research not you. Got it."

"Actually I did do a bit of research. Fun fact, Carmelita competed in Ultimate Islands. I took the liberty of looking to actually see if these guys were brought into any season and that was what I found."

"Did she win?"

"Nope. Got booted. I don't think she made the merge either."

"Huh. Makes me wonder if Bentley or Murray were ever here if that's the case."

"Don't know. Never bothered to look."

"Speaking of which, where is Doyle anyway?"

The three entered a tunnel. The minute they had to take a fork was when Jotaro decided to attack, using the item that he picked up. It manifested into something that was made out of brown cloth with stitches and had a zipper down the front of their chest and black button eyes.

It gave him a friendly smile and waved at Jotaro as it ran alongside him.

"Great." Jotaro said sarcastically.

"You've gotta be joking." Aomine said.

"Wow, a stuffed person, thing. So useful." Louie sad sarcastically as Tangle couldn't help but laugh along with Rocky, who was… only doing so because Tangle was to be honest.

"Listen, I don't have time to be making friends. If you've got something that can help, do it." Jotaro said to it.

It raised a hand before a menu suddenly showed up with several items on it. From weapons to food to even the faces of some of Jotaro's teammates. And Jotaro himself. It selected an android that had the appearance of a teenage girl that had the name Alisa Bosconovitch over her head before transforming into her. She has medium-length half-dark pink and half-pink hair in a short-curled bob with three flowers in it. She wore a light and dark puple ombre dress with a slanted split down the front, a back skirt and white boots.

"Don't worry. I will be happy to assist you." Alisa said in Japanese to him before activating her thrusters to fly out of the tunnel and past Bass and Lucy.

Doyle, binoculars on, was watching the whole thing overhead on a building along with Chef and was confused.

"Who the heck is that?" Doyle asked.

"What? Give me that." Chef said, swiping them away from him to look himself.

"Huh. I've got no idea."

The second Bass and Lucy emerged was the second she shot a rocket at both of their cars. Though Lucy and Bass used their shields to block the attack after being advised to drift.

What they didn't expect was for chainsaws to emerge from her arms and for her to actually fly after them and slice their vehicles in half when their shields disappeared.

"Okay. Didn't see that coming." Doyle commented as he watched the whole thing.

"Hey! What happened to you backing me up!?" Chef shouted after trying to shoot Jotaro and failed due to him putting up a shield.

"Oh crap!" Doyle said before realizing it was already too late as he had already passed. And so was his window to slow at least one of them down as he was instructed to do by Chris.

"Great. My bad. Get 'em next time?" He added, shrugging with the sniper that he was supposed to use, in his right hand.

Chef could only put a hand on his forehead.

The little brown companion returned back into his actual self, running aside Jotaro again as he took the lead.

"Thanks." Jotaro said before it gave another wave before completely disappearing.

***Confessional***

Jotaro(Storm Kings):

"I'll admit, I don't exactly know how he's able to transform like that, including being able to turn into me, but he got the job done, and that's all that matters. If he was here and he could do that, including actually use Stands, then he'd definitely be a powerful competitor."

***End Confessional***

"And now, no thanks to Doyle, Jotaro regains the lead!" Chris announced.

"Regain the lead? You might as well just give them the race." Yulaw remarked.

"If their cars are in half, then I guess it's over. They win again." Lotte said, disappointment in her voice.

"Yeah, they are in half. Temporarily." Chris said as the cars actually pulled themselves back together.

"Okay, I think that qualifies as a time to really think about it." Randy said.

"What for? We have a chance to win. I think I'd prefer not to." Zak said.

"Self-repair from what I was told. Because of how small they needed to be, there wasn't too many materials needed to make it work." Chris explained.

"Still though, we're behind a good bit. And with how restrictive these roads are, I'm not seeing ways we can catch up." Mamori commented.

Hiruma laughed. "Giving up already, f[censored]ing manager?"

"Well…" Mamori looked down.

Monta grabbed onto Mamori's arm. "Until it's over, we can still win! We're not dead yet!" He implored.

Doing as Rally instructed, she continued to look until she found another path. Taking a construction area, she was seemingly going off course.

"What is she doing?" Rei remarked.

Lanolin stepped forward. "I need to talk to-" Rally held out a hand to stop her, leaving the sheep in shock at what she just did.

"You're doing fine! Just watch out! You've got a visitor on your trail." The bounty hunter said to Lucy, referring to Bass, who was behind her with a vengeance.

"On my trail? You mean the angry little robot that's on the side of me trying to send me to the hospital?" Lucy said, trying to dodge Bass' attempts to run her off the trail and into the construction. "Back off!"

"If you want me to back off, then get out of my way!" Bass shot back.

Even as they were headed towards the ramp, Bass continued to try to move her out of the way by force.

"You bonehead! At this rate, we're both going to lose again!"

"You mean you're going to lose again!" He said before still insisting on her fighting her, even when they both went airborne. Seeing she had no choice, she used the sonic bomb cannon power-up she had which lobbed a blue explosive projectile forward and sent Bass flying as they went into the air.

"Serves him right." Lucy remarked as she was speeding off to continue to try to catch Jotaro, leaving behind a frustrated Bass who flipped his Kart back over and got in it to try and catch up.

Going to another construction site, she went up another ramp and went on top of a building. But instead of stopping and turning like Lance did, she actually floored it and continued to go.

"She wouldn't…." Rally said under her breath before realizing that Lucy was serious. "Lucy stop! When I told you to do this I didn't mean be irrational! Not even Lance was crazy enough to try that!"

"Unfortunately, I'm not Lance." She sped up even more and was actually able to barely make the jump. Because of where she was, she could see the end. And unfortunately, Jotaro who was going over a bridge not too far where the finish line was.

Though she could feel someone behind her. Bass was back, thanks to being able to latch himself onto walls with adhesive tires like a spider's. In this cfase, Spider-Man's.

"How annoying! Why won't he just give up!?" Albedo remarked.

"You gotta give it to him. Even with all the crap he's pulled, he's not givin' up." Kagami commented.

"That's not a good thing, we could lose!" Rei remarked.

"I know! I know! I'm just sayin'."

Not long afterwards, both of them were in front of Jotaro, who was surprised, but not shaken as they were in the final stretch.

"And Lucy takes the lead! This is it!" Chris commented. "Can she or Bass complete a miraculous comeback?"

They picked up items one last time, with Jotaro now at level 3.

Bass was the first one to use his item, which was a Plasma ball. A devastating weapon from the futuristic anti-grav racing Wipeout universe. It began to slowly charge purple energy as he slowly timed his movements to hit one of them with it. Jotaro was about to press the button to shield himself but realized he wasn't going for him. He was going for Lucy and it was about to hit.

She didn't have a shield. The only thing she had was her item, which were golden boots with wings AKA the fabled Boots of Hermes.

"Please be something good!" Lucy thought before using it. Her Kart suddenly became a golden chariot and she went at an incredibly fast speed that caught her off guard as she ran into walls.

Knowing that he had no choice, Jotaro took the gamble and shot out the missiles, which actually sent out several in the air before coming back down. Several of them exploded around Lucy who tried to desperately dodge them as she saw the finish line just ahead. Before she could cross, one final missile came down and exploded right in front of her as she fell out of her kart. She was sent flying and so was the Kart, with both crossing separately.

Jotaro and Bass also crossed not long after.

"Alright! Race is over! Let's get these three back to normal and declare the winner!" Chris announced as Doyle and Chef were returned back to normal.

After the three were returned to normal, Chris was about to announce the results.

"Alright! I know you're anxiously waiting on who's the winner of this race! And that is…"

"Lucy!"

Several of the Rats cheered as Jotaro could only sigh and go back to his team.

"Hey, it happens." Bobo said.

"Damn it… well, I honestly can't get mad though. Even in losses you still played your a[censored] off." Aomine said to Jotaro before the former opened his eyes wide open from someone else's voice.

"She was off her vehicle before she crossed! How?" Heather protested.

"They both crossed before anyone else. So, it still counts." Chris responded.

"Could you quit whining already? Every time we lose you've got somethin' to say." Aomine said, annoyed.

"Maybe I wouldn't have something to say if the losses were fair!" Heather said.

"Fair or not, it's not as if they cheated. Let's keep focused. We're tied so it's not like we're out of it." Isagi said.

"Very true Isagi. There's always the next one." Alejandro said.

"You alright? That was a pretty nasty fall." Kise asked Lucy.

"Yep!" Lucy nodded.

"She may not look like it, but she's pretty tough herself. I'm not too worried about her on that front." Natsu said.

"Why were you so impatient!?" Urien said to Bass.

"Impatient? Was I supposed to wait until the end of the race?" Bass shot back.

"You took multiple gambles and failed! Know that this will not be without repercussions."

"Guys! Calm down, please! We may not have any points, but it's not something we can't come back from. But fighting each other isn't the way to start." Julie said.

"Julie's right. Let's keep our heads and wits together. We've come back from down worse." Hanamiya said.

"That's the spirit guys! Let's go!" Kaz said, giving Hanamya and Julie friendly hits on the back, which surprised Julie and annoyed Hanamiya.

"Alright! Let's keep things moving! Since Lucy was the only one on her team that race and won, she's automatically in for the next one. Rest of you are about to be decided. Nine player race now!" Chris announced.

"Rocky and Murasakibara, you're with Lucy."

"Sebastian, you're with Huey Duck and Ryoma Echizen."

"Molly, you're with Karin and Blaineley!"

"Awesome! Let's get to it everyone!" Molly said, excited to be able to participate in a fun challenge like this one.

"Hmm… wonder what kind of weapons Chris has got in store for us to use this time?" Rocky said aloud.

"Whatever they are, I'm just glad friendly fire doesn't work here." Lucy said.

"Got that right. Dude's on a sugar rush like 24/7." Murasakibara said as Rocky was already running to where the two were.

"Come on, let's give you that redemption you need Ryoma." Huey said to Echizen.

"Whatever you say. Let's just do our best." Echizen said, tipping his cap lower.

"Him again….. ready to lose again Echizen?" Lucy called out.

"Can't say that I am unfortunately."

"Apparently your first two blunders didn't humble you. Maybe this loss will. I'll make sure of that." Karin said to Echizen.

"Wouldn't call that first game a blunder. I'd say I did pretty well." Echizen said.

"Kid, you got kicked in the face in the most embarrassin' way possible. I don't care how well ya did, no one's gonna forget that." Bobo said.

"Oh I haven't forgotten. But I'm not gonna overreact either. She's still got a ways to go with her kicks."

"You little…. I'll hit you with something worse with a kick this game just you watch!" Lucy called out, pointing at him.

"Better be careful. I think you and some of the others on your team are playing with fire here." Molly said to Ryoma, a confident smile on her face.

"We'll see. I think the game will decide whether that's true or not."

"Well, admittedly, the only Mario Kart games I've ever played have been the Game Boy Advance games. Compared to all of the other games,even the original, those games are talked about the least. But hey, I still like them."

"Alright guys! This is where we go inter-dimensional again! So get ready!" Chris called out as a portal opened.

"Let's go!" Molly exclaimed excitedly as she and Rocky were about to be the first ones to enter before Chef put a hand out in front of both, blocking them and knocking Molly down as Doyle grabbed Rocky's tail.

Hanamiya couldn't help but smirk a little at seeing that happen to Molly.

"Hold your horses cowboys and cowgirls." Doyle said.

"What for? Didn't you say we were leaving?" Lucy asked.

"I literally never said that. Attention to details people!" Chris said.

"But we've always done it before. So what's the problem now?" Blaineley asked.

"The problem is, none of you are going in. I just opened it for someone else." Chris said as two small grey aliens walked through the portal.

"Blukic and Driba?" Ben said, instantly recognizing the two.

"Of course. What other two Galvans would you expect to walk out of this portal?" Driba said. Driba was wearing a plumber suit, and was larger than Blukic, who was slighty cross-eyed and wore grey overalls and a cap.

"Uh, several?" Ben remarked. "And second, what the heck are you guys doing here?"

"To assist in your challenge of course." Driba said.

"And to test out some new equipment that could be beneficial for combat training. Don't forget about that." Blukic said.

"Yes, yes, I remember. But do you really think they would care about that?"

"Well, we won't know unless we mention it won't we?"

"And we did. No one said anything."

"Guys. Hello? Challenge?" Ben said, stopping their arguing.

"We are getting to that. We can't start until-" Driba started before another plumber brought in a medium-sized terminal that was green and black and had a large black antenna pointing upwards from it.

"Oh. Perfect timing."

"If you recall, this is the training simulator that we have been working on for you." Blukic said.

"The new and improved simulator, that is." Driba added.

"And I am assuming that with Chris announcing us going inter-dimensional, you two thought it would be perfect for stress testing more complex locations outside of Earth." Rook inferred.

"Correct!"

"To prevent things from going wrong, we've only limited it to one race and one location. Stability hasn't been one hundred percent tested yet so all of these measures are for your own safety." Blukic explained.

"All of the things that you will need to race will already be provided for you once you get there. And more importantly, this simulator provides the safest option to allow you to travel to planets that would otherwise be unsafe to be on without the proper gear." Driba added.

"Well, let's get started. Driba, did you choose the location?"

"I thought you did."

"I specifically said that you could pre-choose the location."

"Well maybe you shouldn't talk from a place where I have trouble hearing."

"And maybe you should make sure you're paying attention."

"Location chosen: Primus, Codon Climb." The machine announced.

"Who did that?" Blukic said before seeing Ben at the controls.

"What? You guys were going to argue forever so I randomized it." Ben said.

"Perhaps it wasn't a good idea to istall controls on the terminal for anyone to access it." Driba said.

"It was your idea. 'Manual backup in case remote control failed', you said." Blukic remarked.

"Don't make fun of me! It was a reasonable idea!"

"Imbeciles….." Albedo remarked, referring to Blukic and Driba.

The surroundings for everyone suddenly changed.

Primus(Ben 10)

The contestants were transported to a jungle planet. There was nothing but grey skies overhead. Though all of this wasn't seen as they were inside a cavern.

The nine participants were suddenly in the starting line. Though some extra guests were with them: Doyle,Chef, Heloise and MK.

While Karin was notably in a golden colored kart, Lucy was using the same vehicle she used in the last race. Sebastian was in a smaller carriage-like vehicle, noticeably running on motor and not horses and Huey was in a red go-kart that had the number 1 in the middle of a white stripe.

Rocky was using a smaller 1927 Ford Model A. Murasakibara was using a purple ice-cream van, that was also smaller. Echizen was using a silver-colored go-kart that had a samurai on the sides. Molly was using a pink kart with a heart shaped patten and other than Doyle and Huey, was the only one wearing a helmet, while Blaineley was using a red chariot-like kart with golden-rimmed wheels. Doyle was using a yellow sports motorcycle. Chef was using a van that had several of Chef's "creations" in it while MK and Heloise used the same choices from the first race.

"Huh. Looks like our rides have already been chosen." Doyle said.

"That is because we configured the simulator to do all of that for you, based off your personalities." Blukic said.

"You're starting with us?" Huey asked Doyle.

"Yep. Start to finish." Doyle said. "Better watch your back out there 'cause I'm not gonna go easy on you."

"You're gonna have to earn this one. No freebies!" MK said.

"Welcome to the planet Primus. Home of the Volaticus biopsis, both of which were actually created by Azmuth. This organic machine is the source of the DNA samples for both the Ultimatrix and Omnitrix." Driba explained.

"So in other words, think of it as a sort of library or encyclopedia for all of Ben and Albedo's aliens." Rex inferred. "Pretty cool."

"An interesting comparison human. One I suppose would make sense." Blukic said.

"So what do these Volacius biposis things look like? Can Ben turn in to those?" Ruby R. asked.

"No. These cannot be scanned. Because of their inorganic structure, they cannot be added to the codon stream." Albedo answered.

"To answer your first question, they're insects. Just like Rex called Primus a library, think of them as archivists that Azmuth built to make adding aliens to them easier instead of having to constantly travel throughout the system himself. A heck of a way to be a lot more efficient." Ben added.

"It's too bad you won't be able to see what the outside looks like, as this track takes place completely inside." Driba said.

"It looks the simulator has chosen the shorter track configuration, codenamed: Codon Climb." Blukic said.

"This track will have you race exclusively on the elevated platform track, meaning that modifications for tires are not needed. You will race in criss-cross paths within ths cave, gradually increasing elevation until you encounter a ramp over a crevice. Keep up your speed and you should be able to clear it with no issues." Driba said.

"You forgot to tell them about the most dangerous part of the track. Forget the crevice. It's the Codon geysers that they have to worry about after that. I would suggest you not touch those." Blukic explained.

"I was getting to that. Now then, let the simulation begin!"

"3…."

"2…."

"1…."

"GO!"

The nine, with the exception of Doyle, were off.

"Before any of you ask, they all have a five second head start on Doyle, which starts now." Chris announced as he and all non-participants were on a platform in the middle of the track to watch.

"With how short this track is, is talking to them even necessary?" Bennett reasoned.

"They could still inform us about what it is happening." Rook said.

"I mean, it's too late to take it back regardless. We'll just let it play out and see what happens." Becky F. said.

"And so far, it's not playing so well. For anyone actually." Hanamiya said, a confused look on his face at how disorganized the race was as people were going through the crisscrosses as if they had no idea how to drive(even though some of them actually didn't have licenses).

"Watch where you're going!" Lucy called to Murasakibara as they ran into each other.

"Not my fault this track design stinks." Murasakibara said as they backed up to go different routes.

Lasers suddenly zipped past the two before hitting Blaineley, who was annoyed. The source coming from MK.

"Come on guys, it's not that bad. You gonna complain, or play?" MK called out to Murasakibara and Lucy.

"Tch, whatever you say." Murasakibara said dismissively as he turned to the right, barely avoiding Karin.

"I say, outta the way!" Doyle called out before throwing a ball of water at him and sending him into the air, leaving the purple-haired Miracle with annoyed look on his face.

"Nice rhyme, now how about my time to shine?" Molly said to Doyle before immediately firing an ultraviolet blast at him, blinding him and causing him to run right into Sebastian as they both spun out in the middle of one of the crisscross intersections.

"Splendid." Sebastian said sarcastically.

Molly wouldn't get a chance to celebrate long as she would be turned into a chicken by Rocky.

"Poetry? More like poultry!" Rocky said before laughing as he sped off before getting spun out by Huey who had a sudden XLR8-like boost of speed.

"Wait a second, aren't those…." Ben started, noticing how familiar some of the attacks they used were.

"D'oh, I knew we forgot something!" Blukic called out as the racers began to make their way to the last crisscross, seemingly finding some semblance of their bearings. Though the chaos that ensued with the items prevented anyone from being able to actually pull away and build a sizeable lead.

"By we, you mean you." Driba countered.

"I'm not the one who started spouting off about stuff no one cared about."

"It's valuable information!"

"Yes. Telling people there's a ramp that everyone has to get on is valuable information." Blukic said sarcastically as Rocky, Huey, MK and Ryoma were the first to reach said ramp.

"Look, are those based off my alien powers or not?" Ben asked, annoyed that their incessant arguing had carried over to here as well.

"Yes they are. We thought it would be more interesting to make attacks and pick-ups based off your alien abilities." Blukic said.

"With a couple of surprises as well." Driba said.

"So they get to feel a bit of what it's like to be me. That's actually a pretty cool idea guys." Ben said.

"Of course." Driba said in a rather overconfident manner.

"Without the B.O. Don't forget that." Yang said.

"What? I take showers thank you very much." Ben said before instinctively smelling himself.

"Taking our attention back to the race, we've got a surprising top 3 so far after a rather still surprising short lap even with the chaos that ensued in the beginning. Rocky is first, Ryoma is second and Karin is third." Chris said.

"Surprising how? They already told you it was going to be short. And quite frankly… it really is kinda short." Courtney said.

"You just the same thing and now you're surprised at it? You guys just talk just to talk I swear." Aomine remarked.

"How about actually talking about something positive or productive instead of some remark?"

"Like saying something we already know is productive. Right, right, you know everything, I forgot."

"What the heck is your problem? I'm not even trying to be confrontative at all."

"No clap back? Compared to Weiss you're no fun at all."

"I know how to have fun!"

"Sure doesn't seem like it. Was just bustin' your chops I promise. I'm sorry if it sounded like I was bein' serious." He said before saying under his breath. "Even though I kinda was a little…"

"I heard that!"

"Damn you've got some good a[censored] ears."

"A word of advice Aomine, please be quiet. Thank you." Weiss said.

Focusing things back on the race, more activity was seen in the crisscrosses again. This time, less from no one knowing what they were doing and now from the myriad of items.

Lucy was on the side of Ryoma.

"Still think you can take me?" Lucy said to Ryoma, smirking.

"I mean, you haven't exactly done anything to say otherwise."

One of her started to twitch, annoyed. "Don't say I didn't give you a chance to say you learned your lesson." She was suddenly hit by MK from behind with a fireball.

"Oh it's you." Ryoma said to her casually.

" 'Oh it's me'. You say that as if you were expecting someone else?" MK said.

"Well I mean there's six other people here I could have been talking about. Say, have you ever played the GBA Mario Kart games?"

MK had a confused look on her face. "Uh, no. Wh-"

The next thing she knew, she was hit by a time ray, aging her kart down to something unusable.

"I'm gonna get you back, believe that!" She called out as both he, Molly and Chef sped past.

"I'm not gonna go easy on you kid!" Chef called out to Molly.

"Wouldn't have it any other way." Molly grinned before actually moving her kart to the right to try and run into him, but missed.

"Maybe next time be a lot more-" Chef started before his Kart suddenly dematerialized into ash as her kart was upgraded from his parts along with taking his items. It was thanks to a red and black glove that she had that she was able to do this, using one of Malware's abilities to assimilate tech to do so.

"Thanks for the items!" Molly called out before speeding off to catch up to Ryoma.

"Now wait just a second! What happened to no stealing!" Scratch remarked, watching alongside Libby.

"It's the spirit of competition. Can't there just be one exception? Not that I'm saying stealing is good anywhere else but…." Libby reasoned.

"Whatever. Can't say I'm complaining though. At least she's not playing nice."

"I mean, she's just using an item. I don't see why it's such a big deal." Diego said.

"Yeah, it'd be one thing if she was cheating but, I don't really care to be honest." Hinata said.

Going down the second to last crisscross, Rocky and Blaineley were on a collision course with one another, with Rocky actually looking as if he wanted to run into her, which caused her to panic and quickly turn out of the way.

"What is wrong with you!?" Blaineley called out before being splattered with slime projectiles in her face, causing her to go out of control and slam into a wall.

"I'm perfectly sane, thank you very much!" Heloise called out, who was the source of the Stinkfly slime projectile before pulling out a rocket launcher that was designed like one of Ultimate Humungosaur's arms and began to fire missiles everywhere.

"Because that screams perfectly sane!" Huey yelled out sarcastically as he was trying to frantically avoid the missiles along with several others.

One of them hit Doyle as he fell off his bike, as it actually fell off the track. Now he had to wait a few seconds for it to reappear.

"Hello? Friendly fire!?" Doyle called out before almost getting ran over by both Rocky and Blaineley.

"What the h.e.,…. You know what I wanted to say!" Doyle called out, up in arms.

"As if you'd care if our positions were switched." Blaineley said.

"Yeah I would because I'm not a freaking maniac! Now catch!" He said, before pulling out a flashbang grenade and throwing it at Blaineley, blinding her, and causing her to get hit by Murasakibara, who used a yellow shield in front of his van to bump her out of the way without slowing down.

"You've got Vilgax's weapons too?" Ben said, noticing the Shield of Seagle.

Driba: "I told you there would be some surprises."

Using a mana shield, Sebastian blocked some of the incoming missiles and prevented Huey from getting hit as well.

"Thanks! I owe you one."

"It's no trouble at all. Come now, we must continue to advance." Sebastian said before leading the way.

Rocky, gun in hand, began to fire. Though for whatever reason, the gun only brought out portals instead of lasers.

"You guys added the Null Void projector!?" Ben said aloud to the pair.

"Yes. Yet another surprise I suppose." Rook said.

"Not a good one! He doesn't even know what he's doing! Look at him!" He continued to fire open the portals, trapping several people and objects within the portals before instantly letting them free again, including his own teammates.

Blukic: "It's just a simulation. None of this will send them to the actual null void. Rather, temporarily remove them from the race."

"Including your own teammates? What happened to no friendly fire!?" Becky F. shouted, up in arms.

Blukic: "Friendly what now?"

"Friendly fire? The thing that has been disabled for the two previous races to prevent accidents like this from occurring?" Becky B. asked.

Driba: "Friendly fire. Never considered it."

"What do you mean you never considered it? It's been there for the past two races!" Courtney said.

Blukic: "As long as they have accurate aim, collateral damage on allies should not occur."

"Okay, let's nip in the bud right now. What else did you two forget, that you're not telling us?" Heather asked.

Driba: "Nothing I can recall."

Blukic: "For once in a rare occurrence, I agree."

Karin, Molly and Ryoma seemed to have been the ones to stay out of the chaos the most and were already on their way to the ramp.

"For someone so young, you seemed to be very experienced and confident, despite your awful shortcomings." Karin said to Ryoma.

"Two on one! What're you gonna do now?" Molly said to Ryoma.

"Guess that's where my Mario Kart experience comes in to play." Ryoma said, smiling a little before Ryoma overtook her completely. Though this was part of her plan as she hit him with explosive spore pods akin to Wildvine's, causing him to lose control and actually fall through the crevice.

"RYOMA!" Several of the non-participating Kings called out.

"He's okay, right?" Molly asked Karin as the latter caught up to the former.

"I would think. Our vehicles have recovered from being hit before so I don't see why not." Karin said.

"Hope you're right."

As Karin and Molly cruised their way to the final section of the track which was avoiding the codon geysers again, Ryoma was brought out of the geyser and back on to the section of the track before the ramp.

Blukic: "And that is one of the safety bounds we've put in place. While you'll still be brought back on the track as if nothing happened, you'll still lose ground so keep that in mind."

"Well, at least he's not dead." Dewey commented.

Driba: "Of course not. We may be experimental but we're not insane."

"With the things you guys do, it seems like you are at times." Ben said.

Chris: "And it's the final lap! With Karin starting to put some separation between herself and the rest of the competition!"

Suddenly, Rocky was seen uncontrollably boosting and spinning his way forward, using the speed of Fasttrack to help him.

Chris: "Scratch that! Looks like Rocky is trying to make this interesting!"

He continues spinning past a shocked Karin and Molly before he gets to the crisscrosses again and runs into the wall, making him dizzy.

"First place. Hooray." Rocky said, still dizzy.

Seconds later, Karin sped past him to reclaim first, with Molly reclaiming second. Though the upgraded sped she had reverted not long after.

"We're losing ground. We gotta do something!" Huey called out to Sebastian as Chef was on their trail, attacking them with several blaster shots from the Proto-Tool.

"You're not doin' nothing!" Chef called out, still firing at them before finally being able to focus and get a good shot and fired at Huey, only for his attempts to be thwarted by Sebastian, who actually used a green vacuum to suck in the blast and fire green energy akin to Upchuck back at Chef, who was wide-eyed, not expecting the reversal and was sent flying.

"Thanks again." Huey said.

"No need. If you'd like to show your gratitude, I would suggest you do it and use your item to help put us in a better position." Sebastian said.

"I would but, I'm not exactly in range to be able to do anything effective."

"Well then, I suppose we won't know for sure if we don't try."

Huey took a couple of seconds before making his decision. "Okay. Let's give it a try." He then holds up the badge with the Omnitrix symbol before pressing it. "Please be-" The next thing he knew, he was surrounded in green energy, speeding off so fast that it sent a shockwave, knocking Sebastian away and leaving him wide-eyed in surprise as Huey was already long gone.

"WELL, AT LEAST I KNOW IT'S GOOD! AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Huey yelled out as he had no control of his kart. And unlock Rocky's case, he literally had no control over. He sped down the track as fast as lightning as he automatically used different alien abilities to block attacks or attack anyone that he passed, including Rocky, who he made dizzy again thanks to the usage of XLR8's speed.

Doyle and Heloise looked at each other after they were both hit.

"What was that!?" Doyle said to her as she could only shrug.

Molly saw someone behind them coming up fast and she gasped. "Behind us!"

The next thing he knew, he was in second behind Karin.

"So you've caught up. At first I would have thought this was going to be an easy victory." Karin said.

"Then you must have not read Junior Woodchuck Guidebook Rule number one! Always expect the-" He was suddenly webbed in place by Molly via a Spidermonkey attack.

"-unexpected." Huey finished before facepalming, upset at himself. "With how much progress they made, I should have seen that coming."

Running unopposed, Karin was the first to cross the finish line with Molly being second.

"Woo!" Molly had her hand up for a high five for Karin. Though that would never be finished as the track suddenly dematerialized. Everything changed, suddenly sending Karin back to the starting line along with Yang and Becky B., all of the others, with the exception of Chef, Doyle, MK and Heloise, off the track. Becky was using a Kart that was red and had the same symbol used when she was WordGirl. Notably, it was shaped like a rocket. Yang used a yellow and black buggy.

Botan Jungle(Mortal Kombat Armageddon)

"Winner: Karin, team 3. Results updated."

The scores suddenly changed as the Kings were second and the Rats were third.

"What!?" Several people, including Karin herself, was surprised.

"Hmm….. it appears the random queue has selected another track." Blukic said.

Sendo suddenly picked up Driba. "All right ya little pipsqueaks! We just got last place! Explain yourself, now!"

"The first person to cross would be considered the winner for their team. That's why the scores updated." Blukic explained.

"We have literally never ran any of the previous races like that? So why would you do that now?" Heather said.

"The simulator was never configured to handle anything else. In most cases, from what we have researched, team racing is very niche in these Earth video games." Driba explained as the three racers on the track were off, racing across the bridge.

"No it's not! What the heck kind of research have you guys been doing!?" Ben asked.

"Considering that we configured this next race to be one from each team only, like how the second race was designed, this shouldn't be much of an issue anymore." Blukic said.

"I am very confused. You replicated those concepts but you didn't replicate all of the other aspects of the races?" Razer asked.

"We only replicated what was needed. The friendly fire aspect was never something we considered because it would have been unnecessary and unrealistic." Blukic said.

"Unrealistic!? Dude! It's a freaking kart video game! Of course they're not ultra-realistic!" Randy said.

"Now you see what we have to deal with back home." Ben said to him and the rest of his teammates.

"Are you sure there isn't anything else you're leaving out?" Din asked the pair calmly.

"Hm… oh yes! The items for this are based off a rather niche game that Chris suggested to us." Driba said.

"Chris, did you know about any of this?" Kurt asked.

"I only gave them the instructions. They're the geniuses in this case. But just so you know, I asked them to replicate what was seen in the first two races. They didn't choose friendly fire, that one's on them, not me." Chris said.

"But you could have at least gone back to check. So yes, some of this still is on you!" Rei said.

"Look, you know the rules now. It's over. Deal with it. Now let's bring things back to the race." Chris said.

Karin continued to hold the lead, playing the deny game to prevent Yang or Becky from passing, with Heloise, Chef, Doyle and MK all looming behind with head start having passed.

"You can't keep this up forever." Becky called out.

"You say this as you aren't doing anything to change the res-" Karin called out before being crushed by one of the giant presses as she unknowingly was in one of the red warning squares that glowed, flattening her.

"Ouch! Good thing I told them to tone down the traps a wee bit. Otherwise, that would have been a fatality." Chris said.

"Wait, fatality? As in death!?" Huey D. said, hands on his head.

"Yep. Fun fact guys, this is based off of Mortal Kombat Armageddon's unique Motor Kombat game mode, mixing Kart Racing with said franchise's bloody aspects, death traps and all. Although I think only the death traps are the only thing that was actually bloody believe it or not." Chris explained as Chef used a spear to latch himself on to Yang's vehicle, pulling her back before sending her flying off the bridge as they cleared the first lap.

"Four on one. Wonderful." Becky said sarcastically.

"Don't worry, we promise to go easy on ya." MK said, but was interrupted by her jumping in the air and slamming on the ground as a shockwave of purple energy was seen coming from the kart, knocking three away with the exception of MK herself, dodging the attack by levitating in the air for a bit like Ermac.

"Just so you know, I lied!" MK called out as they picked up more items, Becky and MK going through a red-colored Mortal Kombat logo going around a right corner very fast.

"Oh I know. You've made that clear several times." Becky said.

"Good. That means I won't feel sorry for doing this!" MK called out before calling out a lightning strike similar to Nightwolf and shocking her.

"No way!" Becky called out before throwing out Shao Kahn's hammer, timing it well enough to bounce off a wall and then bounce back and hit MK in the head, making her dizzy for several seconds.

It didn't take long for Yang and Karin to get in good position to catch up along with everyone else as they intentionally tried to go through the Green Lighting Bolt pickups which were the boosts.

"Jesus, the boost pickups in this are f[censored]ing insane." Rick commented as even Becky, the leader was benefitting from the boosts.

"Yeah. Who needs cheating and rubber-banding am I right?" Morty added.

"Whew. I love ya bullet bill, but with this, you might have some competition." MK remarked as Heloise was flattened by one of the giant presses. "Somewhat. At least you're actually invincible with that."

Becky looked behind her.

"You guys again?"

"Yep. We're back!" Doyle called out before pulling out one of Jax's machine guns and started to shoot it at her.

Chris: "Fun fact. Not all of the things you're seeing here are in the actual mode. Like before, I asked them to add things to spice it up a little. Like the machine guns!"

"You look way too excited at wanting to shoot at actual kids with machine guns." Reagan said.

Chris: "I mean, it's not real. Think of it as….. Tom and Jerry! Or Looney Tunes!"

"I get what you mean with the slapstick, but that is a horrible comparison!" May said to the host.

"Yeah man, you're comparin' absolute classics to a game where people get murdered in the most brutal ways possible." Kagami said. "And no, never actually played MK. Can't say I really play too many games either to be honest."

"Both of which are, ironically owned by the same company." Becky F. noted as her other name-sharing contemporary fell to her doom off the ramp thanks to Karin doing the same strategy of waiting for the ramp and then using the item that she received on her.

"How could she fall for that when she was literally watching the last game?" Kagami commented.

"Because it's not the exact same strategy. This time, she just timed it well enough to make her fall off." Rei explained.

Chris: "Final Lap Guys!"

"The heck is this, that Wipeout and F-Zero race from that finale? Why is everything going so fast? I'm watching and I'm still shocked." Rally commented.

"One: The boosts. Two: Looks like another short track." Rex answered.

"But mostly the boosts. Man those help out a lot." Ben said.

Yang threw out a green force ball that arched before hitting Karin.

"You just got caged." Yang said, smirking before putting on the Johnny Cage glasses the item also gave her. Though this wouldn't last long as she was pulled back by Karin using a Scorpion spear.

"And now to leave you and your terrible jokes in the dust!" Karin announced as she went over a green boost.

"I don't think so!" Yang called out before staying hot on her tail by also running over the green boost as well.

Suddenly, a missile came overhead, hitting Karin on the head.

"I don't know, I actually kinda liked it." Doyle called out to her as he appeared thanks to a Raiden Teleport.

"Thanks. Too bad I don't like your cheating. Two power-ups. Really?" Yang said to the bounty hunter.

"I was told I could use it so why not? As long as its legal, I don't have a problem with it." He said, shrugging before going over another item and suddenly bringing out a skeleton hand underground by way of Shinnok to hold Yang in place. He then went over to her.

"I'll be taking those." He said before taking the glasses from her before speeding off and looking back, giving her a thumbs up before his tires were cut by a razor hat running across the ground.

"Okay. I might have deserved that." Doyle remarked before three figures sped past him and made him dizzy.

The three being Chef, Becky and Karin, all of whom were able to do so via Kabal's speed.

"Good luck getting past me!" Chef said before using the extra item he had, giving him ice armor. Both Becky and Karin looked at one another before using their items to push him into a wall. Something that would have been a fatality had it not been toned down by Chris' request.

They both were about to go over the ramp.

"Don't think you're going to pull the same old trick on me again! It won't work!" Becky said to her.

"Of course. You're too smart for that. May the best racer win." Karin declared as they went over the ramp. Though what she did next was something that Becky didn't expect, which was actually jump out of her vehicle and tackle her. Although Becky's superior strength was able to throw her off mid-air, her vehicle was temporarily lost as it fell off the bridge. Luckily for Karin, hers wasn't. Quickly climbing back on the bridge, she quickly got back in her vehicle before speeding off.

"Why that little- she lied!" Becky yelled out in frustration, now having to wait a few seconds for her vehicle to reappear.

But by then, it was already too late. Karin had already crossed the finish line and yang and the others were about to pass her. That is until Becky, in frustration and anger, actually bumped Yang off the bridge, allowing herself to secure second. Now winning two in a row, the Kanzuki heir was at the starting line again, this time on a colorful road as they were seemingly in space.

Rocky, Lucy, Becky Farrah, Kurt, Reimu, Huey Freeman, Ryoma Echizen, Sophie, Hanamiya, Urien and Reagan were chosen alongside Karin.

"And now to cap things off with a classic! Rainbow Road! On the fastest speed! The team that finishes first or finishes with the most people ten seconds after the first person crosses wins!" Chris called out.

"Chris, you are a madman." MK said, grinning a little after hearing this.

"Yeah. I know, righ-GO!"

Before anyone could even get their bearings on what vehicles they were even using, they were already off at a faster speed than some of them expected.

"This is unbearable! How does he expect us to-" Urien started before falling off after being unable to gain control of his vehicle.

"Great. Going cold turkey like is not what I had in mind. But I'll have to make do." Hanamiya thought before Rocky sped past him, causing him to spin out and leaving him annoyed before Sophie, Lucy and Ryoma also sped past him, which changed him from being annoyed to ticked off.

And his misfortune continued being hit by a green shell from MK and being hit by lightning by Chef.

Meanwhile, Sophie was against Lucy.

"I'm sure this was the moment you were waiting for." Ryoma said to Sophie as he passed her.

"What? What are you talking abo-" Sophie started before being hit by a fireball from Lucy which caused her to groan in annoyance as she sped to try and catch up.

Hanamiya was about to be in between Reimu and Becky F. Both of them nodded before converging on him, officially causing him to be last place. And he wasn't happy with it at all.

Kurt, even with the extra speed, was still doing well as he interestingly had a kart styled similarly to the Teku vehicles, currently second behind Rocky, believe it or not, with Huey and Karin battling for third.

Because of how fast they were going through the circuit, they were able to pick up items fairly quickly.

Doyle, speeding up and attempting to hit him with a green shell, missed.

"With how you're racing, you'd think you've been playing this for a while." Doyle said.

"Nope, never played. But, a track is still a track. Just like fighting is a lot of the strength of these guys, racing is mine." Kurt said.

"We'll see about that." Doyle said before throwing a boomerang at him. They were heading towards a split in the road, with Kurt waiting until the last second to make his decision and force Doyle to have to guess to avoid being hit. And he guessed wrong. Doyle took the left. Kurt took the right. "Darn it!"

It was already the start of another lap.

"Second place or not, it'll be the end of the road for one of you after today." Karin said to Huey.

"At the rate this is going, it'll be the end for basically everybody here." Huey remarked, referring to how fast the speed was.

"Doesn't look to be that way so far. I think you're just beginning to create excuses from self-doubt of winning."

"I'm serious. You don't notice that this has gotten faster?" Huey was suddenly hit in the face with a blooper from her.

"It's too bad you can't notice anything anymore."

Unable to see where he was going, Huey elected to slow down to avod falling off. But still lost him some time.

Meanwhile, Sophie and Lucy were two who definitely didn't lose any time, despite being in the middle of the pack.

"Your streak of races ends here." Sophie said to her.

"I disagree! It's just beginning!" Lucy declared before using the Super Horn to push Sophe and Reagan, who was collateral damage, back.

Though Sophie used a Bob-omb and threw it with enough distance to catch her.

"Sorry, but I won't give you this win for free." Sophie declared after catching up to her.

"Something tells me this is personal, isn't it?"

"Considering you beat me the last time we were in a challenge, I don't exactly have much of a reason to hold back."

"Oh, so this is revenge for you huh? Too bad I'm not going to lose and let you get it!"

Sophie scoffed as they crossed for a third lap.

"As if I would take you that seriously to call it revenge."

"Suuuure."

"I'm not!"

"I see how it is. You're still upset at the fact my spirits mopped the floor with your titans."

Sophie grit her teeth in anger before using the mushroom she had to boost forward. Though it was too much speed and she fell of the track.

"Even someone like her's got emotions. Too easy." Lucy bragged before being hit by Urien, causing her to spin out, dizzy.

"Don't get too overconfident, child. You haven't won." Urien said.

"And neither have you." Reimu called out as two red shells pursued him. He was able to cancel out the first, but not the second. The second being from Becky.

"I really hope they don't make it obvious they're helping each other." Louie thought.

Becky immediately sent another out at Reimu to temporarily spin her out.

"Unfortunately for you, that applies to you too." Becky said to Reimu, before adjusting her glasses. "I'm taking over this game now!" She was suddenly shrunk down, with Heloise being the corporate.

"Yep. Good luck with that." Heloise said sarcastically.

"I can tell you don't really play, 'cause your aim sucks!" Doyle taunted Reagan as they were going around a turn for the fourth lap as things got faster.

"Well it's hard to aim when you're going this fast!" Reagan called out.

"Then don't! Stop thinking so hard and just play! You see where that's getting Rocky!"

"At the rate Rocky's going, that isn't sustainable. I don't even know if he really even presses the brake!" She was suddenly hit by a fireball.

"Blah blah blah who's coping now?"

"I am not coping!" Reagan called out, annoyed before boosting to catch up. Though this would be stopped in its tracks by Ryoma, who had a grin on his face as he was traversing through with the star and passing through several people unscathed. Spinning them out as he did.

"Like I said, you're coping 'cause you're losing."

"Am no-" Hanamiya also sped past them with a Bullet Bill, teeth showing and mouth flabbering in the wind as he continued to quickly catch up.

"I imagine that this is nothing like your races?" Karin said to Kurt, as they were now battlng for second.

"Nope. Nothing as chaotic as this." Kurt said before they were about to cross the line again for the fifth and final lap, which is where things started to get too hard even for Kurt to control as he was forced to quickly brake. Karin didn't exactly have that same reaction time as she went too fast and fell off the track.

"This is way too fast! What the heck would possess you to do this Chris?" Randy asked, hands on his face.

"The thought of wanting to give them a challenge, that's what." Chris replied.

"Come on kid, your Mario Kart skills don't hold a candle to mine. Does GBA even have Rainbow Road?" MK asked Ryoma as he avoided a bomb thrown by her.

"Why wouldn't it?" Ryoma asked.

"Just wonderin',"

"Even if I've played less than you, doesn't mean I can't win." Ryoma called out before falling behind.

"Like I'd fall for my own trick." MK said before looking back and noticing that she left Ryoma in the dust. "Guess he chickened out and slowed down."

But that was what he wanted her to think. He then threw the blue shell from a large distance. It speeds past her and goes for Rocky instead, slowing him down and causing him to fall off the track.

Chris: "And in a shocking turn of events, Rocky has been dethroned!"

Now, it was anyone's game.

"Time to floor it!" Rocky called out, immediately stepping on the gas to get to first again but almost running into Lucy and Becky in the process.

"Be careful!" Becky called out.

"No time for that! Ryoma's gonna win if we don't do something!" Rocky said before Huey was also about to speed past them.

"Not if I can help it." Hanamiya thought, blue shell in hand.

Though Urien had other plans. He attacked them with fireballs until he couldn't use them anymore.

"Out of my way!" Urien called out.

"I don't think so." Huey said before throwing a boomerang in his direction before Urien decided to throw the shell he had in the air and stop the boomerang.

Though he slipped on a banana peel that Rocky threw.

"Guess the banana didn't hear you." Rocky remarked which only made Urien aggravated.

Ryoma had already crossed first.

"And with that Ryoma wins!"

Hanamiya grit his teeth. "Damn it! I won't let you ba[censored]s get this for free though."

Huey and Urien were the closest about to cross.

"I refuse to lose to some child!" Urien called out before boosting forward and using his Aegis Reflector, stopping Huey from crossing and causing him to actually fall of the track.

"You're not getting across before me!" Sophie said as she and Lucy were also about to cross.

"Sorry, but I don't plan on losing today!" Lucy called out before attempting to get past Sophie completely, only for Karin to catch both and send both flying off the track.

"Your little skirmish left you open to attack. Now if you'll-" Karin started before being hit by Kurt, who left Karin in shock.

"See ya."

"NO!"

"WATCH OOOOOOOOUT!" Reagan yelled as she was carried to the finish by Bullet Bill.

Time was about to run out.

Hanamiya tossed his blue shell, hoping it would hit someone. And it did. That someone being Becky, who was p[censored]ed.

Hoping to save it to win, she had no choice but to use it now, using the golden mushroom to constantly boost, constantly tapping on the boost before catching up to Reimu, the only other person being Rocky as Hanamiya had already crossed.

She gave a glance at Reimu from opposite sides of the track, who had a red shell in her hand. Rocky was about to attack first with a green shell but Becky, "frustrated", began to slow down and got hit by it instead.

"Sorry!" Rocky said before being hit by Reimu's red shell. Seconds later, Reimu barely crossed with Rocky and Karin being able to score a finish a split second before time expired.

"And that's the race, folks! Let's see the results of who won!" Chris said.

"With the third team having the most members cross first over the first and second with two, they win." Driba announced as said third team celebrated as the island reappeared, the simulation ended.

"I told ya. All you needed to do was relax. It's a game, not science." Doyle said to Reagan.

"Yeah. I guess. Thanks for the advice. Especially considering you don't have to help." Reagan said.

"Even if I am getting paid by Chris, that's not gonna change who I am. Money is not gonna make me stop caring about people."

"I think I can see that now. You know Doyle, you're alright." Reagan said to him, smiling before giving him some friendly taps on the shoulder.

"And you're….. eh I got nothin'. You look nice?"

"I'm literally wearing a lab coat."

As they continued to talk, Todd made the gagging face to Zak M., who could only cringe at the display. Not from Todd, but from those two. But all of that would be interrupted by Sendo.

"Are you trying to make us lose these? What the heck was that!?" Sendo shouted at Rocky.

"It was a mistake! Honest!" Rocky insisted.

"We believe you. You did your best. That is all we can hope to ask for." Puss said.

"Yeah. I'm not too happy either but you gotta chill. The dude was able to hold first for like most of the game." Kagami said to Sendo.

Sendo sighed. "Yeah. He held down first for most of the game, so I'll give him that. But still… we had the game within our reach. Some of this is on Lucy too."

"What? How is this on me?" Lucy asked in disbelief.

"It's on all of us. Putting it on one person is just not fair to anyone here." Becky B. said.

"But I think we can all definitively agree that friendly fire should have been disabled. These imbeciles played a part in our defeat as well." Albedo said, referring to Blukic and Driba.

"Considering you should still be serving for your crimes, I don't think you have much room to criticize us." Driba said to him.

"I served a decent amount of my time with no issues or objections. If you want to credit anyone for releasing me early it should be Chris." Albedo said.

"I still want to know Sendo. How exactly is this on me, when I literally won most of the races I was in?" Lucy asked, confronting the boxer.

"Your little rivalry with Sophie got you distracted. And that was what allowed Karin to attack you both."

"There is no rivalry going on here." Sophie and Lucy insisted.

"Shut up. And I really do mean that too. You can say what you want, but I know what I'm lookin' at. The same thing that goes on with me and Makunouchi, and what goes on with Aomine and Kagami, and Skipper and Puss. And possibly others. So save that baloney for someone else."

"I didn't even initiate it. Sophie went out of her way to hunt for me." Lucy said.

"I did not 'hunt for you'. That is a ridiculous exaggeration! With what was going on, that was the last thing on my mind!" Sophie said.

"Sophie, enough. What's done is done." Din said.

Sophie could only fold her arms, shooting a glare at Lucy.

"You too Lucy. We should all be in agreeance in what Becky just said earlier about accountability." Rally added.

"Fine, fine. I'll stop." Lucy said, not failing to notice the glare that Sophie was giving her.

"Yeah, you did pretty great out there. There's nothin' to be too upset about." Natsu said before Lucy gave him a death glare. "Other than losing….. yeah."

"Well, good news for both of you, is that you'll both be able to snuggle up together for the elimination. I said double and that's not going to change." Chris said. "Although, Breakers consider yourselves lucky that's still enough to keep you safe and this doesn't go into any tiebreakers, or you lose the challenge. Why? Because Urien used his abilities when he wasn't supposed to, which means, his contribution doesn't count. But it's still more than the other two teams so it doesn't matter."

"Hmph. No matter. As long as our victory is still established, I could care less." Urien said.

"You've got any more remarks about my team, Rick?" Hanamiya said, trying to hide his sneer.

"Yeah. Maybe if you wouldn't have played horrible to begin with, you wouldn't have to find desperate ways to win like this one." Rick said before walking away.

"You can call it what you want, but we earned it." He called out.

"Heck yeah we did!" Molly said before offering a high five. One that Hanamiya took, but hated every second of it.

"All right, looks like-" Blukic started before the machine shut down completely. "Was that supposed to do that?"

"Hmm… looks like the several participants along with the various environments may have overloaded the system." Driba said.

"No worries. A mistake that can be easily corrected."

Chris opened up a portal to get the pair out. "Thanks again. Really appreciate it."

"Thank you for allowing us to test out our training equipment." Blukic said.

"Kagami! Despite your self-admitted poor performance, you put Lucy in a position to win the race. And, she actually won! This started a 3-game streak for her."

"Yeah. Still need to be better next time. If I even get that chance." Kagami said.

"Rocky! You held down first for most of the last race! But, you slowed down several of your teammates and potentially costed your team one win, and potentially a second one. But some of them can't deny how useful your unpredictability can be in challenges. Though they've also noted how much of a double-edged sword that is." Chris said.

"At least I get to know that I'm appreciated for my talents." Rocky said, a toothy grin on his face.

"F[censored]ing cat! We needed you damn it! Quit acting like you just won!" Hiruma shouted as he continued to spray him, though Rocky continued to laugh during the display. He stopped. "Tch." After closing his eyes, he tossing him one of his guns.

"Oh wow. A gift for me?"

"Chris, get on with it." Hiruma said, eyes closed, refusing to even look in Rocky's direction.

"Right. Kings. You've also casted your votes. Let's see which king is gonna be dead next."

"Jotaro! Despite your losses, solid performance all-around. Looks like that's enough to keep you in." Jotaro silently caught the snacks.

Octavia caught the snacks as she had headphones in, music low enough for her to be able to hear.

"Sly! Same thing. Another solid game with a crafty move against MK. I quote from her, 'Sly, I will get my revenge. But still, respect. GGs to all of you. Especially Echizen and Sly.'" He said, reading off a note.

"Good games to her as well." Sly said with several others also saying "Good games".

"Ryoma! You delivered and won in the last race and did very well in the third one, while keeping that same unwavering confidence. I think that's earned a lot of praise from your teammates, where a lot of people weren't exactly fans of your attitude before. You're safe!"

"Thanks." Ryoma said.

"Sophie! And both Hueys! Last three!"

"Sophie! A decent game. But you put attention on yourself when you started going against Lucy again. Perhaps, maybe if you hadn't been trying to match with her and get revenge, you would have helped your team win."

"Huey Duck! You did pretty well, but you kinda messed up at the end, costing your team a game that could have potentially guaranteed your team another win in the challenge."

"Yeah. I wholeheartedly take accountability for that loss. Sorry guys." Huey D. said.

"Don't worry about it. Everyone loses sometimes. What matters is how you can grow and learn from that loss." Akashi said.

"Akashi's a hundred percent correct. Don't put yourself down too much. Instead, find a way to make yourself stronger." Isagi said.

"Yeah man. We're right behind ya. Right?" Dewey said before looking at Louie. When he didn't respond, looking at his phone, Dewey nudged him.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, sure. We got your back." Louie said, still looking at his phone.

"Huey Freeman! A quietly decent performance! One that may have ended in a victory had Urien not broken the rules, and technically cheated."

"Considering the results, there's not exactly much I can really do about it now. Shoulda, coulda, woulda. I could easily complain about Urien doing that, but there's things that I could have personally done better to avoid that situation. But other than that, hoping to get another chance, but I respect the decision either way."

Huey, Dewey and Louie were all nervous, with even Todd having full attention on the result.

Becky and Reimu were also intently waiting for the results as well, with Murasakibara not exactly having any feelings either way as he was eating a popsicle.

"Yes! Thank you!" Huey D. spoke up, fists in the air in celebration before getting hit in the face by the pack.

"Wow. Huey moment." Louie commented.

"Like I said, I respect the decision." Huey Freeman said before waiting for the portal.

"Sometimes, the most obvious or loud threats are never the most dangerous ones. As quoted from the famous Rapper Lil' Wayne, 'Real Gs move in silence like lasagna'. While there is a double meaning or pun as the g is silent, the real meaning of this is that-" Huey narrated as he shook hands with Rally and others before walking towards the portal. Though Chris interrupted him.

"Dude, what the heck are you doing? Get in the portal before I kick you in there. We need to end the show. We're going over time." Chris said.

"Anyone else hear him talking somehow?" Huey D. asked.

"Yeah. I think he was monologuing or narrating. Unfortunately, we won't get to hear the rest it seems." Becky B. said.

"I don't have much else to say other than what I've already said before. Just remember, at the end of the day, money shouldn't change who you are. But if it does, it should be for the better, not for the worse." Huey F. said before going into the portal.

"The rest of you are safe! For now!"

"Hey Rocky!" Kagami called out. The cat turned before he tossed him his fruit snacks. Though another pack came simultaneously as Becky F. did the same thing with Sebastian also tossing his to him.

"But, these are-" Rocky started.

"Don't worry about it dude. Just wouldn't feel right if you didn't have one, so take it." Kagami insisted.

"I have no need. You are free to take them." Sebastian said.

"You guys..." Rocky started, unsure of what to say.

Hiruma loaded a gun before shooting at him with real bullets. "TAKE THE DAMN SNACKS AND GO!"

Rocky took the snacks and ran but not without calling out his thanks.

Hiruma, eyes closed, slowly walked to his respective portal back home.

Mamori was about to reach out for his shoulder and say something to him, only for him to keep his eyes closed and walk to the portal in silence.

"You don't think Hiruma..." Kurita started.

Mamori could only look forward in silence before going in herself, unsure of what to say.

Reimu lightly hit Becky F. on the top of the head with her gohei.

"What do you want?" Becky F. asked, trying not to be mean, but she wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone.

"I know it won't a hundred percent help. And I didn't exactly feel too good after that either. Next time we come back, I'll bring you some tea. Promise."

"Honestly, I wouldn't mind that at all. Thanks."

***Confessional***

Becky F.(Radical Rats):

Becky put a hand on her head. "I still feel bad. He didn't deserve that. I know money doesn't fix everything, but I'm giving some of my share to Rocky. I have to make it right. If you ever hear this Rocky, and I'll tell it to you again, when this is over, I'm really, really sorry."

Becky sighed. "I need some TV. I'm not in the mood to do any work today."

***End Confessional***

A/N: Apologies for taking so long with this one. Was a way busier week than normal.

As for Rocky, he is the first casualty of the money-hungry alliance. Though he was a blast to write. Thankfully, he'll get another chance to shine in Forest Campgrounds, Unlimited Island and Kickstart. There might be one other one I'm missing I can't remember.

I got the idea to bring in Blukic and Driba from the first Ben 10 Omniverse Video game, where the first level involves being in the training simulator before it goes haywire, setting up the plot of the game.

Fun fact, the Vreedle Brothers are commentators in the Ben 10 Galactic Racing races, but I decided not to bring them in and replaced them with Blukic and Driba. I don't remember the reason why they were there as I haven't played the game in at least a couple of years. Maybe there's no reason at all other than just because since I don't think any of the games other than Vilgax Attacks are canon lol(Paradox actually makes a reference to the game in an episode, confirming it to be a part of an alternate universe).

Next episode will be more action-based, where the teams will take on some new and old villains on the show. The exact villains they'll face are in the last chapter with a couple of surprises that'll be seen in the episode.
